Eurostars Toledo

The hotel was very clean and the staff were pleasant. The room was very spacious and the view was excellent. We had secure parking, payable but not excessive. The area was quiet and a good place to stop over for the night. Breakfast was OK.

It just seemed a little flat, one lady on reception, no one at the bar area, you needed to go to reception and request a drink, my partner wanted to take a bottle of cava to our room for us to enjoy in the room but we were told that we hadn't reserved this. I have never experienced this before in a hotel. The bar man had to keep running up the stairs and seemed to be doing more than one job. Other guests were frustrated. So l didn't get my sparkling wine and settled for a glass of warm rather horrid vino, such a shame as Spain is famous for good wine. Another guest took his drink to his room and said lve waited long enough for it! Whilst waiting for my drink l perused the brochure for eurostar hotel's and they said your holiday experience is our priority, it didn't feel like that to us. I was glad we got a good offer as l would have been very unhappy to pay the full amount.
