Plussat: Hotel was spacious. The staff were friendly. Excellent location right at the station & close to bus service.

Plussat: Super convenient location next to the Shinkansen train station. Well appointed property.

Miinukset: Buffet for breakfast and dinner could be improved.

Plussat: After some disappointing experiences in other cities we were craving for comfort A good bed Good climate control (not the fan/airco blowing in your neck all night) We find this here!

Plussat: Great location directly connected to Hiroshima station. Lots of great restaurants and shops nearby as well as the buses, trams and of course trains (including the tourist loop bus you can use with your JR pass for free). The beds were very comfortable and the rooms large for Japan.

Miinukset: Charge to use the pool was very high and restriction on tattoos a little odd but not uncommon in japan. Other hotels have offered use of a free rash guard to cover shoulder tattoos but here we would have had to go buy one.

Plussat: Direct connection from Hiroshima train station. Did not even need to go down to street level. This was great because I had all my luggage with me. Easy transition after a long day of travel. The room was very spacious after having stayed in more standard Japanese hotel rooms.

Miinukset: Shower / tub design. Very open to room

Plussat: The Hiroshima Sheraton is a very nice hotel directly located next to the train station. Nice view over Hiroshima in higher floors. Would always stay there again. The rooms are new and very clean. Loved it.

Plussat: Well situated nearby the station, very practical and easy to eat all around. Rooms are good and spacious even if it is a bit expensive for what it is.

Miinukset: The breakfast wasn’t the best ever and especially the breakfast box as we had to leave early. Very cheap box for the quality of tte Sheraton. I found amazing that we had to pay such an expensive price for the swimming pool, not included in the room price (first time ever I see that).

Plussat: Location great , friendly polite and helpful staff. Room immaculate

Plussat: The location was perfect - right next to the station with an elevated concourse connecting the Shinkazen exit to the hotel lobby lift! Small but effective gym on site which was great. Good views from rooms.

Miinukset: You have to pay extra (per person) to use the pool and Jacuzzi which was a shame, it was empty the whole time we were there

Plussat: Location is convenient and perfect, located at the JR rail/Shinkansen station, with Hiroshima city streetcar station in front of rail station. Extremely clean, awesome beds, spa-like showers, great food, fun bar with Happy hour, easily-accessed smoking area outside the lobby, corner rooms with amazing views, English speaking staff, money-converting machine in lobby, A+ breakfast buffet, convenience stores located steps away in rail station and across the street.

Miinukset: All was basically perfect. Just know that the hotel is NOT "walking distance" to any tourist spots, but IS located steps from the rail and Shinkansen central station and a short walk to Hiroshima streetcar station which will take you all over the city for a few dollars. (¥160 or $1.60 to go direct to Atomic Dome and a museum). Restaurants are pricey but there are 7-Elevens in the rail station for late snacking.

Plussat: Location, staff and breakfast

Plussat: Spacious room for 2 adults and 1 child in a twin bed room (beds are not very large, so be aware that two adults cannot sleep on the same bed, but 1 child and 1 adult is OK); great breakfast (sort of buffet with western and asian dishes), perfect location (near to a electric railway station, the number 2, direct from Shinkansen train station), nice staff with adequate English level and free access to a small japanese spa (mini onsen with 2 pools and traditional showers).

Miinukset: Nothing.

Plussat: The hotel is just perfect, there is not one single thing I coul complain about in the hotel.

Plussat: Great hotel, location is very easy next to the tram, the view is spectacular and the facilities are great (the onset/spa at the 14th floor is a must). The room was large and very well equipped.

Miinukset: Very small rooms, the smallest we saw during our 3 week stay in Japan. You don’t even have space to put the bags (let alone open them)! The first room we were given smelled like a public toilet. They gave us another room, but staff at reception was more focused in making sure we paid in advance than in solving the problem! Staff at reception didn’t really speak English, which for a hotel is kind of unacceptable.

Plussat: Rooms are spacious, super clean, nice pajamas and slippers, staffs are caring and courteous they helped me sending luggages to our next hotel in Osaka, yummy breakfast, perfect location it’s near malls and bus stop and train stop just 2 mins walking. Didn’t get a chance to check out their sky spa, would try it next time we’re staying in the hotel again.

Plussat: Excellent location, right next to the shopping and okonomimura

Plussat: All was perfect... from the arrival until the departure. Perfect location, staff eager to support, room size perfect to up to 3 days trip.

Miinukset: Breakfast good, but above the average price.

Plussat: An Amazing Hotel, with an amazing view, right in the heart of Hiroshima's shopping area and a quick walk away from the Peace Park. Has Two major shopping complexes either side and good food all around it. Tram and bus stops right down the road.

Miinukset: Next to nothing. Only thing is you can't pay in advance so stop by an ATM on your way there. Plus Train station is a bit far away.

Plussat: The room is clean, the staff is helpful, the dist4ict is nice, close to all major attractions like the peace memorial and the breakfast is good. The best hotel hotel I have been in Japan.

Miinukset: Nothing, it was perfect for the price.

Plussat: The location is near all tourist areas. Bathroom was quite big for japanese standards.

Miinukset: our window faced a wall.

Plussat: Nice breakfast includes both Japanese style and continental style.

Miinukset: Parking was hard to find and some streets were only one way.... took a long time to figure out the parking.

Plussat: Super clean hotel that appears like it caters to business travelers. The room, for Japan, was quite roomy and accommodating. The breakfast was a traditional Japanese breakfast. The location was convenient to the JR bus lines so you can travel the city at no cost, if you have the the JR RailPass. Fantastic shopping is also a few blocks away.

Miinukset: The breakfast is a traditional Japanese breakfast so if this is your thing, this is perfect. If you haven’t quite evolved your tastebuds then you may leave a little hungry.

Plussat: Close to peace park and a-bomb-dome. Hiroshima castle also not far. The tramstation (for number 1) was right in front of the hotel. Staff were helpful.

Miinukset: Breakfast was average at best, coffee really not good. Parts of the room could have used a better cleaning (dust).

Plussat: Everything from the nice staff to the clean and modern feel of the hotel.

Plussat: Friendly staff. Great location. Attached restaurant was excellent with many options. And very affordable. Clean and modern.

Plussat: Location. The staff were very polite.

Miinukset: The cleanliness of the hotel room was very poor. My daughter looked under the bed. It was very dirty. We felt very uncomfortable staying there.

Plussat: Friendly open staff where you can have good talks with about what happened in the life of famlies during the last years. It was an interesting talk which gave us really something extra after an intens moment. Clean room on an excellent location.

Miinukset: Everything was okay for us.

Miinukset: It was dirty. Dirty walls, towels a greyish colour. I didn’t feel comfortable sleeping in the bed at all. Based on this stay I would never stay at other Daiwa Roynet hotel again.

Plussat: Great service, comfortable beds and very clean :)

Plussat: The voluntary upgrade made th stay more enjoyable. Being first time visitors to Japan we were not used to the restricted room sizes, and our over sized and not necessary suitcases with excessive provisions.

Miinukset: Location was handy to access entertainmen5 centre, and street cars and hop Off buses.

Plussat: Location, equipment and personnel are very nice. Overall very good quality/price ratio.

Miinukset: The breakfast can be better, starting with the restaurant. It seemed old. The bathroom needs some refreshing.

Plussat: It was in a great location and has a nice common space/kitchen area.

Plussat: The public space is very well designed. The bathroom is clean. The staff is also nice.

Miinukset: The quilt doesn't look very clean. Now there is only a single sheet but no cover. I think it would be better if the hotel could replace the single sheet by two-side cover.

Plussat: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great! Near the main sites, and with many restaurant options around.

Plussat: Located within walking distance to Peace Memorial Museum and Park, and the A-bomb dome, as well as shopping district. Close to public transportation. Clean.

Miinukset: Air conditioning was rather cold.

Plussat: Nice atmosphere and staff. Everything clean.

Plussat: The staff were very friendly and made checking in a very easy experience. The shower facilities are great.

Miinukset: I have stayed at this hostel many times, but this most recent time was not good. The door on the floor I stayed on is broken (it has been this way for a long time), and doesn't close. This means security is not good. While the bedding is comfortable, the top bunks' curtains are netted at the top, which let's all the light in. I couldn't sleep well as other guests kept turning the main room lights on during the night, and the electronic emergency exit sign was right by the bed I slept in. Since the hostel was very busy, other guests were perhaps the most annoying thing about it. Some other guests had very little awareness of how loud they were - one person was counting coins in their hands for about 20 minutes during the night! I know it's a hostel, and there's little the staff can do about things like that, but it makes me not want to return.
