The Knickerbocker Hotel

The location and view from the room were perfect. We could see the lights of Broadway. The hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We bid for an upgrade and had a room with two queen beds with views. This was perfect for Mother and Daughter. The bathroom was very lovely with two sinks, large walk in glass shower and rain shower head.

The staff was ever so helpful. Your bellman Min was especially helpful and friendly. He made us feel very valued as guests. Incredibly professional and personable. A true asset.

Room service was not the best , if they can improve that will be great

I was pleasantly pleased from the moment I walked in the front door and was greeted by the ever so friendly and helpful doorman Ming. I was surprised to have have my room prepped for bed when I came back after my evening adventure. I was amazed that my room was cleaned when I came back from a long morning walk. I came back at 11:30am. The room was lovely. The bed was more comfortable than any hotel bed I can recall. Black out blinds. I had an interior room and it was completely quiet from the Times Square noise. Room 1515. The bathroom was huge. Great shower. Giant bath towels. Robes. My room was always magically cleaned. Always fresh towels. Trash emptied.The roofdeck bar is gorgeous. Best I've seen in NYC. The bartenders on Saturday night were funny and attentive. I had some small dishes at the 4th floor bar. Yummy. Cheese and Strawberry Flatbread and a cauliflower gratin dish. I stayed 2 nights and Ming escorted me and my bags from coffee shop in hotel to taxi and hugged me goodbye. Really fantastic. I've stayed at many hotels in NYC. Some of my favorites are the Grand Hyatt The Evelyn Hotel Empire Hotel. All for various reasons. This is now my favorite and it will be hard to stay anywhere else. I can't wait to come back with my family next time.
