Miinukset: Beach is really not accessible, front desk not very friendly

Plussat: The feel of the hotel is awesome. It is cozy and very clean.

Miinukset: I did not the like the sheets. They were too thin and think a comforter would be better given the rooms are all air conditioned.

Plussat: Perfect location. Good service. Nice breakfast.

Plussat: We literally did not feel like leaving the hotel because it was so relaxing. Despite the hotel being quite full it never felt overcrowded. We really enjoyed the facilities. The bonus is the private access to the beach.

Plussat: Everything's OK! We'be been visited Cala del Pi a few times for years. Breakfast was as always actually exquisite. Me and my wife really appreciate politeness and kindness of the hotel staff. Looking forward to coming again to your exclusive hotel.

Plussat: Beautiful location, fantastic restaurant and we had a beautiful room.

Miinukset: Bathroom......common - those need an update. The toilet was located so close to the shower that you cant use it properly. And why do you have a bath with a shower and a separate showercabine in a room that is obviously not big enough for the two (hence the toilet issue). We did not expect so many really little kids in the hotel - so there was a lot of screaming and crying of babies and toddlers in the pool area (its ok, we just did not expect this).

Plussat: The bed was comfy and breakfast was fantastic. Location is great and parking meters were available in the area. Gym is nice and views of the sea was amazing. Spa facilities was a bonus!

Miinukset: Downside, nothing really but room should be equipped with a kettle and tea/coffee facility, but had none. Unusual for a 4-star.

Plussat: Everything

Plussat: It was a very pleasant stay at the Cosmopolita Hotel. I believe our choice was the best at Platja D'Aro. The location and the atmosphere of the hotel are great and it fits for couples that search for a romantic time or for some fun as well as for families. Our reception was very good and Vera, that spoke Portughese, granted us with an upgrade. Our room, with ocean view and a balcony, was clean, spacious and cosi. There was, also, a very welcome welcome cava. The staff is very helpful, specially Jana, that always had a smile to help us.

Plussat: The staff is nice and helpfu they helped us with every little thing we neededl. The hotel is a on the beach and 2 minutes walk from the Main Street.

Miinukset: Nothing. Everything was pefect.

Plussat: the Japanese restaurant was absolutely superb the staff were super helpful and friendly the room was luxurious modern and clean thoroughly enjoyed the whole atmosphere and set up great location great value for money

Plussat: Superb breakfast. Wonderful staff. First went to this hotel in 1964! The suite was beautiful. Loved it.

Miinukset: No lighter snacks available from bar eg toasties No kettle in Apartment but could boil pan of water for coffee/tea in morning so not a big problem.

Plussat: Great place to stay with a family. Very close to town and beaches but still feels very private and safe. Staff was very friendly and professional. Will probably come back in the future

Plussat: Very cozy place with an amazing view from the terrace. It’s just a few steps away from the beach. Excellent breakfast with a wide range of food and view over the seaside. Very friendly stuff. Hotel room was very clean and cozy with a big bathroom. So nothing to add. We definitely come back!

Plussat: Totally beautiful hotel, the location is stunning, gorgeous rooms, lovely hotel bar and delicious food, staff are so helpful and friendly, plus it’s dog friendly.

Miinukset: The hotel was not what I expected. I’d say it’s more like a two star. Not much luxury. Very crowded. A bit run down and no service. The area was not pretty either, but the beach seemed okay. Say further north if you can. We left early even though we already paid. We found a much better location and place.

Plussat: Beautiful spot to enjoy the stunning Costa Brava. We will be back, soon!

Plussat: It is a perfect hotel for a stay in Costa Brava! Friendly staff, very nice hotel close to the city centre, great breakfast, lovely evening entertainment program, interesting beach!

Plussat: I am vegan so I was really impressed with the vegan options at breakfast. Hotel is in a great location and for the price, is really clean and comfortable - really grate value and feels really cosy.

Plussat: This hotel was cute, comfortable and extremely affordable. In addition, you get a decent breakfast with healthy options. I definitely got way more than what I paid. I would stay here again.

Plussat: Really nice decorated hotel. Details, colours, all very thoughtfull done. Smart, multilingual, very helpfull frontdesk staff, bed and bath comfortable.

Miinukset: First floor room noisy, staff helped me moving to groundfloor.

Plussat: Great hotel located on the quiet street. Stuff is super friendly and ready to help. Hotel provides with free sun umbrellas gives bicycles for rent. Has nice restaurant with fair prices.

Plussat: Fantastic location, 100m from the beach and 200m from the city center but in a very quiet neighborhood. Very friendly staff, always smiling and willing to help you. I felt very comfortable about my car that was parked in the protected and covered parking and about my bikes in the locked bike room. Breakfast was very varied, extensive and healthy. Local restaurant is recommended. We look forward to come back !

Miinukset: The shower and bathroom sink were inside the room itself. No seperate room for the shower in a 3 person room, ridiculuce.

Plussat: Nice Hiking coastal routes... to the left and right of the hotel. I was close by to a nice supermarket.

Miinukset: No transport available is travelling solo.. One would need to hire a private car. Arrived at S Agaro.. wheeling my suitcase at nighttime for over an hour. Restaurant staff not smiley .. my dessert costed 7.50eur approx but bill also showed 45.50eur vat. The Staff thought I should pay.. terrible time .. I had to fight my corner to highlight the VAt amount is a Typo. Breakfast food displays.. restricted... no porridge...pancakes.. not the usual spread that one would expect. Checkout - day- The money before arriving left my account. But lady advised me that the money will be returned to you and if you can pop your card in and pay.. When walking way from Hotel.. payment was taken twice from my accounts. so after several calls with hotel - 5 days later the money was refunded. Not an ideal situation if other Guests if money is tight. Checkout day- no transport available... the Lady behind the counter kept on laughing at this. I was panicking how will I get home, get my flight etc. The Lady wasn't too pronto about finding other plans. I had to beg for a hotel worker to drive me to the next town for me to catch a bus to the Girona City ...then to airport. When I got home I regretted going on this trip and my 1st and last day were very stressful. No apologies from the hotel at all. I did email booking.com about this but no reply.

Miinukset: Off peak season so very quiet therefore most places was closed.

Plussat: This is an amazing Boutique Hotel with very friendly staff who go that extra mile to ensure guests have a memorable break in Tossa de Mar. The property is sparkling clean and very inviting, highly recommended.

Plussat: Staff were amazing and so friendly. Everywhere was sparkling clean. Breakfast was really nice with hot and cold options (and free wine). Pool was small but not overcrowded. Beach was seconds away, main shopping street a couple of minutes walk so overall location was amazing.

Miinukset: Rooms were very noisy due to tiled floors and water thin walls. No English tv channels other than CBN news.

Plussat: Friendly staff, clean room and comfortable beds. The hotel is located right next to the beach and 100m from the shopping street. Requested a car parking space which was about 3 mins walk away. Breakfast was also good, all basics, tea, coffee, juices, pastries, cold cuts and fruits were available. We also loved the design of the hotel.

Miinukset: Maybe a small fridge in the room would be a good addition.

Plussat: Common areas such as the lobby, restaurant and outdoor area were extra stylish and seemed to have been renovated recently. Staff was quite helpful and polite, they did everything to satisfy our needs. Breakfast was delicious.

Miinukset: Unfortunately, the rooms are still old and need to be renovated as soon as possible. A small fridge in the room would be useful too.

Plussat: Location excellent, staff friendly, very helpful and had good English and great recommendation for a restaurant for dinner. Was also great to be able to book a hotel car parking space. Very good breakfast.

Plussat: So great for the value. It is a nice property and communal spaces were great. Staff was so kind and really helpful! Amazing location.

Miinukset: Slept well, but rooms still felt a tiny bit humid (99% humidity when we were there). The room was basic and could use a few nice decorations (photos or maps) to make it cozier but the rest of the place is so great that it makes up for that!

Plussat: Location is great, 50 m from beach and very close to the main road with restaurants. This makes it a great choice. I would recommend more for couples. This is more a kind of boutiqe hotel to relax than party. Which is very good. Close to everywhere and quite at the same time.

Miinukset: This is old hotel, so rooms are small and you can hear people behind the walls. So if you get family with small kids next room can be a bit noisy. Good that hotel does not organise parties. We were there in high season so it was a bit pricy, but the stay was great. Pool is small, but mainly we stayed at the beach. Next time I would choose Platja D'Aro but probably would look for another hotel. I prefer to have a free space and can walk to the beach rather than be in the center. But don't get me wrong, we had a great time and owners look after you well.

Plussat: It is a big complex with a lot of facilities: outdoor/indoor pool, billiard, air hockey, small square. It is like a small village. Next to it there is a gold camp. Great sunsets from there and very friendly staff!

Miinukset: The rooms are quite old, it has a rustic style, but it needs a bit renovation, shower cabin is quite old.

Plussat: The location is nice.

Miinukset: The kitchen is very poor. The refrigerator make a lot of noise. It's irritating.There is no oven or magnetron.

Plussat: It was our second staying in Mas Nou. The location and the views to mountains are amazing. The entertainment shows were quite interesting as well(we were on cooking and dance shows). The pool and sunbeds were clean and in very good condition

Miinukset: The room's equipment was far from perfect, Not fully suits for families for long staying in the summer period. No microwave In the small kitchen. No washing machine - after beach you have to wash family clothes by hands unless you prepared a lot of it for your vacation, No airco. You are staying in the golden cage, can't take even small walk on the beautiful fields- the fences and stop signs everywhere. You have to pay for the garage not a symbolic price, my previous staying the parking was free of charge.

Plussat: Excellent location. Kitchen equipment was great, there was absolutely everything you need for holiday staying.

Plussat: Great location for outdoor activities: mountain biking, road cycling, walking and of course golf! Pool is a winner and the elevation makes for great sun rises and sun sets. Kids can play and explore in a safe environment.

Miinukset: In the hot months - maybe some fans could be provided. Air conditioning in expensive and health and environmental contentious so not expected but a little draft on those still nights would help!

Plussat: Place is amazing,vews was adorable!!! This is very calm and pretty place !

Miinukset: The floors in the apartments was not clean,I asked to clean it,but the cleaner put water on the floor and beginning to clean it like deck....

Plussat: Superb location, views, silence. Great design of the whole resort. Gardeners taking care of the flowers each day. Pretty nice pool, a lot of activities for kids (painting, water games, fitness activities, lots of board games, billard, mini golf, etc. etc.) and also for adults. Well equipped supermarket opened daily in the resort (has a wide selection of Nespresso capsules, wine, bread, etc.) Tasty food in the restaurant. Spacious rooms and balcony. Nespresso machine in the apartment. Fast internet connection. It's only 15 minutes to the nice beach Plaja d'Aro by car. Very quiet neighbors even in the high season. Ps. Washing machines are available for extra cost (3,50 Euro/laundry).

Miinukset: Parking (4 Euro / day) obligatory, even though there is no alternative. Therefore it should be included in the price of the apartment. Animations for kids are available mainly in German language. Towels and cleaning done only after 9 days of stay. The resort should consider to shorten this time to 3-4 days.
