Rosewood Mayakoba

We were celebrating our honeymoon, our plan was to stay in Playa del Carmen (Rosewood) for 5 nights and then in Tulum for the next 5 nights. The Rosewood Mayakoba was so great we ended up leaving Tulum after the first night there and coming back to the Rosewood where we spent 9 night out of 10. The staff is genuinely happy to be there, everyone is so welcoming and helpful, you just don't want to leave this place. Truly felt like our home away from home.

The tours were overpriced, we ended up booking tours directly without going through the hotel.

We wish the food was less experimental, fusión, gourmet, and more tradicional.

The Rosewood Mayakoba is quite possibly one of the finest resorts I’ve ever experienced around the world. The staff is hospitable and accommodating and the luxury, pampering experience can best be described as other-worldly. Each guest is treated like they are old friends of the staff and every detail is catered to hand and foot. There is no request that can be made and not achieved. I plan on visiting this location from this point forward for many years to come.
