Miinukset: "It was a struggle to get our hotel from the turkish hotel desk crew. We were travelling from Cape Town to Toronto with a little baby and had a layover of approx 10 hours at Istanbul. They claimed that our layover was 9 hr 40 mins (and not 10 hours) and I had to argue before we finally got a transit hotel. Their customer service is poor."

Plussat: "Turkish had several flights departing close In time and they only had three agents at the check in counter, makin* the process painful at 4:30am. After on hour in line only about 10 passenger seat were checked in. By th way all the security screening procedures ran very smooth and quick, it was Turkish procesdures and man powe4 that was poor. Boarding the airplanes was chaos, both in Tel Aviv and Istanbul."

We also received care bags with lip balm, socks, slippers and a night mask as well as a toothbrush and toothpaste. The flight did not seem like 12 hours. Thankfully."

And the manager told us if we didn't check-in online, they wouldn't have let us board our flight. The seats were cramped, the food is way worse than it was before. I doubt that we will fly with Turkish Airlines ever again."

The airplane, an Airbus 300, was new and comfortable."
Miinukset: "The boarding process at Istanbul was a bit chaotic but the flight left on time. I guess the airport personnel knew what they were doing. Istanbul airport is big and modern. There a lot of nice shops, including Duty Free. One annoying thing was the large number of airport employees using these motorized transports, I.e. wheelchairs, bipeds, tricycles, etc, going at high speed. If you don't get out of their way they will run you over!"

Every time that I have flown from Istanbul to Almaty, the plane is hot and people are sweating. This time I asked for the temperature to be adjusted, and after about 4 times, I finally felt a bit better - but still not comfortable. I don't know if this is a malfunction, or an opportunity to save money?"

Miinukset: "They always change the gates, also too many disorders in the gate previous the boarding process, the process it is not clean. They took hand baggage aleatory to send to down and do not ask if we have fragile stuffs there."

Plussat: "The seats were spacious and the crew was wonderful. The crew actually made the long flight more tolerable. Will seek out Delta/Air France for further international flights."

Miinukset: "Boarding (by bus) was a total chaos. I had to stand for about 50 minutes, either on the crowded bus or, after climbing with great difficulty three flights of stairs to a high jet-bridge (I am 76), standing there forever with 200 persons waiting to get access to the plane. Totally unacceptable. They started the boarding process early (50 minutes before departure), but passengers were allowed to actually board the plane at the time it was supposed to take off."

Miinukset: "My boyfriend and I were required to gate check our carry-on luggage which required us to go through customs in Paris to get to our bag and re-enter security for our connecting international flight. I am unsure why this was the case as other passengers brought the same size luggage. Very upsetting."

This was a great inconvenience for us. Never again on Air Canada. I suggest you explore the baggage process used by Delta."

Miinukset: "Entertainment screen did not work; in neighboring seat it could not be switched off when we wanted to sleep; sourly employees everywhere (re-booking counter an exception); food close not being edible and cold; I forgot my watch on when going through security in the Air France terminal; when I started to say "sorry" I was yelled at by the screener who said that she will do the talking; she sent me back through the scanner twice without my watch, then once more with the carry-on and made sure that I went to the end of a very long line to wait for another screening rather than having me just go through the scanner without my watch. Needless to say, there was nothing else suspicious about me once the watch was removed. Eager to exercise her power, the security person did not seem to consider that she slowed down a long line of people waiting to be screened. I should add that I am 73 yrs old grey haired female who has traveled a lot both for pleasure and business during my entire life, often to some difficult places and that I do not argue with or provoke those in power in a situation like this. The yelling and the sending me repeatedly through the scanner, which did not beep once the watch was removed, was beyond anything I had experienced anywhere else. The sending me to the very end of the line seemed outright spiteful. (I did miss the plane connection.)"

Only to be told at the departure time that there was a problem with the baggage hold and we were delayed. In total 50 minutes late leaving. Breakfast a simple brioche with nothing to add to it."

Miinukset: "Canceled flight—absolutely no notification. Convoluted rebooking in whcuhbhey lies to us about what flights we were actually on. Spent a couple hours at Delta rebooking our trip. Lost prepaid night at hotel and dinner eaecatuon plus day of vacation."

Miinukset: "We paid for Business Class from JFK to TLV. The flight to Tel Aviv was in a small plane with 3 across seats that hardly reclined. We are most unhappy and will complain to American Express Platinum Card."

Miinukset: "Another Air France company, with their motto: We Don't Care. Ground staff was rude, no good food onboard and have to pay for it. Entertainment is your device, but you can't download the app to use it."

Miinukset: "At one point during the flight I took a video out of my window with my camera, a member of the cabin crew barked at me in French. In bewilderment I asked her in English to repeat herself and she sarcastically repeated what she had said, in French, I asked for her to speak in English (which she had done to me previously on this Paris to London flight) yet again she scolded me in French. I was left absolutely none the wiser and it left a bad taste in my mouth."

Miinukset: "boarding in Riyadh is always a nightmare. and as many have noted, the seats are too close for the average size of many boarding in Riyadh"

Miinukset: "One of the engine was smoking just as we took off. This should have been checked beforehand that it was working correctly. The pilot missed the first landing, was going too fast and had to turn around. We circled the London eye 3 times. When we were actually landing it was extremely bumpy and on the way down the plane was tilting back and forth a lot. They were going too fast when we landed as well, I have never been in a plane that has landed so poorly, and I have travelled a lot and used many different airlines. It was worse than any budget airline I've been on. As we were driving back to the terminal, the pilot stopped short for some reason. Things were not explained clearly. I will not be flying with airfrance again and will be sure to spread the word of this awful experience."

Miinukset: "We went to Gatwick(75.00 Uber) to reschedule in person and we were told there were no refunds and if we wanted to change it would be 250 pounds. It is my wife’s and my 35 year anniversary and this wants a mood dampener"

Miinukset: "I paid $123 for the flight and than I was profiled by the attended and forced to pay $85 to check in my carry on as a baggage. My carry on fit in the display model, it was 1/2 inch showing because of the handle and I was forced to pay an extra $85! Almost as much as my flight costed. When I was boarding the plane I saw several people with carry on baggage that were wider and longer than mine. I will never fly thru British Airways or book thru Kayak.com again. When I get back to my country I will file every complaint I can thru google and social media. I never felt so disrespected and ripped off!"

Plussat: "The Heathrow terminal, Amazing. Why does everyone in window seats keep all the window shades closed -- throughout the entire flight? It was daylight and beautiful outside. Are they all vampires? Why did my overhead light shine on the seat next to mine? Never mind... the flight was fine. Nothing to shout about, except for what I wrote in the next "What I didn't like" box...."
Miinukset: "I was assigned a window seat. I asked an agent if I could get an isle seat because I am a little claustrophobic. She said yes, and gave me 24D. Great, but I was annoyed and upset that she did not warn me that it was a front seat, with now place to put my personal bag. The wife of the guy next to me was 10 seats away, so I found an isle seat at the back of the aircraft and moved, so she could be with her husband. It all worked out okay, but the agent should have been more informative and have offered the option of that rear seat. It's not nice to be sneaky."

Miinukset: "2 hour delay because they said they didn't have the equipment to back the plane out of the maintenance hanger. Really? - at one of the big airports of Europe, they didn't have a tug vehicle."

Plussat: "I loved the side compartment next to my seat in the upper deck of the airbus. This was an amazing airplane to fly in and I hope someday to afford the opportunity to experience First class. The cabin crew was very attentive and our attendant, in particular, was helpful. He made sure that we had our special meal and the whole staff was very attentive."

Plussat: "Not much - the entertainment choices were good and the flight was safe and smooth. Plus my bag turned up from Helsinki, Heathrow, Singapore, sydney"
Miinukset: "The biz class seats on BA are just horrible. The biz class service - BA aren’t even trying to match other airlines. A stingy snenities kit and a blanket doesn’t come close to qantas or emerites. The food is an embarrassment - microwave dinners over heated is a a generous description. Crew do as little as possible (they don’t want to be they’ve either)"

Plussat: "The crew and entertainment was great on this flight! Other than that, it is kind of hard to find positives."
Miinukset: "We were delayed by 30 minutes for whatever reason and then we were trapped in the air for 11 hours in tiny seats. The seat wasn't very comfortable and I didn't have much room to sit and for my legs. I had a stupid box under the seat in front of me with airplane stuff in it I guess, so that took up some room under the seat in front of me. I had my legs stretched in the aisle most of the flight. The food wasn't great, but what airline food is good? I was really expecting this aircraft to be like the Dream Liner, but overall it was just a big tin can in the sky."

Miinukset: "The flight was delayed for almost an hour after boarding which isn't the end of the world but to sit on the plane is worst than waiting for it. They had one disabled customer who screamed all night and to be honest, again, not much you can do about it but it kept everyone awake on an overnight flight. Would've been nice if they had handled the customer."

Miinukset: "The woman who worked the British Airways desk in Helsinki and checked our bags is not suited for a customer service position. The screens on the British Airways long haul planes are tiny and difficult to operate. A 2,5 h flight where you can't even get water complimentary is appalling. Honestly all of your competitors offer a snack and beverages complimentary even if the flight is only 45 min. The boarding for London to Dallas flight was very confusing and could have been made easier with grouping the boarding instead of tons of people piling up to rush in at once."

Miinukset: "Seats are ridiculously small! I'm only 5'11" and could barely fit. I can't imagine what it's like for a taller man. It's also the first time I ever broke into a sweat on a flight. There are no overhead vents! Complaints to the staff were met with a surly reply that nothing could be done. Food was inedible. Movies were ok but they put the box for the equipment under the seat in front of you! What little space we have for our feet is now taken up by the entertainment equipment!! I've had much better experiences on discount regional airlines than on this trans-Atlantic "premium" carrier."

Miinukset: "Iberia airlines, operating for BA, refused to honor the tickets we had bought via Airfare .com. Would not let me fly!!!!!!! After several hours they found a way to put us on a later flight--got in late, had to stay overnight in Orlando. Don't understand!!!! Wife and I are in 70's--spent 22 hours trying to get home!!!"

Miinukset: "crew told my husband the flight was too full and asked if he would leave it with her and he would get it after the flight. She ended up checking it and told him he had to get it in baggage claim. This flight was already 1.5 hours delayed and we had a connecting flight from London to US that left in 30 minutes. We were not able to go to baggage claim to get the luggage. We then found out she never tagged it and they had no way of linking it with him."

Plussat: "The flight was not very full, so we could spread out. Normally I really like British Airways, but the lack of AC was difficult."
Miinukset: "The air conditioning did not work and it was very warm, 77 degrees at least, the whole flight. It made it very uncomfortable. They said something was broken."

Plussat: "Not much"
Miinukset: "1. BA said I couldn't get a seat before 24 hrs before. Then when I tried to get a seat assignment I was told (by email) to contact Aer Lingus. Aer Lingus said that I should have called before 24 hrs before, and that seats were now in control of the gate (this still 22 hrs before flight time). Total lack of coordination. 2. At check-in I was first told that my bag was too big for carry-on, although BA had accepted it. I shrunk it down. Then I was told it weighed too much at 15 kg. When I asked why BA accepted the weight I was told BA's weight limit was different. 3. Net net, if BA is "arranging" the flight through a code-share it should have responsibility for insuring I am treated like a BA customer. Aer Lingus' customer treatment leads much to be desired."

Plussat: "Nice new airplane with good seat design and quiet and confortable in flight. AA crew was nice and entertainment was OK."

Miinukset: "The entertainment system did not work and could not be switched off. This issue could only be solved by the crew placing blankets over the screens. This happened both in my seat and my wife’s seat. I don’t think this is acceptable for very expensive business class tickets."

We honestly thought the flight would end up being cancelled and we would have to find somewhere to stay that night. They ended up finding another plane an hour and a half later and our gate was changed four times during our wait."

Plussat: "There is no built in entertainment system. Download the app on your phone to be able to watch movies in flight."

Miinukset: "Spacing between seats continues to be a problem especially for disabled clients. Because I was travelling alone, I was asked if I would move to accommodate someone with a pet carrier that would not fit under the seat they were in. I declined but wondered how they were allowed to board with an oversized case. Also seemed strange to ask a disabled passenger to move."

Plussat: "Take off and landing smooth and relatively smooth in between."
Miinukset: "6 hour flight no food included. Came by twice for beverages. No entertainment. Probably the first time in 10 years I've been on a flight without any screens for entertainment. Goes without saying, no USB plug in."

Plussat: "When the flight was cancelled due to mechanical issues my flights from Victoria to Cancun was rerouted through Toronto with free hotel where my brother and I shared a bottle of wine at Air Canada's expense..."

Plussat: "Being the first passengers to exit the cabin after a 5 and a half hour flight is definitely a perk, as well as getting one's luggage (a priority tag is attached to them) immediately upon getting to the carousel, an other. Leg room and more space is also great."

He brushed her off saying that they turned up the temperature. What, 0.1 degree? This is the only night flight I've ever been on where they didn't distribute blankets. It was a miserable night."

Plussat: "On time. Clean plane"
Miinukset: "Miscommunication with luggage No food included but at extra cost No entertaining at all! Only through wifi in your own device and you have to download an app BEFORE boarding for it to work but yet, no one tells you"

Plussat: "Prompt, efficient and friendly."

Miinukset: "I tried to call your airlines to reserve a spot for humanitarian supplies. I run a rescue for dogs in Cancun. I could never get through to anyone and there is no info on your tickets about the cost of a third bag. I was charged an extra $500.00 for two extra bags that were carrying donated supplies to help the animals. But your airline made it a useless endeavor because they ended up costing more than they were worth. The people at the gate were unbending and I'm so disappointed that it is more important to you to make money than help non-profit organizations. I have run Isla Animals for 15 years and have had much help from kind airlines, I won't be flying yours or recommending yours to any dog lovers."

Plussat: "Plane left on time, smooth flight, arrived on schedule."
Miinukset: "1. Food very substandard. Hot food not very well prepared and rather tasteless, and snack was like a cardboard wrap with some salsa sauce in it. A disgrace to a major airline like Air Canada. Selection of drinks very limited. 2, Staff persisted in speaking mostly French, on an international flight. Some announcements were made only in French. As a Canadian, I can follow French, but let us remember that English is the international language. To use French is not fair to other nationalities, who expect English. 3. Seats far too close together for a long flight. There was more legroom on the Jazz flight from Montreal to Ottawa! 4. Entertainment kept breaking down. Headphones for my wife did not work, and eventually both of our screens went dead. Her's quit right in the middle of a movie. Bad!! 5. Boarding passes had zones on them, but these were totally disregarded in boarding. This resulted on overcrowding, long waits, etc. Hard on older people!"

Plussat: "I had a five year old and an eleven year old traveling with me and was able to board early and get them settled before everyone else got on."
Miinukset: "We didn't see much of the flight attendants and my grandson became ill. We could have used more water throughout the flight as that may have prevented him from getting sick."

Miinukset: "The food for purchase was very overpriced. The in-flight movies didn't have captions. My earphone jack was slightly broken."

Miinukset: "Delayed 2h"

Miinukset: "Captain's announcements were inaudible from the wing seats. Seats very cramped - I'm only 5 feet tall and barely had room for my legs. Also, unable to see safety demonstration as the seat backs were too tall for a short person to see anything but the back of the seat in front of me."

Plussat: "There was a meal... But it was served hours after take off, which was delayed."
Miinukset: "Old plane, showing its age. No seat back entertainment (just streaming) which wasn't on the whole time. But since there were limited outlets for power, which didn't work the entire flight, it was difficult to use. Very warm, no individual air. Reading lights not pointed at the right seats and very easy to turn on accidentally. Beverage service only at meals, which was served half cups so dehydrating. A couple washrooms were out of service, so always crowded. Aside from the meal, which was fine, and the package "breakfast" (a piece of banana bread) felt like a very discount domestic flight."

Plussat: "We were safe."
Miinukset: "Big problems with frequent flyer miles. After a number of hours into the effort I am told my miles won't count. For the average airline it takes about 30 seconds to join the frequent flyer club. Air Canada now is my last choice for long flights. Ok maybe before Frontier."

Plussat: "Nothing!"
Miinukset: "Nothing, everything was bad. Flight were late and service was really bad. I will never fly Air Canada again!"

Plussat: "It was a short flight but smooth and on time."

Miinukset: "Again flight delayed 4+ hours yet no email notifications whatsover"

Miinukset: "Late!"

Miinukset: "Was not told a transit visa was necessary to fly through Canada. Denied boarding in Nairobi on way over and had to book on another airline."

Miinukset: "We waited nearly two hours AFTER WE BOARDED THE PLANE for a flat tire to be changed, or so we were told. In typical airline fashion, we were told several times that the delay would probably take about 15 minutes, turning into nearly 2 hours. In combination with the change I described above and the 9.5 hour flight to Tokyo, we were completely done in for 2-3 days after we got to Tokyo."

Plussat: "The flight was one of the more uncomfortable flights I've taken across the Atlantic, and I fly multiple times per year. The flight attendents were nasty, sarcastic, and unkind. I heard them bickering between themselves throughout the flight, which was very uncomfortable to hear as a passenger. The kosher food was barely edible. The seats were small and uncomfortable. I am under 5'5" and on the small side, and I could barely fit in my seat. I will think twice before flying Air Canada again, and I will tell other people about my experience."

Plussat: "The movie selection...and that is about it really..."
Miinukset: "The fact that they tried bumping me from my flight without giving a reason. My connector flight (also an Air Canada flight) was delayed so much in Detroit that we got to Toronto with just enough time to board and deal with the bumping issue. Also, my luggage was already on the plane to head to London which noone was worried about if they wouldn't have been able to get me a seat. There was little communication between staff members and nobody seemed bothered by this especially with a late arriving plane that they should have known about and had a way to deal with this issue. The crew on the plan keep bumping into me even though I wasn't in the aisle and never apologized. Totally would give a zero or 1 star (at best if it would let me). Totally will not recommend to anyone and will try to not fly with them again if possible."
