Plussat: It was clean

Miinukset: They gave me a hard time about my service dog (who is not a pet)!

Miinukset: Didn't like the location. No catering facilities in hotel. No phone in room so couldn't contact my travelling companion easily. Bunched up carpet which could have caused an accident.

Plussat: The room was clean, check-in was easy and friendly. There was free parking and near lots of Asian restaurants.

Miinukset: Light fixture was broken, floor tile was loose, and room had a bit of a smell.

Plussat: The room was very spacious. If you’re seeing something in the area then it’s perfect. However, for a solo traveller being so far away from Downtown Vancouver was not ideal. The lady on reception each day was extremely helpful! She was polite, pleasant and made an effort to make conversation, this didn’t go unnoticed and feel this deserves recognition!

Miinukset: On arrival I found out there was no lift in the hotel. Which is fair enough, however the male staff member on the desk watched me lunge my 25kilo suitcase up the stairs by myself - with not even so much as an offer to help. Being a small female and on my own, I found this extremely rude! Vancouver is extremely expensive- however knowing this, I feel this hotel price paid does not reflect the standard of the room or the Hotel. Wasn’t keen on the area , being a young female and on your own, just wasn’t sure of the surroundings. I should have done more research into the property and the area itself.

Plussat: Nothing , very scary

Miinukset: Old and dirty, deadbolt was broken, no chain on door, felt unsafe, inside was old and dirty and there was a light socket in ceiling with a cloth shoved in it, I was truly afraid for bed bugs and slept with a knife as it was myself and daughter only. I wanted a refund for which they refused. It was a horrible experience

Plussat: Staff was really nice. Walking distance to public transport (SkyTrain or bus).

Miinukset: Carpets in the room looked really old and dirty and should be either washed or replaced with new.

Plussat: Bed was OK.

Miinukset: Bathroom wasn't very clean. TV didn't work. Parking is too tight.

Plussat: I liked the size of the room.

Miinukset: Room size was big but the lay out wasnt good or useful. The carpets are disgusting , definitely in need of new carpets. The beds are clearly old, very lump and springy and loud. Get better coffee

Miinukset: Weird smell & a very outdated room. Carpet was coming off the floors & insects on bathroom floor.

Plussat: Overall good except cleaning

Miinukset: Room makeup not upto the mark

Plussat: I admit it. I went there to feel what the actors of xfiles felt. And sure it was 20 years ago and sure the property is old and you all know that before. But i find many reviews not fair. You know that before. That said the property is nice. Pretty clean at least my room was. Staff is very kind and polite and helpful and you can park your car at no extra charge in front of your door. Is pretty cheap compared to city prices. And like they advertise is to live the experience of a 50s motel. Therefore if you want ac or modern staff you are picking the wrong choice. You love a route 66 style travel go there for sure

Miinukset: Clean better just the bathrobes.

Plussat: Location was on a main road, so access was easy. Free parking infront of the room was great. 24 h open restaurant nearby.

Miinukset: This hotel was filthy. The bed had used sheets on it, so we tried resting on top of the covers with our cloths on. The carpet had lots of stains. The room smelled of old cigarette smoke and something undefinable. The shower was very dirty, there was mold on the shower curtain and between the tiles. The shower knobs had parts missing. The sink, was dirty and small, the water sprayed everywhere. The water tap kept dripping all the time.

Plussat: Parking the benches outside

Miinukset: A terrible beds no,heat or a/c dont dare to go there on summers or witers

Plussat: Not much to say. They had a good location.

Miinukset: I did not appreciate having to wait an hour past check in time because they had to "clean the room". There was rodent feces all over the beds, pillows, dressers, chairs. Then they claimed I was a "no show". I really did not like all the lies!

Plussat: The property is dated and needs to be upgraded badly The main door of the room didn’t work, really hard to open or close.

Miinukset: The room is hot without AC. The mate didn’t come to clean or make the room during my 3 days stay. I called and talked to the staff in person 3 times and no one showed up to clean the room. They said they would send someone but no one showed up. One of the front desk staff was rude and disrespectful. Their customer service is very poor. When I first checked in even they kept $200 deposit already but the staff verbally informed me if I stain the sheet or bed I would have to pay for it! Seriously? Did he have to say that I’m an adult not a kid to be told how to keep it clean.. My friends who gave me a ride to the hotel at check in were doubt that they would stay there for free. The front desk guy asked me if I wanted to upgrade my room to 2 beds to fit them? He said he would pay attention and charge them if they stay over?! Really? I had never experienced this before in my life! This motel is not recommended. No safe box no AC, the room was like an oven at night!

Plussat: Nothing

Miinukset: The guy who checked us in and the rooms that look like meth heads live in

Plussat: the room was very small which didn't bother us, there was no fridge or air conditioner the shower was moldy we refused to use it. The bed was uncomfortable in the middle of the night I woke up scratching from being eaten alive by bedbugs we refused to spend another night and walked away from our none refundable deposit

Miinukset: no bedbugs air conditioning a bigger tv and a comfortable bed

Plussat: The stay was as comfortable as home slept like a baby.

Plussat: It was a nice two night get away.

Miinukset: I haven't received my deposit refunded to my credit card ???

Plussat: Check was quick and easy did give us some directions to a nice restaurant Room was nice and clean fresh paint in room nice area for walking around

Miinukset: It was a little outdated but clean a burn hole in the chair and paint peeling in the bathroom Also it was our 1st anniversary and I thought maybe the could have said something as I did tell them

Plussat: Was dirty. Bed unmade. Grim in the showers. Y’all I’m not picky but damn... this place was scary haha. I asked for a extra blanket and they said I guess.. if we can find one. Like what?!
