Grand Muthu Forte do Vale

Didn’t like the fact our room was on the ground floor overlooking pool although we had requested a high floor. They couldn’t change our room as they were full.

The staff where really friendly and helpful. The rooms where nice. The location is really good.

The food was bad. I actually found a stone in my food and the chef didn't even bother to remove the rest of the dish from the buffet. The food was almost the same everyday and there wasn't enough to choose from. There was no freshly cooked items by a chef which most hotels have. Especially 5 star. Someone cut there foot on glass at the bottom of the pool. There is a lot of debris and I was told I could not where flip-flops to protect my feet. the pull out bed was not really a pull out bed it was just a mattress that goes on the floor. This was not good for my back! The balcony was just facing a roundabout so always cars going past and no real view The entertainment was not good for a 5 star hotel

Gym equipment/exercise machines were in poor condition and quality.
