The location is great, caught cable car to Wharf and then to Golden Gate Theater. Views are amazing, everything is super close.
The building is older and outside noises and wind noise was really disturbing.

Loved the history, size of the hotel, and location
Felt a little dated. Teeny, tiny bathroom. You have to straddle the toilet to open and close the bathroom door.

location at top of hill is nice but hard to get to walking
There is really no reason to pay to stay here Its the top of the hill and the walk from no matter where you are is horrible The rooms are severely outdated, with patches in the walls, ceilings, markings all of the walls Bathroom is extremely small, carpets are old this is a $100-$150/night hotel Max. Dont fall foolish over where its located and the history
