Plussat: The room was spacious and clean. Hotel is located close to the town. The facilities were quite nice, there was always some food available outside the main meal times as well. The food was decent, nothing extraordinary but quite nice for a buffet.

Miinukset: The sunbeds and shades at the neagh were not enough. Everybody was leaving their towels only to come back hours later and we couldn't get a shade especially on the weekend. Staff isn't able to do anything to help, they neither remove the towels left nor add extra shade. We had to leave the beach because of that. It is allowed to smoke anywhere open space. I appreciate it is open space in theory but when it is the table right behind you or sunbed right next to you, it gets pretty bad. I was also pregnant when I was there so not ideal at all. Smoking areas within the restaurant, beach and pool areas would be more respectable to anyone who doesn't smoke.

Plussat: Very good position near the sea, best is the morna beach club

Miinukset: more italian food for the breakfast like Nutella or more brioches and cake

Plussat: Clean room and air con work well

Miinukset: Never a 5 star hotel. Communal areas like reception not cooled and flys everywhere. In the bars everything was washed quickly by hand not very hygienic at all.

Plussat: Great rooms. Contemporary. Clean. Friendly reception and entertainment staff. Great location. Good food.

Miinukset: Hotel at capacity this February. Not enough sun loungers, nor space for those in place. Queues for drinks as staff overwhelmed by demand. Dining areas very busy and cramped. Food good, but hard to enjoy it in a noisy dining room with constant traffic squeezing past tables.

Plussat: Fantastic hotel!!! Very beautifully designed building, lovely spotless room with balcony and comfortable beds, 2 nice pools. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet has a good variety and the ocean views in the restaurant are priceless. Absolutely loved it and can only recommend to stay here if your budget allows it!

Plussat: I liked everything. The food was excellent , the staf fantastic and location of hotel , very central and pleased, I will return again and i will take family and friens to enjoy this amazing place, so piecefully and with so good people. I love it.

Plussat: Amazing location and excellent staff. Everybody is very polite and helpful. I loved the swimming pool, the beach bar and the hotel restaurant. The bedrooms are spacious and have a little terrace.

Plussat: Elegant room,cleaning every day, restaurant with the view on sea,pool very nice. Also took the massage in the spa-very good and relaxing.

Plussat: The staff was amazing. The waiters, the receptionists. The access to the city were very easy you can walk along side the beach or go by taxi. The view and the facilities were amazing. The live music every night excellent. We had such amazing time during our stay.

Miinukset: At the end of our stay one of the guests during the night was smoking in the room and the general alarm went off. All guests were awake due this incident. As our room was accessible on our last night when I arrived the room one of the alarms was off and when the maintenance went to see what was the issue I was informed the alarm was activated due my perfume. Note that before I went inside the stateroom attendant went to our room for the evening service.

Plussat: Great breakfast, great location and facilities. One of the best beds I've slept in a while. The rooms are lovely and has everything you need. Was very impressed by the quality of the Internet service, specially in Cape Verde. Staff from the pool bar are just great!

Miinukset: Very poor attention to detail and very inconsistent staff, some are great some are just terrible. The worst in my opinion is the front desk. Badmouthing clients in Cape Verdian creole....unlucky for them I understand and speak Creole. Very very bad attitude, almost like they are not working in hospitality in one of the top chains in the world. Complementary items in the room were almost never restocked and every time I would ask for them to be restocked they would say that they would do it but 90% of the times I would have to go and look for someone from staff to get these. The Bounty restaurant is terrible during the day and great at night, not the chefs (those are always great), but the staff. This was my first and last stay in Hilton, the price is just not worth it.

Plussat: Very good breakfast, a lot of options! Private zone in the beach. Staff super kind and helpful.

Miinukset: The blinders in the bedroom block a lot of light, but there was still some coming from the top. No vegan options in their menu.

Miinukset: - The hotel was good but staff was disorganized, we had a lot of troubles with payment, AMEX wasn't accepted and MASTERCARD didn't work. - Fire alarm rang 5 TIMES in 12 days of holidays (3 times in the middle of the night) with no explanation and excuses. - The hotel was good but the open spaces are subjected to flooding during rainy days. - As regards the restaurant, dishes and cutlery were often dirty and the waiters took so long to serve the drink even though the dining room was empty. - About rooms: laundry cleening rough and approximate, in a five star hotel is not accepted to find spots on towels and hair in bed sheets. - They offer us 2 bottle of water only the first two days. Then they give us only 1 bottle. - On the beach you can't walk without being attacked by street sellers: too intrusive and insistent. - The last day we had an attempted theft in one of our suitcases in the room probably during the room cleaning

Plussat: Excellent stay, early check in and late check out without any fee. Staff was excellent. Good quality food. Close to the beach

Plussat: Very new, clean hotel with excellent staff. Our room was upgraded and a bottle of bubbly and a cake was given to us on arrival for our anniversary. We very much enjoyed our few days - the beach bar was a lovely place to sit and relax with beautiful beach and great weather

Miinukset: Plastic glasses in every bar! It would have been nice to enjoy a drink in nice surroundings in a real glass!

Plussat: Perfect location, with a great private beach, not far from the center. Breakfast was very good, with satisfying table of fresh fruit, everything you need to have a good day at the beach. For lunch there are two restaurants, so it doesn´t become too crowded.

Miinukset: Oasis Belorizonte is probably without any renovation since it was built, and it´s notable in almost every places: the bathrooms are old, the walls are grimy, the air conditioning doesn´t work in the common areas (what attracts mosquitoes) ... Besides that, the all included drinks are almost unpalatable and the only restaurant that is open for dinner without reservation looks like a canteen, where everyone seems hungry, attacking and eating the remains of what once was a food platter. In my opinion, there should be more restaurants and a faster service, considering the amount of people. Therefore, taking into account the hotel's degradation, the price is beyond excessive.

Plussat: Bungalow much smaller than I imagined, but very comfortable. Pillows 10 out of 10. Excellent air con in room. Plenty of food at buffets...and actually very tasty...except for coffee. Beach close by, and fresh beach towels always available.. Free wifi given to compensate for limited restaurant availabilty - thanks for that.

Miinukset: Only one restaurant available for all meals. Lines at the bars were often long, because of people wanting a decent cup of coffee, and often only one bar person. I suggest coffee making be separate from the bars. All staff were friendly and efficient, but at times overwhelmed by the lines.

Plussat: The new rooms (700/800) but all in all a great concept with the bungalows..

Miinukset: I didn't like the plastic cups for drinks, they could at least have reusable ones and also 3dcl not 1 dcl to minimize the output. And besides two servers at the bar nobody seems to smile( staff not friendly at all)... Oh and if you wanted to drink in the beach bar after 17.30 we were asked to leave so they could prepare for dinner... Normally the beach bars are open a minimum till the sun goes down, but no such luck here.

Plussat: Friendly staff, fantastic food, great sandy beach.

Plussat: Rooms OK. Good location, near city center and beach. Helpfull staff. At the end of our stay, they even provide us with a room to take shower and to change clothes before the flight for free. Good breakfast and good dinner. Would definitely come again.

Plussat: Very nice breakfast, although every day the same food. The rooms cleaned daily, towels changed, all clean and nice. Beautiful, green patio (connected to terrace restaurant part) with the pool and on the 3rd floor jacuzzi, gym and sunbathing spot that the personnel doesnt mention! What i liked the most is that is mainly visited by adult or older people and there was no children running around and screaming, so it was possible to rest in a calm, peaceful atmosphere. Very good location and good price.

Miinukset: The coffe given with the breakfast was bad. The personnel was speaking english but not very good, however it was possible to communicate in a simple way. Toilet paper was too thin :(

Plussat: The bed was hard but actually comfortable

Plussat: Perfect location, very kindly staff and amazing infrastructure (despite the process of renovation and some issues related to it).

Miinukset: Wi-Fi was available only in the hall.

Plussat: The property was located in the centre of Santa Maria. They cleaned the room and we had clean towels every day. The staff was super helpful and friendly.

Plussat: The location is perfect. You are right at the beginning of the main strip in Santa Maria. Yet it was never noisy enough to disturb a goodnights sleep (unless you are a serious light sleeper)! The beach was just a 3 minute walk away and we could see the sea from our room and balcony. Our room was super clean for the whole of our stay. Beds made and sheets changed daily. Clean towels every day too.

Miinukset: The breakfast was extremely basic, so we went out to local cafes most mornings. The internet was not working for three days during our stay (we were told it was a problem with the internet provider). Our room was a little dark as there was only the french door window in the bedroom.

Plussat: Loved the breakfast and the service from Anna was great. Went down for breakfast every morning at 9am everything was available and didn't run out of anything, Cereals, eggs however you wanted them endless bread for toast and fresh fruit. The cleaning staff were all great and when I returned to my room everyday it was spotless and just like when I moved in.

Plussat: Location was great, 3 minute walk from the beach and from the main road and restaurants. Also room very clean and nice staff.

Plussat: The hospitality, location, the style of rooms, shower pressure, comfortable bed and excellent breakfast were excellent value for money. The boss even let me have a late check out for no extra cost because I had a late flight. Also they were very knowledgeable about the area. Highly recommended!

Miinukset: Nothing excellent

Plussat: This is a really good option if you want to be right by the beach but don't want to be in an all inclusive resort. The beach is literally just 2-3 minutes walk and the shops, bars, and restaurants are all down the road. The breakfast is nice too and I had to check in and out after midnight and the staff were very accommodating.

Miinukset: Wifi only works in the common area, but it's a pretty comfortable place to sit and spend time.

Plussat: Iso huoneisto aivan lähellä rantaa pääkadun varrella, jossa oli suurin osa ravintoloista.

Miinukset: Pyyhkeet ja lakanat olisi voinut vaihtaa useammin. WC-paperi tuntui olevan kortilla.

Plussat: The rooms were nice and clean.

Miinukset: The food was awful and the service was average.

Plussat: Good position 2 minutes walk from the beach and 10 minutes from the center. The structure is new and the rooms quite big.

Miinukset: Even if we booked the full board we had to pay for water and drinks and everything to eat outside lunch and dinner. The cleanings were not that good. Poor breakfast quality and variety

Plussat: Simplicity. Cleanliness. Style.

Miinukset: Nothing at all

Plussat: Everything!!! The Hotel, the beach, the food, the people, the music, the island and Cape Verde in general.

Miinukset: The extra costs.

Plussat: Hotellin aamiainen tarjoillaan viihtyisässä rantaravintolassa, merinäköala siis.

Miinukset: Keskustassa voi alkuyöstä olla melko meluisaa, tosin usein hyvää musiikkia.

Miinukset: TV in the room was not working properly.

Plussat: The location is great, the hotel is clean and close to the center. Breakfast is served in a different location, only 4 minutes walk through the center and towards the beach. Good value for money but I would not spend my whole holiday there.

Miinukset: You have to cross a very dark street (really short) to get to the hotel. Nothing happened but it doesn't feel the safest place to be if you are a woman walking alone.

Plussat: Hotel staff was really great, friendly and helpful.

Miinukset: The noise coming from the street was unbearable. It wasn't traffic it was the locals. Listening really loud music 2 am, screaming children plus adults, dogs barking 24/7. Impossible to sleep or just to relax during day. Because of the noise I would never stay in the same area again.

Plussat: We arrived at midnight and the shuttle organized by the hotel was waiting for us. The breakfast in Café del Mar, a short walk to the beach, was very good .There were 3 or 4 different options and the coffee was very good. The room was a good size with a table and two chairs and a fridge. Lots of books for reading in different languages on each floor.

Miinukset: The room was a little stale smelling on arrival . It would have benefited from being aired.

Plussat: The hotel is really good, it was the best for us comparing to all the others we stayed in on the different islands. It’s very spacious and plenty of area to chill, amazing rooftop terrace and a really good breakfast (in one of the best restaurants nearby). The room had a mosquito nest, something the other places we stayed in were missing and it was essential. The service was great, we had the flight leaving really late and they kept our luggage for the whole day safe as well as gave us a room to take shower after beach. Value for money was great and we’d stay there again should we return to Santa Maria.

Miinukset: I found a lot of cockroaches in the room. The wifi only works outside the room, so it's like not having the service. At night it's very noisy, and some clients would listen to very loud music very early in the morning.

Plussat: Very central , close to the vibrant action in Santa Maria, fabulous view from the top floor & great to have the use of the pool , spacious, clean & good facilities in apartment

Miinukset: Some nights were noisy due to the fact the appartement is directly behind a local nightclub Kalema , but didn’t disturb my sleep

Plussat: Upea näkymä parvekkeelta merelle! Oven ollessa auki, aaltojen kohina kuului sänkyyn! Aamupala erinomainen, samat perustuotteet mutta kuitenkin vaihtuvuutta jokaiselle päivälle. Kokilta sai munakkaan juuri toivomallaan tavalla kuin myös lättyjä. Huom kissaihmiset: eteläisimmälle rannalle mentäessä on kissoille tehty pieni kissabaari / katos. Sinne voi käydä laittamassa nappuloita ja vettä, niin kuin monet tekevätkin. Itse teimme vesipullojen pohjista veitsellä leikkaamalla käteviä ruoka-astioita. Kadun toisella puolella olevasta minimarketista saa ostettua kissanruokaa. Kaupunki ja ravintolat kävelyetäisyydellä. Allasalue mukavan rauhallinen ja ranta metrin päässä. Erittäin suositeltava kokonaisuus!
