I love the location and the clean, modern style. Staff is also excellent. There was a lot of noise filtering in -some from children in the next room, but a lot of mysterious whines and wails and clunks that sounded like they came from the mechanicals of the building.
Bathrooms in every floor, evening happy hour with dre wine, cool bar/ restaurant They tried to upsell you on everything. Early check in before noon $50, cot( which over the phone they said was free) but once we were checking in they wanted to charge us $40 per night. Staff at the front desk not very friendly more like sales people.
very good location for walking to the ocean or the market
Good location Conceiger was unhelpful. She had zero interest in assisting.
The staff was very friendly and easy to talk to. The valet men were quick at getting our vehicle ready. Room service was also quicker than expected. One of the staff members got us excited about our view. She said it was her favourite room and you can see the Ferris wheel. Once we got in the room the view was nothing special and there was no Ferris wheel in sight at all.
The view is nice and close to everything downtown. Not a bad walk to the stadium - we were there for an event. Easy to catch a taxi. At busy check-in hours they did not have all the desk staff available and there were long lines for check-in. Took about 30 min to get through the line. There were many young drunk 20 year olds in the hotel that night. They stood outside our room talking at 1am until I asked them to please go in there room. They then spent the last couple hours being loud and running down the hall banging on everyone's doors until I finally called security at around 3:30am. This is not what I would expect from a high end hotel with the amount of money they charge. At check-in we wanted to self-park (not worth the $25 more per night for valet. The gate for self-park was closed with a sign to go to the main entrance location (this causes a 6 block detour with the one-way streets). When we returned the valets told us that self-parking was not being allowed due to an event (which we were there for). So they were only allowing valet (to rip us off another $25/night). We were then told we had to go another 6 blocks detour to the only self-parking option if we did not want to allow them to park our car. I would have been fine with the location we parked at if it had been clear. The process made it clear that they made it super difficult so that everyone would just do the valet parking. Once you get in line to check in you have no way out due to the valet only. The hotel also charges very high prices for wi-fi per day. I would expect for a hotel that hosts events and such would allow free internet access or at least a decent price. For a slower speed for download up/down than I get at home they wanted $29/day. I would not stay here again and would say that it is not equal to a 4 star hotel. It felt as if they were not staffed appropriately and felt ripped off at every turn.
Everything. From the moment we arrived, the Valet was superb, the doormen were excellent, the front desk staff were fantastic, and the room was great. Every touch point with the staff was top notch. No
No tea coffee making items in room expensive to buy a cup of coffee
Loved going to large room off lobby to have a very relaxing experience seeing the water and mountains at the same time. Was with my sister and we were able to visit Pike Street Market and the downtown several times (even in light rain) because of the hotel van amenity. was hard to get ride to ferry using the hotel van as it was on the hour schedule.
I've stayed in better economy type inns. Cool location , but way dated and a need for up dating. The price didn't match the facilities
All of the staff were very helpful an accomadating always with a smile. Wonderful location. Nice clean room all great. Thought room with a view meant a water view
Bed was soft Dogs next to us barking all night No gym as advertised Room couldn't get colder than 66 degrees
The elevators are fast and the location is perfect for Seattle sightseeing- Space Needle and Pike Place Market are blocks away. We loved the close proximity to the best restaurants in Seattle: Lola, Dahlia Lounge, Dahlia Bakery, Etta's, Palace Kitchen, Serious Pie. The room was comfortable and large. We liked the split bathroom with bathtub/toilet on one side and sink/mirror on the other. The heater was inconsistent- when it was blowing, the room was too warm, but when it turned off the room was a bit chilly.
I was charged $16 additional parking for coming to the hotel 2 hours before check in. On top of the $30+ I was already paying for parking there.
Thanks to Desiree, Steve, and everyone else who made our stay a great one! And, thanks for the sparkling wine!
Close to office Not enough menu variety, unfriendly atmosphere, uptight environment, location of in room bar in double queen inconvenient, needs more lighting, views are not appealing; closed blinds entire stay
