My left shoulder and arm and left hip started hurting - couldn't sleep - took 2 days to get rid of the numbness in my arm. I asked to move, and it became obvious that there were many empty seats in the next section behind. I moved, and my comfort improved. Why was I given such a posture killer - especially on such a very long flight with seats to spare?"

They weren't particularly large people, just average men but their arms were in my space all the time. Also if I drop something, I cannot pick it up, there's no room. For transatlantic flights the seats should be bigger."

Plussat: "They didn't charge me for my surfboards which was great. It was my only check-on bag and under two meters and that should be free on every airline. Flight attendants were very nice and professional. I gave the food 5 stars based on other airline food, I'm not expecting restaurant quality at 37,000'. Movie selection was adequate for me, although I've seen some complaints in the reviews here."
Miinukset: "It was a little tricky checking in on my phone. The check email reminder didn't carry the info I needed to check in which required extra searching and copying and pasting. That experience could be streamlined. There was group confusion when being directed to board the plane on two flights."

Miinukset: "The plane was very dirty when we landed in Dar-es-salaam. The plane did get cleaned a little bit in Dar-es-salaam however I was still missing a pillow and blanket which I had to actively seek out. Seating was not very comfortable as there was a box attached to the leg of the seat in front of me, making it necessary to keep my feet at an uncomfortable angle through the long flight. I did not enjoy the food."

Within a few hours (and thanks to airline assistance) we were able to locate the suitcase. Even then it took them two days to bring it to us, two precious days off our planned vacation (7 days) At the end of the shortened vacation, we got to the chek in, and told that since the ticket I had purchased form them two months earlier was too cheap ... and since the flight was Over booked, they would take me off the plane if all the passengers would arrive. It's unnecessary to describe what I felt until the plane took off. They apologize constantly, but do nothing practical. a bae company. no me nor my freinds/family will go with KLM"
Plussat: "Flight crew on flight from Amsterdam to Cape Town were probably the most friendly and enthusiastic I've experienced and no, they were not all young. The plane was spotless throughout the flight. They were always coming around with water and juice and they genuinely seemed to care about all the passengers. The Flight back crew were just the opposite. More like the old lazy farts you get on the American carriers or BA or QF long haul. Whoo have been there for the long haul and should have stopped ages ago."

Plussat: "Great aisle seat on a modern plane.I was in the middle seat on an older plane for the trip there (close to 8 hours), and it wasn’t as comfortable. The trip from Reykjavík to Seattle was great: comfortable seat and more room, though they were both in the same fare class."
Miinukset: "We paid extra for an exit row with more leg room and were moved to a standard seat. We were also separated from the rest of our party. We spoke to the help desk to try and resolve the issue they told us the seats we were moved to also had extra room but when we boarded the plane this was not true."
Plussat: "The seat was very uncomfortable. I think it’s time for them to be reupholstered or something."

Miinukset: "Two flights at the same time to same locations through unlabeled gates (up some stairs and through two doors before checking boarding passes) confused about 30 people. this was not optimal. Putting the boarding pass check earlier would remove the confusion."
Plussat: "You have to put up with a lot but it’s a cheap way to get to Europe."
Miinukset: "As has happened to us before our extra leg roo. Seats (that we paid extra money for) disappeared when we checked in and we’re replaced with separate seats in the back of the plane. Boarding is long and very disorganized. It took over an hour to get our bags."

Plussat: "The entertainment selection was good (movies) and the staff was friendly, however on the 8 hour flight, my headphone jack to watch movies did not work."
Miinukset: "The connector for my headphones did not work on the 8 hour flight, every other airline will provide, at a minimum, a complimentary snack where as on this flight you needed to pay for everything, seat assignments were changed (booked with a group of 6 and we were all sitting with each other when we booked it but when we got to the gate everyone was scattered. In fact, I heard a man say he was on his honeymoon and that they changed his wife's seat so they were unable to sit together."

The Iceland airport was very busy, had trouble finding the correct gate for departure to Copenhagen. I wasn't expecting to depart the plane on arrival in Iceland and be put on a bus to be taken to the airport complex. Was also put on a bus from the airport to the plane for departure to Copenhagen. I would in the future fly with Iceland air again. I was treated well by the airline personnel, and I was happy to give that country my business. Shirley"

Had to call customer service who told us to call back after 8:30 Iceland time. That's 10:30pm in Seattle. This after we'd flown from Copenhagen for eleven hours. Then they tell us the previous person should have had us fill out the online form. All very frustrating."
Miinukset: "They wouldn't let my wife and I sit together because there were "too many families sitting together already". When we asked why we weren't considered a family the woman at check in told us "sorry, maybe you should have a baby.""
Plussat: "Love iceland air for seat comfort and entertainment options, despite late boarding we still arrived on time."
Miinukset: "There was no communication in Reykjavik to our boarding area, they boarded 20 minutes late with no communication or update on the intercom. Then they just opened boarding with no communication, very strange. IcelandAir still operates in the dark ages with seating assignments, I was unable to select seats for my flight ahead of time because tickets were purchased through another ticket vendor other than the airline itself. I also don't like how all food has to be purchased even though it is a 7+ hour flight."
Plussat: "Attentive stewardesses! Lots to buy."
Miinukset: "Would be nice to have access to WIFI for free to use communication apps like Whatsapp and Messenger, also a larger selection of free entertainment would be nice. I find it very disappointing that there is a fee to select a special meal such as vegan or kosher, the breakfast meal was also mediocre"
Plussat: "I was able to upgrade to business class at a reasonable rate. It was well worth it and the ticketing agent made it as easy as possible."
Miinukset: "There could have been someone at the gate sooner to answer questions or complete upgrade transactions."
Miinukset: "Condor asked me to check in my hand luggage due to lack of space. Then they lost it. That happens... But after losing my luggage Condor acts like it is not their problem and tells me I should work with some generic luggage tracker company."
Miinukset: "Air hostesses too hectic"

Plussat: "The flight attendants were very nice."
Miinukset: "1. There was no organization when boarding. It was chaotic. 2. For some reason, everyone appeared to have a difficult time finding overhead room for their luggage. 3. The attendants are used more as sale‘s people than attendants. The items they were selling included candy, spirits, and cartons of cigarettes. 4. They only offer two free movies, a few tv episodes, and music. 5. They serve you food twice. No snacks. No alcohol."
Miinukset: "Flight was overbooked and we were not boarded. The personnel at the gate desk asked us to wait in the hallway outside the gate until further notification. When the plane was almost finished boarding, I went to the desk to find out whether we would get on. They admitted they had "forgotten about us". We then took the arduous trek through passport control back out to the main terminal to rebook. The only option we were presented was a flight the next day, instead of our 9h direct flight from Frankfurt to Seattle this was going to be a 19h flight via a long layover in Chicago. I tried hard to work with the agent to find another option, and asked for the supervisor. She told me "this isn't going to help you". Horrible horrible."
Miinukset: "Non existent customer service. No individual lighting in main cabin, no attempt to fix the problem. Bathrooms were falling apart and disgusting. Cattle car mentality."
Plussat: "The boarding process seemed difficult to go through. Waited 1 hr to check in baggage because 2 agents were all they had. We had two more screenings after this that almost seemed misunderstood by the Condir personnel."
Miinukset: "Condor seems to take every opportunity to retell the customer that you’re flying cheap. Inadequate staff, grumpy stewardesses, horrid food and the older very cramped seat style. By the time we added surcharges for seats and luggage, we were already in the regular fare range of Lufthansa. Which we regretted not taking to Germany. Beware."
Miinukset: "It took over an hour for the baggage to start coming out, and they were so disorganized it came out on two different baggage carousels."
Plussat: "We arrived safely."
Miinukset: "This cheap airline packs in the passengers like sardines, then randomly charges them for the weight of their carryon luggage; the staff are rude; the boarding process was completely bungled; and for any good food or entertainment the passengers are again charged extra. I am never flying with Condor again!"
Plussat: "I like the crew and nothing more"
Miinukset: "The food is very bad Any thing normal cost money Food.tv.drink. It was very cold or too hot that everybody was complaining about"
Miinukset: "There were only two movies for free. You have to pay for all others."
Plussat: "The flight crew was great, and the aircraft was very nice and clean."
Miinukset: "I showed up to the airport 2+ hours early, I tried to check in online, was given a error the said my reservation didn’t exist. When I arrived at the airport I went to the check in counter, when I told them I was checking for a flight to Seattle, i was told that I couldn’t check in because there was a issue with my flight. I was directed to a corner of the terminal. This corner had no chairs or seats for us, we sat there for 2+ hours all the way up to the time our flight was intended to depart. All the while we tried to get information or what was the issue, but we were just stonewalled. Finally past our boarding time were were told the flight was being canceled, and to standby for more information. Another half an hour went by before they told us they were getting us a hotel, and buses to the hotel. So then we waited another 15 minutes or so when they asked us if we had checked in because we needed a ticked to get a room at the hotel. Again we waited in line for 20+ minutes to check in. I had 2 bags to check, one I need at the hotel, the other I did not. They let me check the one bag I could, told me to check the other at the business class check in in the morning to avoid the line, sounds good, or so I thought. So condor gathers us all up, an entire 767 worth of people, and begins hearding us to the buses, they don’t tell us where we’re going, just to follow the one employee, to the 5 or so buses. A large group of us got split off at a set stairs, helping older folks and family with strollers get down the stairs. Now I spent 30 minutes wandering around Frankfurt am main looking for buses. Well they don’t park them out front, they park them out in the middle of nowhere. Finally get to get hotel, it’s a nice hotel. The next morning the lady at the business class desk was extremely rude."
Plussat: "Smooth flight and I always appreciate the flight tracker!"
Miinukset: "Either El Al Airlines or Condor lost my bag:-( The boarding process was really weird and slow. It would have been nice to have identified the gate earlier."
Plussat: "The online entertainment has a nice variety of interesting shows, including documentaries. My seat was comfortable with good leg room, but only because I got lucky when I asked for an exit row seat while checking in. The regular economy seats are extremely narrow and uncomfortable with almost no leg room (and I am only average in heigh). Taller people sitting in regular aisle seats are hanging their legs out into the aisle throughout the flight because they have to for any kind of reasonable comfort."
Miinukset: "Somehow the airline should tell passengers that they are going to have to go through a(mother) strict security process before getting on the plane in Frankfurt to the U.S. We all stood in line for close to an hour in a very hot area of the airport to go through full-on security - water gets thrown out, shoes off, laptops out - the whole works, again. I had already gone through this kind of security in Vienna for the Vienna-Frankfurt leg of my trip. I had no idea this was going to be required and had planned to use my time in Frankfurt to relax and get something to eat. Instead it was spent standing in a surprise security line that moved extremely slowly. Not a fun way to spend the time before getting on an 11-hour flight. If they are going to require that security they should have many more lines available so that it moves at a reasonable pace."
Plussat: "The food and some complimentary beverages were good. The movies minimal and extra cost."
Miinukset: "The boarding process was very disorganized, the seats had very little leg room, and the guy behind kept pushing my seat forward with his knees and complaining when I put my seat back."
Miinukset: "First, we went to check-in to get our boarding passes, onlyfor the woman at the counter to tell us we were on Stand-By... for the flight we bought VERY expensive tickets for a YEAR in advance, because they overbooked the flight (100% the AIRLINES fault). Then after some panic time had passed, the same woman told us she was able to get us on the flight, like she'd done us some massive favor, but that we would not be able to sit together. (We are a husband and wife that were on our honeymoon). Then, once we are finally on this flight, cramped near all these strangers, we both go to find some solace in the on-board entertainment, only to find out, they only offered TWO movies free of charge. Two movies for a 10 hour flight. Seriously??? Then, we were served some on board meals, due to the duration of the flight. The food gave me food poisoning. This was by far the WORST flight experience of my life. We will NEVER be flying air Condor again. Nor, will I be referring this company to anyone."
Miinukset: "Frankfurt was a mess. The gate wasn't announced till shortly before boarding. The gate had it's own security line which was inefficient. Plane ended up leaving an hour late because >100 people were still stuck in security. No vegetarian options for food."
Plussat: "See above."
Miinukset: "We were required to go through FIVE SECURITY SCREENING CHECKPOINTS while changing from flight from Athens to Munich on Lufthansa to the flight from Munich to Seattle on Condor airlines. - EACH LINE WAS SINGLE FILE AND SLOW... - SCREENERS WERE NOT IN SYNC WITH ONE ANOTHER... ONE SCREENER TELLING US TO DO ONE THING AND THEN OTHER SCREENERS REQUIRING US TO GO BACK TO THE END OF THE LINE FOR THEIR MISTAKE... THE FLIGHT THEN LEFT MORE THAN AN HOUR LATE... TERRIBLE MOVIE SELECTION WAS VERY POOR..."
Plussat: "Just another average flight. Entertainment system worked. Friendly crew."
Miinukset: "There is no way to get comfortable in those seats when you are 1,90m 6ft3 Charge to watch movies. Some of them pretty racy especially if you have little kids close to you"
Miinukset: "Economy movies only two options, that's great but one option was "Part One" of a Harry Potter movie. Should of at least had Part Two available or not shown part one...just a thought."
Plussat: "food dinner good staff was wonderful"
Miinukset: "the seats in economy are like a straight jacket ..i cant even bend over to pick something up if i drop it... i will not book with Condor again if i dont have to."
Miinukset: "The boarding process was beyond terrible. Enough that I will never fly with Condor again."
Miinukset: "Condor needs to become faster with technology."
Plussat: "This flight was a little more challenging. The flight was delayed by 3 hours. I do appreciate thought that the Condor airline made the necessary arrangements to ensure their passengers can make the connection to their final destination even though we landed past the time we were to make our next connection. They too care of making sure to secure another flight for the passengers who missed their first connection. Great job. I made it back home the same day."

Plussat: "I can't say much of any part of the trip was good but I'm glad the flight is over with."
Miinukset: "Bad parts: The tightness of the seat area between the arm rests is too constrictive. Passenger to my side overlapped my arm for extra room. Leg room is too close and could not stretch legs under seat without knees bumping seat ahead. The passenger ahead tilting seat back when food was served pushed my food tray into my lap. International flights should include entertainment movies at no additional fee."
Plussat: "It was on time"
Miinukset: "Impolite and poor checkin. arogant staff least legroom I have ever haad on any flight terrible food poor coffee I will never fly condor again unless no other choice I will pay more to tkae a different carrier."
Plussat: "Flight attendants made the trip as comfortable as possible."
Miinukset: "Stood in line for two hours before even getting to the concourse. Then sat on the plane another 1.5 hours while luggage was removed for passengers who did not clear security. Leg room was terrible and I am not particularly tall. When passenger in front of me reclined her seat it knocked my Kindle out of my hand and about took out a knee."
Plussat: "Premium economy is far better than economy - economy has far less leg room, and as I'm 5'11" that made a big difference. It also provides you with more movie options (15 v. 2). All in all it was a good flight."
Miinukset: "The food, even the upgraded version in premium economy, is not good. Also, for boarding, everyone really boarded at once and you had to go through additional security to get to the gate so you were basically stuck in a waiting room until your flight left with only vending machines (but there were bathrooms so that was good!)."
Miinukset: "The hour wait in line to get to an agent, the hour wait in line to clear security, the hour wait in line to get to the gate,the non-existence of any communication from the representatives of Condor, the two plus hours lateness of the flight taking off, the cancellation of our connecting flight with no communication to us, the extreme difficulty of talking with anyone from Condor, and the list goes on. This experience was the worst flight experience of my life and I am a veteran traveler through out the world. This airline reflects badly on Kayak!"
Plussat: "Same as above."
Plussat: "Flight was on time. Plane was clean. Staff friendly and attentive. Seats recline."
Miinukset: "Economy seats lack adjustable headrests found in economy class seats of other airlines. The kind that support your head side-to-side. Without headrest, it was difficult to sleep on the 10 hour flight. The seat has less legroom than other airlines, I have a 32" inseam and my knees touched the seat in front of me."
Plussat: "The seats are wide enough so you don't feel cramped in economy, overall a decent budget flight experience. Sufficient overhead bin space."
Miinukset: "The food is absolutely awful and the space between your seat and the one in front is small so it's a tight transition to get into the chair. Seats weren't all that comfortable after a while. Only 2 movies unless you paid or were in premium. Left about an hour late."
Plussat: "cost to bump up to business class was 720 euros apiece? Coach seats very uncomfortable, probably wont fly them again due to this movie selection good, had to pay for the use of headphones and to watch movies"
Miinukset: "cabin was way too hot, happy I had layers on so that i could cool off flight took off late and boarding was a mess, just a gob of people no organized sections Seats very uncomfortable, too short for tall people, with seat reclined hard on back."
Plussat: "The crew were very attentive and between them and the great food the flight was bearable."
Miinukset: "Walked from the lounge to the gate when instructed only to spend an hour or more waiting for what seemed ever passenger being called to the desk for something. Boarded to find my selected seats had been given to a large family and that the seats themselves were absolutely terrible in design. they were narrow and had a console that interfered with comfort. the leg-rest could not be extended enough for even an average height person to use the fold down metal foot rest, which therefore was what my calves sat on. This all amounted to ten hours of pain. Condor is not likely to get our business again."
Miinukset: "We couldn't not buy anything during the flight. We were told that US major credit cards were not excepted (e.g. Visa, MC). Everything from Alcohol, Movies/TV, snacks, food, etc. was unavailable because we didn't have cash. We basically starved the entire 10 flight. 2 meals were served at the beginning and end of the flight, but nothing in between. We were in Italy/ Germany for several weeks and no problems with our CC, we spent our cash prior to flight because we didn't want to bring back excess foreign money. Will not fly condor again. We flew premium economy there and it was enjoyable, the seats were not available on the way back and its was miserable flight."
Plussat: "Crew was friendly."
Miinukset: "Seats were so crowded. I am only 5 9 1/2 feet tall, but my knees touched the seat in front of me! Also - why not provide more movies? Other international flights always provide more entertainment. Plus, one shouldn't have to pay to choose vegetarian food."
Plussat: "The staff on the flight was friendly. That was about it."
Miinukset: "The boarding staff were extremely poor. Totally disorganized - failed to explain the multiple lines, made everyone go through a separate line just to ask us if we'd give up our seats. Then had to move to another line to check our boarding passes and passports for the 4th time. Staff was extremely unhelpful and rude. Will not be flying condor again."
Plussat: "The crew was very nice. Meals were provided. the tablet set up so that we could watch movies, TV, our location during the flight or listen to music. Flight was on time."
Miinukset: "No leg room. The person in front of me reclined their seat and there was barely room for a coffee cup on the table. My husband, who is not a particularly tall person had his knees against the seat in the front. Frankfurt is an odd airport. I lost track of all the lines that we stood in. Had to pay for more selection on movies and TV."
Miinukset: "Hit in the knee by the flight attendants cart."
Miinukset: "The flight was not with Lufthansa. It was with Condor, and they seem not to know very much about customer service. I get that the airport industry doesn't work based on customer service, but still."
Miinukset: "terrible food, confusing what's included the service price, most of all Customer service agents at the gate very ruth and not helpfull, delayed-not given time frame why or when the boarding will start, feels like you don't care about your customers satisfactions at all. Never will fly again on Condor Ailines!"
Plussat: "Straight through flights from west coast to europe"
Miinukset: "both the outgoing and return flights did not start boarding until after the flight was scheduled to leave. The gate leaving from Frankfurt had its own security line for just this gate, and then we were coralled in a small space waiting to board, and this little area was packed and really hot in comparison to the rest of the airport. Had to pay to choose a seat, as I didn't want them to stick me in a middle seat. also had to pay to get more than 2 movies, the card reader declined all 3 of my cards (they worked in the airport before boarding). I guess Im used to the fantastic service of Alaska airlines, where they are much more willing to give you free things on the plane, meals, drinks, especially if the card reader doesn't work. Luckily the gal next me had some cash to cover me. I also asked for a pen to fill out my custom papers, and a stewardess said no, she didn't have a pen and walked off. I would like to say I wouldn't fly them again, but they are cheap, and not having layovers is really nice"
Plussat: "Everyone was very friendly, the food was decent and no additional charge, which was nice. Adequate leg room."
Miinukset: "I did not like having to pay extra for movies/tv. On an 11 hr flight this should already be included."
