Good location and customer service
Location can't be beat, pool is nicer than embassy across street. Valet service is also way better than embassy....that's what I pay more for. AC never gets real cold for me...I stay here a lot when I attend hockey games...I always stay here or embassy across the street. I've been choosing Marriott because the valet for embassy is a zoo and takes forever when you try and leave in the morning but if Marriott doesn't fix their AC I'm gonna have to find something else.
The woman who checked us in didn't seem to know what she was doing, but tried acting like she did. She charged our card for $489. When I told her we booked the room for $299 she said, "whatever I have on my computer is what you booked it for". I had to go back later that evening to have someone else adjust it. He was very friendly and saw that it was their mistake within seconds.
I called to extend my room. The agent told me that there were no rooms available, but when I checked online at their website they still had open rooms. I'm still not sure why I was declined to extend my stay. Also, we were unable to lower the air below 68 degrees in our room, and the shower took at least 10 minutes to get hot. Needless to say I will not be back to this location.
