Quebec hotellit Saint-Sacrement

Plussat: We loved staying at Acacias! Marie is amazing, a beautiful host - and her breakfast was delicious. Our room was perfect, quiet, very comfortable and very clean.

Plussat: The hostess was absolutely amazing! Very nice and welcoming and she made breakfast every morning. That breakfast was delicious and different each morning. The location is perfect - nearby a bus stop where you can take a bus straight to the centre. Would definitely stay here again!

Plussat: Easy to park in the street, confortable bed, super nice host with amazing home made breakfast, very clean!

Miinukset: Shower is very tiny, so is the bathroom with no much space to put our stuff...apart from that would definitely stay here again

Plussat: We arrived later than 6pm, Marie left us a message and instructed us how to get in at arrival night. She set up a breakfast for us in the next day morning. The breakfast was great! It made us feel we were in our own home! She was so nice to explain everything around the city. The third day I left quite early (around 6am), Marie even had a breakfast table setup and got coffee, fruit etc. prepared for me! That was so kind! Great thanks!

Miinukset: Marie might want to consider to update in-room notice and instruction sheet. Something (coffee for example) are listed and priced but Marie provided them for free. It could make people feel better to remove those free items if Marie is not charging!

Miinukset: Breakfast was good different every morning cooked by the hostess

Plussat: Acacias Bed & Breakfast is located in a quiet neighborhood with an easy, 15 minute bus ride to the old city. Our suite included a comfortable bedroom, living room and private bath with access to the nearby kitchen. Marie is a warm and wonderful host with a special knack for anticipating the needs of her guests. She prepared a delicious French toast breakfast with Canadian Maple Syrup our first morning and we enjoyed lovely conversations with her.

Plussat: Good kitchenette, great value for money facilities

Miinukset: The cleaner was rude. Slightly cold on the inside. There were too many locks to open before entering your room finally. Location is very far from old Quebec

Plussat: The staff. The neighboorhood.

Miinukset: The carpets in the room! It smells!!

Plussat: The staff was really nice. Especially the lady at the reception. Very welcoming and listens to the clients. I would definitely go back there if I'm Around.

Miinukset: Some scratches a little bit everywhere in the room. But nothing that bad.

Plussat: nice, small location in the city of Quebec. Close to the bus station.

Plussat: I dint have much expectations as I knew it was a bit further downtown but when we got there everything changed. Good place which makes you feel very at easy. The facility counts with everything one can need. Restaurant, bar, tv, ironing, washing machine... you name it! Good atmosphere and a nice place to stay

Miinukset: Location, if you just want to be around vieux Quebec it is a bit of a way, but very nice place though.

Plussat: the area was great- really safe and right by the main bus into the centre for only $3.50 (exact change needed) and the beds were the comfiest I’ve slept in in a hostel. Also, the property was clean.

Miinukset: Unfortunately the staff seemed to not know what they were doing on arrival- didn’t even know how to use the card machine and spoke very little English. We didn’t see any other staff through our 4 night stay. The “Kitchen” was an extremely old hob and a microwave, that’s all. With not even a bowl to use - to claim to offer kitchen facilities is a stretch. The “patio” is about 2 square meters MAX of paving to the side of the property... there is no patio! We also only saw 2 other guests our whole stay, definitely not the place to go if you’re looking to meet people. Really this accommodation is a B&B, not a hostel. If it was advertised for what it was this would be a great place to stay.

Plussat: It was nice that basic breakfast was provided but cream cheese was expired.

Miinukset: Bathroom is so much smelling awful!! Moist!!

Plussat: Nothing

Miinukset: I arrived at the hostel and the owner was leaving, we talk just for 1 minute and left me with a Brazilian who was attending the hostel but as attentive as she was very young and still did not know everything about the hotel, I arrived at business hours then I found the owner of the place very irresponsible. The place for the customer is small, arriving has a huge office that seems to be owned by the hostel, a kitchen that accommodates a few people and the rooms look like in the basement of the house. The lighting is poor, the toilets so I can't understand how they work it was terrible, there's absolutely nothing available to you and getting anything is complicated. The ad says the hostel is close to the center but too far away and getting around is a bit slow, so if you think about renting to go to Old Quebec or touristic places, forget, and there is absolutely nothing close to the place. The lockers are just for a small bag and have a lot of rust. I had breakfast one day on site, the cafe has only the basics of the basics, don't expect too much. Finally an unforeseen event occurred during my trip and I had to cancel 2 of the three days booked and once again the owner was not in the hostel, could not help me. In short the experience was terrible, I would not recommend it to anyone for the price you charge.

Miinukset: The hotel was dirty, noisy and didn't meet the advertised standards.

Plussat: It is a good but not perfect location to old quebec area. Either long 20 mins walk or bus. The room is small but it met expectations and needs. Would I stay again? Yes.

Miinukset: Nothibg really major perhaps small room but it was Ok and was expecting it. As well as limited parking.
