Boarding was long and drawn out multiple security checks long lines no priority for business class. Seats were hard and food was mediocre at best. Remote controller was not working and attendant suggested that I deal with it instead of moving me to one of several seats empty in the cabin. Attendants barely spoke English as well which is not acceptable for international flights. Will stick to Qatar Airways from now on.
The flight didn’t even happen.

Plussat: "The first trip from Chicago to Istanbul they given us the first chair with bed for baby But the next trip they not"
Miinukset: "Squawking brats the whole 10.5 hours of the trip to IAD."

Plussat: "Quality service and efficient"
Miinukset: "I checked in 4 hours prior to departure. While in the international zone in Casablanca Airport my cellphone switched time-zone. As a result I arrived "punctual" at the gate exactly 1 h too late, the flight left without me. Neither Turkish Airlines nor Royal Air Maroc (operating this flight) attempted to contact me via my cell phone. Disappointing."
Plussat: "Crew were great and the airane was clean."
Miinukset: "The leg room in the economy is very tight my knees were hitting the seat in front of me. Also my special low calorie meal was inedible as the protein was so overcooked."
Plussat: "They lost my luggage and no one knows where it is!"
Plussat: "plenty of food that was good quality, lots of entertainment options, usb to charge. flight attendants very nice and helpful. one of the best international flights in a while."
Miinukset: "seats recline so much that when the person is reclined in front of you, almost like they're laying in your lap! but this can also be nice for your own reclining."
Miinukset: "Always 1.5 hour late. The airport management does not care about international flight delays!!!"
Plussat: "It was a traumatic flight"
Miinukset: "The security check in Istanbul was humiliating and I haven’t received this kind of check in my life specially in a connection flight! In a disturbing way the check was in the gate only and includes separation between man and whomen then examination of our bodies with human hands , opening our bag , no shoes etc."
Plussat: "Flight cancelled on whim of pilot due to a single faulty toilet."
Plussat: "Plane, seat and entertainment are very good."
Miinukset: "They made us wait for 2 hours out in the open on a winter night. They wouldn't let us in the terminal. It was outrageous. Everyone was extremely rude."
Miinukset: "There was nothing I would need and did not get in this flight. I would definitely use the same airline and recommend to other people as well."
Plussat: "The food and boarding went fine."
Miinukset: "There was no air in our section of the plane. The entire flight from Houston to Istanbul was miserable. It was 85 degrees or higher, and every chance we got to complain to a flight attendant was met with dismissal. We were told they were trying to fix it, but really there's nothing they could have done, and they shouldn't have made it sound like if we just waited a little the problem would get fixed. Not only was it hot, but there was no actual air flow of any kind, and as a person with Asthma this was extremely uncomfortable. Our section was right behind the first class section, and the flight attendants kept trying to keep us separated with the curtains, even though the only way we were getting any air was from that cabin. We consistently requested them to leave the curtains open in the hopes that some air would make it's way to us, but there was little change. Some families with newborns were moved to first class, and some passengers were able to scout out and find other available seats throughout the plane, but for the majority of us in that section, we had no air, and were treated very poorly for as much discomfort as we were going through. There was no apology and little acknowledgement to the problem at hand and I felt personally very disrespected by the whole experience."
Plussat: "Turkish Airlines is a wonderful airline. They treat all there passengers well. The food was excellent and the cabin crew was multi lingual, pleasant and helpful. They made a long flight very comfortable and pleasant."
Miinukset: "I wish the seats had more legroom in economy class."
Miinukset: "I was on the phone for 4 hours, went to Turkish office in New York City (they didn't agree to see me), called various sales offices without obtaining a resolution. The only option I have is to lose the full fare of this ticket."

Miinukset: "We missed the flight for teasons totally outside our control. We were stuck at Borg El Arab Airport gate for over an hour and therefore missed our flight. Turkish reps weren't helpful at all and wouldn't try to find a solution for us!! We had to book new tickets with Egyptair. I don't believe we'll be flying Turkish again."
Plussat: "Crew was extremely pleasant and accommodating. The flight was very comfortable. Everything was done in a timely manner."
Miinukset: "As a business class passenger I wish our boarding process could have been better and perhaps separated from coach."
Miinukset: "they lost my lagge and I been in JFK airport waiting over 2 hours I am soo upset it is a very bad experience I hope they found my stuff"
Miinukset: "The flight left early, without me. Instead of beginning boarding at the time printed on my ticket, like every other airline, boarding was completed and closed fifteen minutes before my ticket said they would start, so even though I was eight minutes early I was actually seven minutes too late. Turkish Airlines service desk took the evidence (my ticket) and then refused to rebook me, forcing me to pay $600 for a new flight and for a visa to Turkey just so I could exit through security to book & pay for it. They will not be getting any more of my business in the future!"

Plussat: "Perfect trip, seats comfortable and soft even in economy and having personal entertainment was a pleasant surprise. also good selection of films. Food was just a sandwich but better quality than other companies."

Miinukset: "My luggage was ruined due to poor handling."
Plussat: "I would definitely fly on Turkish Air again. The seats were roomy in comparison to other airlines I have flown on. The inflight entertainment was excellent in comparison as well. I thought the food and beverages were pretty good for an airline as well."
Miinukset: "Just the concern that people were not instructed to stay seated until the airplane came to a complete halt. People were out of their seats and getting luggage out of the overhead bins well before the plane had taxied up to the gate. Please make an announcement to keep passengers safe. Also, the cabin crew could have been a little more helpful to passengers. They kind of stood around and did nothing when a gentleman and his child got on the airplane and other people were clearly sitting in his seats. The man had to straighten out the situation with the people who were in the wrong seats. The flight crew needed to have been assertive, ask politely for people's boarding passes and taken care of the conflict, not the customer. My flight was late and I missed my connection to Seattle. Turkish Air did put us up for the night and provided meals without a hassle."
Miinukset: "I asked for water but they didn't give it to me. They said they would give it water the same time when they gave tea"

Plussat: "Food and staff were excellent."
Miinukset: "Boarding area was crowded and confusing and no toilets, without having to exit security and return. Business class was in same lane as children and strollers, which was confusing."
Miinukset: "The veg food is quiet bland"
Plussat: "The in-flight entertainment was above average. The in-flight crew was fine, although not particularly gracious or kind."
Miinukset: "The on-ground customer service in Istanbul was the worst experience I have ever had with humans in my whole life. They were unhelpful, rude, blatantly ignored people, dismissive, walked away from customers when they didn't want to deal with them, did not do anything to keep order when people were cutting in line after people were waiting for 4+ hours. I will avoid flying Turkish Airlines as best I can."
Miinukset: "Terrible service, unhelpful staff on flight and in airport."
Plussat: "There was upgrade special on our outbound flight at check in which we took advantage of so we were in business class flight from SFO to Istanbul. That was awesome experience - very comfortable fully reclining seats, gourmet food and drinks, impeccable service, wide entertainment selection, etc. Even on the shorter leg flights we took (i.e. Istanbul to Rome and Dubrovnik to Istanbul) they served food (light snack). We flew economy from Istanbul back to SFO but got exit row seats so plenty of leg room and seats reclined good amount. Again, great service, food and entertainment. All the flights we had on our itinerary were newer planes. Turkish Airlines is so much better than American airlines!"

Miinukset: "I had two checked baggage a and o my 1 was delivered. I have reported this at the airport and have been following up with their customer service many times but no information is yet provided after days."
Plussat: "I liked the good timing and the comfort seats with good service."
Miinukset: "I wish if they give more than one bag with more weight to be 2 traveling bags and 40 kg for both."
Plussat: "The service provided by the airline crew was magnificent. I enjoyed the entire flight from my departure point to the arrival point. Turkish Airline is my to go airline herein henceforth. I will implore prospective travelers to give the airline a shot (try). I can unequivocally attest that the decision to do so will not be regretted."
