Thus we had to double, triple the cost of our flight just to get to Athens. JTR is worse than flight terminals in Iraq & Afghanistan. The flight - who cares, they ripped us off, made our morning miserable, and we'll never fly RyanAir again."
Miinukset: "Checking opened 20 minutes late and lengthy queues through security meantwe had no time to grab food/shopping as we had to rush to gate as no notifications that our flight was actually delayed by an hour. Everyone was herded onto buses to wait there for some reason rather than at gate"

Luckily (?) the plane turned out to be 45 minutes late, so the eternity it took to have the rookie who finally showed up to look blankly at her computer screen, apprently hoping it would receive Divine instructions on how to work her way through the ONE PERSON in line in front of us, in order to stamp our pre-printed boarding passes did not cause us to miss the last flight of the day from Amsterdam to Dublin. Now lets talk about the torture device that Ryanair uses as a passenger seat. . ."
Plussat: "The staff is rude."
Miinukset: "Never heard of having to keep windowns open the entire flight."

Miinukset: "Boarding delayed 30 minutes without a heads up. Crew allowed kid to run the aisles and listen to loud show without headphones. Had to walk to a different terminal to pick up our bags."

Miinukset: "I read their policy about checking bags four times to make sure I understood. The check in staff was rude and treated me like I was stupid. About half the people in line to check in also had to go to another line to pay the fee to check a bag, and go back in line to check in for the flight. Boarding was a disaster. The inflight service was them asking you to buy perfume. Not worth the cheap ticket - at all!"

Miinukset: "Charging a fee to check-in at the airport is ridiculous. Not every traveller has access to a computer/printer when they travel so that can be big hassel for customers. We didn't have to deal with this, but it could stress out other customers."

Miinukset: "Now must pay extra to sit together a new low Baggage costs as much as another fare All flights were at least an hour late Boarding doors kept open on freezing cold Stansted tarmac creating a wind tunnel inside with no heat turned on. Poor flight attendants in short skirts and panty house working in these conditions is outrageous!"
Plussat: "The price was cheap, as long as you don't add any extras (like choosing your seat)."
Miinukset: "You need to check in before you arrive at the airport otherwise you'll be charged FOR CHECKING IN. Also apparently it is normal for passengers to line up at the gate an hour before boarding, apparently because there is not enough overhead space for everyone. So unless you pay extra (no surprise there) to board early, you'll be standing in line for a good hour. I like a cheap flight as much as the next guy but Ryanair just takes it too far."
Plussat: "I not only had paid for 2 seats last night and paid for, but I also booked 2 bags and paid for them. In all E 37.50 per bag in cargo, then E 8 for each seat, AND I checked in both of is. Upon arrval at Athens airport, I was charged another E 62,50 for your failure to privode me with another boarding pass. Terrible,"

Plussat: "Plane and flight were fine once we got aboard and underway."
Miinukset: "Flight was over an hour late and that was very inconvenient since people were waiting for me. Boarding was disorganized and practically a riot. Airport at Catania changed departure gate 3 times, causing great confusion."

We were at the airport 2 hours before flight waiting inline and was told we had to print our own boarding pass. The fees were almost more than the flight. They also charge hefty fees for baggage fees. It's in your best interests to choose another airline."

Charging for everything as you go, pretending it's less expensive. And worse, not informing you upfront. Congratulations Mr O'Leary for duping people to get rich. Miinukset: "Every moment of us flying with Ryanair was a disaster as well as the part of us missing the flight even though we were at the airport. When you get to the airport you can't even change anything , all they let you do is check your bag in for a pre determined kg purchase. Who has a scale with them when right before they fly ? How are we supposed to know how many kilos our bags are after one or two weeks on a euro trip? If you want to pay at the airport , you have to pay ten euro or more per kilo and only up to 20 kilo (which is less than the standard 50 pounds ). This is in addition to your "low fare" ticket and FORTY EURO luggage price. Also, you can't even purchase at the place of leaving your bags, you have to walk to the office in the airport and pay. Also, they close the gates extremely early and don't tell you that you have thirty seconds to make your flight or you miss it altogether. The worst part is that you MUST check in online previously to coming to the airport and print out a boarding pass , all things that are impossible to do when you're traveling constantly and have no access to Internet or printer. If you didn't come prepared to the airport they can't even print it for you. It's awful. They are the devil. The workers are awful. They don't care about you and don't help you at all."
Plussat: "There was a 1 hour delay due to traffic and the flight crew kept us up to date with any changes and were overall very professional and kind about it. The pilots also invited kids to see the cockpit."

Plussat: "I have a double ticket reservation , they refused to cancel one and gove me a credit for it !! Even booth reservation to the same distenation on the same day and almost the same hour !!!!"

Miinukset: "We had a delayed of more than 6 hours, and they didnt give us in the airport any cupon or something to get some food!!!! More over, they had not report us the reason of the delayed till we were on the plane."
Miinukset: "My 81 year old father was asked at the final hour to measure his carry on luggage right before loading the bus on the tarmac to take us to the plane. They had already looked at it at check in. They pulled him out of line after he handed over his passport and then told him they were going to charge him for his carryon because it was too big. He place it in the measuring device and it fit so it was not too big. They ended up not charging him but the experience was very unpleasant."

Miinukset: "Everything very disorganized. Ryanair had no official office or representatives in the Amsterdam airport. Flight was mildly late. Crew was curt. Not even water was available without paying for it. Then the flight attendants came through on several tours up and down the isle, with a series of things to buy. Felt like we were in an Arab bazaar. Worst, the internet would not allow us to confirm our flight, despite repeated attempts. So they charged us 45 Euros each for confirming the flight at the airport. No one to talk to in Amsterdam about it. When we got to Dublin we were sent several different places to try to get our money back. Finally had to stand in a 20 minute line to discuss it, and we were told to email them. The entire thing was a miserable experience. Will never fly Ryanair again."
