Missed connection to Manchester. Paid for my own hotel room overnight in Paris CDG. Flight will arrive a day late in Manchester. That means I have missed my flights from Manchester to UK with Air Lingus (booked through Kayak website) It seems I must now purchase a new ticket to get home from Manchester to Nashville. All expenses I can ill afford. Lesson learned...cannot afford to use Kayak anymore...sorry."

Plussat: "Due to the breakdown in diplomatic relations between the United States and Turkey, we were not able to secure non-immigrant visas to enter Turkey, so we had to cancel our plans to Istanbul. It is a bit of a comfort to note that Turkish Airlines seems likely to refund us the price of our tickets. I appreciate it, because I don't think they are legally obligated, though it is the ethical thing to do."
Miinukset: "However, even getting our money back on the airline tickets won't reverse the disappointment of going through all of the effort and coordination to plan the trip. I intended to take my nephew to Istanbul, a city I've never been to and always pined to visit, and had encouraged a local friend whose son, close in age to my nephew, is studying music in Istanbul at this time. My nephew is studying in Valencia, and we thought it would be a really fun and memorable experience for them to meet, and maybe they would have decided to do some traveling together in the future or my friend's son could have visited my nephew in Valencia at some point this school year. All these plans went down the drain when we couldn't get visas. We are having to content ourselves with southern Spain instead."

Miinukset: "Coffee ahould have been served sometime before landing and not in the middle of the flight when everyone was asleep. Entertainement options were practically zero"

Plussat: "Everything was great but I particularly liked the meals. Many fine movies. However, The movie viewer on my wife's seat did not work."
Miinukset: "Flying from Barcelona to get a flight to Boston from Istanbul was a mistake on our part. We saved money but were awake for more than 34 hours"

Plussat: "The food was delicious. I like how whenever there was turbulence, it was announced and we were instructed to put on our seat belts."
Miinukset: "On my ticket, it said Philippine Airlines and there was no terminal mentioned. It's a good thing I didn't go to the Philippine Airlines terminal, which is in NAIA 2. I went to NAIA 1 because I checked the airport website beforehand. Once I was in the airport, people weren't sure if the flight mentioned in my ticket was the Turkish Airline flight because it said Philippine Airlines on my ticket. I also couldn't do an online check-in."

Plussat: "Not only was the aircraft antique and sporting old seats, but the crew also upgraded two families with infants to the business class where the screamed their hearts out to the obvious displeasure of the paying customers. A true Turkish delight... Unlikely to fly them again."

Miinukset: "In All my flights with them it is Sssoooo hot!!! They save on A/C??? I asked to cool the cabine - they did for 15 min and back to heat again . Managing seat assignment is impossible if you book through a website other than theirs . They don't have an "economy comfort " option"

Plussat: "I would definitely fly on Turkish Air again. The seats were roomy in comparison to other airlines I have flown on. The inflight entertainment was excellent in comparison as well. I thought the food and beverages were pretty good for an airline as well."
Miinukset: "Just the concern that people were not instructed to stay seated until the airplane came to a complete halt. People were out of their seats and getting luggage out of the overhead bins well before the plane had taxied up to the gate. Please make an announcement to keep passengers safe. Also, the cabin crew could have been a little more helpful to passengers. They kind of stood around and did nothing when a gentleman and his child got on the airplane and other people were clearly sitting in his seats. The man had to straighten out the situation with the people who were in the wrong seats. The flight crew needed to have been assertive, ask politely for people's boarding passes and taken care of the conflict, not the customer. My flight was late and I missed my connection to Seattle. Turkish Air did put us up for the night and provided meals without a hassle."

Plussat: "Boarding was tedious with like 6 checks of your passport but being safe is never a bad thing. No cost alcohol is always a plus and the food was good. Staff was super nice and accommodating."
Miinukset: "I intentionally chose an empty row but people kept shuffling. so many folks were standing blocking aisles. I think staff could do a better job to prevent that."

Plussat: "I flew Turkish Airlines this year - 2 domestic flights and 3 international - and every flight was great. The long-distance flight (Japan-Istanbul) especially. My seat was more comfortable than with USA companies I've used, I was fed on short-lap flights and provided a pillow (no extra charges), I had real milk to put in my coffee (not chemical creamer) and I didn't pay extra for baggage. Flights were on time, crews were friendly. I'll be using Turkish Airlines more in the future, for certain."

Miinukset: "Groud crew told the passanger off. You want to fly sit down now."

Plussat: "The extra security measure at IST gave us peace of mind given the travel warning the US had used involving Turkey. Second, the quality and quantity of food was fantastic and more than we've ever experienced in any airline."
Miinukset: "There was a large group of young people who were disruptive the entire flight from Istanbul to Chicago. It did not appear that their adult chaperones were doing anything to control them, nor did we see the flight crew intervene."

Plussat: "Excellent overall"

Plussat: "In general, service was of good quality. Crew very attentive. The film selection was outstanding. Routing was good. I would not hesitate to take this flight again. Seat are comfortable, although somewhat old-fashioned. In general, I think that this is an excellent airline, my choice for the future."
Miinukset: "There was some confusion in boarding, due to a gate change not clearly announced ahead of time. But I do not wish to overstate this, since I was satisfied in general."

Miinukset: "Wish services in Istanbul airport was better. Had to take a bus to the terminal and transfer directions and gate services was confusing and not very good. But this is not the airlines fault."

My twelve hours from Miami to Istanbul turned out to be less because of the amazing service I recieved. Very happy that this airline exist and cannot wait to go back and experience this great airline again."

Overall, totally dissatisfied ....felt that I was hung out to dry in at the Buenos Aires Airport!"

Last time flying Delta."

Plussat: "Inflight experience was fine. TVs didn’t work but Flight attendants are friendly on Delta, cramped seating - but not unlike other airlines."
Miinukset: "Regular fare seat assignment not available prior to gate . Airport concourse F - poor - limited services. Customer Service seemed uninterested and unable to provide service both on phone and at gate. I’m a frequent United flyer & today’s Delta service experience made me more loyal to UA."

Plussat: "We boarded close to on time, no hassles. Allowed my husband and me (retired military) to board early, thank you."
Miinukset: "LAX security is awful. We never left the airport (arrived LAX from Sydney AU) yet were forced thru security again. Had to remove shoes, was scanned and "frisked" by TSA to get to Denver. To go to Australia, Denver TSA waived the removal of shoes, skipped the scan for the metal detector and no one touched me, ditto for LAX on the trip to Sydney. Where's the uniformity or standards for TSA?? Why did I have to be subjected to this garbage on the way home?? This is why I despise flying. It makes no sense to me. This ruined what was a great vacation."

Plussat: "Not much. Boarding by "zone" works ok, but is no quicker than most other boarding methods."
Miinukset: "Boeing 767-400ER seats had no leg room for 6'+ traveller like me. The entertainment system was so old that there were no 115v outlets or USB ports. On a 7-hour flight, that is a significant problem for travellers today with multiple electronic devices. Finally, we were not told in advance that we had to go through security twice and through US Customs BEFORE leaving Dublin. So, the 6-hour layover at JFK was a complete waste of our time as we did not have to go through Customs there."

Plussat: "Free drinks and snacks - great entertainment system (please read this Frontier)!"

Plussat: "Everyone who has a kid knows how challenging certain things can be in a flight and for me the combination of a night flight interrupting my baby’sschedule + a full flight it equalized disaster. My daughter could not get comfortable for the love of life and I just felt horrible and frustrated and what sucked most was the 9 year old and her obese father siting in our row that kept giving us weird looks."
Miinukset: "There’s NO room in planes between seats. It’s 2018 and new planes must be done ASAP to accommodate people better. I’m 5’1” and 110 lbs but adding my 25lb daughter siting in my lap before she turns 2 is absurd to expect that it will be comfortable whatsoever for us or the people breathing next to us. Please DELTA, lead by example and make sure your planes are designed with more room in between and around the seats. In my opinion, every seat should be first class."

Plussat: "The staff really helped me out getting on standby so that I didn't have to wait for a 9 hour layover. Overall great experience and great staff."

Miinukset: "Poor communication, a 6 hour delay followed by a 7 hour layover (during which we had to sleep on an airport floor because Delta couldn't offer us any hotel vouchers). Gate agents disappeared after 7pm becuase they were due to be done with their shifts when our flight was originally supposed to leave at 6 pm. It felt like we were trapped in the movie The Terminal. Oh! And our bag was misrouted, because that was just how things went those 2 days. All in all a 6 hour trip turned into 18 hours. I could have driven home in that amount of time!"

Miinukset: "Arriving in SLC discovered out flight to Denver was CANCELLED! Had to reschedule to the next day. Not fun!"

Plussat: "The entertainment unit allowed me to watch the Denver Broncos game live which helped lessen the delayed departure and uncomfortable seating."
Miinukset: "Uncomfortable seating....too crowded!! We had a delayed departure by 30-40 minutes because of a computer download issue. Too many folks carrying carry-ons delayed boarding. I wish folks were not encouraged to go that route but to check baggage. This time of year gets even tougher with folks carrying Christmas presents and over sized personal items. Ugh. Not fun to travel this time of year."

Plussat: "App is good and convenient to use."
Miinukset: "The app went down just as we were getting ready to board and luckily i had a printed pass and it took some extra time to check in."

Miinukset: "We left late, it was delayed then maintenance issues. Twice. Seating was very tight and uncomfortable, no movies or entertainment at all. U.S. flights are the worst. Even on short flights with aeromexico outside the U.S. you get movies and food. Zero stars for comfort, food and entertainment."

Miinukset: "I don't like that I already completed this survey several days ago and have been receiving reminders to do so. I guess you don't have a good system in place for knowing who has and has not completed your surveys. That's too bad."

Delta claims it doesn't have to compensate for a late flight - just a cancelled one so guess which this was The baggage fees are obscene and the gouging of the customer is immoral. No wonder people hate the airlines."

For the life of me, I can't understand why it is necessary to go through security again after re-entering the country. Understandable that I have to go through customs, but going through security again is ridiculous."

Miinukset: "Somewhat claustrophobic and always wish the drop down tray table behind could be disconnected from my seat. When the passenger behind uses the tray as a set of bongo drums to keep beat with his headphones it is a pretty miserable trip."

Miinukset: "My flight from Detroit to Denver was suppose to land at 1:15 ish and I had an interview to make at 3:30 thinking that I would have plenty of time to grab my bags and and get a cab to greenwood which is where my interview was. The flight was delays almost 3 hours and I was not able to make my interview which was the whole reason I flew to Denver in the first place. I understand that things happen but now Im out of a possible job that I was interviewing for and I am also out the $250 that I spent on the flight. The flight was delayed because they didn't have a crew to fly the plane which blindside is always 20/20 however it seems like pretty poor planning."

Miinukset: "The flight was transferred to a smaller plane, either because there were few passengers (the first story we heard) or because of mechanical problems on the original craft (the second story). Business class was oversold as a result, and boarding was delayed for an hour while they waited for enough BC passengers to accept 800 euros for the downgrade to economy plus. They repeatedly threatened to cancel the flight rather than raise the offer. Eventually enough knuckled under and we were allowed to leave. Some no doubt missed connections because of this petty brinkmanship. The funny coda is that because the plane was so undersold, anyone in economy that wanted their own row could have one, while economy plus was packed with the embittered and downgraded."

Miinukset: "Bought these tickets almost a year in advance. Never given the option to select seats. Both my husband and I were stuck in the middle seats or not together on each leg of our flight. Food was horrible on every leg. Husbands tv did not work. I am petite and seats too small even for me. never again will o give this airline my money."

Miinukset: "Boarding was a 'free-for-all' with no filtering of Economy passengers by zone or seat row. Less effective than Emirates in this regard. The hot snack offered before arrival at Denver was served in the final 50 minutes of the 10 plus hour flight. This meant that the service and tray collection, including the cabin preparation for landing was very rushed."

I sat in the middle seat between two hours other men. It was a constant struggle arm space. After 7hours in the air I could not wait to get off the plane. If I didn't actually pay an extra €60 for the seat I may not feel bad but I feel like I might have been better off without paying for the "upgrade""

Several parents were there with the request to let us through to the toilet with small children and she smiled in our face and said "no, we will finish first and than you can go". She might be not fit for the job anymore, but KLM can't afford this kind of treatment."
