A toilet was blocked and temporarily unavailable. Some passengers were taking a long time and queues were building at different times."

The food was not great. Perhaps not qatar's fault(?) but we bought duty free alcohol in Brussels and took as carry on then after a layover in Doha we were advised Australian regulations prohibited us from taking it on board for the final leg - even though it was still sealed in the duty free bag. We were forced to check it protected only by some lightweight clothing and a thin back pack we had been using as cabin luggage. Fortunately it made it undamaged - but it would be better if we had been informed of this at Brussels."

Arriving transfer passengers must go through Turkish airport security. Turkish security did set up an operation right at the gate. This both expedited things and relieved the stress of going through the process far from the gate."
Miinukset: "Seat was very uncomfortable. The plane was an older Boeing 777 (it had no winglets) and I think the seat cushion was the original one. Turkish Airlines does not communicate with its passengers. If the flight is late (as both of ours were), you wait with no information as to when the flight leaves. The same lack of communication occurs once you on board. I joked to my wife that the cargo on a Fed-Ex flight is given more information."

The crew seemed irritated and we’re talking in the back quite a bit when we needed assistance. I was disappointed with this flight to be honest !"

Miinukset: "Had a layover in Toronto. From Toronto we flew to Istanbul and then Venice. While waiting in line to board in Toronto, I was told my carry-on luggage was too big and needed to be put under. I asked MULTIPLE times where my luggage would be- either Istanbul or Venice (final destination) and EVERY time I asked, I was told my luggage would be waiting for me in Venice. Once we arrived in Istanbul I asked AGAIN if my carry-on luggage was here or if it would be in Venice and I was told it would be in Venice. Once we arrived in Venice, my luggage was nowhere to be found. The lost luggage crew (and 90% of the people in Venice) were completely rude and acted like we were a huge inconvenience for them. (I've heard that many Europeans cannot stand Americans, but we were not being rude or obnoxious at all to anyone- we just wanted a quiet, romantic vacation.) So safe to say that it was an extremely rough start. We were in Venice for the Glass Art Society Conference in Murano and due to my luggage being lost, had missed the first day and a half, therefore wasting hundreds of dollars. Luckily my boyfriend's phone worked in order to spend our first two days of vacation (not to mention the amount of money spent on international calling costs) tracking down my luggage, but again dealt with completely rude people who barely helped us with any answers and even hung up on us multiple times (and I'd like to add that despite my frustration, I made sure that I was not speaking rudely one bit). The best answers we received were from the people at the Istanbul airport who told us that Venice received my luggage hours before I even called Istanbul- which I do not understand why the Venice airport did not tell me this because I spent all day speaking with them. Once I called back the Venice airport to confirm what the Istanbul airport told us, they said (once again rudely) that they called me on my phone but did not answer (which I already told them that my phone did not have any service and to call my boyfriend's phone number). So to sum up: I will never be flying to Venice ever again."

The crew did not distribute the Sri lankan landing cards onboard. This caused some confusions for first time travellers as they had to cone off the immigration queue and went to pick the card up and to complete. Some foreigners were unhappy about it."

No barriers for travelers so that people stand in cue but no one was following lines as there were none.. Will never fly with Srilankan airlines again ever.."

Miinukset: "The boarding in Colombo was typical for a lot of these airports I guess but I hate it. Go outside, cram in a bus, drive to the airplane and everyone fights to get in at once. Talking about an Airbus 330-300. Took an eternity to load"

Miinukset: "The boarding pass checker at the gate was all grumpy! Do folks in South Asia lose anything if they smile and greet a passenger? Perhaps she hates her job?!"
Plussat: "the vegetarian food on the second flight Colombo to Bangkok was really nice, good taste, comforting."

Plussat: "Very polite and courteous Service Attitude by crew although it was a short flight."
Miinukset: "There was not proper management for boarding n check in on Colombo airport, eventhough I was traveling in business class I had not been treated as priority customer."
Miinukset: "Customer service was abismal when I needed to add my infant son to reservations. Spoke with 10 different reps and spent about 2 hours total on the phone. Poor English."

Miinukset: "The food. Both my sons are vegan and there weren't any vegan options apart from crisps and nuts. Vegans are taking over the World so you need to be able to give them something to eat!"

Miinukset: "This Business-class seat is a proper rip-off. The only difference from Economy is the in-between seat is not used. No extra leg room whatsoever. Economy from Honolulu to Los Angeles I had more leg room then this one. Unacceptable response from the crew: "that's how it's been the last years"."

Miinukset: "The BREAKFAST wow CHILLED egg and bacon sandwich it may have been delicious in 1956 on an old Viscount but really substandard is an understatement LATE too tight to speed up ie spend more on fuel which increases the stress for me as now we are really close to missing the next leg but praise be - arrival was amazing once we got off the plane see above"
Miinukset: "We didn’t, have a wheel chare whan we arrived to Dublen we wait near 1 hair till they come"
Plussat: "In-flight entertainment was good."
Miinukset: "Food choices were not good-cold creme cheese tomato sandwich for breakfast and horrible curry chicken for dinner. Staff was young and seemed somewhat inexperienced. They were constantly rushing and couldn’t keep up with servicing customers. When we looked at a make steward to let him know that we were finished with our trays, his response was “give me a second!” Unacceptable customer service!!!"
Plussat: "Amazing crew, kind and patient"
Miinukset: "The configuration of seating in business class allows for no privacy and my connecting flight just had food and front seats for business class. Our three across seats were the same as everyone else."

Miinukset: "Seats are cramped for elbow room but leg room is OK. Reasonable comfort."

Plussat: "Crew was very attentive and food and drink good as on most flight to and from City Airport. Seats very comfortable compared to main fleet. City Flyer is still worth paying the extra which most flight by main fleet ex Heathrow or Gatwick are not."

Plussat: "My first domestic flight with BA for years yet the service imo has got even slicker and better. From check-in to boarding to disembarking and all ahead of schedule, I doubt if I would fly domestically with anyone else."
Miinukset: "I had a drink ( whiskey)and requested for some snacks to go with the drink but was told they had only pretzels and nothing else"

Miinukset: "Prior to departure, we were told to check in our carry-on luggage due to flight overbooking..... Turned out that there were lots of overhead compartments/bins were totally empty. We were not prepared for that so cluld not pack personal items accordingly"
Plussat: "flawless flight, pleasant captain, friendly crew, free drinks, better than average food, enough food, toilet rooms not crowded, entertainment as good as can be expected, charging stations, reclining seats to the extreme"
Miinukset: "music could have more variety. window shade jammed... could not close, light broken, impossible to extricate oneself from seats due to reclined seats in front."
Plussat: "Crew professionalism and on-schedule."
Miinukset: "Luggage drop off took a while to complete."
Plussat: "I chose British airway relying on safety record depite being comparatively expensive."
Miinukset: "The outer seat arm was faulty. It couldn’t be folded back, so getting out or in was very difficult. It is certainly risky in case of emergency . I asked the hostess to report it. Nothing complementary offered to passengers .Other reputable airlines do, such as a drink , or chocolate bar ."
Miinukset: "Sat near gate waiting 15 min for ground crew. Flight was on-time and weather fine so there was no reason for a crew not to be there. Then sat at gate because no attendant available to move the jetway. Again, poor planning or cut staff to save money at the cost of timely service."
Miinukset: "5h before take off, it was impossible to have 2 seats next to another!!! we were even on different floors in the plane! the employees at the counter and then in the Heathrow airport were not able to join. on mentioned that the plane had been overbooked. I thought these practices had stopped. only the employee at the gate managed to move us to be at least on the same floor of the plane. very disappointed."
