Arrived almost 2 days late (the original was direct, the United had layovers) and missed a planned trip to Neuschwanstein castle. Flying from Munich- The entertainment screen was broken, completely unusable. After a hard reset by the flight attendant several times... Still broken. She said she thought it would fix itself once we were at cruising altitude. Nope. Notified the flight attendant who said vaguely "I'll see what I can do..." Never came back to check, never got offered any sort of compensation (even something like a free mixed drink would have been nice), offer to move seats, nothing. So- ten hours with no entertainment/nothing to watch, just a malfunctioning screen. Food was mediocre. We boarded late, and left almost 1 hour late because they had to wait for an employee (who was not working, just getting a ride back) to board. Literally there and back with Lufthansa was a fiasco. On top of it, we have been back for 3 weeks and are still waiting to hear back from Lufthansa customer service. Apparently they only communicate by email with complaints. Not over the phone. So after repeated emails, just radio silence. Terrible airline."

The food was wonderful. The service was wonderful. The flight left on time and arrived early. The seat was comfy. Really nice flight."

Miinukset: "Despite the fact that I knew I would miss my connecting flight in Frankfurt because of the delay in Switzerland, the gate agent had no control to schedule me on an alternative flight. I missed my flight coming out because the connection was so tight and the Frankfurt airport so large so I tried to adjust things in Geneva to be proactive. The agent called his manager who said he couldn't do anything. As a result, I did indeed miss my flight in Frankfurt and ended up having to spend the night in Frankfurt. I got back 20 hours later than I should have, and all because Lufthansa doesn't empower their gate agents to use common sense to help their customers."

With the airport shuttle(CDVAL) to our airport hotel closed, they offered no assistance despite of my request. Simply asked us to take a taxi (when all taxi stands are abandoned at 2AM). Beware if traveling with family."
Miinukset: "They have a terrible communication problem, they never communicated why the flight was late, they never communicated what they were doing or what was happening. Bad customer service. Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. Without that tickets we can not claim the bags. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

Miinukset: "The ground crew in CDG was very disappointing and unprofessional and very specifically in the luggage area. When I was told that my carry on luggage exceeded the allowed weight I argued that my luggage was weighed in Cairo and that it was less than the 12 Kg allowed weight. The Air France attendant then waved with annoyance to speak with her supervisor. When I approached her supervisor, who was speaking with another Air France employee, she looked annoyed and said just just to to booth #7 or 8 that handles excess luggage issues. My reaction is to avoid traveling through CDG in the future and I will focus on flying with Lufthansa."

Plussat: "British Airways rescheduled our flights. The BA website was easy to find out how to claim additional costs incurred from the rescheduled flight."
Miinukset: "The flight was rescheduled within 18 hours of departure. We were in Spain on vacation which meant attempting to figure out how to get home with Iberia at the Madrid airport, who helped but was super agitated with us the entire time. When we asked for advice on how to proceed, as this has never happened to us before, they just kept telling us it was British Airways fault and that they had no answers for us. This took about two hours plus an additional hour back at the hotel to cancel our reservations in London and figure out how we were going to get reimbursed for the extra night at the hotel and additional costs. It would've been nice to get all of this information in an email, with the new ticket and instructions on how to claim the extra costs instead of us running around and taking time out of our vacation."
Plussat: "Not much - the entertainment choices were good and the flight was safe and smooth. Plus my bag turned up from Helsinki, Heathrow, Singapore, sydney"
Miinukset: "The biz class seats on BA are just horrible. The biz class service - BA aren’t even trying to match other airlines. A stingy snenities kit and a blanket doesn’t come close to qantas or emerites. The food is an embarrassment - microwave dinners over heated is a a generous description. Crew do as little as possible (they don’t want to be they’ve either)"

Plussat: "Once the flight was boarding/ boarded it was seamless. The crew were more than happy to meet or exceed your needs with snacks/ meals, blankets and even drinks."
Miinukset: "Flight was delayed 1hr and 50min and the supervisor was less than accommodating even after my wife and I had told her we had 2more connecting flights this was going to affect. Due to the delay, we spent an additional $211 on flights and spent the night at the airport."

Plussat: "The women at BA in Chicago O'Hare airport were awesome Christine, Carole, Diane & ankther one but I forgot the last lady's name. Very polite attentive and professional. We had a difficult situation & they helped us get through our problem with the less stress as possible!"
Miinukset: "Airplane food was a bit below average. Also there was not a good selection in music. I did not recognize 95% of the option of music to listen to."
Miinukset: "The woman who worked the British Airways desk in Helsinki and checked our bags is not suited for a customer service position. The screens on the British Airways long haul planes are tiny and difficult to operate. A 2,5 h flight where you can't even get water complimentary is appalling. Honestly all of your competitors offer a snack and beverages complimentary even if the flight is only 45 min. The boarding for London to Dallas flight was very confusing and could have been made easier with grouping the boarding instead of tons of people piling up to rush in at once."

If BA can't figure out how to get the luggage transferred within that short of a period, they should not offer flights that close to each other. Secondly, I left a really nice down pillow and bag on my flight from London to Ibiza and I checked the lost in found at the Ibiza airport"

Miinukset: "Delays both before takeoff and after landing. Unorganized boarding--what happened to the old idea of boarding from the back of the aircraft forward?? Making all passengers shuffle through a long queue is really stupid."
Plussat: "Plenty of leg room"
Miinukset: "Food Options were limited, Due to extra security in Gatwick with a 1 hr Layover, we were nearly left behind. To finish it off British Airways lost our luggage. I am very disappointed with British Airlines. This is the absolute worst experience flying I have ever had. I do not recommend anyone flying British Airways."
Plussat: "I had left my walking stick somewhere at the airport, couldn't find it and had given it up for lost. What a surprise, once I was seated on plane, to hear an announcement for the traveler who had left a 'walking stick'; I told the nearest steward, and he got it for me - BA rocks! Overall, the air crew were so professional, (unlike certain things happening on other airlines at the moment), and I was very happy, even with my ovo lacto veg meal, (it really was tasty)."

Miinukset: "We purchased upgrades to an exit row seat because my knee locks up when cooped up for that long. They changed the plane and I understand that happens but they denied our refund request with 7 days deadline to re-request. So now we have to spend valuable vacation time dealing with their incompetency"

Miinukset: "It was a full flight of 10:40 hours and one of the bathrooms was out of service. How can they do full, LONG HAUL flights with limited bathroom facilities. The seats were past their prime. The passenger in front of me was large and every time he moved, the seat pushed way back and I felt like he was going to end up in my lap."
Miinukset: "they lost my luggage and they still don't know how they are going to get it to me. and their customer service is terrible and very unhelpful"
Plussat: "Nice food, polite, warm and competent staff, blankets and pillows at every seat. Kids enjoyed all the shows. You knew you were not flying an airline that cut corners."

Miinukset: "Worst experience I've ever had. I've been traveling for years but never experienced an airlines this unprofessional. I have received 4 emails which all said my flight had a 3 hour delay but did not notify me it will be on time until 20 minutes before departure from Barcelona. Of course, I Went to the information desk to see if they can still board me on the flight but they said no although it still didn't leave. They charged me 115 Euros a ticket but ONLY accepted cash. I was not flying alone and it didn't carry hundreds of euros with me. I had to wait hours just for the exchange to open. The crew at the information thought this was hilarious by the way, particularly the supervisor who had an extremely cheap red hair dye who refused to give me her name then put a scarf over her name tag to hide it. After I thanked the man who was helping me, she naturally yelled from across the information desk "HE SHOULDNT DO THIS!!!!" ... I said thank you? NEVER FLY THIS AIRLINES! I hope they get their act together before this airlines goes out of business!"

Miinukset: "Plane was scheduled to leave at 8:15 and suddenly was changed and we left at 7:45. Flight attendants then forced us to check our small carry on items despite being told they were for a wedding the next day. Subsequently the bags were lost and then found four days earlier. Fortunately, we found our baggage but had to improvise for the wedding. Airport lost and found said that happens all the time with Vuelling and a baggage claim stub should just be discarded as worthless."

Miinukset: "two adults one infant 3 piece of luggage is $140 euro. So infant bag is $70 euro where as adult is $35. We deserve $35 euro refund."
Miinukset: "Flight was 2 hours late. Incredibly messy boarding procedure. Then they kept everyone in the plane for more than one hour with no air conditioning. Crew had to open the aircraft doors to let some air into the cabin."

Miinukset: "Apparently Vueling, Iberia's cheap cousin, saves a middle seat in row 1 and charges more. A lot more! I was pressured in Helsinki into letting Swissair, the contracted boarding agent it seems, fill that seat, 1/2 of which is what you get for paying 'business' in a plane that has all economy seating. There was no logic or ability to board before economy and indeed my boarding pass stated economy. The woman that was added to the oversold seat got intoxicated and was half in my seat. I will never fly this again and it's not worth the stress to fight for some refund but I was taken advantage of with charging me a 300+ euro seat for this joke of a flight in a "better" level of service."

Miinukset: "The sub Vueling is impossible to communicate with in anyway. They are totally non responsive. There is no way to get them to respond or contact them. I called Iberia and canceled the flight, and the Iberia agents I spoke with, had no to reach Vueling, although it was an Iberian flight. I did not take the flight and found another means of transportation."
