This flight was excellent. Left and arrives ahead of schedule. The plane was only half full and they actually let people lay down in rows of empty seats. The crew was super kind to a large family with a bunch of kids who wanted to be closer together. I think Delta purposely avoids turbulence more than other airlines because I never experience jarring flights, even the red eyes. They served two meals onboard (which were honestly pretty gross but they are doing their best). Also the newer planes have really cool lighting that helps with jet lag because they mimic the sunset and sunrise colors, and have polarized windows that extend “night time” until they are ready to land in the morning. Pretty cool.

Delta's economy seats are so tiny that even a small person like myself finds it agonizing to ride in them for a moderate-length flight. We need aggressive regulation of our airlines to prevent the unconscionable and humiliating way they treat economy passengers. It's not safe, healthy or humane to ask human beings to sit for hours in tiny spaces with very little air (on top of everything else, the plane was mercilessly hot the whole time). Next time I will choose a European carrier--even the discount Euro carriers are better than any US airline."

Plussat: "I was able to squeeze back into Comfort Economy and make my destination, after a messed up miles upgrade - have to be grateful for the small things, right?"
Miinukset: "I was actually upgraded to Business Class through a LH miles award, however, that upgrade was not honored, despite the fact that I had a confirmation email from them. I had to first get to Frankfurt to even negotiate this problem. At the departure point, LH was unable to furnish me a boarding pass to my NY flight. After racing though the huge airport at max speed to make this connection, I was treated rudely at the gate in Frankfurt by LH short tempered ground staff, to the point of even being accused of being the source of the problem and being late for boarding (when I was only accorded an hour connection through this booking, and raised this concern with LH prior). Lastly, the ground crew took away my connecting flight boarding pass and nearly forgot to give me back my luggage tag. The flight crew was Ok, but just did a bare minimum to keep up with the packed and overbooked flight. To top of the joy, I got food poisoning after landing in NYC - not all food they serve was in sealed containers, and it must have been enough to cause a day of misery that followed my arrival - I can assure you that the late time and taxing and docking delays in NYC took away any opportunity to have a normal dinner, and LH food was all I had all day... Not the usual LH experience, but I may give them a break for the next few trips."

We waited 5 hours to rebook a destination back to the USA and traveling lasted 24hours. Right now I'm not sure if I'll be refunded my tickets for thedomestic airline flight. WE will NEVER want to fly out of Frankfurt and especially with Lufthansa. I have to say the people at the service counters were very nice and helpful but it took 5 hours to get serviced and were missed 2 possible connecting flights. Lufthansa was a good airline but that was 20 years ago. The airport is too big now has too many delays so I'll avoid it at all cost."

Koneen tarjoilun hinnat olivat kalliita
Matkustamohenkilökunnan käytös ja toiminta ala-arvoista
Ihan hyvin toimi kaikki, paitsi jalkatilaa oli melko vähän pitkälle pohjoismaalaiselle.
Koneeseen pakkautumista voisi järkevöittää, esim. rivi tai muutama kerrallaan, jottei syntyisi ryntäylyä ja hässäkkää.
Check in Pariisissa oli vanhanaikasta. Jos on matkatavara menossa rumaan, tai haluaa boardingpassi paperiversiona joutuu odottamaan että check in avautuu.
Henkilökunta oli ihan ystävällistä. Koneeseennousu oli hidas. Tarjottavat ovat nolla-arvoisia, vain lasi vettä ilmaiseksi, ei ole toimiva konsepti ollenkaan.
Kone lähti myöhässä ja henkilökunnalla turha puheripuli kovaäänisiin
Ostettiin lentolippu yhdessä, ei siis pitänyt olla epäselvää, että ollaan pariskunta. Meidät kuitenkin sijoitettiin istumaan koneessa kauas toisistamme. Pärjäämme toki itsenäisesti, mutta moinen homma vaikuttaa lähinnä kiusanteolta. Eikä suinkaan asiakaspalvelulta. Terveiset siis Finnairille tai muille, jotka olivat järkkäilleet istumapaikat.
Finnair siirsi lentomme vuorokaudella eteenpäin. Ilmoitus tuli tuntia ennen koneen lähtöä kun oli jo toimitettu matkalaukut koneeseen ja tultu turvatarkastuksesta läpi ja odoteltiin koneeseen nousua lähtöportilla. Käsittämätöntä, tieto ylibuukkauksesta oli varmasti tiedossa paljon aikaisemmin. Kari ja Marja Alatyppö
Palvelu oli erinomaista, kone oli siisti ja aikataulut pitivät hyvin. Ihan pieni suma syntyi koneeseen noustessa kun eri boarding-ryhmät sumppuuntuivat putkeen. Pieni tauko boarding-ryhmien välissä olisi tehnyt siirtymästä vielä asteen sujuvamman.
Hyvä, nopea lento, Hki lentoasemalla hyvä palvelu
lentoemännät hoiti tehtävänsä hyvin. Koneen ilmastoinnissa oli vikaa, tuli vilu.
Premiere economy -luokkaan voisi kuulua ruoka
Lento myöhässä 9h ja lähtö seuraavan vuorokauden puolella. Ei mitään tietoa finnairilta kuinka toimitaan, miten yöpyminen hoidetaan, mitä korvataan jne. Surkea suoritus.
Asiakkaita suositellaan menemään kentälle hyvissä,ajoin, mutta finskin lähtöselvitys ja bag drop portit avautuvat, aina, liian myöhään. (munchen)
Edelleen toivoisin edes kahvia maksutta, Air France osaltaan tarjoaa jopa pientä syötävää ja muuta juotavaa.
Koneen kapteeni ei kertonut mitään muuta lennosta kuin lähtiessä lennon kesto. Olisin halunnut tietoa esim lentoreitistä.
Lento oli lähes 3 tuntia myöhässä emmekä saaneet mitään tietoa mistään. Emme saaneet myöskään vouchereita.
Finnair arpoi edellisenä iltana check-in:ssä mieheni riville 29 ja minut riville 16 eikä näitä voinut muuttaa. Finnair rahastaa kaikesta, vaikka ei tietääkseni ole ’halpalentoyhtiö’. Mustikkamehumukillinen on ainut, mikä kuuluu hintaan. Menolennolla KLM tarjosi suolaisen ja makean välipalan kaikkine juomineen (kahvi, mehu, virvoitusjuoma, olut, viini). Kännykän voi ladata. For free.

Henkilökunnan ystävällisyys oli hyvää, mutta pienille reittilennoille Suomen sisällä olisi mukavaa saada pikku suolaista.

Kun Finnair ei tarjoa muuta kuin mehua ja vettä niin olisi mukavaa että edes voisi ostaa jotain vähän laadukkaampaa syötävää kuin nuudeleita!
Henkilökunta oli tosi ystävällistä ja muutenkin koko koneessa oli hyvin rauhallinen tunnelma. Tosin kone oli hyvin vajaa.
Ei mitään hyvää Finnairilla, ei edes ruokaa tai snackseja lennoilla. Ja lennot myöhässä, kuten tämäkin oli taas.

The space for economy was reasonable. The flight was delayed 2 hours, changed gates 3 times, the food was mediocre, the entertainment was outdated, the worst part of the flight was the service by the crew , total lack of hospitality, bad manners, lack of care.

The economy got their bags before 1st and business."

Not enough legroom to move much during the flight and not enough aisle space to get around with the plane so full. Have made flights twice as long on the 747 and were able to get up and walk."

On such a long flight it would have been nice to have been offered water/tea/coffee without paying. But it was OK. I liked that we were allowed to find empty seats and move to a less tightly packed area of the plane. It would have been good if more people wore masks. It was GREAT that masks were offered - and they had fall colored leaves on them. Thank you Norse Airlines for providing a non-stop flight from NYC to Berlin. When BerlinAir died there were no non-stop flights available.
Boarding runs smoothly. The temperature is too cold so not comfortable at all (you are not given a blanket but have to buy one). Food and drinks are expensive.
The BER airport requires the most walking of any airports I've ever visited. There were two (!) complete security checks required for this flight, and staff just hung out, chatting before allowing people to pass through. Can't recommend this.
i could not get into my booking to upgrade anything until 24hrs before the flight- and then it was too late to order food, and other services......I was given the last seat on the plane and was very squashed the entire flight....
Customer service was completely unhelpful and short. It was over 8 hours long, and no flights attendants offered water unless you purchased food.
Don't expect food or drinks for free, be careful with your luggage, it will be extra and if you bring any, make sure you pay ahead on line. But otherwise great airline for a super price. Will definetly fly them again.
Didn't even get water on a nearly 8 hour flight
Plane was new, boarding was smoothe and fast. One of my flights was cancelled only a couple of days before my trip, soo I had to cut the length of my trip by 5 days in order to get back home. Flight attendants were not very attentive. Leg room was terrible! I’m only 5 feet tall and I felt cramped.

Norse will charge you for everything. We were charged £50 for a carry-on bag. The only thing they serve on a 7-hour flight that you don't have to pay for is water. The in-flight meals needed to be bought in advance, but this was not made clear in any of the information we received prior to boarding. In-flight meals were $30. We will never use this airline again and advise other travelers to do the same.
New airline with brand new 787 airplanes - clean and comfortable. This is a low-cost airline. You pay a-la-cart for everything, including soda, food, blankets, even water. However, if you plan in advance, you can arrange for those things on your own and get a very good price for the flight. I had two transatlantic flights with them so far and both of them had nearly empty planes which provided just about everyone an entire row of seats and allowed for stretching out during the flight. Overall good experience.
Das Boarding war verwirrend, wir mussten nochmal von dem Gate an dem wir schon waren zurück zu einer Kontrolle um wieder zu dem gleichen Gate zu kommen. Es gab nur überteuertes Essen und Getränke im Flieger, für so einen langen Flug nichts inklusive...
Travelers be warned: you are charged for everything. Food, headphones, any drink other than water, checking in, overhead baggage. We will not use this airline again.
Fantastic experience flying Norse all around!
We were able to upgrade to first class for a decent price which made the flight so much better. The crew was kind and attentive. Having booked through a 3rd party website (Kiwi) made it a little more difficult to manage my flight.
Need a bit more leg room for comfort.
I know this is a budget flight but no pillow for an 8 hr overnight flight? No food or drink except water unless you pay? It just seems inhuman to me. Otherwise the flight was fine
This is my first time flying with Norse Atlantic. Seems like a good airline. Nice, clean, new airplane with all expected features and comforts. Flight crew is very nice and efficient. Obviously, this is a low-cost carrier -- so you will be charged for anything beyond just a seat on the plane. There is no free food or drink, not even coffee or soda is free. Other than that very good flight experience.
Crew members were so pleasant and always there if i needed anything.
Highly recommended free water/snacks/food for such long flight, or Provide more food options for purchase.
Some people got meals but I never had the opportunity to sign up for a meal at booking so I didn’t eat for a 9 hour flight. They had no drinks, no blankets or pillow either - and the movie selection was very small.
Due to no fault of our own we missed our connection and no one could help us. We had to spend the night in a hotel, rebook our own tickets and pay again!
it’s budget airline. so cheap and cheerful. the food on board had mould on it and was returned. No attempts to give us a new one or equivalent, other than the fact that the air hostess said she will take it of us and take a picture of it. I would suggest people to take their own food and drinks, purely for health and safety. So you don’t get seriously sick whilst on holiday.

What I liked: I was not awoken from sleep by constant interaction with flight crew through sales and marketing adverts. What I did not like: 1. Seats were smaller than on other planes. Not being able to select a seat for free can place people in dangerously confined space with no regard for their safety or well being. For some people a middle seat which is too small for their body size can put them and others at risk. 2. Exorbitant costs for check in luggage and exaggerated restrictions on luggage. Check in luggage allows passengers to bring items that are not allowed in the cabin. The weight of check in luggage does not effect the overall weight of the flight or fuel consumption if limited to the same weights. The extra fees and restrictions imposed by Norse Airlines causes haggling, or harrassing of passengers over luggage which leads to delays and more customer service costs for the airlines which more than offset the cost of simple baggage handlers. They make travel logistics much more difficult for passengers overall. 3. No wifi, not even available for purchase. In flight wifi helps passengers organize for arrival plans.

The economy fare apparently doesn't include drinking water. We checked in on line but needed to check in a second time at the airport. There was no separate line for people who only needed a new boarding pass. At least forty people in front of us were checking baggage. We were charged a second time for our carry on baggage. Apparently the payment we had made through Kayak was not related to the airline and I am struggling to get a refund for the duplicate payment.
If you pay for seat, luggage and food it ups up to a British airways flight and sorry but you can’t compare!

I had not remembered to ask for special meal though I have gluten allergy, and the staff were amazingly kind and somehow found me one extra gluten free meal for my flight. They were really good and helpful.
Too cold the whole flight
Everything was great, the only complaint was that there were full open rows after take off and the crew would not let people move to those rows without paying for those seats which was very frustrating.

I liked knowing exactly what my luggage allowance was beforehand. I liked the lower Norse price. The direct flight was excellent. I was happy with everything. I would have appreciated being offered water more frequently but if Norse don't have the time and staff to do that I understand. It's a miracle to be able to catch any plane nowadays. We can't be so fussy until the industry recovers from the coronavirus impacts.
The USB outlets were not charging our phones.
I was surprised at the airline and crew and the whole experience. Amazing honestly for the money and I fly 2-3 times a month. I’m definitely going to use them as much as I can.
It was difficult to order a meal and I ended up not being able to do it so we had to pack our own food. We weren't even offered water.
Flight was not full so we had plenty of space. Brought our own food but what we saw on board seemed to be ok. Great staff. Smooth boarding. Long overseas flight we believe you could at least provide some complimentary coffee and tea.

Traveling for 8 hours, and paying a $840 ticket the airline should provide a meal and stop charging people for it. The meal provided wasn’t even worth of the price plus the meals on the menu were completely different from what they had available. The same applies for the headset and blankets. I travel excessively and never had to deal with this situation were the most elementary things to be provided to the people according to this airline they charged for it. I will not consider this airline in the future.
I want to first thank your amazing customer service team who were incredibly responsive to any of my queries. I received email responses within minutes each time! Also I was in premium light class and the leg room is the best in the business. And the seats recline a generous amount and are like a recliner chair. Really excellent flight and I will be a frequent flyer.
