I did not get an email or text alert relating to the delay. When I checked in at 9:00pm, the counter agent did not alert me to the change in departure time. It wasn't until I looked at the Departure board in the Avianca lounge did I know of the 3+ hr. delay. When we finally boarded, at least the captain was kind enough to explain the reason for the delay - Avianca needed to change aircrafts, then the originally slated captain called in sick and his replacement had to wait out the required time off as he had just completed a long haul flight from Canada to Colombia. Great job running a company Avianca..."

There was no soap, The floor as still wet from urine and tp was still there. I was disguisted. Also there were only one bathroom in the back of the plane, which must have been a way to get more available seats. If other airplanes take that tactic, I'll stop flying altogether."

I have flown through bogota 10 times and the line is always over an hour long. This is insanity! I have visited 30 countries and never have experienced a mess like this. I hate flying Avianca out of bogota and will pick other airlines because of the crazy lines. I will fly into Latin America using Avianca but I will always use a separate airline to leave because of the mess."

Plussat: "Easily the most comfortable I've ever been in TATL economy. Lufthansa's 747-8 is set up strangely: the main deck is arranged First - Business - Economy - Prem. Economy - Economy. This means that if you can book a seat in the forward economy mini-cabin, you get dedicated cabin crew, no other passengers walking through your space to get to the bathroom, plenty of bin space, and – best of all – a lot of aisle space to stretch your legs. Row 16 aisle seats are especially good, as the bulkhead between J and Y doesn't extend all the way, and therefore you can stretch your feet out. Food was actually excellent (for economy), hot and flavorful and generous, with snacks available mid-flight. Beverages also tops – gotta love Lufthansa for offering Campari (!) and more than one wine choice."
Miinukset: "Entertainment (music and movies at least) was up-to-date but not very interested. Boarding and transit security in Frankfurt was anxiety-inducing – between getting to the US departures area and additional screening, it took more than an hour from deplaning to getting in line. Boarding w/o group numbers was an exercise in patience. And the terminal wifi is so spotty!"

Plussat: "I was able to squeeze back into Comfort Economy and make my destination, after a messed up miles upgrade - have to be grateful for the small things, right?"
Miinukset: "I was actually upgraded to Business Class through a LH miles award, however, that upgrade was not honored, despite the fact that I had a confirmation email from them. I had to first get to Frankfurt to even negotiate this problem. At the departure point, LH was unable to furnish me a boarding pass to my NY flight. After racing though the huge airport at max speed to make this connection, I was treated rudely at the gate in Frankfurt by LH short tempered ground staff, to the point of even being accused of being the source of the problem and being late for boarding (when I was only accorded an hour connection through this booking, and raised this concern with LH prior). Lastly, the ground crew took away my connecting flight boarding pass and nearly forgot to give me back my luggage tag. The flight crew was Ok, but just did a bare minimum to keep up with the packed and overbooked flight. To top of the joy, I got food poisoning after landing in NYC - not all food they serve was in sealed containers, and it must have been enough to cause a day of misery that followed my arrival - I can assure you that the late time and taxing and docking delays in NYC took away any opportunity to have a normal dinner, and LH food was all I had all day... Not the usual LH experience, but I may give them a break for the next few trips."

We waited 5 hours to rebook a destination back to the USA and traveling lasted 24hours. Right now I'm not sure if I'll be refunded my tickets for thedomestic airline flight. WE will NEVER want to fly out of Frankfurt and especially with Lufthansa. I have to say the people at the service counters were very nice and helpful but it took 5 hours to get serviced and were missed 2 possible connecting flights. Lufthansa was a good airline but that was 20 years ago. The airport is too big now has too many delays so I'll avoid it at all cost."

Instead, they rebooked us on the next day's flight a full 24 hours after, refusing to rebook us on earlier flights on other carriers. Their customer service was as bad as I've ever experienced. Multiple agents admitted their company is terrible and doesn't care about its customers. The indifference to our situation was surreal. Lesson learned."
Miinukset: "We were never prompted to pay for our check in baggage at the time of purchase and so when we showed up we were forced to pay 85 euros for one checked bag for an international flight on top of a ticket that already cost more than $250. The luggage restrictions were never shown previously. Will never fly TAP Portugal again."

You can't have that in an enclosed space. In this day and age of so many people having food allergies to nuts, why would you serve a dessert with almonds?? My daughter almost ate it because there was no warning label. It scares me to think what might have happened at 12,000 feet."

Miinukset: "I purposely got a seat in the front row for extra leg room next to my two friends whose tickets I paid for. The TV in my seat was broken and I therefore could not at all watch TV unless I moved to another seat. I ended up not being able to sit with my friends for the entire seven-hour flight. The flight was delayed multiple times. The first time it was delayed because they were doing an extra security search by hand in the Gated area awaiting to board the plane. I have never seen this in my life and it was definitely started. Then we were on board the plane for almost an hour before they made an announcement that they found a broken part on the plane and had to switch planes. It was all very fishy. Quite frankly that I want my money back."

Announcements are not heard in headphones, which in emergency situations could be dangerous. Noise reducing headphones supplier are effective in the noise reduction function, but not high quality audio resolution, with some dialogue intelligible. Business class seat wasn't a full recline as are those of most competitors, but it was comfortable. I didn't see any snack offerings that most other airlines have available between meals."

We then SPRINTED across the whole Madrid airport and then when we arrived to second plane was TWO HOURS delayed. The staff always seemed to be working, but was completely inefficient in getting anything done. It took them 20 minutes to respond to our notice (we pressed the air attendant button on our seats) and then told us we couldn't get snacks because they were giving out pizzas, which took another hour. Every single part of our flight was delayed and inefficient... with no reason ever being given. It was pretty miserable overall and I will likely never use Air Europa ever again."
Miinukset: "I had to add luggage into the booking. In short, that is impossible to do on the website, and very little information about luggage in the booking procedure. So, the passenger didn't take any changes and asked me to book flight with another airline. Which I did, and found out that canceling is not a thing that you do either...."

On the way back personal entertainment system was very, very lagi, additionally reset itself during movie fief times, and from where I was seating other people had the same issue. Coordination at airport was also not the best after landing at JFK, because we spend almost 50 minutes in airplane waiting for docking."

Miinukset: "My partner was really uncomfortable, as the distance between seats is pretty insufficient. I was only comfortable because I am a particularly short person. Also, it was a little disappointing that the TVs on our first flight didn't work and that there were only two TVs for the whole back cabin during the second flight. That is not the end of the world, though, and I think that even on a budget airline, seat sizes are unfortunate. Also, the timing of the movies was really strange. They couldn't fit in two movies for an 8 hour flight because they were timed poorly."

She made a change and said it wasn't necessary to pay. I was very happy. When I got on the plane, I realized she never gave me an emergency exit seat."

I had a visa ans the right papers to fly and she told me i had to make a ESTA. WHEN I ALREADY HAD MY VISA!!! SHE did not know what she was doing snd i had to spent 34 dollars at the airport because an agency made it for me. When i got in madrid airport the flight attendance told me that the Esta was not necessary for me as i had a visa. So the woman in barcelona got me crazy and I spent my money i wasted my time for nothinf and i almost miss my plane!!!!! Embarassing how they can have workers like that!!!!! Terrible!!!"
easy and ontime, the only downside was TSA at JFK. extremely rude, in fact, it was not very busy that day, and 2 of the TSA agents were just making fools of themselves, yelling at passengers and treating them like cattle. Everyone was complaining about them but I think they were all afraid to confront them about their behaviour because they thought it would cause a delay. I do not care about any of that and I opened my mouth and told them there behavoiur was unprofessional and rediculous.

Excellent experience! I booked through chat deal, and after I booked, I read some bad reviews.....I found that was not the case.....I had to change my ticket before the flight and customer service took care of the change with one phone call and even got me a refund, even though I did not buy travel insurance. The planes were on time an surprisingly comfortable. I just had a great experience throughout the whole process. I'll definitely use them again.

The transfer from terminal 4 to terminal 1 was horrible at jfk taking buses and walking outside of the terminal and the TSA was horrible and slow

The return flight food was more than disappointing. After two weeks of fine Italian food the fare was only fit for prison.
The flight left 20 minutes late arrived about ten minutes lates. It took 30 minutes to revive our bags even though priority. The flight and crew were fantastic.

Royal jordanian Website says check in closed 45 minutes before departure. In reality, it close 60 minutes before. Due to another flight delay, we arrived 50 minutes before. We didn't get our flight and had to but other very expensive tickets for the same flight the next day. Very disappointing.

The flight was shaking the whole time. We paid for kosher and gluten free, and we didn’t get it and as a family, we paid for sitting together and they put us separately. The crew was very unimpressed It looks like they don’t care. It’s looks like they don’t even care from our situation. Very poor flight will never book again with ITA.
The entertainment didn’t work we order food gluten-free and kosher and they promised me they will have it and we pay for it and still on the flight. We didn’t get what we paid for. The plane was shaking the whole flight.
I would highly recommend to anyone to fly this airlines. I would fly with them again, the flight and crew were amazing, the only thing that wasn't so good was the food but no big deal. I'd still fly with them again for another long flight. I had lots of room with the seat as well.
Honestly the flight was great, the flight crew was great. I would absolutely fly with them again for another long flight like this. The food was the only thing that wasn't so great but not that big of a deal...I would highly recommend to anyone

The ticket counter did not even open until 8:30 AM. They could not find our reservation even though we had a confirmation number. After about 20 minutes they finally found our reservation. They would not let my daughter and son-in-law book a seat online because they had an infant. So they had to get seats at the ticket counter which by this time there was not any decent seats left.
We were delayed leaving so we missed our connection. They paid for all of the travelers with us to get a hotel room but the hotel sold out and some people had to sleep in the lobby. All in all a pretty horrible experience.
Flight was awful. Team wouldn’t check our bags to final destination.

A few things, the boarding process was very bumpy and complicated with an interview and things that seems out of order. Once in the plane I think the entertainment was very poor. They advertise wifi, and tv programs as well phone signal and none of it worked properly. There was also no way to charge the phone or electronic devise while in the flight.
The seats are old and very uncomfortable and it felt dirty. The crew where very unhelpful and unwilling. They ran out of vegetarian meals and just didn’t care about it. It was just an awful experience.
