My carry on luggage was taken from me and placed in the hold even though I booked my flight long before Ryanair changed their rules about charging for carry on luggage. The sticky tab that the member of staff placed on my back has left marks all over the handle."

We then had to paid €100 each to get on a flight to Manchester 2.5 hours later & then we had to take 2 trains from Manchester to Liverpool We missed our tour in Liverpool & had to pay £45 for it anyway."

Miinukset: "Our children were placed in separate seats from us and NO one would help to reseat us together. So frustrating. The attendants didn’t have proper change for customers. And Ryan air failed to tell us we would have to take our bags out and through stringent security during a layover in Manchester which took forever. Zero stars."

I checked a bag at the counter (not at the gate) and was surprised to learn that the fee was 40 Euros instead of the expected 25. We were marched outside to stand for 15 minutes before anyone was permitted to board."
Miinukset: "We bought our tickets online, and even had the Ryan Air mobile app, yet still SOL. When we arrive at departure airport no mobile bording pass option (for our tickets), no kiosk for printing. Ling line to pay 50 quid for tucket printing, lol."

Plussat: "The crew were quick and efficient"
Miinukset: "The flight was delayed and we had to stand outside on the tarmac in the freezing cold for about twenty minutes before we were allowed to board."
Miinukset: "The gate # was never posted on the flight boards so we had to run to the gate when we happened to hear the boarding announcement. We had to pay 60€ at the gate for an "oversized" carry-on, which was standard size on all other flights. Priority boarding was announced then all the gate crew left, leaving everyone else sitting there. The plane and flight were fine (if you ignore the sales pitches for perfume, raffle tickets, etc), but I could have done without the stress leading up to it."

Miinukset: "Being made to queue for almost an hour, with staff seeing and allowing people to push in front because they had a child (over 5y.o) with no regard for people who queued. Staff then came from the back to the front of the queue telling people they had to put their carry-on luggage in the hold. When questioned why, the response was "you either do it or we won't let you fly. You don't like it? What do you want? It's Ryanair, deal with it." Very disappointing, flown many times with Ryanair but never been treated like that. Also disgusted with the new policy of having to pay to sit next to your partner of the same booking. Disgusting."
Miinukset: "The whole checking in process was ridiculous!!! You can only check in on your phone otherwise everything is fee. There are no self check in computers. I'm flying international so don't always have wifi available. Charged to check in my luggage. Which is horrible. It's not even a flat fee for the luggage it's by waeight and I had to go back and forth to a different counter for weight, then to pay, then back to drop off the luggage. One person at the counter should be able to do that one transaction.. it's such a waste of time. I will never fly this airline again."

Miinukset: "The airline made us go to the gate where there was no seating, though they knew the flight was an hour late, so we stood for an hour, before being told we had to check carry on bags in the hold, carrying computers,valuables, batteries, and drinks in our hands (not possible). Card payment on board was disabled. Payment in the currency of the departing country was impossible."
Miinukset: "The representatives were not friendly and having to pay an additional large fee for normal size carry on luggage is ridiculous."

Flight was late for about an hour! 15-20min is fine but one hour plus sitting on a runway for a long time is unacceptable. Especially in my case as I had a connecting flight to Nis and two hours between them. With one hour delay it was really a challenge to catch another flight. £25 charge for a 15kg bag I too much. I'd be more encouraged and travel more often with the ckeck in bag if that would cost 15-20£ but I anymore at this price"
Miinukset: "Very convenient flight itinerary on these two flight segments. All airlines should provide at minimum a small bottle of water at no charge as travelers are not allowed to bring fluids through airport security"

Miinukset: "Due to a technical problem of the aircraft a site inspection was needed. - While waiting, the lead flight attendent, Anikó was chit-chatting in Hungarian with some passengers, sharing different information in an unacceptable, non-professional manner (how often and why Ryanair flights are delayed, how passengers act in such cases, she only had 2h sleep the previous night, etc). A disgrace both for the airline and her profession!"

Miinukset: "As a non-EU passport holder, Ryan Air didn't communicate when I would be receiving my boarding pass (answer: 3 days prior to flying). Also, I needed to print my boarding pass because of my non-EU status. I found all of this out last minute and it was a little stressful while I was abroad since printers weren't at my disposal. On the day of my flight, everything went smoothly until they made me check my bag at the gate before boarding because they claimed my bag was too big and wanted to save room for other carry-ons. It's not, I've complied with all the dimensions and weight policies. Additionally, I purchased priority boarding for the sole reason of securing a place for my carry-on. I found all of this out when I was on the tarmac. The staff wasn't nice about it and I was overall irritated by the lack of communication. While I was in flight, the staff kept trying to sell duty-free products such as perfumes, food and other goods. This would have been fine for a bit but they literally filled the airwaves during the 45 minute trip with product announcements and pricing on the intercom system and trolling the galley holding stuff up the air. It felt like I was at a hectic auction house. Really odd and annoying."

Miinukset: "Rowdy passengers were allowed to remain on the flight without being told by staff to quieten down. This was the most disappointing aspect of the flight."
Plussat: "got to Rome 5 hours late"
Miinukset: "This flight was about the 5th leg of our European trip. I attempted several times to complete the early check in on the website so that we would save the fee of checking in later at the airport but I was unable to. We left our hotel 4 hours prior to the flight departure because the metro ride was 1 hour to the Barcelona airport. Next, we waited in line at the airport and were then told to go wait in another line and pay 50 euros each for the airport check-in. Then, our flight was delayed so we got to spend a whole day of our vacation in the Barcelona airport! What a waste of valuable time for us. Next tour of Europe I will gladly spend up to $400 more for a reliable flight on a different airlines. Time is more valuable, especially vacation time!"
