Plussat: "The flight attendants were professional and polite, I requested low-fat meals and they were good, the entertainment was very good, the air temperature was comfortable, most flights I had were on time."
Miinukset: "The legroom was a problem. Seats are kind of narrow, and then, with the lack of legroom it’s somewhat challenging to shift your legs, especially when the seat in front of you goes back! I felt like the person was almost in my lap. My cup even got crunched. I think my biggest issue, though, lay in how I was treated after paying $127.00 to obtain a day pass for the lounge each way. For my inbound flight my purse was branded with an “economy” class luggage type tag, and I was made to feel as though I was trying to sneak in. I had to show my boarding pass a number of times to employees after asking for the location of the lounge in order to be directed there, and then my credentials were examined as though I was trying to get into Fort Knox. Upon arrival at the desk, I was somewhat tersely informed that I had 6 hours. I went out of my way a bit in order to fly Qatar, which is supposed to be so wonderful, and I was underwhelmed. I’ve had better experiences on Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines."

Miinukset: "When dropping my bag at check in counter, the employee at the counter asked, somewhat intrusively, what the extra fee I paid was for. When I told her it was for the Al Mourjan lounge in Doha, her facial response and attitude came across as judgemental, and was not appropriate"

Miinukset: "-my seat did not recline, which I understand that I was close to the emergency exit but the person in front of me could still put their seat back way farther than they should be able to and I was unable to do simple things like put my glass of water on my tray -I had a vegetarian meal which was literally just rice and ground up brown mush-I have no idea what that much was -I asked twice for new headphones because my was broken but they forgot -When the flight attendant was coming around with water and she looked me to see if I wanted any and I said yes, she just skipped over me. I didn't pay a few hundred dollars extra for this."

If the person in front of me reclined all the way, they crushed my knees and I'm only 5'7". - Seat cushions are thin and hard. - baggage check in took a very long time; about 45-60"

Miinukset: "Other passengers pushing, coughing & sneezing without proper sanitary measures; dirty toilets. This reflects on the education level of passengers, not the crew, but it still makes flying into Jeddah on packed flights particularly miserable."

Miinukset: "This is an isolated experience on Qatar but a couple of the crew members had poor attitudes. One flight attendant talked down to passengers during boarding and while serving. Another flight attendant acted as if if she was being inconvenienced when asked for water. The seat did not function properly. It would recline on its own which caused constant adjustment throughout the flight."

Miinukset: "The flight was delayed due to technical issues. The passenger was kept in the plane for 3 hours and no water supply was distributed to the passengers until the crew was approached. We were asked to change plane after 3 hours and we had to go through the transit scan once more with limited time to spare. Upon reaching the new gate, all passengers were tired from the waiting and rushing. Snack box was distributed but it wasn't sufficient for everyone. There are passengers who had to wait till food was served on board which is another 2hours later. In this changed aircraft, the annoucement system went haywire. We were waiting to depart the airport but it recited the crew is ready to decent. It went on a couple of times. The situation could have been handled in a much effective manner."

Miinukset: "while going to US from Mumbai -Wheelchair service at Istanbul was found unsatisfactory. The attendanct was unfriendly adamant and rude. overall the wheel chair persons were neglected by the airlines (even at Boston ) but the cabin crew took care of all wheel chair persons."

As per the rule Airlines has to pay for Visa. They never paid. Asked us to pay. Totally harassment. Never book Turkish Airlines in my remaining whole life. Also will this incident to all my friends after going back to USA. Very very bad experience. Sat down 24 hours at Airport without food and sleep. Mostly will file a case against Airlines."

Plussat: "same as my experience to Istabul, ths was a connecting flight, I saw their Ad in their inflight magazine, didn't know they were rated #1 6 years in a row. Was pleasantly surprised on how good they were. Comfortable seats, excellent on board service, food better than average, pleasant and professional staff. Try them, you won't be disappointed"

Miinukset: "On line check-in system does not remember frequent flier info. Passport check at gate was poorly managed. Everyone was in waiting area then told to get out and stand in line for passport check. It happened each time so this seems to be their normal process. On flight back they bused us to the airplane and waited for all three buses to arrive at the airplane before allowing anyone to board. Flight attendants helped with moving carry on bags in bins but with little consideration to the items. Completely unorganized boarding process to the point it is worth paying a little more to fly a different airline."

Plussat: "Flight itself was comfortable even though it was very full. Good, well maintained airplane. Great pillow and blanket. Somewhat hard seat. Love the newspapers they give us to read - what a selection."
Miinukset: "Istanbul airport really lacks seating for its passengers in the general areas. You need to sit in a restaurant to rest your feet as waits are quite long between flights. Another problem is the lack of internet for passengers without Turkish cell accounts. This should be corrected. Finally, lack of water fountains in the airport is also a problem."

Miinukset: "The ground personnel in Istanbul were rude and prevented us from boarding before the general boarding even through we were business class passengers. She made us wait till all economy passengers were boarded before permitting us to board the plane. When the business class passengers requested to know the reason she just said this the way she was going to do it. She yelled at the business class passengers for no valid reason. I have travelled business class and never been put to such humiliation!!"

Miinukset: "Choosing a vegetarian meal was not an option in the booking/checkin process. I have taken 8 Turkish Airlines flights and in only one of them apparently I was expected to have specified a vegetarian option. All other times a vegetarian and meat option was provided on board. So it was confusing. The crew still accommodated my choice and were able to get me a veg crew meal."

Miinukset: "the boarding crew failed to check passports initially, so was forced to make everyone at the gate get up and relocate to outside the gate, only to re-enter and get reseated. this was just poor planning."

Plussat: "I loved everything about this airline! First the fact, they used a B-777-300ER on this route, which is my most preferred aircraft! Next, they upgraded us to a class which is in between Economy and Business. But even otherwise, their economy is very good! Indian food was served which was very tasty and authentic! Inflight entertainment and beverages were also very good! Cabin crew was excellent! Could find NOTHING to complain, it is now my favorite airline!"

Plussat: "FROM THE TURKISH DELIGHTS to the amazing choice of food and drinks all the movies to watch flying with turkish airlines was amazing!!! considering the prices for the tickets beat every airline out there and it was like a week before departure!! incredible just incredible no complaints at all!!"

Miinukset: "This return flight was much better than the flight going to Amsterdam. I believe the biggest factor was the type of aircraft. The old 747 just didn't meet expectations. The newer 777 on the way back was much more comfortable, with better amenities."

Plussat: "Very pleased with KLM - efficiency all round and especially the baggage handling at Schipol swhere I had 20 minutes to transfer and my baggage came back with me to the UK which is no mean feat given the hustle and bustle of such a large airport"

Miinukset: "Having to change my seat to accommodate a rude belligerent passenger, who had taken my seat, refused to move until spoken to by steward. She then made my flight a nightmare, until I let her sit in my aisle seat. Even then she was not satisfied, she abused me the whole flight damaged the screen so I could not use it until the steward fixed it. Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

Miinukset: "Our total flight time was about 17 hours - MAD- AMS-LAX. My husband and I both have an internationally approved carry on luggages with us. When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

They gave us food vouchers 2 minutes before we finally boarded, so we couldn't use them. The food on the plane had spoiled so we were all starving on the flight, and we all missed our connections. Horrible experience and wouldn't fly with KLM again."

Plussat: "The staff at the front desk for the check-in were extremely helpful. I had a complicated issue with my luggage and they helped me to sort it out in the best possible way. Amazing service! Furthermore, the entertainment on board is great! Nice movies, nice food, friendly flight attendants, etc. They even offered me a second sandwich =)! I truly loved my experience with KLM."

Miinukset: "Amsterdam customs is the most disorganized I have ever seen. With the number of tourists entering the country you would think they would have done something about it. There were only 2 customs agents!! One for all passports and 1 for all passports. We were in the customs hall longer than we were in flight!"

Ground staff in Marseiile great but gate crew didn't control carry on baggage and many of us could not use overhead bins because of passengers who stowed more than one and often oversized suitcases above, so we and many others had to place carry on suitcases under seat. Attendant on plane totally unhelpful and could have rearranged a few bags to make room but preferred to stay in back of plane and talk. To be fair, rest of flight was pleasant although late due in part to boarding issues."

Miinukset: "Teenage crew, poor service (not even water brought on request, all "self service" at back of flight, and not being allowed a second drink with dinner), poor language skills (crew not very helpful when 2 hour delay meant I could miss connecting flight, suggesting I "walk fast")."

Miinukset: "It is very difficult to get around CDG airport with a disabled person. There is no shuttle. By the time we got to check in, we were ten minutes late. They would not check us in, and we paid over $700 to change tickets to the next flight. When I complained, I was told to stop being rude or I would get no ticket at all. My mother is 94 years old and we did the best we could given the circumstance."

Miinukset: "After running due to a 1 hr 10 min change over between flights boarding didn't prioritise anyone but I got on fine. Only to be told at the departure time that there was a problem with the baggage hold and we were delayed. In total 50 minutes late leaving. Breakfast a simple brioche with nothing to add to it."

Miinukset: "Plane left 45 minutes late. No reason given either when waiting or after late boarding. I didn't eat as I tried to sleep byt narrow seats meant being woken constantly by fidgety neighbour. Fortunately the plane made up most of the lost time and I got my next Air France flight. This one was 50 minutes late departing."

Miinukset: "My pregnant wife was downgraded from business to economy 20 minutes before departure because the airline made a mistake with the reservation for our puppy traveling in the cabin with us. If this were not enough, the airline also lost one of our bags so this week we have to file for compensation for both begin downgraded and for the contents of our 30 kilo bag which never made it to Ho Chi Minh. Air France was a complete and total disaster and I would strongly recommend all friends and colleagues to find alternative airlines for travel"

Miinukset: "The boarding process was horrible and it involved climbing down steep stairs from the air tunnel to the tarmac to board a bus that took us to a far distance where the plane was parked. Had to new walk in the sweltering heat to the plane can climb up steep stairs in the heat! We were now kept in the plane for another hour with no aircondotion. It was boiling hot in there. We had to use the safety manuals to fan ourselves. We eventually left late and got to Lagos one and half hours we were meant to get there. Lastly not all the luggage arrived. Two days into my arrival and I am yet to get all my luggage. It was truly a horrible experience which was echoed by fellow passengers."

Miinukset: "Crew not only lacked sensibility to understand the purpose of an emotional support dog but kept harassing me about the dog being tied to my seat. At some point a flight attendant even tried to touch my dog, invading my personal space. When the dog rightfully acted defensive trying to protect me, the crew member started threatening me that he would have the dog sent to cargo, the last thing a person with an emotional support pet wants to hear. Extreme lack of professionalism."

Plussat: "Fine for a 45-50 minute regional flight."

Plussat: "In cabin crew was attentive and friendly. Food was good and came at good times. Middle bathroom on Airbus 380 was big and comfy."
Miinukset: "Boarding was not too well organized and I followed Security's direction who put me in wrong line and I wasn't able to board with my priority group. Sitting in exit row with no floor storage so this delay made it hard to find overhead storage above my seat. (Grrrr) Entertainment system didn't work which made the flight feel LOOONG. (They offered an in-flight credit, but I'd paid for premium exit row seat and had to choose between moving to working system in crowded middle seat or keep premium, exit seat. I decided to have them move me to a seat with a working entertainment system, which were available and they'd offered, but never happened.) When I got home, I discovered the gift I purchased with in-flight credit and my own money wasn't the one I'd requested from Duty Free catalog so now I have to figure out how to solve this problem. (COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT.) Premium exit row seat was narrow, due to in-seat tray table & entertainment system, but seatbelt mounts and thinly padded seat made it even more uncomfortable on a long flight."

Plussat: "Staff pleasant and courteous fine meal and beverages! Arrived ahead of schedule in Bucharest!! Overall a very pleasant experience!"

Miinukset: "The company simply lets passengers board a fulled booked flight with far too much luggage. Result, take off 20 minutes late because there was not enough room for luggage in the overhead compartments. I was flying with just a small backpack that went under the seat"

But when we tried to sleep, our fellow passengers came and stood at our feet and talked so loudly that we could not possibly sleep. They stayed there for more than an hour. Would have loved for the staff to maybe ask them to tone it down, if not move."

Plussat: "Crew members were nice and polite."
Miinukset: "The plane was so old, it's like they bought it at a junk yard. The seats were falling apart and were very uncomfortable. Entertainment system is the same age as a VCR. Food was so bad I actually threw up (first time for me ever; I can eat pretty much anything and no problems). Given other compatibility priced options, I won't fly AirFrance again."

Plussat: "Comfortable, crew were fabulous. Food was fine. Champagne and they filled my water bottle happily!"

Miinukset: "The "Czech Airlines" flight I purchased was actually an Air France flight number. When I arrived later than planned but still within good time, which was my fault, I reported to the Czech Airlines check-in (D2). This is very, very far from the Air France check-in (A2). No person and no sign was at Czech Airlines gate saying to go to Air France instead. By the time I determined what to do by talking ro the airport information booth and I walked to Air France instead of Czech Airlines (at CDG airport this is 5 minutes walking very fast speed on conveyor belts.. perhaps more than half a kilometer), I was past the boarding time limit, but the flight had not yet left. Then I could not print the boaring pass because of the time. When I asked an Air France employee for help, he simply said "you cannot board" and stood there smugly. He must feel great being a 25 year old who can turn people away from international flights at his own discretion to completely ruin their day especially when the plane is still on the ground. I have not even explained yet about the similarly awful experience I had when I booked the next flight (Czech Airlines at 09:45) for a much higher price (118 euro) and was not told that this Czech Airlines flight is "really" a Czech Airline flight. After paying much more to a Czech Airline person, nobody informed me to stay at the Czech Airlines area (2D) so I naturally went back to Air France since I had already had so much trouble. When I arrived there, of course, they tell me to go back to Czech Airlines and now I was again late. Thank God that I was able to confront a random trolley man who Kew where the Czech Airlines people were and try tried very hard to get me to the plane even though the boarding time was over. All in all, this was the worst travel experience of my life. I have now wasted 40 more minutes of my approximately 2.5 days in Prague to tell you this. I hope you consider it."

When I received the suitcase, over $1000 in equipment was stolen , suitcase was all scrambled...I WAS ROBBED ! ...then on the return flight to HOUSTON, they lost my suitcase again ! W.T.F ? ! No one has called me to apologize for anything ! I expect to be reimbursed for my loses, or I will sue the airline."

Miinukset: "My husband & I were seated toward the back on the side. Our seats had several inches less leg room than the ones surrounding us (not sure why). This information was not made available when we booked our flight. My husband is 6'2" and his legs legitimately could not fit into his seat. He had to sit the entire flight with one leg in the aisle and the other tucked under the seat in front of me. It was only made worse when the kid in front of him fully reclined his seat. We would have chosen to not sit together rather than endure that had we been given the option. Also, the menu they distributed said they serve ice cream but we asked and then didn't have any. Don't get my hopes up!"

Miinukset: "Flight was at 10:30pm. Waited at the gate from 9:00-10:40 with no news. Nobody knew what was going on or what we were waiting for. Finally at 10:40 they announced that the flight would be delayed, even though we had figured it out by then. At 11 the flight crew showed up. We finally boarded at 11:30 and we arrived an hour late to our destination. They offered drinks to the 2 people flying "business class" (they were just sitting in the front but amongst the economy class seats) at the very beginning, but then waited to serve everyone else, but as it was late, most people were already sleeping. We arrived an hour late."

Plussat: "All BA staff were professional, pleasant and helpful. My seat had more leg room than I was expecting (after a flight Seattle to Heathrow where my knees were jammed against the seat ahead of me."
Miinukset: "I was frustrated that I had to pay for either a cup of coffee or water. Since all healthcare providers recommend that one must drink water on a flight to stay hydrated and healthy, a complimentary bottle of water would have supported healthy travel. Due to a short layover in Heathrow, I had no time to fill my own water bottle."

Plussat: "The crew, all the way around were very attentive & courteous, food was great!"

Miinukset: "We were involuntarily downgraded from Business to economy for our 9 hour flight from London to Mumbai. Outside our party of 3 there was also another party of 3 in the same boat as us. It seems like British Airways is too aggressive with overbooking the higher end sections of the flight, which seem much less likely to have people 'no-show' (either because it's for work or because they've spent so much for the tickets)."

Miinukset: "My wife didn't able to travel. She is on h4 visa and when we tried to checkin at airport staff said she can't travel because she doesn't have valod visa in her passport for us. I tried to explain to staff that her h4 visa is her us visa but didn't accept. I have no problem with uk policy but atleast britiah airways should let is know when we booked ticket that you need visa on your passport. I will never ever travel through british airways."

Plussat: "Not much - the entertainment choices were good and the flight was safe and smooth. Plus my bag turned up from Helsinki, Heathrow, Singapore, sydney"
Miinukset: "The biz class seats on BA are just horrible. The biz class service - BA aren’t even trying to match other airlines. A stingy snenities kit and a blanket doesn’t come close to qantas or emerites. The food is an embarrassment - microwave dinners over heated is a a generous description. Crew do as little as possible (they don’t want to be they’ve either)"

Miinukset: "The woman who worked the British Airways desk in Helsinki and checked our bags is not suited for a customer service position. The screens on the British Airways long haul planes are tiny and difficult to operate. A 2,5 h flight where you can't even get water complimentary is appalling. Honestly all of your competitors offer a snack and beverages complimentary even if the flight is only 45 min. The boarding for London to Dallas flight was very confusing and could have been made easier with grouping the boarding instead of tons of people piling up to rush in at once."

Plussat: "It is great that they give every person a blanket and pillow on boarding. Flight was nice and dark. The flanges that pull down on either side of the headrest to lean your head into are genius."
Miinukset: "Flight was late and announcements were not understandable over the PA. While I understand that seats are made for the "average passenger" and at 5'2" I am on the very low end of that, seat was very uncomfortable with a metal bar higher than the seat cushion poking forward where the cushion met the seatback. The temperature was extremely variable and when my seat mates who did not speak English very well tried to flag a flight attendant down to get an extra blanket, the flight attendants actively ignored them, so I hit my assistance button and my light went on, then after some time it went off again without our being helped so I hit it again about 10 minutes later and my light went on again but was again ignored. Then the attendants started selling things from the flight magazine and looked the other way as they went by my hopeful beacon. When they finally did get to me, I got a curt "I'll see if there is anything I can do" and she went off, returning 5 minutes later with one blanket when there were two people. Later on I saw her give blankets to others, and I found that strange."

I had to spend over 12 hours in London .. Which was very uncomfortable and tiring for me considering my poor health, the previous 8 HR flight from Boston-London and the upcoming 9 hour london-Mumbai."

Plussat: "Orly and Heathrow are efficient despite the heavy volume. The entire crew was welcoming and professional. Excellent value. The metro and tram to Orly sound logistically."

Miinukset: "The stewardess told me for the last meal, that they ran out the no. Vegetarian meal so I must choose the veg one. Later he said he gave me the preference for the earlier meal so this one shouldn't be a problem if I didn't get what I asked for. Totally blew my mind. The audacity with which he gave me his explanation was extraordinary. Sorry British airways, don't need that attitude. Wrote to them about this, haven't yet replied back. The flight was pretty old by itself. Not like the ones that go from London to United States. The Seats were smaller and had a very uneasy contour, the entire plane just looked a little banged up. The crew always seemed in a rush, to busy to even hear or look around."

Miinukset: "Taking out the middle seat in economy by sticking a tray in it and calling it business class is BS. Who does BA think they are kidding? cr*p class with cr*p service is what it is."

Miinukset: "The flight was being run by Iberia, not British Airways. Iberia has a policy which did not allow me to check in without proof of a return flight. Unfortunately, my travel partner had booked the return flight and did not share the details with me. I was not able to reach my travel partner and, as such, was forced to buy a new ~$2,300 return ticket on the spot in order to provide the necessary proof. This was an extreme inconvenience, as I nearly missed my flight. If Iberia or British Airways made its travelers aware of this policy in advance of their check in. I have no intention of flying Iberia ever again."

Plussat: "Pleasant trip and food was good- fact you even served food was a pleasant surprise"

Plussat: "I will only fly British Airways to UK and to other international destinations that they fly to."

Miinukset: "Due to delays because of maintenance issues, I had to wait at LHR for 9 hours! I was given 2 meal vouchers which I could not use because I have dietary restrictions and the airport had no place for me to get food. I was not expecting such a long delay and hence did not have a change of clothes/jacket or anything. The airport was ridiculously cold and I had to spend 13 pounds out of my own pocket in order to buy a cheap blanket to keep me slightly warm at the airport. The customer service refused to even allow me to use the lounge for a little while to get some shut eye or freshen up. When it was finally time to board, at the last minute, the crew announced that they were having maintenance issues AGAIN and we were delayed by 1.5 hours more. CRAZY! Lastly, when i reached Mumbai and opened my bag, my iPhone which was stowed away in my checked in luggage had disappeared. Very very disappointed by the service and lack of customer care."

Plussat: "BA is the most reassuring airline service in the world. very predictable, punctual, comfortable seats and polite service. very rarely do things go wrong."
