Miinukset: "At check-in I asked to be upgraded to the Premium Cabin and was told I could do so by paying the upgrade fee, then I was told that there were no more premium seats available on the flight. I wasn’t even offered to pay to select a different seat and I had arrived 4 hours prior to take off."

We still could have made the Norwegian flight if they had allowed us to ticket the segment from Newark to Barcelona in Denver. We tried, knowing the connection was going to be tight, to no avail."

Plussat: "For a 9.5 hr flight, you didn’t get meals and there wasn’t TVs to entertain yourself. When you asked the flight attendants for help, it was like you were bothering or inconveniencing them. It was a terrible experience for any kind of flight."

Miinukset: "The plane seemed like it was built in 1990. My wife's TV screen was black and white & we only had two working channels. There was no where to charge electriconics (which was unfortunate for a 9hr flight), and we waited on the tarmac in Newark from 9:10-10:40 because there "was no parking" for our plane. Lastly, (probably more Newark's fault) we waited another hour and ten minutes for our luggage at claim."

Miinukset: "Customer service...... no clear policy for reservation change . to return one day earlier than originally booked I spent hours to get somebody on the phone and when i got a philippino he put me on hold for the longest time (probably working on a rice field!!) and than told me to buy a new one way ticket. If it is a non changeable tkt......SPELL IT OUT TREMENDOUS PROBLEMS PASSING IMMIGRATION IN EWR. 2 1/2 HOURS IN SEVERAL CONSECUTIVE LINES !!!!!!"
Plussat: "Friendly crew, good movie options. Good wine available (for $10). Base price very fair."
Miinukset: "Seat was way too cramped for a 10 hour flight (I'm average 5'11"). Hot snack offerings disappointing and expensive. 5+ hour delay, after poorly organized boarding. I would fly with Norwegian again but only in premium seats."
Plussat: "Check in was prompt, and easy. Boarding was quick and on time. Staff was pleasant. I don't know why they get bad reviews, their guidelines are easy to follow, and I've been lucky enough to have no problems with them yet."

Miinukset: "Lost a day of vacation due to never ending delays. The reason for first 4 hour delay was a lie that the weather in Los Angeles was terrible which I cross checked and found a 40% chance of showers and no weather warnings. This continued on and on. We ended up being 8 hours late in the end."
Plussat: "The plane seemed really nice (Dreamliner). Despite being tall, it seemed like I had a bit more leg room than in other economy class seats."
Miinukset: "I was in one of the boarding groups that got to enter the plane last. While I don't mind that, since the last group since in front of the plane, people who sit in the back sometimes put their carry on luggage close to the front of the plane so that they can get it on the walk back down the aisle rather than fussing with it when everyone is standing up. I wish there was more emphasis on making people put their carry ons above their own seats."
Miinukset: "They forced me to check my bag leaving JFK. Charged me $250 to check it and then proceeded to lose my bag. They have since refused to refund my money. Don't ever fly this airline"
Miinukset: "I missed my flight waiting at the wrong gate( there was another flight to Stockholm, my connecting city, being conducted by another airline) I did not notice until it was too late. The airline neglected to offload my checked luggage, refused to do accommodate me with a change fee and now has lost my bag and has no idea where it is."
Plussat: "The new plane was amazing and I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity. The experience was streamlined and the technology state-of-the-art, accessible, and extremely useful. The impressive crew looked flawless and performed their duties very well. It was all quite a spectacle!"
Miinukset: "It is always really nice to get free coffee as a passenger. Traveling is exhausting and I would have been so appreciative of free coffee on the flight, and felt even more comforted and likely to fly Norwegian in the future."
Plussat: "The crew was nice and good movies to watch on the flight,"
Miinukset: "Flight was late upon arrival, then they boarded the plane and we where stuck on the tramac for almost 3hrs with no a/c. Then the plane was un-boarded due to technical difficulty. We where told to wonder the airport till further notice. But there was no notice, I had to look online to see that the flight had then been cancelled after a 5hr delay. The 5hr delay then turned into being stuck in Bangkok for the night to catch the next flight out at 1am. they fixed the plane. But then while on the plane it was time for food service, except the flight attendant skipped me and my passenger and we where told we didn't order food so there was none for us, when on a 11hr flight do you have to pre book food? When I booked my ticket online I was never given an option to "book food" not to mention she didn't even want to give us juice or a drink, she went straight by us. Was not happy. It was honestly a terrible experience flying Norwegian Air."
Plussat: "The had a good selection of movies and the seats were very comfortable."
Miinukset: "During the flight the aircraft was really cold."
Plussat: "Low price, new smart aircraft, comfortable journey in Premium, excellent service from the crew."
Miinukset: "In-flight entertainment very limited. Not many movies, strange tv program content, no music at all. The flight was late leaving Oakland and the pilot didn't make up any time, so I nearly missed my connection in Stockholm. Aalanda airport was part of that problem as transfer security had a single line with one really slow person manning it! That all added up to a long line of very anxious travelers!"
Plussat: "Just the price, but I ended paying more for my trip that bif I would have selected another airline with "true" business class."
Miinukset: "This is in relation to my original travel date which was a day earlier before the flight I bought through Kayak... Due to cutoms delays entering London from Madrid, I arrived at the ticket station for Norwegian 50 minutes before departure, for thw agent to tell me that it was too late to check-in and that I was to for fit my business class tkt (no credit, no reimbursement) and that I need to buy a new tkt (for next day, they only have one flight to Kax) . I know I could have made it to the plane if I was allowed to check in. There are other major negative things about Norwegian Air. This was tje first and LAST time I will fly Norwegian. I don't recommend anyone to flight this airline unless you like pain and suffering."

Plussat: "No extras but I am fine with that because the flight was so cheap! The plane was really comfortable."
Miinukset: "In spite of request for Vegetarian food, there was no food available. While checking in, I did ask the officer about the food & was told YES. The same issue occurred on Return. I request for some refund a's a Compensation & it should be Debited to the contractor for food as a Penalty."
Plussat: "The plane was new and had could technology. The lighting, windows, touch screens and bathrooms were all in good condition."
Miinukset: "The flight took a long time to load. I could not check in online or pick my seats. We checked a stroller when boarding, and when we got off we were told we could not get it until we went through customs. Customs at LAX takes an hour to get through, which left us with a baby and all of our carry-on luggage to transport for an hour. We traveled through many airports on this trip, but never had our stroller not available at the gate."
Plussat: "B787 is a great aircraft. It's true the pressurization and the lighting reduce fatigue.Great crew!"
Miinukset: "Seats do not recline enough."
Plussat: "The engine purred like a kitten. Seats, free videos, easy access to order drinks & food w tap of your finger. Friendly, courteous greets you w a warm smile. Spacious airplane."
Miinukset: "Norwegian airlines needs to tell their customers that their luggage was left behind in Stockholm. We are exhausted from the long travels & are even more pissed off when multiple customers kept waiting for their luggage. I felt even more horrible to the family that was taking a cruise the next day. Can you believe Norwegian airlines are closed on Sunday. Couldn't talk to customer service until Monday when they opened. Bad customer satisfaction;("
Miinukset: "This is the worst airline you would ever travel. I dont even know how they still in busines, well i do know and is because all the fees they charge.. i picked this airline because i though i was getting a good price to barcelona and end up paying almos double.. firts the service at the check in was terrible had incompetent people working and not willing to provide customer service.. they made me paid one checking in back in a such of long flight from new york to barcelona.. only allowing people to have a carry on.. which a lot airline do that, but not to euro cuz the amount of hr. Second they only allow 20kg per bag and not willing to combine the kg between carry on and checking.. and the answer for the manager "go to hudson news and buy a new bag and pay for it or you can just travel" then i found out that they dont bring no even water.. just imagine to be on airplane for 8 hr without even drinking water because they want you to pay for everything.. i would surprise me for them to ask me for money to use the bathroom. We all know what airlines bring for food and i dont think it was worth to pay $50 dollar for that food.. i have travel to barcelona and all euro plenty time and use tap portugal, kml, delta, airfrance, and so far this is the worst airline you will ever pick.. third seats are very unconfortible and have not enough space for such a long trip. Every time you call customer service to even ask a question they are they dont care.. i would love my money back.. i usually dont write review about thing but i said to myself i have to let people know so they aware of what they will be getting into.. so litteraly i end up paying 600 plus everything else i use on this airline.. what this people do is an abuse.. i asked for water and theh told my ticket didnt include water and i had to pay for it.. no even a glass.. i would understand if it was a short flight for few hrs.. but imagine 8 hr when at the airport dont allow you to bring any liquid.."
Plussat: "They had new movies (I watched La La Land a few others). Their entertainment options are good and the in-cabin electronics work well enough."
Miinukset: "We have taken 6 trans-atlantic flights with Norwegian, and *all* of them have been delayed by multiple hours. They clearly do not have the operational capabilities to run these long-haul flights. Our most recent flight, for which I am writing this review, was delayed by 5 hours, and on top of that, we had to wait to de-plane for 40 minutes since the small destination airport (OAK) could not handle our arrival simultaneously to another Norwegian flight; they coincided because of our astounding delay. There was no legitimate reason for the 4h45min departure delay--no mechanical issues, no weather problems, no airport issues; it was purely Norwegian failing to have their staff available, or them waiting for other delayed flights to arrive to allow those passengers to transfer. We heard absolutely zero explanation except from the pilot who said was due to Norwegian's "own operating issues". There was no staff at the boarding desk, and after the 5 hour delay, some non-Norwegian-affiliated airport employee just said "ok everyone board", because clearly they needed the gate and the Norwegian staff was dragging their feet. I have never seen anything like it: a whole crowd of disgruntled people heading to the podium with no organization. Fortunately, we were flying from Stockholm and the Swedes were all very reserved about the horrible service. In the cabin, it is no-frills as you would expect, but I continue to be disappointed by a lack of water! I can afford to order bottled water from the snack bar, and we did that, but really water should be delivered to all passengers spending 11 hours on an aircraft. The pre-ordered food was pretty bad and definitely not worth the money that they charge for it. If you compare this to a "real" airline's trans-atlantic flights, there is no comparison: Norwegian's cabin crew is a bunch of amateurs from third world countries; a major airline like Lufthansa actually cares about passenger comfort and makes 2-3 times as many rounds through the cabin to deliver things like water, food, wine, hot towels, etc. I think this will be our sixth and final Norwegian trans-atlantic flight. Within Europe, we have had much better experiences with Norwegian."
Plussat: "We boarded and then sat due to computer issues for am hpur and a half. I was okay with this as safety is obviously what we all put first. Upon landing at JFK we then sat on the tarmac for 3 hours... 3 hours! JFK should be ashamed."
Plussat: "Nice plane"
Miinukset: "If we wanted water we had to pay for it. That was a first for me."
Plussat: "The plane is in great condition. Simple and gets you from point A to point B."
Miinukset: "Honestly I cannot think of anything I didn't like. I do think that food options pre flight should be better communicated. I had booked my food earlier but it seemed few of the other passengers had or knew they had to pre book food or order inflght."
Plussat: "USB connector, entertainment and excellent service"
Plussat: "Plane was state of the art. I particularly liked the capacity to 'dim' the light that came through the window as opposed to going from one shade to the other. The seats were certainly comfortable. The staff looked sharp & they were friendly & diligent. Entertainment offering was filled with a variety of films & shows. I was also pleased with the fact that there weren't any delays. Restrooms were equipped & clean."
Miinukset: "I was bummed to stumble upon the announcement that Norwegian decided not to renew their service with the SJU airport. IT opened a cultural exchange that would be great to continue."
