Miinukset: "Priority boarding was messed-up - no queue discipline was even attempted by the gate staff. The business class seats were uncomfortable and not comfortable to sleep in. The footrest was not long enough and the feet were dangling in the air. The blanket and bedding was provided almost 3 hours after take-off Worst of all was baggage handling. Our luggage was severely damaged. The handle to the suitcases was torn off. In addition the bags and the contents were wet when we received them in Boston. IT had been raining in Istanbul and it seems the bags were left out in the open. I've been trying to get Turkish to repair the torn-off handles but I'm constantly hitting a wall. I have filed a claim but the support staff sends extremely brief denials with no explanation."

Plussat: "I traveled solo with 2 toddlers. It was obviously not the best flight I’ve had but the staff was super helpful. The flight attendant got me the changing table ready every time I had to change my daughter. And always they helped me to stay with one of my kids when I had to take the other one to the bathroom. They were really kind and offered many kids related stuff (headphones, baby care kit, kids travel kit, etc.) Plus the food was amazing as always in Turkish Airlines."

Miinukset: "This’s the worse airlines that I ever use in my life, in my way back to Boston I get to the airport 2 and half hours before my flight, it was so crowded outside the door, so I didn’t get to check in till like an hour and 10 minutes, Guess what! They didn’t let me in because they close the gate they said?? They have me payed for another thicket to I take the next flight They are so weird, even when you called the customers service they will do nothing for you, like they don’t live in our planet!! Trust me stay away from this turkish airlines"

My grandmother needed a wheel chair and the lady who took her did not allow any of us to stay with her , mind you my grandmother can't speak English. The lady also told us that she didn't need the passport or her boarding pass ??? Because of that my grandmother almost got lost , we had to wait for her for an eternity. She got very scared and very upset for what you guys did . She is an old lady and it was one of her worst experiences of her life"

Miinukset: "I was told in Vienna that I would be allowed to carry my Kindle onto my flight from Istanbul to the USA. I was not able to and had to wait in a very long line both in Istanbul and in the US. I understand the change in regulations, but it is important that all employees of Turkish airlines are aware of the change. We also waited one hour on the runway in Istanbul. Additionally, there was a small section of the plane which received food roughly an hour later than the rest of the plane. I was on this section, and was uncomfortably hungry by the time I received food."

The crew was friendly, the service good, the food very good and the entertainment excellent. All my flights left on time and arrive on time or earlier. The airplane, an Airbus 300, was new and comfortable."
Miinukset: "The boarding process at Istanbul was a bit chaotic but the flight left on time. I guess the airport personnel knew what they were doing. Istanbul airport is big and modern. There a lot of nice shops, including Duty Free. One annoying thing was the large number of airport employees using these motorized transports, I.e. wheelchairs, bipeds, tricycles, etc, going at high speed. If you don't get out of their way they will run you over!"

Miinukset: "Having been impressed on recent overseas flight using Turkish Airlines, I thought the standards they had previously practiced would have been implemented. Unfortunately, there were several customer service disappointments, from forgetting to include dessert with my and my daughter's meals to being made to wait nearly an hour for the interactive screen to be reset. And not a sincere apology or effort to resolve the problem."

Enter to find the changing table Dirty diapers and wipes for tiny asses Moan, itch, pick, cry, kick, kick, scream Mommy Mommy Mommy Mommy Mommy Decadent. Familial entitlement on a budget. Sit down to stares. Without doing anything So begins the ogling Not for beauty or glasses But because of his right to look in any direction he pleases. The drink cart comes by Soft drinks only Stuttered English behind Only a sweet belch of coca cola Released, bubbling an unfettered expression shared across all languages. (but do they share my disgust?) Oh to fly, to find a cab to drive in the big city."

Plussat: "The entertainment choices were quite good. Flights arrived more or less on time."
Miinukset: "Our departure flight (BOS-IST) was changed 6 weeks after our booking, so our 2.5-hour layover became 10 hours. This happened before in my past experience with Turkish Airlines. There were many babies and small kids, so the noise level was high. Not ideal if you want to get some sleep on the flight."

Miinukset: "Not every one can follow the speed of the way you announce things, remember your flight take people from different continents in the world Also not having some where to sit while waiting for the information of which gate to go it is very challenging. The AC was almost killing the older people not me but the older lady sat next to me complained all the time but it didn't work. I know it is the challenge difficult to solve however you can give them some advise. Find a private space to talk with sick people because some people might not be comfortable to talk in front of every one."

It’s like ANA run by native New Yorkers - newish planes, really good food (including chefs running around in white uniforms with the tall hats!), solid in-flight entertainment, and no nickel-and-diming on drinks, but the staff can be cold. I would definitely fly again, especially if the alternatives are United or American."
Miinukset: "Turkish Airlines' hub airport, Ataturk International in Istanbul, is a chaotic, surly mess. Part of this relates to the fact that it is simply too small for the volume of traffic it handles, but I also believe airport management deserves some blame. Problems include: * Most arriving Turkish Airlines flights empty out on the tarmac, and then you are bussed to the terminal, adding at least 20 minutes to the process. Some departing flights to North America also require bussing from a distant gate. * Rescreening is inconsistent - once it was some guy standing by a door giving a cursory glance to passports of transfer passengers. Another time, hundreds of people going through a full laptops-out-of-bags-take-off-your-belts xray procedure. * Signage is terrible. Arrows pointing where to go are insufficient (such as exiting the international terminal from the transfer area) and most gates do not automatically show the next flight scheduled to depart. * Gates are shown on the main displays only 2 hours in advance max, and even then seem to change — I saw several people miss their flights for this reason. * Not enough toilets in the terminal and lounges. * Airport staff and concessions workers are surly. I would like to stress that Turkish Airlines (the dominant carrier at Ataturk) is actually pretty good when it comes to the flights themselves. But the airport experience really brings down the brand, in my opinion. My advice to those who have a long layover: Spend $25-$40 dollars to hang out in one of the paid lounges, which have more space, free food, Wi-Fi, etc. You need an oasis in a place like Ataturk."

Miinukset: "The entertainment system was very old, the picture was not clear at all, grainy and colours were washes out. The touch screen barely reacted, but at least there was a large variety of travel shows to watch, and at least one movie I did watch."

Miinukset: "I was flying from CDG to LGD and my bag was lost, yet the baggage claim system showed it arrived...... Thankful I packed some essentials in my carry on. The bigger issue will be dealing with my medical insurance company to get medications replaced that were in the checked bag."

Plussat: "I am always impressed by the Delta staff. Top notch."
Miinukset: "The entertainment screens have an (older) head phone jack that many people do not have. The headphones available for purchase by the airline are of very poor quality. I also am surprised that airlines (not just Delta) continue to provide such low quality food options on flights. I think consumers would pay more for better options."

Plussat: "Even though we were in the very back row, we did not experience a foul smell from the restrooms. This was a very nice relief. It is bad enough that the seats don't recline and there is no window in the very back row but prior experience with the added nausea of foul restroom order has been a serious insult to injury. In this case there was really minimal odor. Also since we are traveling as a family we are very happy that we were seated together. We have experienced the past that sometimes our seats will be fragmented and that creates major challenges when you are traveling with young children. However on this particular flight the ride was rough during both takeoff and landing, a lot of side to side shimmy. Also the cabin pressure varied quite a bit during landing causing all the kids to complain about some discomfort in their ears."

Plussat: "Pilot got us back safe through some bad turbulence, the flight was shaky from start to finish. They gave extra snacks, were attentive to any needs. Would definitely trust Delta pilots again. Also with this being a connecting flight, it was nice that the group of five I was in was given an entire row to ourselves."

Plussat: "Flew delta a few days ago and this wasn't an issue but you've gotta do better on the wifi and tv front. Part of my decision to fly delta is entertainment."

Miinukset: "Flight departure was delayed almost 30 minutes for "baggage," but Delta still managed to leave many passengers' luggage in Amsterdam. Desk agent guaranteed baggage delivery within 24 hours. 4 days and 3 airports later, my bag reached my hotel. Fly Air France instead. The food is better and they won't lose your luggage."

Miinukset: "Family of 6 with 3 minors. Could not sit any of us together."

Miinukset: "After a grueling 14 hour flight back to the states from Asia, got notification that my Delta flight was further delayed an additional 3.5 hrs from the layover of 2hrs, so I was at the airport for a good part of the day and did not get home till midnight. Altogether 24+ hrs of no real sleep. To add insult to injury, a Delta representative called and apologized, offering a $100 voucher or gift certificate. Raised expectation that they might actually do the right thing. I then received a Delta email that says "Your day just got better", except there was nothing but ads and enter to bid for things. Overall bad experience when I really needed them to get me home on time."

Plussat: "Comfortable flight to Amsterdam for vacation in UK. More meals than expected. Also wasn't expecting some of the comforts offered to "regular" class seats like eye masks, ear plugs, pillows and blankets. It was an overnight flight, so maybe that should have been expected, but I don't think we had those 4 years ago when traveling overseas."

The people in front of us could recline their seats fully, giving us no room whatsoever to move. We had no room to even rest our heads on the table or cross our legs. It was very uncomfortable. Had I known the seating was so uncomfortable, I would not have flown this airline. These were not the seats we selected earlier, so we were taken by surprise at being given such terrible seats and offered no options. I will not fly this airline again."

Miinukset: "too many flights landed at KEF at one time. the iceland customs could not handle all the flights at one time. it seems like the idea/plan to make iceland a primary stopover location was done without determining how many flights could descend on the terminal at one time. i was in a line that was almost all the way down the terminal. we truly were processed quickly - but it gave many around us a lot of stress over thinking they would miss their connecting flights. since i had done this before and the exact same thing happened (too many to process in too short a period of time) i reassured the people around us that icelandair holds the connecting flights until all people were processed. it gives a bad look to iceland and icelandair and i am sure could be remedied by changing some arrival/departure times. again, the idea of having iceland be a primary stopover to put them 'on the map' and glean the revenue from the potential travel is excellent, great marketing strategy - but is iceland air shooting them in the foot if they have implemented this plan without the infrastructure - please pass along to iceland- a country i really loved when i visited before this marketing plan!"

During the time that my mother requested a drink on the plane, the flight attendants walk right past her and did not even initially acknowledge her presence. I found that to be very rude and unprofessional. I was also very disappointed to find that we were not given food on the five hour flight. That was very inconvenient and I have never experienced that on any other airline in my 22 years of life. It is safe to say that I will NEVER be flying with Iceland air again."

I have received 4 emails which all said my flight had a 3 hour delay but did not notify me it will be on time until 20 minutes before departure from Barcelona. Of course, I Went to the information desk to see if they can still board me on the flight but they said no although it still didn't leave. They charged me 115 Euros a ticket but ONLY accepted cash. I was not flying alone and it didn't carry hundreds of euros with me. I had to wait hours just for the exchange to open. The crew at the information thought this was hilarious by the way, particularly the supervisor who had an extremely cheap red hair dye who refused to give me her name then put a scarf over her name tag to hide it. After I thanked the man who was helping me, she naturally yelled from across the information desk "HE SHOULDNT DO THIS!!!!" ... I said thank you? NEVER FLY THIS AIRLINES! I hope they get their act together before this airlines goes out of business!"

Miinukset: "They lied to us that the connection flight from Barcelona to Tel Aviv was canceled and therefore we must stay at Granada. They also said they could not fly us to Barcelona because all the hotels there were full occupancy (sounds absurd). Only after we insisted on flying to Barcelona we discovered that the flight to Tel Aviv took place as usual. To this day, I do not know why an airline needs to lie in such an ugly way. Note that this was not a misunderstanding or language difficulties. The English of the airline team and mine is excellent. This behavior is dismissive, irresponsible, and embarrassing"

Plussat: "The fly was delayed 45min. The spaces between seats are to small I ask for a soft bread sandwich and the staff tell me is assigned for another customer and i need to choose another one Overall was ok"

Miinukset: "Apparently Vueling, Iberia's cheap cousin, saves a middle seat in row 1 and charges more. A lot more! I was pressured in Helsinki into letting Swissair, the contracted boarding agent it seems, fill that seat, 1/2 of which is what you get for paying 'business' in a plane that has all economy seating. There was no logic or ability to board before economy and indeed my boarding pass stated economy. The woman that was added to the oversold seat got intoxicated and was half in my seat. I will never fly this again and it's not worth the stress to fight for some refund but I was taken advantage of with charging me a 300+ euro seat for this joke of a flight in a "better" level of service."

Miinukset: "We had to pay extra to check-In our luggage only for Vueling airlines to lose my friends luggage. They did not even make us feel like they would do everything possible to find it and it ruined the rest of our trip. My friend ended having to buy everything from underwear to shoes to clothes. Not only did it take time and energy to find clothes for her but it was very costly. I've flown MANY airlines and have never had deal with lost luggage so I was expecting more from the airline to do everything possible to located it or compensate us for their mistake, especially when we had to pay an additional $50 USD to check-in our luggage (that ultimately ended up lost). I would not recommend this airline."

Miinukset: "The issues started when I tried to do my on-line check-in 24 hours before (as is normal with other airlines), only to be told that there were no more seats available for on-line check-in (but would magically become available if I paid a fee). As my company was paying for the flights, getting the fee reimbursed would be a pain in the neck and I decided to just check in at the airport as the system suggested. Only to find out that they could not assign me a seat until I could talk to an agent at the gate, and that the aircraft was overbooked and I may not end up flying at all that day. I make my way quickly through security and rush to the gate and stand at the counter for a long time to make sure I get a seat (thankfully). Only to find out that the aircraft is delayed. In the end, I made it to my destination OK albeit a bit late, but I think Vueling has set the bar really low if the passengers should feel thankful about just getting there safe but late."

Miinukset: "Both flights were delayed. The flight from GVA to BCN was on a plane whose seats don't have the nets to hold objects, which I have never seen in the ten years I have flown. On the same flight I did not like the attitude of the head of cabin services, who treated me and another passenger with a fast, rude attitude."

Plussat: "It was a 1 hour flight with no delays at all, we received everything we expected from it"

Plussat: "None of it. I understand it's a budget airline but there was just no hospitality."
Miinukset: "The attendants didn't do much to resolve issues. I was last on the plane and had one carry on bag which there were no rooms in the bin. She just shrugged, and told me to try and fit it under my seat, which by the way was too big, then she told me to just hold it on my lap. Everything that she said, and asked me to do was a full violation of what airline safety calls for."

Plussat: "Heard average things about Vueling after booking but our trip went smoothly. I'm sure it depends on the nature of the activity at the airport on any given day, but for us it was good."
