After we boarded the plane, we saw everyone get up fast to leave the plane. There was no information given on the speaker. As I came off the plane I asked the attendant and she saw it was due to westher in Prishtina. We waited another 2 hours to leave again but in the interim there was no information provided. I was able to check flight status on the Turkish airlines website and it stated new flight time but the screens in the IST airport didnt show it.

Better service, can be further improved by anticipating customer needs.

Miinukset: "I can't understand why I was booked with an impossibly tight connection. It's a huge airport, with multiple security checkpoints with long lines. I had an hour between flights, and the first flight landed just five minutes late. The gate for the second flight had already closed by the time I cleared the first security checkpoint. It would have been completely impossible to make it to the gate on time. Turkish put me up in a hotel, etc., for the night, and there were dozens of people in similar situations. But the airline shouldn't offer connections that are totally impossible."

The leg rests were absent and not enough room to spread legs. The basket in front too narrow and tight to put in anything. The charging unit for computer/mobile did not function. Miinukset: "They give you very little leg room. The seat in front of you touches your knees. After 8 hours in the same position it feels like you are stuck in a coffin or a primatial medieval torture device. The seat begins to hurt your back. You can't get in a comfortable position. You can't turn left or right. There's a little foot rest that gives you 10 minutes of relief but then that gets uncomfortable. If one of the people seated in with the inner row needs to use the restroom then the whole row needs to get up. It's cruel and unusual punishment. The airline just needs to expand the rows by 6 inches. Before you go bring a neck pillow and a butt cushion. Or better yet, pick a seat located in a front section that gives you more leg room. If you have the option then this should be a higher priority over a window seat. You will thank me for this advice."

Plussat: "For the price difference between turkish air and direct flights to Rome, for three people, we actually paid for ten days' room and meals. Although the plane was late in leaving, making us miss our connection (which was only one hour) in Istanbul...but Turkish Air paid for our hotel stay near the airport and the delay to our itinerary was minor."
Miinukset: "The legroom was the smallest of any trans atlantic flight I have taken....and I'm not a big person. There was no early option to upgrade seating. The guy next to me insisted on putting his legs and arms into my side of the seat. A direct connection to Turkish Airlines website would be helpful instead of WebJet."

So it was crowded, chaotic and we had to stand around unnecessarily, when we could have been drinking coffee or sitting comfortably elsewhere in the airport. On the flight they ran out of one of the meal choices and we just had to take or leave what they still had."
Miinukset: "Flight was cancelled, we wanted to get on the Skopje flight instead, but were told it's left already. We knew it didn't. After some back and forth we were put on the Skopje flight and arranged our own transportation to Prishtina. We learned later that the evening flight to Prishtina, which we were supposed to be put on originally, was also cancelled. If we didn't insist, we would have had to spend at least 24 hours stuck in Istanbul airport. If you've ever flown through there, you know it's one of the worst airports ever."

Low cost aircraft for business class pricing. Poor seat comfort. Basic food. No entertainment system. Almost no room for carry on.

United was perfect, enough space seat to seat, but Austria Airlines was horrible ( disgusting food & very small space seat to seat & late ) . 0 Stars if is possibile!!

And everytime one them passes by, they will knock me awake. I was extremely tired and tried hard to sleep yet they kept waking me up every time one of them passes by, no matter how skinny they were! Totally unprofessional."

Wish that would have been clear when I purchased the ticket. Also there is no clear info on what the cost is for your bag at what point in the check-in process."

KAYAK system is still sending me questions how was my trip! Ironically? Additionally, I had to book another ticket to get close to my destination, book a midnight Taxi to another country."

Plussat: "This isn't really the flight, but see below for lack of personnel at Vienna airport to help locate gates after our flight arrived very delayed. I was running with a cane, and getting very upset when an airport employee with a cart asked if he could help. He took me to the gate I thought was for my flight, but it was for a DIFFERENT flight to Zurich. He calmed me down and drove me to the correct gate, talking the agent there to make sure it was the right one before he left me there. I wish I had time to get his name because he was very kind and helpful and I don't know what I would have done without him - wouldn't have made the flight, that's for sure. (He was in vicinity of gates F 3 - 13 on Sunday June 11 approximately 5:15 - 5:30pm Vienna time, if anyone wants to know)"
Miinukset: "Our flight was delayed almost one hour. Even though I had only one hour between flights, I was told (in Split) that all flights would be delayed, so no worries. On the plane, they gave information for some flights; for the rest of us they just said, go to your gate (for connecting flight) as quickly as possible. Flight landed at 5:05pm. When I walked out of plane (I was using a cane; recovering from broken ankle so have some trouble walking distances), there was no board with flight info, just immigration. Finally I saw a flight board, and had 10-15 minutes walk still. Also, signage wasn't great. I called after an Austrian Airline flight attendant who was also leaving, but she never heard me. Finally I found the right direction, still had security to go through. I was running with the cane (not good for my ankle). Essentially there was no help. Until a man driiving one of those carts helped me - I write about him above in what I liked about the flight."

Just to be honest and to take care of people

No screen map on in front of you to track the flight like Turkish air! No food or coffee for 2h30 just a small plain water and a very small piece of chocolate🤔

Miinukset: "The crew in Cluj airport could not care less about getting the plane boarded and departed on time. For 20 minutes crew stood around in the airport talking to each other and using their cellphones. Finally the transport bus was loaded only to have the bus driver get out, and talk to another employee while simultaneously using his phone. No information was given for the delay and the plane was boarded at time of departure. This careless and unbothered attitude resulted in a missed connecting flight for my partner and I. We were completely unassisted by crew on the plane and ended up having to wait 24hours for our next flight home. Absolutely disgusted by the service provided from Cluj to Munich. I would seriously consider another airline before booking again with Lufthansa for this route."
Miinukset: "The flight was delayed several times and we were kept waiting at the gate without knowing when exactly we will leave."
Plussat: "Food quality was good, and movies had a great selection. Boarding went quickly."
Miinukset: "We did not request special meals because in the past there has always been an option without cheese. For both legs of the trip, everything had cheese. They tasted great, but left my husband eating only bread. At the first meal the crew just shrugged their shoulders. Second meal they brought him a snack from business class, but it had cream cheese on the sandwich. Drinks were only served during the meals on an 8 hour flight. When crew came back through at the first meal, they only had two bottles of wine in hand offering top offs (no cart, just physically carrying the bottles). We do not drink alcohol. During the second meal I did not even see them offering the top offs. All other airlines have at least come through a couple of times offering water or soda. Announcements were only audible half the time. Customs forms were confusing for people passing through Canada. This might have been explained over the intercom, but again, it was hard to hear."

They weren't particularly large people, just average men but their arms were in my space all the time. Also if I drop something, I cannot pick it up, there's no room. For transatlantic flights the seats should be bigger."

Need more time to pass the long lines and still be able to catch the connecting flight. Not a smooth connection."

Lufthansa held our plane due to their error in some runway and docking issues and we, as well as 25 other were escorted to our connection by Lufthansa staff. Excellent customer service even though it was their fault. They just did the right thing and did it well."

With the delay I didn’t get to the check in window till approximately 55 minutes before departure. Norwegian wouldn’t even let me check in. They said boarding had already stopped and the flight was closed. Sent me to the sales rep where I was told my only option was to switch to the same flight the following day, but that would cost me an additional 630€. I ended up stuck in Barcelona overnight and found a cheaper flight home with British Airways/American Airlines."
Miinukset: "The seats were so close together that it was extremely uncomfortable. I was charged 80 Euros extra for my bag which them claim was overweight, it was the exact same 10 Kilo weight as leaving Chicago. No service for water or food food unless you pay for it."

Was told that checkin closed 1 hour before take off & there was nothing they could do, customer service was in Oslo! Was given a piece of paper with 2 phone numbers!"

I received a text message again, that the flight would be delayed further and meal vouchers would be given out. No one came to the desk for literally-hours and hours and hours. People were calling, but no one to get ahold of. When the meal vouchers did come, it was hardly a meal rate, but snack rate. I could literally get water and a bag of chips without spending more money. Aside from that-the only place to get food at that time had VERY little to offer. Then-as the flight was delayed, I was stranded in New York City as the busses were no longer running. I had bought 2 seats, only to not make either of them. I had to book a train-wait another 3.45 hours into the morning hours, and pay for the entire train. All of this was after the flight to Europe had been canceled without purpose, and I am still waiting for a refund for booking another flight after missing the origional connection-considering i had to fly to Paris instead of Oslo-and my destination was Berlin. Miinukset: "Where to begin, first of all the flight was delayed. And not just one or two hours, but almost 5 hours! The communication from the boarding crew was atrocious, as they did not keep us informed until maybe an hour after the fact that it was already delayed. After finally being cleared to board we were all cramped and rushed on a shuttle from the waiting area to the plane. I've been on cramped planes before, but maybe not this badly. I received a middle seat, which was alright, but the amount of space to move around in was unacceptable. I attempted to load my carry on in the storage compartment overhead but it was all taken up. That made matters worse in terms of having space to stretch my feet out, as the person's next to me were not the kindest and kept cramping me even more. The delaying of my flight made me miss my check in to my hotel two hours later. I lost most of my day I'm being able to have free time before the check in due to it. Overall, I was not satisfied one bit with the airline service. I just hope that my return flight is a more pleasant one."

Miinukset: "The cabin crew didn't have any personality, and didn't look happy most of the time, a smile goes along way. When you look for a cost effective flight especially when flying with family including 2 young children you think it is good that the flight costs were quite good, however when you add in the additional baggage fees each way and the reserving you seats so you can all sit together the overall flight costs including the extortionate food prices on board makes them out to be much the same if not higher than that of one of the premium airlines that already include all those things in your flight cost. Not to mention when arriving home in Boston around 40 passengers bags had been left in London and there was NO Norweign staff available to help with this, it tool numerous requests from passengers as well as the flight services people to get a Norweign member of staff to come and help. SO there were a lot of unhappy passengers. I will be seriously considering whether i use Norweign any more in the future because of this."

Miinukset: "all of the food was mediocre, overpriced and not even a cup of water was free. no napkins were provided. trash was rarely picked up. staff was direct and not very friendly. it felt very impersonal. baggage was WAY overpriced, as were seats, so it would have been the same as buying flights on another airline and with more courtesy. I wouldn't fly with them again unless it was a weekend trip and i was flying alone and trying to save money."

They did not delay the boarding times and I had to run to get my plane even though I was at the airport 3 hours before hand. I barely made it running full force in my sock feet. Miinukset: "Only real complaint is that the premium/business passengers don’t get luggage preference. Part of the perk of premium should be exiting passengers off the aircraft first, which they don’t do, and your luggage should come out of baggage claim first but they don’t tag it separately."
Plussat: "The plane was new and had could technology. The lighting, windows, touch screens and bathrooms were all in good condition."
Miinukset: "The flight took a long time to load. I could not check in online or pick my seats. We checked a stroller when boarding, and when we got off we were told we could not get it until we went through customs. Customs at LAX takes an hour to get through, which left us with a baby and all of our carry-on luggage to transport for an hour. We traveled through many airports on this trip, but never had our stroller not available at the gate."

We are exhausted from the long travels & are even more pissed off when multiple customers kept waiting for their luggage. I felt even more horrible to the family that was taking a cruise the next day. Can you believe Norwegian airlines are closed on Sunday. Couldn't talk to customer service until Monday when they opened. Bad customer satisfaction;("

They didn't give us our boarding pass, we missed our flight, they made us purchase a completely different route for an outrages price, or new flight was delayed for 3 hours, they made us miss all of our connecting flights, they didn't have new boarding passes ready when we arrived late, they made us go through customs and re-check-in just to get on a connecting flight, they charged our card without or consent, and they charged us an international fee even we made all our purchases online. Stay clear!!!"

The physical situation at Barbados' Grantley Adams International airport is completely inadequate as it relates to the convenience of access for intransit passengers. Passengers are in a queue in the open (hardly any area to empty pockets, etc) to go through security before entering the in-transit area to make the connection. It is EXTREMELY inconvenient, but may be due to lack of planning of resources for passenger flows. Doing an intransit connection on LIAT is not convenient, is somewhat of a challenge."
Plussat: "I recently had surgery after I had purchase my tickets to travel, and needed crutches to get around, which was very challenging for me. I was not sure how the service would have been, but I am glad that I used LIAT. The attendant at the check-in counter was very helpful. The young man who assisted with the wheel- chair thank you and also the air hostess on the flight. Great service will use the service again"

Miinukset: "To start off, the flight was late. Take off time came around and there was no sign or explanation of what was going on. Then when we were finally directed to get on the plane, I was attended by the rudest person I have seen at a help counter. She turned her face and walked away in the middle of one of my sentences to go check why there was a dog at the end of the line! She also told me to move out of the way, but didn't instruct us where to go after she scanned our boarding passes and the door to the plane was closed. I had an 8 hour layover in SXM and I know my bags made it there from JFK, but on landing to SKB my bags were no where to be found. LIAT apparently can't track where they put bags, so I'm currently going on day two of my arrival to St. Kitts without my suitcases."

I'm stuck in Antigua because I missed my flight and Liat does not pay for hotel stay or for your new ticket(s) on flights you missed. This is not a one time incident. They do not respect their customers and they've been late for me and my friends multiple times. My best advice is never to fly with them. You'll end up stuck spending your own money in an unwanted stop. Take Seaborne or Winair. They fly to the same islands and have way better customer service- not to mention they arrive and depart on time. NEVER LIAT EVER AGAIN!"
