Miinukset: "I did not like the food … I’m allergic to dairy so I can’t have cheese or cream in pasta or milk in polenta with beef stew. So there wasn’t anything for me to eat. Plus the crew should tell you what kind of pasta you’re getting! I got the pasta but I didn’t know it was filled with cheese and cream but by the time they came back to me I told them that I can’t have this they didn’t have anymore left of anything so I didn’t have anything to eat. And the breakfast the next day was awful. And by the way I saw that the crew had a really good meal. I should be able to pick up meal ahead of time… When you’re booking. It was a long day with no hot meal."

For transatlantic flights the seats should be bigger."

Plussat: "Flying from San Francisco to Madrid via Munich in economy class. All very good in general, in fact the best experience compared with other airlines I have used in the past for the same trip. Vegetarian meal was good, but only on the long leg. Munich to Madrid was not possible to choose the special meal, but that is not that important for me, so I eat what I could and that was good enough. The crew was super nice. The plane is huge, toilets are literally 'downstairs' and extra room to hang out. I will definitely choose Lufthansa again for my trips to Europe."
Miinukset: "If you want to reserve a seat in advance you need to pay for it, that's the only thing I didn't quite like because I found it after I bought the ticket. It was not mentioned clearly in advance, and it felt like an afterwards surprise, really? I paid for it anyways. For me it is worth it to make sure I get a window seat on the long leg flight."

Miinukset: "Ticket written on Air Canada but Lufthansa was carrier. Not possible to check-in on line leaving very few choices for seating. Tried to check-in on Sunday for Monday flight -- system errors resulted and phone number provided by system only works M-Sat. My initial leg was on Iberia and they could not check me in for entire flight. Major scramble in Frankfort to resolve issues. Never again!"

Miinukset: "Difficulty with Lufthansa's website made it so that I could only complete check in for one person in our party. When we arrived at the airport and they printed boarding passes, the Lufthansa agent re-assigned seats without asking or telling me and gave us all middle seats. Very poor form. Food was either average or bad, depending on what was served. Boarding is unorganized, with people lining up over an hour prior to boarding and almost completely ignoring their boarding groups."

Miinukset: "The seat pitch is inhumane. I could barely fit into the seat without hitting my knees on the seat in front. And that was before the person ahead of me reclined. It's not like Lufthansa is a budget airline. It's a full-fledged major carrier charging full-fledged prices. Seriously, I was expecting more."

Plussat: "Crew worked hard to make the journey pleasant, including the second crew for my connection to New York JFK, a much longer flight. Even some of the food was edible."

Miinukset: "The seat in front of mine was reclined in the already cramped space provided, twice as far back as any other seat I could see. Please look into the recline on that seat for future passengers. The crew hit my seat, repeatedly with their carts and did not remember to offer drinks to us as they pushed it by. The airlines should consider removing that seat as an option to passengers if there is not ample room for the flight crew to maneuver around it. It made for an unpleasant experience overall."

I could not go to transit hall until someone took my luggage so I was able to board but no place to leave luggage like other airlines, that was not fun since the transit halls had the sleep pods I could have used"

Miinukset: "flying used to be enjoyable, now with the seats packed like sardines in a can, it just is not pleasant..honestly...I love going to Europe, Asia and overseas in general, but after 35 plus years of watching leg room shrink to none..and the width of the seat large enough to accommodate a 10 year old, flying now overseas is a chore i won't put up with anymore, Airbus is the worst. I'm 5'10" and 180 lbs so it's not like I'm big. Add to this the luggage and other fees, and flying is absolutely miserable for more than 1 hour."

No notification until arriving at the Frankfurt airport. 2 counters open for United, with 2 employees and 250 people waiting to see what is going on. Very little clarity or clear communication. Not to mention the members working the counter were incredibly rude and not very accommodating. Very unpleasant experience taking an entire weekend to return to SF and the repercussions of missing a wedding Sunday due to an added 24 hours of travel time."

Miinukset: "Checking in was extensive for unaccompanied minor. But gate crew was very unnattentuve and though we showed up as first in line, they did not focus, and kept saying to wait. Ultimately our son was last person on the plane."

Miinukset: "My check in luggage was in very bad condition when I receive it. My clothes were all wet and they got bab by each other’s colour. Many clothes are not in a condition to wear now. Those were expensive and I had a big loss because of that."

Miinukset: "the connection flights was the worse! The gate was changed in Amsterdam 3 times! From D82 to C6 and then to C11. The distance between B82 and C was 20-30 minutes walk. No rushing was needed though, the flight was delayed for 1:30h and after we all boarded a further delay was announced. I will never fly with KLM."

Miinukset: "One of few airlines with seats right next to kitchen Super old plane! No Usb charging possible (or we all couldn't find) I asked for aisle seat as always. They said we give you a window seat but we have blocked the 2 seats next to you so you have 3 seats. I thanked and asked for that aisle seat and they said no again. Then obviously both seats were fully booked and I jammed in the corner. Ridiculous."

There was no info while booking, no info while buying the ticket, no email after buying, no email from the airline, nothing. I’ve never even heard of a transatlantic flight without a meal included."

Miinukset: "Not mentioned that in Munich I had to change terminal and pass again on security check. If I would have bought some bottles in Vilnius or Riga duty free, I would have had problems"

Plussat: "Crew were efficient and friendly."
Miinukset: "Coffee creamer sachets are insufficient in quantity for the coffee. Even with two sachets the coffee was still nearly black. The flight was full and the cost of checked in luggage ensured everyone used their carry on allowance. As a consequence, overhead bins were full. I left one bag at the front of the plane and had another at my feet. However, it was a short flight, so not too unbearable."

Miinukset: "airBaltic has a terrible luggage policy for musicians. They make you pay extra if you want to bring a musical instrument on board, even a violin which fits easily into the overhead bin. It is honestly discriminatory. Will not be flying with them again."

Plussat: "the flight started at time. the attendant were fine. but i consider this flight not as a cheap flight. therefore, it should be possible, so early in the morning to offer a coffee at least."

Miinukset: "super small plane... had to climb a very narrow staircase into the plane... overhead bins couldn't accommodate much of anything... we weren't warned this in advance. one rude steward (Miks) July 21 Flt. BT444, 18:30-19:50... he just stood there watching me struggle up the outside staircase into the plane with my suitcase... scolded me for bringing suitcase on board, argued with me, etc. (I've traveled the world and this suitcase is always brought on board)... he was not service-oriented or helpful. thankfully, other staff did help... but he left a bad taste in my mouth for this airline."

At check in we were told I had not done this and we had to go pay at another desk in the airport and come back to the check in line, 40 euros each. I showed the agent my paperwork that showed one bag each--it was not explicit on the paper whether this was the allowance or what I had paid--and she shrugged and said "Bad information. You have to pay now and you can take it up with the airline later." This will be a pain in the neck."

Miinukset: "on the website i ordered and payed for a meal, and automatically it went to the last and the shortest leg of the flight. it did not ask which leg i was interested in. so i phoned their customer service to get this fixed, they said they cannot fix it and closed the phone on me. on the website is said that from israel you cannot do advance internet checkin, and when i arrived at the checkin they said that i should have done this advanced check in, and since i didn't i need to go to their ticket office and pay a penalty of 35$ per passenger. there also was no warning on the website of any such penalty. i will never fly with them again if i can help it."

Apparently Air Baltic has no clue about how to run a service business. Somebody has to teach them this naked reality: IN SERVICE BUSINESS YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE YOUR MAJOR MARKETING ASSETS! They don't even serve a glass of water, apparently they could not manage to integrate it in the ticket price. But they dare to get thirsty and unhappy customers on the plane. Anyways: This airline company is charging extra for luggage. And I could not see this anywhere when I was buying ticket online. If I knew I'd never buy the ticket from Airbaltic. "Not writing it clearly and visible at the time of ticket purchase" is certainly tricking and misleading us. This is a crime!"

Miinukset: "We got disembarked from the aircraft for technical reasons, then they towed the same aircraft to the next gate and off we were. Delay almost two hours."

Miinukset: "No fee food or beverages at all. Attendants were very pleasant. Since this is an economy airline there reallly is no complaint. Our flight was full and boarding went smoothly."

Plussat: "It was very easy to print boarding pass."
Miinukset: "The scanners did not accept my boarding pass. 40% of the passengers had to have boarding passes reprinted. It was chaotic."

Plussat: "Flight was on time which was surprising given a late snow storm in Tallinn."
Miinukset: "The flight was fully booked, and the system re-assigned seats for a number of passengers. This created confusion as passengers arrived to their assigned seats to find other passengers in the seats. There also appeared to be a miscommunication between the crew as some crew members said to passengers whose seats were taken they should sit anywhere, whereas other crew members tried to get everyone back in their assigned seats. This was frustrating. Also the overhead bin lockers are very difficult to open"

Plussat: "Boarding was efficient."
Miinukset: "No free food or drink of any kind. That would have been okay since prices were reasonable. However, they completely skipped my row on my side of the plane, and I had to use the call button to get service."

Plussat: "New Planes, crew"
Miinukset: "Entertainment cost !!!"

Plussat: "Fine, left on time, short flight."
Miinukset: "No complaints"

Miinukset: "I tried to check in on my phone and the app did not allow me. The only way was buying lunch in order to move on with the check in process. I decided to get to the counter and the person charged me US$ 35 euros only for checking me in (even though their app had problems to check in). They charged me in total US$ 100 for checking in and checking my luggage. The service was terrible, especially from the person at the counter. In addition to all that, my luggage did not arrive to the final destination and was lost for an entire week. Every time I called the airline, they were charging me per minute even though they were the ones who lost my suitcase."

Plussat: "On time"
Miinukset: "Mediocre crew Pricing policy makes you feel like a fool. Ex : if you book not directly from their website, you won't receive a email asking to check online and will end up paying a 30e fee at the counter."

Plussat: "Clean and modern airport in Riga Baggage well handled on connection"

Miinukset: "The flight from Zurich to Riga and especially the landing was terrible. I travel a lot and this was among the worst flights I have had. I felt as if the pilot was not in control of the plane."

Plussat: "We had several problems catching our connecting flight in Moscow and would have been grounded if the exceptional ticketing agents hadn't worked so hard to make sure we could make our flight. Definitely a positive experience with airBaltic."

Plussat: "1. On the way from Amsterdam to Riga I was forced to place the second bag under the seat, although the flight was half empty, and there was plenty of luggage space available on the top. 2. After I bought tickets I called the 800 number (was on hold for 40 min) and requested aisle seats for both flights, which the representative assigned to me. On the way back I was placed by the window despite my previous reservation. 3. On the was back in the airport I was charged 40 EUR for the luggage. It was not specified anywhere during the booking, or on the ticket, and I am still disputing this charge. I am traveling international 6-8 times per year, and this is the first time in my life when I feel like posting a negative review for the flight, but that's how I feel it this time."

Plussat: "The flight was short, I had a good seat. I booked emergency exit, which was row 9a, however it was actually seat b since there was no seat a (space next to emergency door instead) - so you are better off booking seat 10a, then you have no seat in front of you!"
Miinukset: "The plane was very old, clearly over 20 years - that always worries me."

Miinukset: "Long in general because of change in Ryga."

Miinukset: "The booking did not include my luggage despite buying the most expensive version of the fare. When I spoke to customer service, the could do nothing. I filed a complaint and will seek recompense further up."

Plussat: "As expected for a budget flight."
Miinukset: "Even though it's a budget flight, I feel water should still be available to passengers free of charge."

Miinukset: "I was unable to check in online (and I tried multiple times with multiple devices). I got the unhelpful message that I simply couldn’t “check-in at this time.” This left me thinking that I should keep trying. A more specific error message would be more helpful."

Plussat: "Empty plane so I could switch to exit row. The other rows do not have enough room for someone 186cm tall"

Miinukset: "There are no complimentary beverages, not even water, on the flight."

Miinukset: "Recieved notifications of flight delays. Left for lounge 1 hour after expected take off and 1.5 hours before new departure. Returned 45 min later to see the plane had already left"

Plussat: "Great crew fromFCO to AGP. The head cabin attendant was amazing and very friendly and professional."

Miinukset: "Cancel connecting flight without offering alternatives on the same day. Confirmed another flight a week later of the intent flight without my consent. Had to rebook connecting flight a day earlier of the intent departure date, losing a day stay in B&B, and expense on transport due to different airports."

Miinukset: "Sitting at the back of the plane meant that we were the last to be served any food and only had about 20 mins to eat anything that was left over prior to landing. They ran out of most hot food"

Miinukset: "Flight was delayed 4 hours was unable to catch my connecting flight in London to Barcelona. Had to buy another flight ticket in London, wait another day, pay for a night a hotel to get to my destination in Barcelona. I was supposed to arrive in Barcelona on Saturday April 1st and did not get there until 2 the following day. Will not use this service again."

Miinukset: "Flight was delayed of more than five hours Actually the flight was canceled but they displayed it as delayed... running to the counter I was rescheduled to 6pm"

Plussat: "Ryanair, easyjet et al are the big fish in this pond, but the two times I've flown with vueling has been better than all my experiences with the others. Nice to see an airline whose staff looks like it actualy cares about customer service. Thanks a lot!"

Miinukset: "They didn't assign my husband and I seats together. There was a delay of over 30 minutes."

Miinukset: "Apparently Vueling, Iberia's cheap cousin, saves a middle seat in row 1 and charges more. A lot more! I was pressured in Helsinki into letting Swissair, the contracted boarding agent it seems, fill that seat, 1/2 of which is what you get for paying 'business' in a plane that has all economy seating. There was no logic or ability to board before economy and indeed my boarding pass stated economy. The woman that was added to the oversold seat got intoxicated and was half in my seat. I will never fly this again and it's not worth the stress to fight for some refund but I was taken advantage of with charging me a 300+ euro seat for this joke of a flight in a "better" level of service."

Plussat: "Exactly what I expectedfor a discount airline seats are a little small legroom is a little short same as you always get on all the other"
Miinukset: "For a big guy this was an extremely tight fit"

Miinukset: "My travel bag, checked through from San Jose CA to A Coruna, Spain, with plane change to (Vueling) in London Heathrow, did not arrive with me to A Coruna. Now I am waiting for news of where it is and when it will be delivered to me."

Miinukset: "seats were really tight with little leg room. A long walk from security to the gate"

Plussat: "I really liked the idea of boarding from the back of the plane which made boarding so much more efficient!"

Plussat: "Having the people who are at the back of the plane load first made it so much more efficient"

Plussat: "on time, great boarding, comfortable seats and above all... inexpensive"

Plussat: "Modern aircraft. Very clean. Polite staff. Some more willing than others to be friendly and helpful. Staff left you be rather than bombarding you with sales of various items like with some other low cost airlines"
Miinukset: "Boarding was very late for no apparent reason. Left us almost an hour delayed once boarded. Some of the staff were unfriendly while others were lovely. Not much space at all between the seats both forwards and back. In flight service was poor. As I booked through BA I expected a BA style of flight; in flight meal and drinks."

Plussat: "It was a 1 hour flight with no delays at all, we received everything we expected from it"
