Miinukset: "Weeks before the flight, Turkish Airways denied giving me a seat. In the day before the flight their on-line computer system did not recognize my ticket number all though it has for the previous three legs of the ticket. When I arrive at the airport I was told the flight was over booked and giving a stand by boarding card. There were about 15 of us with stand by. Only two were denied boarding. Although they did not say so it was clear it was because it was a Kayak reservation. It took 3 1/2 hours in Istanbul airport to get a boarding pass on the next flight. I spoke to eight Turkish Airway representatives. None of them were helpful. Each shifted me to another office elsewhere in the airport without giving me clear direction. Apparently the issue was that they did not want o pay compensation although I never asked for this. In the final office back outside passport control I said I was looking for a boarding pass not compensation.. They gave me on on the 6:10 pm flight and had me sign a statement that I had received 600 Euros in compensation. When I arrive at JFK, my bag was not on the flight. They say they will deliver it today."

I just had come off 20hrs of travel. Phone on mute. No e mail. Now they say will deliver this evening - but no time slot so another wasted vacation day waiting for them to get their act together. Miinukset: "In a wheelchair. Check in was terrible and rude. The fact that SAS did not allow us to bring my electric chair directly to the gate was absurd (only airline in the world that did that). The fact that it was not at the gate when we arrived in Newark surprised even the SAS Gate agents. Had to go to baggage and collect it in oversize baggage. Will not fly SAS again until that policy has changed."

Miinukset: "If you want to have a different meal than what they offer, you have to contact customer service before hand. I never been on a flight so far, where there wasn’t a vegetarian option. So I was pretty surprised when they just offered beef fajitas. I asked for a vegetarian option only to find out there isn’t none. The flight attendant wasn’t super nice about it either, she just said you have to order it online. But at no point I got an email saying, if you want something different than what we offer, tell us! So that was pretty annoying..."
Plussat: "Everything about the flight was wonderful except baggage claim, in BOTH directions."
Miinukset: "It could have been the perfect trip, but I am not sure why SAS baggage handling is so mediocre. In both the flights from EWR to OSLO and back, every aspect of the trip was super, except for the wait for baggage. In Oslo, I estimate having waited at least a half an hour at the carousel before the bags started showing up, and the same in Newark. We had long cleared Immigration, which normally is not a speedy process, and yet still had to wait at least 20 minutes for the FIRST bag to appear on the carousel. Most annoying, particularly after a relatively long flight, and especially for transfer passengers who needed to recheck their bags to continue to other destinations."
Miinukset: "How possible with any criteria could charge 33€ for 1.5 such exagerate no good company at all .."
Plussat: "No comment since very short flight."
Miinukset: "My husband was unable to check in on line. SAS when contacted by phone which was difficult to do because it is hard to locate their number had no explanation other than maybe due to security. We missed a tour due to the time spent (unsuccessfully) trying to solve this problem."
Miinukset: "I ordered vegetarian from their transfer office at the Copenhagen airport. Days before the return flight yet to chicago they had no record of my vegetarian meal The same transfer desk told me there were no morning flights to amsterdam the next day so they booked me 930pm next day, I found hour later a flight on Dad leaving 6am next morning, had to buy own toclet"
Plussat: "Everything about the flight was fine. Boarding, flying and retrieving luggage were all standard and went smoothly."
Miinukset: "I was upset that neither Kayak nor SAS provided any information about our ticket being a basic, basic ticket, by which I mean, did not include any checked luggage allowance in the price of the flight. I ended up paying 140 additional Euros for two bags. It appears that SAS's pricing is gaming the system when searching for flights or that Kayak is not being up-front about the type of fare they are advertising."
Plussat: "Entertainment options"
Miinukset: "Super hot throughout flight. Had a 9 hour layover and the flight arrived after the gates closed so the only options for 12am-5am were wooden benches in random sketchy areas. Had to wait in line to wait to get in line to finally board the plane The food was two rolls ups three hours apart"
Miinukset: "gate change at the last minute across whole airport, and I am in a wheelchair so it was very challenging. people at airport not accommodating, kind or friendly"
Plussat: "I loved that there were a lot of different movies, TV shows, games, music, and more to choose from- all for free! Then there was a dinner- not bad at all-, a snack later on, and breakfast too, all included. Headphones if you needed them ( lifesaver there as I had temporary misplaced mine), a blanket, and a pillow. The crew was really polite, and there was never more than one person in line for the bathroom."

Miinukset: "Full Flight was very hot and cramped. not sure if the AC was broken, but no effort was made to cool the cabin despite my requests. This made for a very sweaty, uncomfortable flight"

Miinukset: "Crew wasn't nice unless you were Scandinavian. I asked questions about going into Stockholm for our long layover. How easy it was, etc. they were less than helpful. My daughter and I figured it out ourselves. Won't fly them on next trip. Air France or BA r better"

Plussat: "Movie selection/Entertainment choices were good. Food was ok. Overhead storage space was adequate."

I didn't care about paying, at that pout I would have paid $100 for some water. Seats are RIDICULOUSLY small and when the person in front of you puts their seat back it's impossible to do anything. Forgot having your tray table down."

Miinukset: "After losing the bag they had charged me 60 Euros for, it took them over 24 hours to trace, retrieve and deliver the bag. They made no offer to refund the fee, which any reasonable company would have done."

Miinukset: "I asked for water and was given half a cup, when I requested they fill the cup they said if I wanted more I had to buy it. In addition, when we left the plane everyone pushed their way off instead of following the order of the rows."

Plussat: "Both crews from JFK to HEL and HEL to JFK were great. Very attentive and accommodating."

Miinukset: "The flight was delayed for 1 hour and we were sitting inside the airbus with no air condition due to technical difficulties on 35 degrees sweating like pigs. No water or snack was offered even though the delay was so big."
