The Manila to Japan leg were great, so was the Japan to Chicago… but it all went downhill from Chicago. Our connecting flight from Chicago to Philadelphia was cancelled, then our baggages were loaded onto a different flight than our actual rebooked flight. We made arrangements for us to pock-up our mis-routed luggages that arrived at Phildelphia a day after our flight. However, AA delivered the baggages, so we got a hold of our baggages at the end the day already.

Only thing i have to said is rough landing and food is not great so does the entertainment.

Perfect service and very nice staff I will fly with Japan airlines every time if I go back Thailand thank you very much

Overall, very good trip. I would definitely fly with Japan Airlines again. Food choices are Japanese-centric, flying back to Los Angeles after being in Asia two weeks, something different would have been nice. But overall, very good.

Excellent!

The delay was 6 and half hours… They didn’t provide any comfortable space to stay. We needed to worry about PCR test and everything, so at least they could provide reasonable offers which is that we could use JAL lounge or somewhere we could relax and stay.

LAX to Doha segment was the best. However entertainment touch screen was bad on the flight from Doha to Trivandrum.

I was on a Isle seat this other passger wanted me to swop to a middle seat I refused had asked at Bangkok for a Isle seat.Wanted the staff to ask me to move they refused Demanded to see my ticket number.. Not the cabin crew fault should have moved him spolt my flight

Ground Staff in SFO were rude

Airlines lost all my bags and is not being helpful at all in tracing them. Value of baggage is over $25,000. I expect a full refund and expect to be compensated for the loss.

Delayed and hour talking off and delay the other end unable to get into the gate, had to wait on the runway for almost 40 minutes, not what you need on a 25 hour journey from Australia to the UK. No reason was given for the delay taking off, on arrival because we were late our gate was taken. Poor experienced.

I had to repurchase my flight from HKG to SFO after finding out that a return ticket is treated as abandoned if one does not fly one way. Plussat: "It’s tough to make a 15 hour flight in coach very pleasant, but with the seats and entertainment system in the 777, it was really fine. I recently took a 6 hour flight on Wow airlines in a A320 and the seats were terrible and no entertainment. The Cathay flight, though it was more than twice as long on the air, was much more pleasant."
Miinukset: "I wasn’t crazy about the meals on the flight. A choice of chicken or pork was pretty limiting, at least for me. The plane did have a snack area which was open throughout the flight, which was good."
Plussat: "Business class passengers use Qantas lounge in Brisbane - fresh and well stocked. Boarding was hassle free and flat beds were very comfortable. Crew were helpful while being very busy."

Miinukset: "There were kids who were not well behaved. Their parents would not correct them, neither did the crew. There was a kid screaming and talking very loud behind me, while everyone was sleeping. I was unable to sleep on the flight, even with ear plugs. The kid sitting next to me was getting Play-doh everywhere, on me, the floor and all over the seats. He was also kicking the seat in front of him and his mother would not correct him. It would be helpful for the crew to say something to the parents, as some parents do not believe in discipline. The vegan food was very good on the flight to Hong Kong, but on the flight to Chicago it was bland. I was still very hungry after eating + did not get protein in the first meal. With the seat in front of me reclined all the way back, my knees were touching the back of the seat, my legs were swollen and in a lot of pain after the flight."

Plussat: "Other than loading and lack of information, the in-flight service was world class."
Miinukset: "Four travelers were seated in 4 different areas on flight from Hong Kong to San Francisco flight. Three of us of us were senior citizens. Two had disabilities and were.not accommodated in any way by Cathay Pacific (CP) while loading in the four areas of the plane. Those of us that we're physically able could not help those with mobility issues because of the proximity of the seating, I could not pre-check or request different seats on the CP website. I think that this was because of issues with the website, apparently due to IT system communication between American Airlines and Cathay Pacific.......on all six flights. On the transfer in San Francisco, Customs was closed when we arrived in San Francisco and we had to haul all of our baggage from one terminal to the other. There was no direction on how to handle this issue of Customs being closed while on the flight to San Francisco. I had to explain the issue of to the CP customer service crew in SF. The CP desk and they had never heard of it. American Airlines was equally poorly trained. I will also say that while at the CP customer service, there were three young adult males that we're not busy at the time and the watched us unload the baggage carts onto the scales and conveyor and then reloaded on to the carts to push to the AA terminal. We handled the bags two additional times because the CP staff did not know what to do and how to handle it. Other passengers were confused as well. I traveled internationally to Asia three times now on CP and the first two were excellent. In the past had had flown other carriers on out trips to asia. This experience on this flight was beyond bad. I had plan on several more trips to Asia the next three years, and I will say that at this point, I will not fly CP again. Something needs to change. A call to me is in order. I witnessed several gaps in CP systems and other issues with training the staff. Your survey did not specify the flight crew. Except for the loading issues and the lack of information about Customs being.closed at SF, the service was world class...what I had come to expect from CP"

Miinukset: "Flight delay was not announce until boarding time. Such chaos!! at 1:00 AM. Rescheduled the next 24hrs. I was lucky to live within one hour of the airport. Next day, after boarded the plane, had to sit inside plane for 2 1/2 hours until the plane takes off. It was not a good experienced, even though they gave us a voucher for 75.$"

Miinukset: "Our flight was cancelled and we were automatically placed on another EARLIER flight and we weren't notified. I found out the morning of our original flight, as our new flight was about to board. I still haven't figured out who was responsible for this snafu - the airline or Webjet.com. Webjet customer service was horrible and offensive when I tried to explain to them what happened; they said it was my responsibility to check the time. I would disagree - the customer is ultimately supposed to get an email notifying them of the flight change, giving them options. Based on that phone call with Webjet, I will NEVER do business with them again. As for the flight cancellation issue - if Kayak could help me get to the bottom of this, that would be appreciated."

Straight after clicking the confirmation button , I received a call and was informed that the advertised price had increased by $50. It was still affordable so I agreed to this extra charge. Stopped someone and asked. They told me I was at the wrong terminal! Get to other, check in. Ask if I have to collect luggage and customs at LAX. No goes right threw. Wrong. Waited for cases at LAX. Have to collect & go threw customs. No cases, lost in Melbourne. Then I was ignored."

I had heard that Turkish Airlines was great, but after flying on it from Vancouver to Istanbul, I didn't see what was great about it. It wasn't bad, but definitely not great. Middle of the road...

I think they are doing a great job in maintaining customer experience. I am satisfied and look forward to fly with them again. But they need to train the crew to be more polite while they speak English.

Ewr staffing had us waiting on the tarmac for 30 min dor a marshaller and someone to get the jetway to the door. Not Turkish Airlines fault on that one. Seating in economy was tighter than previous flights. An older A-330 was our plan. 6’1” with long legs, had to put my feet in the aisle for most of the flight due to lack of space

MY FLIGHT FROM ABU DHABI TO ISTAMBUL WAS DELAYED, WHICH MAKE ME LOOSE MY FLIGHT ESTAMBUL CHICAGO, WHICH MAKE MAKE LOOSE MY FLIGHT CHICAGO MEXICO, CONTACT YOUR GUEST SERVICE AND DIDNE HEL ME OUT EVENTUALLY AFTER MORE THAN 36 HOURS OF TRAVELLING HAD TO BOOK A HOTEL NIGHT NEAR O HARE AIRPORT AND A NEW TICKET, SUDDENLY AT 12 PM ON MARCH 8 SOMEONE FROM YOU COMPANY CONTACTED ME SAYING THEY WILL HELP ME OUT BUT SINCE I HAD MOVE ON THROUGH MY OWN MEAN THE GUARANTEE DOESNT APPLY AND WONT RE IMBURSE FROM YOUR!! This erasure of the record and random seat assignment nullify the effort on the part of the passenger (making a call is not a trivial act these days because of the long waits) and generate uncertainty in the minds of the travellers. Hope you can improve on this point. That will make an even better impression on the passengers."

The staff was RUDE and INSENSITIVE. Qatar was better in overall customer service. Worst customer service from Turkish airline."

Turkish Airlines service desk took the evidence (my ticket) and then refused to rebook me, forcing me to pay $600 for a new flight and for a visa to Turkey just so I could exit through security to book & pay for it. Of course the gates were nowhere near each other so we ran as fast as we possibly could to catch our next flight. When we finally got to the gate, the employees were so kind to rush us through each step of security and get us to the door and there had to be at least 7 or 8 people who were working and doing whatever they could to get us on that flight. It meant so much! We had been up since 2am to catch our previous flight and just wanted to get home to our families and dogs! We were so grateful they worked so hard to get us on the plane!"
Miinukset: "Because we were late, we got what I'm guessing were the last two seats on the plane. The window seats in the last two rows. It was EXTREMELY tight back there. I'm just glad we were able to get on the plane but the comfort level was really not great and for a 10 hour flight, that stunk."
