The flight was half an hour late, which is the new normal in Europe. Friendly crew.
My bag was delayed as of now by one day, maybe more. Besides, the flight was delayed by one and a half hours.
One flight attendant was amazing, 1st class although she wasn't even in business class. Somehow felt others were tired or mind somewhere else, so not really good service. Choice of food was basic, but good choice of drinks. Plane was comfortable and I think pilot was a woman, which is a nice change. Excellent that there are dividers in the middle seat in business class. Corona restriction rules, like mask wearing rules is extremely wise. Other airlines removed it, but I like better your choice better. Feels safer.

We went straight to security and immediately to the boarding gate but they had closed the gate and would not let us board, even though there was 15 minutes before the flight was due to leave. We were refused a refund and had to move flights to another airport 2 hours away and then had a 5 hour delay. We lost our car reservation as we would arrive too late to collect, we also couldn't check in to our hotel as planned as the hotel only allow check in until 11pm; we would have got there at 1am, so then had to book another hotel for the night. Airport staff at Lufthansa told us they could not help and told us to go away!"

The on flight meals and drinks were delicious and the entertainment selection was much larger than I expected. I hope to use this airline company again in the future."

Miinukset: "I had a business class seat but it was really more like premium economy for other airlines, but with lower quality. Food, especially for business clsss was not very good. The person next to me flies with them often and pre-requested gluten free but they didn't have anything for her. The seats were not clean with a leftover tissue and apple core from a previous flight. Lufthansa is now my last resort option when flying to and from Europe."

When boarding started, it was like refugees rushing to a life boat. Everyone was rushing to the front. Only one KLM staff standing there saying "... now is this group, yours is next,,,, we will call it out...." While he stopped some travelers, he did allowed some others passed without even checking their ticket. They have all the digital gears, and the screens to show the current boarding sequences, why don't they just use that. For some of us that did not have a excellent hearing, it was hard not trying to get closer to understanding what is going on.
Almost the only airline that offers free coffee and bread even in short 1 hour flights

Very cramped flight, overhead bins were all completely filled, and passengers had to fly with bags by their feet which was not very comfortable for me personally.
Miinukset: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

Last minute gate change at Charles de Gaulle, required me to walk further to alternate gate for my flight to Punta Cana.
Miinukset: "They have a terrible communication problem, they never communicated why the flight was late, they never communicated what they were doing or what was happening. Bad customer service. Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. Without that tickets we can not claim the bags. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

Miinukset: "Everything. The crew seemed to skip over me and my husband multiple times. So we sat there with garbage the whole flight. My entertainment was broken and they had no solution but giving me $30 to use at the duty free shop the same day as the flighty. I paid extra for premium seating in an exit row and that was their idea of fair compensation. The crew ran out of vegetarian food so I didn’t eat anything but cold stale bread. The crew was non-existent most of the flight."

Delta/Air France clearly singled her out. i am outraged! I have traveled many, many times and have sent hundreds of students on nearly the same trip -- and none have had as rough a time as she had. They will be hearing from me."

Miinukset: "People may think,that the delay of the flight has set my mood for this review but I can ensure it has most definitely not. With all the bad weather, I was already very happy to connect right on time in Paris. However, a long haul A380 flight with such a tight seat configurstion is almost embarrassing for an airline. The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. However, in all the 7 h between the services, nobody came around with refreshments in a completely booked flight, neither was announced that a trolly would be set for self service in the galley. Lucky the ones who got up and found out about. In terms of amenities, again, the airline is lacking of originality and saves cost. Bottom line: you get from A to B, but there are so many better competitors in the market, which I shall definitely consider on my next travel."

Plussat: "Premium Economy on AF Boeing 777 on this route is not "a little less than Business", but rather "a little more than Economy". Seats, in a 2-4-2 configuration, are hard but OK, as well as the pitch. Good screens and entertainment."
Miinukset: "With the main meal, AF serves only "ordinary wine", This looks and tastes cheap. On the same route and class, Vietnam Airlines serves premium wines, a nice touch that would not cost fortunes to AF! Also, the "Asian" choice for the main course did not look and taste like the real thing."

Miinukset: "I came in 45 minutes before the departure time, but they said i was late. And i asked what can the solution, they said the solution is to cancel my ticket and buy a new one. And they cancelled my ticket, then I did not get any other choice than buy a new ticket at more than $700 just from Abidjan to New York. But some other airline companies, when you miss your flight they find a next one for you and you just pay the fee, but not to cancel your ticket. This last case can happen only if the traveller does not show up and doesn't call."

Miinukset: "The staff for SN Brussles is very rude to Africans. They are super disrespectful and it is very obvious how tacist they are. It is uncomfortable flying witha stafflike that. Also our flight had electrical and engine problems at our first stop in Freetown. Once we landed in Monrovia, it took about 35mins for them to let us off the plane because the doors were not working and opening up. Once we finally got off the plane, it took a whole 2 hours for them to get our baggage e off the plane because spmething was wrong and they couldnot access the baggage to take it off. I am aware that planes can “fly with one engine”, but flying a plane with one engine along with it having electrical problems is not safe and A RISK! why take that risk of something bad happening, not only would lives of innocent people and their crew get lost, but that is a million dollar assest that could get lost and a PR nightmare. It is a shame they took that risk. They also dodnt tell us until we landed. Had I known before we took off at Freetown I would have gladly fot off and found another mode of transportation to get to my final destination. SN Brussels is know to send their sh*tty planes to Africa, because there are always problems with the planes heading to that continent. It is just another obvious proof of their racism."

Miinukset: "The transatlantic flight from JFK took off about an hour late and we missed the connecting flight. This was very disappointing since half of the people on our flight were gong to Munich and I would have expected the airline to hold the plane for an extra 15 - 20 minutes so we could have made the flight. Instead, an almost empty plane must have taken off on time and we are only able to fly to Munch 5 hours later. Unacceptable from Brussel Airlines / Lufthansa. They should not sell this connection as a flight to Munich or should have held the plane."
Plussat: "Checking in at Gothenburg was easy and staff was great. They went above and beyond to ensure that I could bring my hand luggage with me."
Miinukset: "Flight crew could stand to learn some service tips from the ground and phone crews. No entertainment on a 2-hour+ flight with 2 kids..."
Miinukset: "Called and made a reservation directly with Air Brussels to make sure we got a bassinet seat for our infant and that did not happen. Old airplane and very bad customer service all around. Took over 2 hours to check in at 4am in the morning."
Miinukset: "The special meal that I had requested was not available. In fact the only meals on the Brussels to Washington leg were chicken/fish. No vegetarian meal was provided."

Miinukset: "We weren't allowed access to fill empty water bottles before boarding the plan. The plane made a stop at Kigali, Rwanda, where it was cleaned, resupplied and picked up passengers. It was almost 4 hrs. before we were offered water to drink. Drinking water is vital for maintaining health while travelling."
Miinukset: "Never flew it; had to transfer to Lufthansa flights."
Miinukset: "The flight was canceled. I found out the day before my departure - the airlines didn't even contact me to let me know - and I never got reimbursed for the canceled flight. I had to purchase a $1500 new ticket to get back home in time. I wrote to the Brussels Airlines and they never addressed these complains."

Miinukset: "the airbus apparently has warm spots, and could not avoid being too warm for international flight. Once arrived in Malaga, Spain, no signs whatsoever telling me to go to different baggage belt to find my luggage."

Miinukset: "The seats were completely uncomfortable, they have a leather thing where you put your neck on (on the long flights) which is completely uncomfortable. on one flight there was no entertainment system at all, and in the long one it was fine. Also on one flight while we have already been on the plane the light was delayed by over an hour, because they overbooked or something- it was pretty hell inside, very hot- and no one has even offered a warer. recommendation: avoid."
Miinukset: "Airfair.com is terrible. They re-ticketed my mother who was traveling with me on a different flight and would not acknowledge this. I was able to get it resolved but took many calls and emails - a huge hassle. I would never book another flight through this "travel agency"."
Plussat: "Crew were polite. Due to late BHX departure VCE connecting passengers were given barcode pass for fast lane thru security & passport control. BRU huge & a bit confusing. esp for arrivals from GB connecting to Italy. Lots of escalators and walking. Brussels airlines were fine. However, in future I would avoid using BRU as a connecting point unless more time between flights."
Miinukset: "Boarding was a bit disorganized but ended up being okay. After the grueling experience of getting to the airport, it was minor."
Plussat: "My Brussels-Chicago flight had been changed due to Brussels airport being closed. United and Brussels Airlines were outstanding in their allowing me to change to United Amsterdam -Chicago flight with no charges. Overall flight was very comfortable, and food was great in economy."
Miinukset: "The movie system worked only part of the time, but United will give us some compensation because of it. Boarding in Amsterdam was not systematic, and they didn't call out our group number. We took the bus out to the flight, so eventually it was fine."
The plane was filthy again
I carried the carry on bag on other Ryan Air flights, but they didn't allow and akaed for extra charges, that was ridiculous as my two kids were traveling alone and didn't have credit card to pay and Ryan Air does not accept cash. Will never fly Ryan Air again. Not worth it.

We left late and areived in Dublin late. The trays in front of our seats (all three in our row) were dirty with spilled teas etc and we were not able to use rhem. As for flight and crew and everything else it was ok and nothing special. We felt rushed and were told get a move on quickly."

Miinukset: "Horrible experience. Queued on foot at gate for ages including 15 mins waiting on tarmac outside plane in blazing sun. Luggage took one and a half hours to appear after landing. Ridiculous baggage arrangements which seem to be designed to save Ryanair airport handling charges. You take your bag through security as hand baggage which means no liquids but then it’s put in the hold and you have to wait for it on arriving. As usual with Ryanair, maximum inconvenience to passengers."

There was no clear guidance for queuing, so the speedy boarding we paid extra for was close to useless, staff then scanned boarding passes without a care for passports. Once on the plane the flight was delayed for 2 hours and only after 45 mins of sitting around waiting for an explanation were we given one by the captain."

Miinukset: "Having the family sitting separately on the flight as we were not able to afford to pay additional money to per book seats. But it was only a 2 hour flight so we coped. Think it would be a good idea if the airline didn’t just assume that because a child is 11 years old they are able to sit away from their parents. My son has additional needs and so although his chronological age is 12 years his developmental age is only 7/8 years so being sat away from his parents was very stressful for him. Maybe asking during booking if any of the party hav s additioonal needs would be a good idea."
Plussat: "Staff were good - even the cabin crew member who was still training was friendly and professional. Landing was incredibly smooth. The pilot also dealt very well with the turbulence and was able to predict it so the seatbelt sign already came on before any trouble."
Miinukset: "Even by budget airline standards, Ryanair is mediocre at best. The chairs are uncomfortable for a 4 1/2 hour flight - manageable, maybe, for a shorter journey but not anywhere good enough for that length of time. Boarding took an unusually long time and even priority passengers were stood around waiting to get onboard a good 15 minutes or so after already having gotten into the jetway. Not to mention after landing, we were stood over an hour waiting for baggage because, for some reason, four different flights used the same carousel (and presumably only had one team getting baggage off all four planes) despite there being a second one free which I'm sure they could have easily used. Don't have four planes landing near concurrently if you don't have the facilities to deal with it. Ryanair is cheap, yes, but by the time you have to pay ridiculous amounts for things most other airlines consider normal (for starters, you can't even take a full size hand luggage bag on board without priority boarding), it adds up to being less "budget" than it would have been to fly with a higher end airline like British Airways and you'd have to be an idiot to choose Ryanair over a cheaper, higher quality, airline. Honestly, I have no idea how people choose Ryanair more than once in their lifetime."

Miinukset: "My daughter had to pay $20 dollars to bring her boarding pass and then thy told her the card was declined. I called credit company at 1 am my time in Hong Kong and they said card was never submitted so could not have been declined. This caused us time, worry and money for long distance phone calls."
