Staff at the Airport was very good .
Overall is a pretty decent airline, the only thing the was a bit confusing was after you waiting in line for boarding you had to get back out for them to check your Covid test. I think you could do that while everybody starts lining up. Thank you.

El espacio es muy pequeño y chocan los brazos cuando ofrecen bebida ; o el de adelante se mueve y bota todo encima ... un desastre, cero comodidad , la silla más dura que nunca y el espacio para las piernas, o sea, yo mido 1.74 y voy justa, que será para el resto de la población.. no por incluir una fila más hagan que todos vayamos incómodos ; y de la tripulación, nada que decir, solo me pasaron servilletas y me desearon suerte .. me gustaría algún tipo de compensación, porque , para más remate, llegamos más tarde de lo estimado."
Plussat: "There was a lot of leg room on this plane. I do not think they have retrofitted it yet to today's money making planes as other airlines have done. We left late, but we arrived only a few minutes late."
Miinukset: "The boarding process took almost two hours. We were shuttled to a remote location, then we sat on the airplane for about an hour. We finally took off around 2:45."

Miinukset: "My fly was delate for 2 hours reason from previous fly cancellation. They didn't notified me."
Miinukset: "My original flight was supposed to land at 8:55pm but I was notified that it had been changed to land closer to midnight which was a problem because my hotel closed at midnight. After talking to the customer service agent at the airport he told me the reason my flight had changed was because my original airplane was flying out of another airport and the only way to make the flight that I had booked was to take a cab ride to the other airport. What he didn't explain was that its a 45+ minute drive between the two airports and I only had about 1.5 hours to get my bag, get on the taxi, check in at the other airport, clear security AND customs. Somehow by the grace of god it all came together but it was certainly a harrowing experience, not to mention the $45 I lost in cab fares. I cannot recommend LAN/LATAM."
Miinukset: "I was charged 200 dollars to transport a 400 dollars surfboard. This makes it prohibitive for anyone to travel with our entertainment equipment. It should only qualify as sport equipment for remunerated athletes, not amateurs like me."
Plussat: "Despite having a high "Sapphire" status with this One World Partner and being promised "preferente" seats by the airline when I reserved seats months ago, I was unable to view the seats or check in online. Both their App and their online system were down and unavailable. We were never able to view our actual seats online. The "preferred seats" my group on 5 could not have been worse!! We were seated consistently in row 11 or the very last row of the aircraft immediately in front of the lavatory, where the seats do not recline at all and where you hear and smell the bathroom for the entire flight.. There was NO space to breathe in our seats. I have traveled on dozens of airlines and this experience and these seats were the WORST! After this happened once, I specifically asked to insure that it would not happen again and was told that seats on my next flights were good but they were the same horrible seats. Part of our itinerary was on LAN and part was on TAM, who have now combined into 1 airline, but still operate on separate systems. So LAN customer service could not see the seats for TAM flights and vice versa. Their online system reflected a changed time for our return flight from 145pm to 250pm from Rio. We verified it 3 times (even though we could not check in or view our seats because of "technical difficulties" we could see the new departure tie, and the change was confirmed by our Sheraton concierge, but when we arrived to the airport they informed us that we had arrived to late for our 145pm flight! We showed them the app that showed our flight was changed to 250pm and they could not explain the problem. We were delayed 4 hours and arrived too late for dinner in Santiago. The final 4 hour flight at 4am flight from Santiago to Lima was torture. The seat in front was literally 6 inches in front of my face when they reclined and I could not recline. It was absolute TORTURE! Avoid this airline! To add the agony, they have lost my bag and do not know where it is!"
Miinukset: "Horrible seats even for "preferred" status clients. Unreliable and unavailable online service to check in and confirm seats. Two airlines who cannot view or help with the other's flights or even view seats or accurate flight information pretend to call themselves one airline. Lost luggage! Nearly impossible credit card payment system would not accept American credit cards"
Plussat: "Dreamliner was great for our 11 hour flight to santiago"
Miinukset: "The ground personne in Iguazul were terrific. Flight got cancelled after check in. We were in waiting area. Staff remembered who we were, found us, had us hurry bavk to check-in. Got our luggage, got it retagged, and got us on another flight leaving almost immediately. We got to BA with no problems as did our luggage. Yay for your smart, resourceful, thoughtful and efficient ground crew in Iguazu. They deserve a special thanks."

Miinukset: "HORRIBLE pre flight, and in airport staff. Incompetent, zero clue as to handle a delayed flight forced every passenger to hand over passports into communal plastic bags and took them for 2 hours somewhere in the airport unknown to us. I should never have to give up my passport into plastic bags/strangers EVER. They lost my customs paper, and then proceeded to accuse me of "selling it"--They took it after I passed through customs initially and if they put it back in passport after they threw them all in plastic bags- god knows where it is, or who's hands it was in who may have took it. They would not give us food vouchers, or water. They couldn't figure out how to get buses and hotel rooms for people- basic simple business skills-- add number of passengers going to hotel, calculate number of seats per bus and that will get you the number of buses needed--- they couldn't figure that out. I will call and give more detail, I promise."
Plussat: "Service was prompt, smooth boarding and the aircraft was modern. there was an entertainment option if you had downloaded their app before the flight - I hadn't downloaded it, so can't comment on the entertainment. Other than that - all in all great service."
Miinukset: "Snacks were crackers and 2 sweet biscuits. Would have been nice to have had something a little more savoury, but this is realistically already more than I would expect from European carriers, so can't complain."

Miinukset: "After a 2 hour check in line in the airport lobby, we ran to the gate, only for there to be absolutely no info available. Flight was then cancelled, 2 hours later. Re booking was an absolute nightmare. I will never fly LAN airlines again."
