Also, to the other passengers, sit down until it’s your turn to exit. What is wrong with you that you can’t sit five more minutes? Be polite and let the people in front of you go first, let them have room to grab their bags instead of having your elbows in their face."

Even if I wanted to be unaware of the information I could not because as I mensioned it was right before my eyes. I was aware of almost every minute of this flight....found it hard to let go and just let time pass"
Plussat: "My checked in bag did not arrive to HEL... Nedless to say I did check the bag tag was properly labeled RIX to HEL... oh well ... bad score for Baltic Air ... truly hope to see my bag in CGK when I arrived. Qatar airways pls come to the rescue."
Miinukset: "airBaltic has a terrible luggage policy for musicians. They make you pay extra if you want to bring a musical instrument on board, even a violin which fits easily into the overhead bin. It is honestly discriminatory. Will not be flying with them again."

Miinukset: "Long delay on first flight leg Staff provided little help with transfers, made us run through airport but then decided to close the next flight anyway without the transfer passengers Next flight offered was 9 hours later, only offer was a 10EUR meal voucher - ridiculous"
Miinukset: "Abigail in MLA (Luqa Intl Malta), one of the sassiest and unhelpful agents I have met. Ask for payment for baggage, does something with my credit card- then tells me I need to go to another desk to pay. So inefficient. This on top of her and her gate buddy screwing around at the desk throwing things at each other. Professionalism is not here. To top it off, the plane sat on the tarmac for 40 minutes and we just about missed our connection. Dirty plane too, gum stains on carpet and dirty seats. Will not fly with these clowns again."

Miinukset: "We were told upon check in that there was a charge to check in. I have never heard of such rubbish in 43 years of air travel. We were told we could check in online but we only had 4 minute in which to do it. We were charged €150 for 5 people. The check in Sgent was sour faced as well. Once aboard the plane (a nice new aircraft) we found the stewardesses sour faced as well. Overall not impressed by air Baltic!"
Miinukset: "on the website i ordered and payed for a meal, and automatically it went to the last and the shortest leg of the flight. it did not ask which leg i was interested in. so i phoned their customer service to get this fixed, they said they cannot fix it and closed the phone on me. on the website is said that from israel you cannot do advance internet checkin, and when i arrived at the checkin they said that i should have done this advanced check in, and since i didn't i need to go to their ticket office and pay a penalty of 35$ per passenger. there also was no warning on the website of any such penalty. i will never fly with them again if i can help it."

Miinukset: "This airline company looks a like person who is begging for money. First time in my life I paid for the luggage. 40 Euros!!! what for? Apparently Air Baltic has no clue about how to run a service business. Somebody has to teach them this naked reality: IN SERVICE BUSINESS YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE YOUR MAJOR MARKETING ASSETS! They don't even serve a glass of water, apparently they could not manage to integrate it in the ticket price. But they dare to get thirsty and unhappy customers on the plane. Anyways: This airline company is charging extra for luggage. And I could not see this anywhere when I was buying ticket online. If I knew I'd never buy the ticket from Airbaltic. "Not writing it clearly and visible at the time of ticket purchase" is certainly tricking and misleading us. This is a crime!"
Miinukset: "In Stockholm they denied my boarding to Riga and Moscow as they told me that I need Shengen visa. When I was buying ticket I wasn't informed that I need to have Visa. I always travel through Europe with layovers and never have this issue before. I had to buy another ticket straight to Moscow and wait in the airport for 8 hours. I ask to reimburse me half of the price of this ticket."

Miinukset: "Expensive tickets but no complimentary beverages and snacks for a 2 hour flight, overpriced snacks in the flight cafe. 3H delay!!!! with no understandable explanation in English and no explanation in Latvian from the captain - airBaltic is a Latvian airline! Other airlines use two languages - national and English"
Plussat: "Quick bag drop and security line at Riga airport. Quick boarding with all the larger suitcases forcibly checked in at no charge. On time departure. Seats are comfortable enough for a short flight."
Miinukset: "(This is more of a comment on Kayak's review page than on the flight.) Haven't tried the food and there was no entertainment."
Plussat: "They did provide a 6 euro food voucher once it was clear the flight was going to be over 2 hours late. The flight and land crew did their best to keep everyone calm under bad circumstances."
Miinukset: "Flight was just under 3 hours late (long enough to kill most of the day, but just under what is needed to pay compensation). First they said it was problems in Amsterdam, then problems with the plane, then traffic in Amsterdam. It was hard to tell what was true and what was avoiding penalties (it is possible that equipment issues caused them to lose their spot, and get caught in traffic delays). I hate that they charge 2.5 euros for water on the flight. Their carryon rules only allow us to take the smallest of bags (smaller than other airlines) but when I got on the plane, lots of people had medium sized carryons."
Plussat: "It's very inexpensive, especially if you fly with only with a carry-on luggage. On-board service has always been excellent."
Miinukset: "The check-in process is horrible, regardless of the airport you are flying from. It's just the trademark of Air Baltic. I learned my lesson and pay extra to use the priority check in line, as well as boarding. Otherwise you end up staying in a VERY long line. This time I was bumped from the seat that I picked when booking my flight, which was still assigned to me when I checked in online. No explanation or heads-up, I was just handed a paper boarding pass when I checked my bag, and only after I was past security line I realized that I was bumped from row 4 to row 10. I was able to get a seat in row 4 again at the gate, but not the same seat. Also, there was no priority boarding, even though I paid for it. Given this experience I will only fly this airline if I can get away with a carry on, thus avoiding the check in desk altogether."
Plussat: "Flight was on time which was surprising given a late snow storm in Tallinn."
Miinukset: "The flight was fully booked, and the system re-assigned seats for a number of passengers. This created confusion as passengers arrived to their assigned seats to find other passengers in the seats. There also appeared to be a miscommunication between the crew as some crew members said to passengers whose seats were taken they should sit anywhere, whereas other crew members tried to get everyone back in their assigned seats. This was frustrating. Also the overhead bin lockers are very difficult to open"
Plussat: "Quick boarding once the plane finally arrived. Planes are new."
Miinukset: "Flight was delayed approximately 45 minutes as a result of late arrival of aircraft - surprising since it was a morning flight.. I am 6ft2, leg room is VERY tight. I slept most of the flight so cannot speak to food or entertainment. Watch out for the fees! 5 euro per leg for a seat assignment 60 euro to check bags."
Plussat: "Moved up to First class section."

Plussat: "Things moved along fairly well, especially once I was in Riga. The hour layover stressed me out because I wasn't sure if I'd make it to my connection in time, but the airport was not crowded so I managed to get through passport control fairly quickly and made my flight."
Miinukset: "Flight left a late, which was stressful with an hour layover in Riga where I had to go through passport control. Was very stressed, but made it with ten minutes to spare before my connection boarded because the airport happened to be not crowded."
Plussat: "Booked on kayak and wasn't clear at all about check in or tickets, I looked many times. No way of checking in or getting boarding passes had to pay an arm and a leg at the gate. Also had to pay to check my bag on a half full flight. Have never had to check same bag with Ryanair on over 10 flights now. Will never use this airline again."
Miinukset: "I tried to check in on my phone and the app did not allow me. The only way was buying lunch in order to move on with the check in process. I decided to get to the counter and the person charged me US$ 35 euros only for checking me in (even though their app had problems to check in). They charged me in total US$ 100 for checking in and checking my luggage. The service was terrible, especially from the person at the counter. In addition to all that, my luggage did not arrive to the final destination and was lost for an entire week. Every time I called the airline, they were charging me per minute even though they were the ones who lost my suitcase."
Miinukset: "After barely making too tight a connection, all food and beverage needed Euros or European credit card. My Visa wouldn't work. Finally after I broke down (blood sugar way too high) the stewardess gave me a glass of water. Never will I use the money grubbing airline again"
Miinukset: "The flight from Zurich to Riga and especially the landing was terrible. I travel a lot and this was among the worst flights I have had. I felt as if the pilot was not in control of the plane."
Miinukset: "I didn't like have to spend 3 hrs. 45 minutes in Riga just to get to Tallinn."
Miinukset: "I didn't like the 3 hr. 45 minute wait in Riga. Why should all flights have to go through there?"
Plussat: "I did not fly"
Plussat: "The offert of 5 euro discount on Duty Free products when you buy some food over 6 euros."
Miinukset: "You must check in few hours before the flight. Checking in at the airport will cost you 35€. Besides that, the boarding took almost 40min and the seats are not comfy at all. That said, i would rather pay extra $50 and fly with normal company."

Plussat: "The crew was very professional and I cannot complain about that."
Miinukset: "Budapest airport has tricky terminal for the Wizzair planes. You have to go outside the main terminal to get to the Wizz terminals and then you have to go outside again to get to the plane. It was really weird but I understand that as it is a low budget flight provider. The thing that made me really upset was that we all (passengers) left the terminal to get to the plane and we had to wait outside till we could start entering the plane. I really don’t understand why someone made us to wait outside while it’s freezing cold when the doors are not open or plane is not ready. That was unreasonable and ruined my trip."

Miinukset: "The flight was delayed for 40 min"
Plussat: "The crew was very friendly and helpful."
Miinukset: "The boarding process took far too long. We were standing at the gate for what seemed like an hour. I'm not sure exactly why we were delayed in boarding the plane. There was no explanation."
Plussat: "I called flight network and was put on hold for about five minutes, simply to get an answer to the question of the baggage allowance - I didn’t see it anywhere when booking the wiz air ticket. They told me that I was slowed one checked baggage and one cabin baggage that would be charged about €40 if it was over 30 kilos (which it was not). At the airport wizz air said that I had chosen online booking (which I had not) and therefore I had to pay a €30 fee. Also they said I had no checked baggage allowance and was charged an additional €150 !!!!"
Miinukset: "That I wa given false information that cost me a huge amount of money, And that the booking page does not make it easy to add baggage information."

Miinukset: "Lost luggage. 3 days since and still no luggage.And they don't have a customer service phone number that I can call. Very dissapointed. I guess that's what you should expect from a low cost flight company. I will never book a flight with them again."

Miinukset: "The staff took ages boarding us because they were obsessed with trying to scalp people for exceeding baggage limits. Nothing free aboard, no entertainment, the seats were uncomfortable too."

Miinukset: "The seats are not comfortable at all"
Miinukset: "I didn't check in, in advance as when logging on to the airline I needed a code. I didn't have the code as I was searching emails for the booking agent and airline when it was (as I later discovered) sent by another name. This resulted in £30 to check in going out and 40 euros back. Desk staff were unhelpful bordering on rude (the cabin staff were fine in that respect. I wasn't the only one at least 20 people queuing on the return with the same issue. Additionally on the delay out they advised food could be brought at the rear of the plane then inflight ran out so some people ate twice while by the time I got to my hotel they had stopped serving food and I had not eaten in the airport sorting out the boarding passes."
Miinukset: "My husband was seated in row 2 and I was seated in row 29, even though there were many spare seats in blocks of two and three that we could have been sat in; then I was forced to put my carryon luggage in the hold, meaning I had to wait ages at the baggage reclaim on arrival, and was late for my air BnB check in. When I booked my flight I deliberately chose not to check any luggage, spent time planning what to take so that it would fit in a carryon bag, and measured out my liquids into small bottles so that they passed the liquids restrictions: all effort and time spent in vain due to Wizz Air. I was furious!"

Miinukset: "Extra prices. Should have took a better airline and pay more. Came out the same. Make sure you tell guest to check in online or they will. Hangs you $50 to check in at the airport"

Miinukset: "Bought a ticket two weeks ago to travel to Romania. Didn't have internet to check in, so I went to the airport to check in. When I got there because I was within 3 hours of boarding they had given away my ticket and made me a last priority boarder. I happened to get really lucky otherwise I wouldn't have gotten to fly on a flight I had previously paid for and was on time to."
Plussat: "the flight to and from liverpool was for me flawless easy quick boarding punctual and good plane and journey ....others complain about the baggage charges but if you read the policy and take heed of the rules then you won’t go wrong"

Miinukset: "Turbulences.It is sad that wizzair charges very high cost large cabin bags (especially on holidays time is bags different price than other months.)but other companies as Easyjet and ryanair allows one big and one small bag for free on board"

Miinukset: "Despite long delay, there were no announcements by the staff about the delay until we were already almost 40 minutes past our original departure time. No water or food was distributed to the passengers despite the delay. Delay was not wizzair's fault but there was no customer service to speak off."

Miinukset: "Needed to pay 50 euros for luggage. Beware that unless you have a kids suitcase you will need to pay for luggage. Also, when boarding the hostess was pushing me to show my boarding pass- it took 30 seconds but she was already trying to push me to the side and let others board. Patience and understanding would have been nice. Seats are the smallest of all the regional carriers - not my first airline choice to travel for next time."

Wizz attracts clients by offering low prices. while in fact the price is much higher than with other companies. price paid for the suitcases, 235 eur, is an additional ticket. unbleivable. and no one tells us that the extra fees might be as high as the ticket itself. personnaly, in future, i shall avoid flying with wizz and i shall never recommend this company to anybody!"

Plussat: "They charged me for not checking in 3 hrs prior and didn't really make that clear before when I purchased the ticket. Even if they did, I never seen a airline do that. It's a borderline scam. Then the flight attendant continued to swipe my card when it was declining since I had restrictions on it. In which in return had my card shut off. Never will I fly Wizz Air again."
Plussat: "I put on my VR goggles and noise cancelling headphones as soon as I was allowed to and I watched 3D movies during the whole flight."
Miinukset: "There were too many announcements about food / things Wizzair tried to sell me, it would be best if they'd leave us alone until the end of the trip."
