Almost the only airline that offers free coffee and bread even in short 1 hour flights
Problems with the in-flight wi-fi (none) and the flight info (none). However, movies worked fine and the selection is exceptional.

The flight from Rome to Ams was delayed. The flight from AMS to Moscow was missed. - We spent 2h in a linewaiting for the service desk to rebook the tickets - Then, we spend more than an hour to get the hotel - Then waiting for the shuttle another 30 minutes Unexpectedly poor and slow service. The next working day is ruined with the flight in the middle

The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

Overall, horrible customer service. Never been treated so rudely by people in the airlines industry in my entire 42 years of flying!"

Miinukset: "Initially the flight from Lima was delayed for almost 1:30 and then we lost this connection then Airfrance rebooking to SAS they tell us to take all our luggage’s and check in again it’s was awful and really bad from then walk and spend time we suppose to be quite at home ... the worst was in SAS have ano system and for 1.5 kilos extras you might pay 33€ so after long day and wait, running everywhere with all my staff I see to eat a 11€ menu at the airport with not more explanation from Airfrance .. really bad and worst services.."

Communication needs to be improved. YUL was training a new x-ray operator. It took 45 minutes for 8 people to go through the security line. The airport was understaffed. Notifications that the Air Canada flight was delayed was not communicated to passengers waiting at the gate until after take-off time lapsed -twice. There are not enough Air Canada gate agents to staff counters. Boarding was slow as passengers who had complicated “issues” with documentation were dealt with one at a time instead of being “triaged”, holding up the single line of boarding passengers. The flight itself was fine. No one employee is at fault. There are systematic issues with Air Canada management that impact the customer experience. These problems represent management and leadership failures.
No pillows or blankets plus had to pay for food
On this particular flight, the staff were quite unmotivated, the seat legroom was adequate, other than that the flight was uneventful.

Miinukset: "My wife was denied boarding the flight because of some confusion with her documentation. This "kid" that was an Air Canada representative took it upon himself to deny her boarding because of what he claims as documentation not good enough to travel through Canada into the United States. My wife, who's green card is pending has travel authorization by USCIS that expires in Oct. 2018 that permits her to travel back and fourth from Peru to the US. She also has a special stamp from USCIS in her Peruvian passport. We tried our best to make this guy understand. He clearly did not understand the rules regarding her situation. He didn't even bother to get a manager. Furthermore, we were treated terribly by the Air Canada staff at the Lima Airport. They could see I was visibly furious. I had to leave my wife there at the airport not knowing for sure if she was ever going to get out of Peru. When I went to check in my bags, they tried to charge me $250 because both my bags were overweight. One of the gate agents tried to coax me into a fight just so they could call security. The whole thing left me shaken. Not only that, I had to make another reservation for my wife on United Airlines which costs me $1700. She had no problem boarding that flight with her documentation. I find that interesting don't you?"

Plussat: "One of the flight attendants (potentially a French Canadian or maybe just plain French) was amongst the most beautiful women I have ever seen in my life. She was a little mean, but I'm willing to let it slide. In fact, I'm willing to let a lot of the negative things about the flight slide because of her (sorry, got to give credit where credit is due)."
Miinukset: "Got diarrhea from the waffles. The seats did not recline. No entertainment, but hey, this flight was damn cheap so I'm not complaining! Also, see positives."
Miinukset: "I never made it to EWR. Due to an inch of snow in Toronto, my flight was cancelled. I didn't find out until I landed in Toronto. There was no rebooking automatically like on other airlines. Once I did rebook, agent gave me wrong information and made me wait over an hour. I did get home, taking uber from a different airport. But should have been easier."

I asked the flight attendants if they could help me get to the front of the plane to see if I could catch my connecting flight and they wouldn't help me. Due to this I had to wait over 4 and a half hours at the airport wheee another 350 people were waiting for accommodations. I was in the airport until 4:30 in the morning because there weren't enough air cansas representatives. In addition, they were working really slowly because they kept getting up to chat with eachother."

The flight was so smooth, take off, during flight and landing. Koodoo sto our captin! Also, I noticed the sir quality was great. I'm didn't feel dry or irritated by the sir as can sometimes happen. The crew were pleasant and I liked my seat. Hope the flight back is as enjoyable."

Miinukset: "For a 5+ hour flight only beverages were offered - anything else (such as a snack or small meal) had to be purchased. Very cheap service IMO. The selection of entertainment (movies/tv shows) was exceptionally limited and out of date. Their way of boarding the plane (via zone) is very backwards as families with children weren't asked to board until half way through the plane loading (unless those families had already paid for the more expensive zone upgrades). Most airlines let them load first to give them extra time. My checked bag was 1.2kg over the limit so I had to open the bag and switch 1.2kg of clothing into my carry on in front of the rest of those checking in. What an embarrassment and such foolery. All in all Westjet does a better job for trips across Canada. Will not be trying Air Canada again."
