Great food, and amazing crew, they are very accommodating

Our Turkish airlines flight to Istanbul from Athens was delayed which caused us to miss our connecting flight home by 15 minutes. Rather than holding the plane the airlines required us to rebook. There rebooking process was a mess as well as the airlines was disorganized.

My bags and my kids bag didn’t arrive until the next day, because of that We had to stay in erbil over night rent a hotel until we got our bags next day. They need to do better job on handling bags

seating arrangements in business class could be improved. food was the best with best service

The flight was 5 hours late, made us miss our connector to Dallas. No more flights to Dallas until Friday. We were only offered the late flight to Istanbul, hotel overnight in Istanbul. A flight to Houston and we’re are stranded from there. Later, I found a flight to Newark, take a Connector Bus (my costs) to JFK, overnight layover 8 hours, and a flight to Dallas from there. I was refused to change to that flight unless I paid $300, my connector, and any hotel costs if I chose one. Having spent the night before in JFK, I absolutely would need the hotel, it is not safe.

The flight didn’t even happen.

Both my flights were over an hour delayed but Turkish Airline refused to update the status of the flight. They both came up as “on time”. My driver at my destination therefore waited an additional hour for me and I was charged 90 additional euros. The flight said it was on time online and at the gate it also read “on time.”"
Plussat: "Fantastic onboard entertainment. Lots of current movies and tv shows to watch. Music was available, too. Even a camera under the plane to see what you’re flying over...usually clouds. USB charging, big screens in the headrests, games, remote control with keyboard and game controller, network cable for laptops without Wi-Fi even. The had pillows and blankets on every seat when we arrived and handed out hot towels before the first meal. They also provided a kit with eye mask, toothbrush, cologne, and slippers. Far better than we expected."
Miinukset: "We were subjected to at least five security checks after our transfer in Istanbul. At the gate they checked our passports and boarding passes five times before boarding, every carry on bag was searched and every person was patted down. We even watched while one man held up his baby for a guard to pat the baby down! This was all after the security we’d received to get to our gate. So, if you left the gate to use the bathroom, you had to go through all the checks again."

Instead of beginning boarding at the time printed on my ticket, like every other airline, boarding was completed and closed fifteen minutes before my ticket said they would start, so even though I was eight minutes early I was actually seven minutes too late. Turkish Airlines service desk took the evidence (my ticket) and then refused to rebook me, forcing me to pay $600 for a new flight and for a visa to Turkey just so I could exit through security to book & pay for it. They will not be getting any more of my business in the future!"

Crew is amazing, food is good, when you need something they’re always there for you, we needed a baby bed and they gave us one and moved us to the front so the baby can lay down on her bed

My original flight was cancelled and no explanation was provided. The flight wasn’t automatically rebooked so I spend roughly 4 hours with different service desk workers. They failed to actually “ticket” my booking so I had to then go to the service desk at the airport so that I could checkin. Austrian also needs to update their entertainment. They only add a new release of importance seemingly every quarter.

Late! I missed my conection fly !!!! Horrible !!! Im not recomended !

Rude customer service, then lost my bags and my moms bags. She is ill and I'm stuck with out her meds or anything

After 2 hours of standing, there were still 27 people ahead of me. The woman behind me gave me the local phone number for Austrian airlines and I was able to get on a flight to US leaving in 30 minutes. I managed to make it, and would not have had I waited another hour in line. Why no surge of staff to help? All 3 help numbers on my Lufthansa e-mail receipt could not help. Horrible experience."

When my wife landed n told me I was extremely happy that they saw her with a baby and gave my wife n son that option to sit in first class then be tied up in economy and no so comfortable. Nasty attitude from boarding customer service lady at counter.

Great service and better food than United

Because we didn't have the AirCanada app downloaded in time, they closed the boarding door. After a big scene, they opened the door to let us in. Then we had a long delay on the tarmac which caused us to miss our connecting flight in Toranto. The next flight was a day later and is a 5 hour flight because of the connections which should have only been only a 1 hour flight. Never using Kayak, Lufthansa or Air Canada again.

One flight attendant was amazing, 1st class although she wasn't even in business class. Somehow felt others were tired or mind somewhere else, so not really good service. Choice of food was basic, but good choice of drinks. Plane was comfortable and I think pilot was a woman, which is a nice change. Excellent that there are dividers in the middle seat in business class. Corona restriction rules, like mask wearing rules is extremely wise. Other airlines removed it, but I like better your choice better. Feels safer.

The crew is amazing. Very kind an organize people.

Miinukset: "Took first available train , arr. Freising at 9:50. Arrived at Terminal 2 by bus ca. 10:25. I am handicapped and a slow walker, so I got to departure floor ca. `10:40. Waited in line at self-serve check-in; found out that it does not have ability to process numbers (for US address). Attendant was not helpful and nasty. She told me me to go to the regular check-in line, where I waited another 45 minutes. None of the 3 "help" personnel standing around when approached managed to tell me that there was a special counter for handicapped persons. The one at the express self-check-in refused to give me her lasst name or any form of ID (first name Sophia). After waiting an additional 15 minutes for a wheelchair, I was deposited in a waiting area, where a second wheelchair arrived after another long wait. Told me I might not make the plan (I did). Overall a very unpleasant and nasty experience. With the exception of the very nice lady (Mrs. Ilser?? ) who checked in my luggage, none of the other 3 persons at the express and regular check-in spoke decent German or English, and none was helpful (Go there, wait!!!) Barely made the plane in MUC, Heathrow turned out much better than the touted German efficiency. Please forward to Lufthansa customer relations. Dr. W. Hartwig"
Plussat: "I flew economy class both ways across the Atlantic in Feb and March, 2017. I took 6 Lufthansa flights. The crew is so professional and attentive. They don't skimp on drinks! The seats seem bigger...or maybe it is more leg room than some other airlines. I did not upgrade and was very comfortable."

We took our own food. We slept for most of the flight. We arrived on time. If Norwegian can continue to keep the price low, I'll happily choose to fly with them again."

I also found out at the Madrid airport that there was no desk to check in for Norwegian for connecting flights. This means that I had to leave, go to departures, check in, go through security, and then proceed to the gate. I fortunately had a long layover, but this process would have been impossible if I didn't have at least two hours."

They actually weren't, so I had to ask another passenger if she would switch seats with me. This was especially annoying since I supposedly paid an extra $30 to get seats together. Boarding process was the only other negative. The line was not organized or supervised in any way. Group A was called and then very shortly after, while people in A were still lining up, group B was also called. People from group B just piled in toward the front of the line and many group B passengers boarded before group A. In the end, boarding groups didn't matter at all because you all just crammed into a bus together and the last people on the bus were the first to get off and board the plane anyway."

There are a lot of people who have connection flight and it's hard to rebook especially at night.Punctuality should be the most important over everything else. Ildiko Balog"

The rest of the party I was traveling with was on a different flight that left a bit sooner so I arrived with them at the airport only to be kept waiting as they were able to go through security upon arrival. Norwegian doesn't have a designated window or kiosk so I wasn't able to get any help on the matter."

Miinukset: "Boarding is not LIAT's fault. The physical situation at Barbados' Grantley Adams International airport is completely inadequate as it relates to the convenience of access for intransit passengers. Passengers are in a queue in the open (hardly any area to empty pockets, etc) to go through security before entering the in-transit area to make the connection. It is EXTREMELY inconvenient, but may be due to lack of planning of resources for passenger flows. Doing an intransit connection on LIAT is not convenient, is somewhat of a challenge."

Miinukset: "Our first flight got delayed and then we missed our connection and every body we asked said we were ok. They even said the connecting flight would wait for us which wasn't true! In the end we were easily accommodated into the next flight and the flight was good."

Miinukset: "Liat's customer service is horrible, so be prepared for rudeness and don't expect any assistance or solutions. Their process is a simple one. They take your money and in exchange will get fly you to an island. It most likely will not be on time, so be sure to schedule a long layover if you plan on making a connection. Please note: If your carry on is a little over in weight. This your problem, not theirs. If you have concerns around connections. This your problem, not theirs. If you have to check baggage and there are any concerns. This your problem, not theirs. If you want to confirm your flight details. This your problem, not theirs. If you are having a good day or bad day, do not expect sympathy or any sense of human emotion from their team. Follow these steps and you will be fine."
Plussat: "Do not fly Liat. A month before our flight, they called and said they decided not to fly that day anymore. In that time, all the other flights had gone up significantly in price, they only offered a refund or to move our flight to another day. We had to fly that day and Liat cost us several hundred extra dollars. Do not fly Liat. You never know if they will just cancel your flight."

Miinukset: "Someone was in my seat. I informed the flight attendant so that she could sort it out and direct me. Her reply was, well, it's a crowded flight- they may have been assigned that seat too. What!? Where do you you want me to sit, ma'am?"
Plussat: "Because the morning flight was late I reached home earlier than scheduled hahaha. I winder what time NY original scheduled flight left. Thanks always."
Miinukset: "Booked round trip flight and didn't get to fly on either leg. Both flights were cancelled last minute. No notifications and it wasn't even updated on the website. Terrible communication from the attendants. Apparently this is standard. I will never book with this airline again."
Miinukset: "Barbados departure zone bunch of bullies.why so many tourists, if immigration staff too inquisitive, luggage handlers broke my luggage clasps, flight security too nosy, flight attendant talked nonstop, hard to sleep? Hub flights helpful, because list doesn't accept debit visa. Thankyou"

Miinukset: "Poor performance. Poor communication. Lousy attitude of personnel. Inadequate staffing. Undependable air carrier. Cancelled flight without notice or warning. Inconvenienced me and my business-related travel. Very undependable. Will NEVER use this carrier again."

Miinukset: "To start off, the flight was late. Take off time came around and there was no sign or explanation of what was going on. Then when we were finally directed to get on the plane, I was attended by the rudest person I have seen at a help counter. She turned her face and walked away in the middle of one of my sentences to go check why there was a dog at the end of the line! She also told me to move out of the way, but didn't instruct us where to go after she scanned our boarding passes and the door to the plane was closed. I had an 8 hour layover in SXM and I know my bags made it there from JFK, but on landing to SKB my bags were no where to be found. LIAT apparently can't track where they put bags, so I'm currently going on day two of my arrival to St. Kitts without my suitcases."
Miinukset: "The flight got delayed, baggage was lost, customer service at St. Kitts airport was awful. They had an attitude and tone for every time I called to check if they had found my bag or asked how could I track it. I also waited over an hour and a half on the Liat counter line at Puerto Rico. Experience was awful and if they had more competitors to fly to St. Kitts I will never use their services anymore."

The flight information was not included on the display at the airport. When boarding began, there was no announcement - everyone just saw the plane and started boarding."

Miinukset: "Beware! This airline does not exchange plane tickets or refunds! Even when the cause of not using the tickets was of sickness. I was not able to use my tickets so I had to forfeit the amount paid. Completely disappointed. Not buying from them again."
