Miinukset: "Plane was diverted back to Toronto from LaGuardia airport as we were told due to "weather", landed late at night and were told that due to not being able to control weather WestJet could not assist with accommodations, leaving everyone stranded and scrambling to find a room in alreday booked up hotels. When speaking on phone with agent, I was told it wasn't due to weather but incident at LaGuardia where plane went off runway. I paid $130.00 for 5 hours in a hotel, due to pilot error, not weather. La Guardia opened it's other runway immediately after and other airports in NewYork were running fine. Completely unacceptable and extremely bad customer service as CSR simply told us "sorry we can't help". Will never book with West Jet again."

Miinukset: "I fly a lot and I understand turbulence. This was a very bumpy flight - the worst I have experienced. A reassuring word from the cockpit would have helped the more nervous among the passengers, particularly as the pilot ascended and descended and the FA was catapulted down the aisle. But not a word. Apart from that, it was a short flight, pretzels only and that's OK. No entertainment other than what you bring. The complete lack of knee room in Y was a discomfort."

Miinukset: "We had to go back to philadelphia after flying for 2.5hoyrs, landing at Bangor, waiting for the maintenance team to figure out the problem. We then had to wait for another flight for 4h before being able to go to paris.."

Plussat: "As a member of our party has a nervous disposition flying, the stewardesses were extremely understanding and helpful throughout the entire flight."

Miinukset: "It was quite crowded but still fine. I would have appreciated a snack and a drink but this is not a reason to be disappointed."

Plussat: "Bigger plane than I was expecting. Had I known that I would have upgraded to a better seat. I was just expecting a tiny puddle jumper so this was a nice surprise. Crew were nice, offered food/drinks but I didn't want to buy any."
Miinukset: "The plane had inseat screens but they said that licensing agreements prevented them from offering any video, games or news selections on a 2.5hr flight. The Pilot said he would turn on the in-flight navigator but it never did work, so I'm not sure what happened there. No internet connection in their fleet yet either. Clearly, this is a first world problem and I would still fly BA. But it's also 2017 and these features aren't "new"; I remember having in-flight entertainment back in the early 2000's on Delta flights in the US, so I'm not sure why it's taking more premium airlines so long to catch up."

Miinukset: "My wife didn't able to travel. She is on h4 visa and when we tried to checkin at airport staff said she can't travel because she doesn't have valod visa in her passport for us. I tried to explain to staff that her h4 visa is her us visa but didn't accept. I have no problem with uk policy but atleast britiah airways should let is know when we booked ticket that you need visa on your passport. I will never ever travel through british airways."

Plussat: "Not much - the entertainment choices were good and the flight was safe and smooth. Plus my bag turned up from Helsinki, Heathrow, Singapore, sydney"
Miinukset: "The biz class seats on BA are just horrible. The biz class service - BA aren’t even trying to match other airlines. A stingy snenities kit and a blanket doesn’t come close to qantas or emerites. The food is an embarrassment - microwave dinners over heated is a a generous description. Crew do as little as possible (they don’t want to be they’ve either)"

Miinukset: "We booked online with a major travel booking site and got Much chaper seats than aa offered. However, they wouldnt assign us a seat until at the airport; what a hassle."

Plussat: "Nice crew. Flight was on time."
Miinukset: "No food unless you Pay for it."

Miinukset: "The woman who worked the British Airways desk in Helsinki and checked our bags is not suited for a customer service position. The screens on the British Airways long haul planes are tiny and difficult to operate. A 2,5 h flight where you can't even get water complimentary is appalling. Honestly all of your competitors offer a snack and beverages complimentary even if the flight is only 45 min. The boarding for London to Dallas flight was very confusing and could have been made easier with grouping the boarding instead of tons of people piling up to rush in at once."

Miinukset: "A few peoples televisions, including my own, just stopped working midway through the flight. The crew didn't offer us much to drink (like they didn't walk around offering water enough). Also paid extra for seating which we did not get the seats I paid for pretty sure."

Plussat: "We had to wait on an extremely hot bus for the plane to be ready. There was no need for us to be on the bus."

Miinukset: "1. Allowed us to book connection but time is limited. You need 5 hours layover to get to gates in London, every gates seem to be requiring to ride a bus. 2. We missed our connection and booked us to the next flight, waited 5 hours. 3. We were assigned to row 54, headache the whole trip, almost throw up at the end. 4. my daughter almost didn't eat because apparently only have chicken curry. My daughter is vegetarian."

Miinukset: "The lady at check in was the most rude customer service I have ever had. There was confusion with flights and I was trying to check in well before time and she said no it's too late and walked off. I then saw her later at 8:50 (my flight was at 9:25) I said excuse me that was my flight and she goes I'm busy trying to fuel and stormed off. The ladies at the airport tried to help me. So now I have to wait over night at the aiport for 17 hours because the check out lady wouldn't give me 1 minute to speak to her well before check in would've been closed because she was too busy in a hurry and extremely rude!"

Plussat: "Arrived ahead of time, although flight was fully booked, boarding was quick."
Miinukset: "Nothing, flights to Frankfurt have always gone off on time for me."

Miinukset: "I recommend that you not affiliate with Webjet. I will never make a reservation through them. Everyone at Webjet is from India with strong accent. Always put on hold to ask supervisor to make any change. Took 4 phone calls , many emails and hours on the phone to finally cancel a flight."

Plussat: "Inflight crew was good and polite."
Miinukset: "Made me go in economy class que to enter the aircraft inspite of I having paid the 3 times more expensive business class ticket. Business class seats were too small and uncomfortable compared to the other airlines. Loos and facilities were not in accordance compared to the other airlines."

Plussat: "The seat I had was good"
Miinukset: "No food, no drinks. They asked me to pay even for water. After a very long trans Atlantic flight, this being a connecting flight after a long a tired 11 hours layover in London. It is an embarrassing how the airline cares (or doesn't care) who travels with them, where the people are coming from so they can understand their needs. I don't think it would had make a difference to the airline if they would acknowledge connecting passengers and eventually try to make their experience a little easier. But asking for a glass of water and not getting any is an embarrassing experience for this airline. I will never fly with British if I can."

Miinukset: "The only thing not that good is that The comfort of The seats and The legroom was not The bestia, at leas not for a long flight like this pone."

Plussat: "My mother is disabled and the crew were ALL so helpful and kind. Amazing!"

Plussat: "No access to any lounge services. Food selection and quality significantly behind competitors. Does not just the price charged."

Plussat: "Flight crew did a nice job and seemed to enjoy what they do."
Miinukset: "When you book your ticket you should be able to choose your seat without having to pony up $35 to do it, I don't understand why you have to wait until you check -in 24 hours before your flight to get a "free" seat. Food was just okay. Seats not that comfortable."

Miinukset: "Food was not great. Snack was a candy bar? No other options in back of the plane. Entertainment cut out and the system was difficult to operate and movie variety was not wonderful."

Miinukset: "Took 1 1/2 hour to check in at counter. Agent spoke minimal english and directed Czech in one line and all others in another line. even when that line was only 2 or 3 persons and someone walked up only waited 5 minutes our line hardly moved. The agent did not care or understood that a lot of people may miss the flight. We arrived 2.5 hours early and barely made the flight."

Plussat: "didnt remember a single thing from this flight because I was passed out from exhaustion after not being able to sleep at all on the previous flight.... this flight was run by iberia, and the seats were delightfully simple compared to the atrocity in the BA world traveller section"

Miinukset: "They cancelled our flight and the only reason we flew with them is so that we could fly on an L380. After they booked us on American Airlines, they rescheduled the flight that we really paid for. THEN, when we tried to check in at the airport we found out that BA did not actually book us on American even though they gave us seat assignments. We almost missed our flight home because of their horrible service. Will NEVER fly BA again."

Plussat: "Never travelled in wtp before (normally club) and was very pleasantly suprised"
Miinukset: "The crew had some friends on board and spent a lot of time speaking with them. It shouldn't have been so obvious to other passengers..."

Plussat: "Attentive crew, they asked person in front of me to bring their seat upright so I could eat my meal properly -- that was a first for me! When chicken option ran out, they offered me the business class beef option."
Miinukset: "Absolutely no room at all -- we were packed in like sardines in the coach section. Window cover was broken so could not raise it to look out (across my fellow passenger)."

Plussat: "Crew was friendly and helpful. Flight smooth."
Miinukset: "Selecting seats was impossible because it was a British Airways flight operated by American Airlines - when I selected change seats on BA site it would send me to AA.com and when I tried selecting seats there it sent me to BA.com and on it went circles. I was finally able to select seats at the airport. Flight would have also been better if on demand entertainment was available at each seat in coach like newer planes."

Miinukset: "My bag did not make it. There were at least 6 other people with the same issue. One guy said that 2 out of the last three times his bag has not made it. It made us miss our next leg to Scotland."

Plussat: "Major issue: unable to check bag more than 2 hrs before flight and no warning that transfer at Heathrow required going from Terminal 5 to Terminal 3-- requireing a lot of walking, stress, time and security checks."

Miinukset: "My husbands TV screen did not work we asked 2 different people multiple times and no one offered any help or assistance. They said that they tried restarting it. One person said they could send him a movie but never did. They also crammed us in the boarding area and we waited forever."

Miinukset: "BA has changed their seating configuration from other international carriers. We were expecting to have an aisle seat in economy with 2 5 2 seating across rows. Instead they had 3 4 3 to add and addition seat in each row. So I had a middle seat on a 10 hr flight with a very large woman in the aisle seat I thought I would have. She overflowed into my seat and used both the arm rests by jabbing me in the side"

Miinukset: "Extended wait times in taxi departing and landing - took over an hour longer than expected. LaGuardia airport forced passengers to take their car services by walking outside and waiting in a parking garage with (12 degree Fahrenheit feels like -4 and 20 mph winds). Felt frostbite, couldn’t move fingers, and have a sinus headache. absolutely appalling this is NY and USA - yet we can’t have car services pick up pasengers outside the door of the airport, instead require to walk 7 minutes and stand in a freezing air tunnel airport garage. Changes my mind on flying to LAGUARDIA in the future"

What was worse was that after landing at LGA, baggage tagged as Priority did not come out first, it came out much later - after numerous non-priority baggage came out. This is not the first time this has happened at LGA. What's the point of tagging it as Priority if it won't be handled that way?"

Miinukset: "The service was worse than poor. The planes seay table had hair and dandruff all over it. The air hostesses handed me the food two isles away and I had to hand it to my whole row. I would never pay this price for business class for this airline or ever trust Kayak to give good options."

Miinukset: "Food was mediocre and cold except for the major hot dish. Lights were on almost all night in cabiaudio and video were subpar or nonexistent. Staff explained it was an old plan Seats were okay for short fight but not comfortable for long flight"

Miinukset: "The person making announcements mumbled and spoke too softly for someone who's announcing things on a flight. We couldn't understand half of everything being said. Miinukset: "I have traveled to and from Portugal in TAP for many years and never ever did I have to pay for a checked bag till this year. It is totally a robbery to be charging people for 1 checked bag of only 50lbs. not only is it ridiculous but robbery. You charge a lot of money for the flights as it is and to go and charge people to check a bag on an international flight is insane. It is to bad I have to fly back with you because I will not be flying with you ever again after this I will take my money elsewhere. Also you need to let people know that they are being charged for luggage when the are booking their flight because when I booked my flight nowhere did it say I had to pay for my luggage. It already was rediculous that we are only aloud 1 50lb bag checked and now you want people to pay for it too? Pretty soon you minus well have people just get on a plane naked!!"

Miinukset: "I am a permanent resident of USA and have a Green Card and the portuguese boarding crew gave me a hard time about my paper work. I was very disappointed by the way they treated me."

Plussat: "No power @ seats. No Internet, no spirits just wine and beer. seats are not padded enough for 7 hour flight.. Old equip."

Was told on check-in that flight did not include checked luggage which is bizzare/unreal for an international flight especially since I also paid to upgrade my ticket. Even in explaining to me the person on the phone was rude. This was very disappointing as I had such an amazing trip to end on this sour note."

Captain had the seat belt sign off early and turned it back on late in descent which allowed people to visit the restrooms. Video entertainment was good."

Plussat: "Plane was delayed. Crew made no effort to keep us informed. Had to stand in the hot sun for almost an hour."

Miinukset: "First flight was delayed by just a half an hour and we arrived in Portugal. We had a connecting flight to AMS with also TAP and had a two hour window to make the next flight with the same company (TAP). We were in line for passport and then security and talked to several TAP employees and they said we would be have time and wouldn't have a problem catching the second flight. Well, we got through the lines with 30 min before our next flight and they wouldn't let us on. Customer service and organization of the airline is really poor. The aircraft had minimal room and no entertainment. We got on our next flight five hours later and all they gave us was a $10 food voucher. So poorly managed."

Plussat: "Once you get to the airline all is good"
Miinukset: "TAP changed the flight and only allowed 1 and one-half hours to transfer. You need to go through Portugal custums and the line is long."

Miinukset: "Boarding was a mess this time. The lady directing the boarding did not make clear where each group should stand. So The lady had to send most of us back which upset many. TAP should copy Southwest Airlines except self checkin kiosk are horrid no matter which airline uses it."

Plussat: "I gave up fighting with you and TAP to recover this error that was made a moment after I booked thinking it was to Brussels. I will think twice before ever giving Kayak or tap my business and blog you both to Facebook."
Miinukset: "The fact that it is impossible to speak to a human to correct this mistake"

Plussat: "Five stars for TAP, good attention of its staff, good food and attention during the flight."

Plussat: "The plane was clean. The blanket was unusually large, for a plane blanket, so u could be nice and warm. The food was good and varied. The staff was friendly and every time they spoke to you had a smile on their face, as if happy to see you:)"
Miinukset: "I cant think of anything. It's a long trip that can be tiresome. So you can tell the airline tries to make it as pleasant as possible ."

Plussat: "TAP counter staff helped get seat assignments for knee injury. New aircraft with good video system and comfortable seats in Economy Plus. Crew was helpful. Food OK. Arrived on time."
Miinukset: "Not TAP's fault, but long lines at customs and security at Lisbon Airport made us run to arrive at gate for next flight. Again, not TAP's fault, but additional security check at the waiting area, opening carry-on baggage and emptying my purse seemed over the top."

Plussat: "No frills short distance flight"

Plussat: "The on-board crew was pleasant and professional unlike the check-in staff. Food was ok, landing was smooth."
Miinukset: "The airline makes money by having very low weight allowances on carry-on and checked luggages. The staff at the check in desk act like they are surprised and symphatetic about the overages meanwhile they enforce the weight limits to the gram. Most deplorable of all is the fact that they have one person on staff at a special desk where one can go to pay for the newly discovered overages. This desk and the person assigned to it full time is the proof that the company expects this kind of result before hand. Where on most continental flights the weight limit is usually set at 31 kilograms for checked-in baggages TAP Portugal has a limit of 23kg. Where most companies have no weight limit or around 20kg on carry-on baggage they have 8kg. The overages in weight result in a flat fee of $100 per luggage, even if the luggage is just one kilogram over the allowed limit. The low ticket purchase price is in my opinion a deplorable marketing scheme aimed at getting people to buy their tickets and then be faced with extra charges when it turns out weight alloweances are set at domestic standards."

Miinukset: "Baggage fees not updated on website. Despite having done my due diligence about baggage fees, the airline didn't update their website since October for my November trip. So I get to airport and pay 74 euro each way for two bags! Old planes and poor customer service Also, nobody picks up their customer assistance telephone number"

Plussat: "The attention was great, cordial and polite, was right on time, the movies current and good, I enjoyed the food too.i will fly TAP again for sure."

Plussat: "The entertainment system was standard. The food was ok."
Miinukset: "At the check in, despite that I have a swiss passport, 5)3 hostess looked solely at my face and assumed I need avisa and asked me three times for my visa. On the flight, blankets are removed 20-30 minutes before landing during which I was freezing. Upon arrival, my new bag i hadnt used as yet was broken and TAP pays nothing and does no kind of exchange for broken bags. Basically- they dont care! During my return flight, despite being checked in adn being at the airport wel ahead of time, the airport clerks gyided me to the wrong desk and I had to wait longer than needed. The check in for baggages had closed by 1 min. They were allowing me to take the flight only if I threw out all my liquids or else were off loading me. They proposed no other solution and wanted to make me pay 450 dollara to put me on the flight the next day. I had an interview the following day and needed to return. I ended buying a new full fare ticket with British airways and got excellent service. I am yet to complain to TAP."

Miinukset: "I purchased this ticket 4 months prior to flying....traveled half way around the world and the flight was oversold. I was bumped and left with people meeting in another country waiting for no one to show up. Go to hell TAP Portugal Airlines."

Miinukset: "TAP rebooked on SATA flight to Boston. There was no inflight entertainment for a 7 hr flight! not even one small TV where you could watch. The food was chicken but it came with pork which i cannot eat. Upon arrival to Boston they lost my luggage and did not seemed concerned when i reported it. There were several outfits for family members for a religious holiday in a few days. They promised a call back regarding my luggage but they never called. The number i was given didnt work. I had to call several numbers before i was able to find someone to discuss my luggage with. The lady on the phone told me it was probably because I switched from TAP to SATA. However I didnt choose this change, TAP rebooked me. They could not assure me they would find or call me back. i ended up getting it back 6 days later. without an appology or any kind of compensation."

Miinukset: "we were 2 people flying, 1st person got a message from TAP that the flight schedule was changed to 1hr earlier, i was not informed about this until late night. Then once we got to the airport for the earlier flight, they said that the flight was delayed atleast one hour. Flight numbers were not changed so i guess they just combined 2 flights together to save or something, so we ended up missing hotel breakfest and ended up waiting in the airport for more than 2 hours because of bad communication."

Miinukset: "I was simply trying to relieve myself using the restroom in the back. I had held it in the entire time during take off but I desperately needed to go. The seatbelt sign stayed on for an eternity so I decided to get up to go when I felt it might be ok. Another gentleman also did so, he didn't get yelled at but I got an earful from the flight attendant and she assumed I didn't speak English because I couldn't respond while trying to hold my nladder."

Its just so inefficient and puts a complete damper on the trip......maybe curbside checkin also."
