Miinukset: "As our first flight got delayed, me and 28 other pallengers flying to israel told the airline agents that we would miss our connection flightfrom turkey to israel. The supervisor assured us that we have nothing to worry about, as the second plane would wait as we are many passengers.however when we landed in turkey the connection flight had already left without us. When trying to speak to turkish airline representatives about getting a new flight, they were super UNhelpful, we waited in very long lines and were required so go to a few different parts of the airport to get a new ticket, a process that was not friendly at all and very frustrating. After about 2 hours of waiting on lines, i got a flight that required me to wait 7 hours in the airport and measley voucher for a very small fast food meal. When i asked to be admitted to the lounge (as i waited 7 hours in the airport due to the airlines mistake), they did not agree to grant me access. When i asked to at least get the wifi code from the lounge so i can tell my familly that i am stuck on turkey, this was also rejected. While waiting in the airport, i spoke to many other people on other flights who had been stuck in the airport under very simillar circumstances, some even worse than mine. I also have many friends who have experiences simillar experiences with turkish airlines. If you are looking for a reliable flight, that will get you to your destination on time and will help you out when a problem occurs, Turkish airlines is deffinetelly NOT the flight for you. I personally will never fly with them again after the way i was treated."

Miinukset: "Departure was late by an hour which made me miss my connection. Because of this: I had to purchase a visa @$70 US Airport service in Istanbul was very bad. It took 2 hours before anyone would actually help me to organize my next flight to Milan. By the time I arrived in Milan, my family had left worried sick not knowing what happened to me. I then had to find a bus to take me to Lugano, another 25 Euros, and not to mention all the stress to me and my family. I then decided not to put myself through the same situation on my way back to Tel Aviv and purchased new ticket with another Airline company. Overall, the whole experience was a nightmare."

The entertainment on the plain was beyond the worst one I have ever experienced. 8 radio channel that some of them are the same and some of them have one channel on one side and a different channel on the other. I had to use my earphones (only one of the pair) from my side and another set of earphones from the empty seat next to me, just to barely hear the same music. Also the plugs were not good, so eventually I gave that up too. POOR FLIGHT!"

Arrival board at O'Hare said plane was on time, but listed gate as 0, which of course doesn't exist so our ride home had no idea what was going on or what was taking so long and ended up waiting over three hours for us to get through everything to meet them."

Plussat: "Finnair's Planes are high quality and standard. I am an Aircraft Mechanic, and frequently when boarding planes I try to look for bad repairs or bad maintenance. The Interior was clean, and the leg room in economy was absolutely excellent. The Staff was outstanding, and showed the utmost professionalism at all times."
Miinukset: "All my complaints are things neither Finnair nor the Crew could have helped. Turbulance was minor but constant. Some passengers rude enough to cut in front of the bathroom lines, and pretend not to comprehend English when they do. The Pork Dish and Breakfast dish were awful, however I recognize it isn't Finnish food, but a Korean variety. Two babies kept crying and screaming, for almost a solid 4 hours. I wasn't aware infants had the lung capacity or developed vocal chords to do such a feat. It also seemed like the parents were ignoring their babies not even trying to console them. Absolutely out of the hands of the staff, and I do not blame them for that. The only reason why the flight was so low, was simply because of things out of their hands. This is just a review of this specific flight, not the company itself."

Miinukset: "The flight was 1 1/2 hrs late!!!! This seems to be a regular pattern from what I understand from others who have travelled the same itinerary. Not good if this becomes your reputation. The crew was not very attentive during good service. It was more of a routine / rush job rather than making sure that everybody was served and got what they needed ( had to ask for my dinner as my row was skipped and was never offered coffee before landing). The crew seemed rather young and inexperienced. The food was below average!!!! Especially the chicken patty before landing - seriously!!!!! Why not include a little bit of Finnish / Scandinavian cuisine to emphasize the Finnair brand!!! Entertainment was also below average. There needs to be more variety - especially for the TV selection, which had only 2 options!!! No music and no games?? Also, it would be nice to have access to a flight map. Too few accessible WCs"

Miinukset: "Left the cabin lights on most of the trip and kept interrupting with announcements to sell duty free and other things when most people just wanted to sleep. Flight from Chicago to Helsinki was much better."
Plussat: "The Airbus 330 is an improvement over the Boeing 737 that took me to Europe (via Milan) on this trip. Unlike that flight, this plane is equipped with an updated on demand entertainment system. I attribute the upgraded airplane to the fact that this was a direct flight from HEL to JFK. Still no wifi though... Their magazine says it's coming. Upgrading to Economy Comfort is worth the fee especially if you get a bulkhead seat. Otherwise you are still pretty crammed in with maybe 6" more leg room. But the bulkhead seats are set well back from the wall to give my long legs plenty of room to stretch and get in and out of my seat. My friends in Economy looked miserable :( The chili con carne with rice was an improvement over other airline meals but still room for improvement - mostly in presentation I guess. Lingonberry 'salad' though a bit sour for me, was a nice Finnish dish to sample. Like the cheese and crackers. Departed and arrived on time. Liked the flight tracking that showed you very detailed what you were passing over and even gave us a bit of info and photos about highlights of each region flown over. Nice touch."
Miinukset: "This plane was such an improvement over the "bucket" that flew me to Europe that it has restored my faith in Finnair as a valid carrier for my yearly trip to Europe - like I said, probably because it is a direct flight to New York rather than connecting to another European (not Scandanavian) city like Milan. I would probably not use Finnair to access other parts of Europe for this reason. (On the departure end, the regional Finnair flight from Milan to Helsinki was also sub-standard.) I do think the check-in procedure is still cumbersome - self check in with bag check, though started at kiosks, still results in a long line just to hand off your bag to a counter agent. A few more agents would likely solve that problem... But it was better than going the other way - JFK was a nightmare! Helsinki only slightly better."

Boarding: flight delayed for more than 1 hour, with passengers sitting all this time in the plane and waiting for all connection flights to arrive. As a result we arrived late for our connection flight. The Finnair people that met the passengers on exit form the plain did not provide any information how we should proceed next. We were left to figure it out by ourselves. Crew: The impression was that all the flight attendants from HiFly were untrained. The did not know what to do an how to do. They seemed lost on the plane. Comfort: Plane seemed to be re-purchased from some Arab airline. Food: bad Entertainment: v system was broken. Information system was showing wrong current time."

Miinukset: "Coffee creamer sachets are insufficient in quantity for the coffee. Even with two sachets the coffee was still nearly black. The flight was full and the cost of checked in luggage ensured everyone used their carry on allowance. As a consequence, overhead bins were full. I left one bag at the front of the plane and had another at my feet. However, it was a short flight, so not too unbearable."

Miinukset: "airBaltic has a terrible luggage policy for musicians. They make you pay extra if you want to bring a musical instrument on board, even a violin which fits easily into the overhead bin. It is honestly discriminatory. Will not be flying with them again."

Miinukset: "The passage through Riga airport was terrifying. We arrived from St. Petersburg 6.35 and we left 7.20 to Paris (passengers in transit). We explained at the checkpoint that we had a few minutes, but they controlled us several times until we had to throw several liquid items. In St. Petersburg they had already controlled us, without problems. In short: a sad experience in Riga, which does not speak well of this country: Latvia."

Many of us had a connecting flight with Air Baltic from Riga to Helsinki- which we asked if they will wait for us, the crew member said because the flight was also with Air Baltic, they will wait for us. We got there 10 minutes before take off, and the gate has already closed. Furthermore, we got to the Air Baltic counter, we were given 5Euro meal vouchers even though we will be staying at the Riga airport for 9 hours. Also they gave us terrible customer service attitude, which we definitely do not deserve after being delayed, and causing so much trouble on their behalf. Definitely do not recommend flying with Air Baltic again. I've never been this angry with any air line."
Miinukset: "on the website i ordered and payed for a meal, and automatically it went to the last and the shortest leg of the flight. it did not ask which leg i was interested in. so i phoned their customer service to get this fixed, they said they cannot fix it and closed the phone on me. on the website is said that from israel you cannot do advance internet checkin, and when i arrived at the checkin they said that i should have done this advanced check in, and since i didn't i need to go to their ticket office and pay a penalty of 35$ per passenger. there also was no warning on the website of any such penalty. i will never fly with them again if i can help it."

The only solution that they can offer me was to travel from Riga to Moscow and than to Tel Aviv. It become 12 hours traveling across 4 countries ( we arrived form Stockholm) instead of 5 hours flight as it was supposed to! I'm not recommending to travel with that company it can not be trusted!"

Miinukset: "bag measure frames in Riga airport used for aB are smaller than in most airports, as a results we were asked to check some bags in at the last moment. we have had connecting flight through Riga with two hand bags. lets call them big and small. judge by yourself: flight, aircraft, small, big ->Riga CS3, on board, on board Riga-> DHC 8-400, on board, check in ->Riga DHC 8-400, on board, on board Riga-> CS3, check in, check in as you see, the same bags on the same aircraft were allowed or disallowed by the same company based on weather one flies to Riga or from it. i believe there is absolutely no purpose for doing last second interruptions of such kind"

This was frustrating. Also the overhead bin lockers are very difficult to open"

Thus had to kneel in order to use. This booked by UIA, but the carrier was Air Baltic, which led to some confusion as to which airline to go to for boarding."
Plussat: "Booked on kayak and wasn't clear at all about check in or tickets, I looked many times. No way of checking in or getting boarding passes had to pay an arm and a leg at the gate. Also had to pay to check my bag on a half full flight. Have never had to check same bag with Ryanair on over 10 flights now. Will never use this airline again."
Plussat: "The flights were on time, and the Riga airport was efficient."
Miinukset: "The planes seemed very old and rickety. One was an old propeller plane that looked like it had a large patch. The second plane was so old that It was very difficult to open the overhead storage compartments. Both planes rocked side to side during takeoff and landing. I couldn't figure out how to check baggage online through Kayak, and it cost €40 at the airport. It got me where I needs to go, but with the baggage fees, it turned out to be about the same price as other airlines, and I wouldn't recommend the planes for people with any flying anxiety."

What was AWFUL, AirBaltic then canceled my return flight from Tallinn to Budapest because I could not use this one leg of the trip. Totally an unfair policy, not unique to AB, but still an awful waste of money. I probably will not use a multi ticket ever again. AirBaltic's flights have been fine, just this "if you don't use one part-you lose the rest" policy is horrid!"

We arrived with 2 standard trolleys and before boarding the plane they forced us to send them. It did not help that I explained that in the suitcases there were things we needed for flying, valuables, and fragile objects. The crew member was rude and forced us to pull out our belongings: a laptop, a professional camera with a big lens, two books, two porcelain items we bought and we were afraid to send in the big suitcase, two bottles of drinks and two sandwiches. Passports and wallets. I begged the crewman to let me go with at least one suitcase, but he replied rudely that he did not care !!! There was a lot of room on the plane, in the cells. The crew agreed with me. They tried to help and brought me an orange garbage bag so I could put all my belongings in it ... really humiliating !!!"

Plussat: "I liked the feeling of being free from the horror of the mean stewardess in common airlines. They harass you and interrupt you at all times, while playing boarding school mean head-teacher. Here at ezj, i brought my own food and entertainment, and was free to rest for the duration of the flight without any of those harassments. and so, combined with the fantastic price, this was a nice and refreshing experience,"

This is not easyJet's fault, but the fault of the Israeli immigration service, but perhaps easyJet could make representation on behalf of passengers to the Israeli immigration people."

Miinukset: "They took the maximum fee for the baggage , and added some more fee since I paid with master card , without an explanation. They say that the fee for baggage depends on the rout of the flight or something like that , so from what I understand it means that the far the destination the more you pay. But my flight took only 4 hours which is not that much. So, practically they can take the maximum fee for any flight since they don't have a logical reason for that , it is practically random. I had to add 83 euros for ONE suitcase , that makes the tickets expensive and not cheap . If I knew that this would be the price I would definitely order other company. I would prefer to know ahead how much I need to add for baggage. But of course they won't tell you."

Miinukset: "Firstly, their baggage policy apparently changed all of a sudden. When I flew with them just 4 days earlier FROM Tel Aviv, I was allowed to board with both a carry on and a hand bag, as I usually do with other international carriers and flights. With the return flight, however, you needed to pay for a service called "speedy board" to allow it. So, at the gate, they've told everyone to squeeze all their belongings into a single carry-on item, regardless of the weight and volume. They wouldn't even allow me to carry my DSLR camera separately, even though international flight regulations regard photography equipment as a separate item you're allowed to board with. After this craziness, all passengers were cramped in a hall between the terminal gate and the boarding gate. We waited there for an hour, and it was hot, humid and dense, with no chairs. Only 5-10 minutes before the scheduled departure, they started boarding passengers on the plane, what caused a 50 minutes delay in the take-off. Bottom line: Poor boarding conditions and vague baggage policy."

I had to put my purse in my carry on and go through the flight without very necessary things for my comfort. Needless to say I could not buy anything (food, duty free) on the plain... Very annoying experience!!!"

In the plane the crew was unfriendly, talked very loudly about other passengers next to me. when I pointed out that this was unpleasant, I was answered impertinently. ("What?Got anyhting to say to us?" Unpleasant experience"

After that, we had to get back in a long line and the lady didn’t mentioned that she can check in our luggage’s. With that being said, we had to go back to other encounter to pay for checked in luggage. We paid almost $200 for checking in and luggage. How stupid is that? We and other customers in line all said we felt it’s the rip off. We come to Ireland for vacation and expected it would be welcome and nice. This turned us off. Never fly with this airlines again. Thumbs down!!!"

After we finished our check in and sent the luggage we went to the gate. There they realized that some of the printed bourding passes are not o k. The attendant in the counter did not checked it and sent us to the gate. We had to go back to the counter but the flight was closed already. We called the staff and after all we had to pay 100 euro to the counter to print the correct bourding passes and then to rush to the aircraft. If Ryan air put enough staff in the counters it wouldn’t happen. We almost miss the flight and it caused us a big inconvenous."

Miinukset: "Rome Line to checkin started at the entrance of the airport with no Ground staff attention or clear line marked people were fighting and cutting each other . Check in process approved our luggage for hand cary as we paid for it in advance. In the gate they suddenly decided the luggage was 1 cm larger then agreed, refused to bring a measurement tape and charged us 50 Euro in addition to send the luggae in the plane rather than hand carry. Need less to say that in the flight to Rome our luggage was approved for hand carry so clearly Rome staff were into making money.. Planes were late to take off and 1 hour late to land (that from a total of a 3 hour flight ) although not announced . In summary ground staff experience was awaful and made us decide to not fly with Ryanair air again"

For example, the customer must check in online. if not done properly the cost is about 100 euro more, AND the online check in procedure is not working that well, you need to press buttons several times in order for it to work (and I have a good phone), and if you give up in the middle it will cost you. More on that we did a mistake and did not purchase luggage for the way back, when we went to the desk to buy it (after standing more than 2 hours in the check in), we were told to pay 40 euros, where the price is 23 if paid online. we asked to talk to a manager and get the regular price for the suitcase, the cashier said "no problem i can call him, but then you will miss the flight..." and in the meantime there were still lots of people in the check in line... The service is very slow and not pleasant, and the crew always give you the feeling you are not ok. I understand the price is low and this is a lo cost flight, but this should not happen no matter what is the price."

Miinukset: "Ryanair acted like a dust Stucker of money. Not only on the way forward they forbidded only flights from Israel (!) to bring any hand luggage at all without purchasing the priority boarding, and people were allowed with a small hand bag only (since the priority tickets finished) , but on the way backwards, after the entire airplane bought the priority ticket, the crew of ryanair acted in such a discriminating way and banned people that exceeded the bag check with less than 2 cm! It seems like the crew were determined to collect at many 50euro fines as possible from the passenger because they insisted very impolitly and brutally to measure each luggage from all possible sides, and even the luggage that fitted, they found excuses to fail them. I've rarely experienced such humiliating vision, especially due to the fact that everyone were forced to purchase the extra priority boarding and you'd expect the company to try and keep the customers, not drive them away. I can just say that with all the fines and extra payments requested by them, the total price of the flight was 100euro more expensive than the price of El AL or alitalia, same timing and with a meal and big suitcase included. All this, without mentioning the bad attitude of the crew and the extreme uncomfortability of the chairs (also purchased, obviously). To summarize, this was a very bad choice, with I will not repeat again."

She scrutinized and had every single person on line put their bag to be measured. She even did that with small back packs!!! Unfortunately for HER nobody had to pay extra for luggage!!! It is really the attitude. i paid a lot of money for my flight as much as a regular fligh neary $400 and yet I was still NOT allowed to take luggage. Its ridiculous!!! Had I booked with a regular airline, I would have paid similar fees and have a bag to put on the plane . Its time that Ryan air stop taking advantage of people and allow some luggage just like everyone else does. It doesn't have to be 50 lb but it can be a few pounds!!!"

Miinukset: "The plane was defective and they waited hours to change planes. There was one that we eventually used right next to it. Delayed three hours. The original destination was changed entailing a bus trip of four hours in the middle of the night. There was no one who gave any information on how to find the bus upon arrival."

I did not manage to purchase the ticket through your website and your website did not come up with the reson for not allowing thr completin of the purchase. Eventually I payed a little more and bought the ticket in kayak , when I arrive to the airport ,ryaner representative inform me that I need to pay additional 40 EU for checking in, I was told that I had to do it on line, how come you allow to people complete a purchase without notify the need for on line check in????? I travel a lot all over the world and nver in my life bought a flight ticket and in the airport I was forced to complete"the purchase. I think ii is part of your astrategy to make more money , I is a STEEL !!! I can assure you that for every person that wil as k me for recommendations first I will mantion rayenair and warn them to not even dare to fly with. Pure greed and 0 tolerance, unprofessional and un patience crue. shame on you , hopefully will see you go bankrupt soon"
