Miinukset: "Our flight was delayed for two hours. We have a connecting flight from Osaka to Los Angeles, which we were worried we couldn't make it. They told me the flight will wait for us because there were 20 plus people also need to get on that plane. When the time of boarding we heard they were calling us to the front and explained the flight we were suppose to be connecting already took off. They had to booked us to another airline. We were extremely disappointed! We asked if we could took another Japanese airline but they said our luggages were already transferred to that airline and the tickets were printed! Mosf importantly we have already waited in airport 5 hours and they needed us to wait for another 3 hours! Very bad experience with how they dealing with this situation!"

Miinukset: "Checking in with Japan Airlines was a serious hassle. I had my e-ticket but they kept asking me if I had already paid. The flight was apparently overbooked but than at the last minute, they gave me and my girlfriend seats separated from each other. I sat in the back, she sat in front. The tickets also had trouble scanning and kayak isn't a known agency."
Plussat: "The stewardess of the flight from LA to Osaka was awesome , I don't remember her exactly name , I think she is older then other crew members working that day on economy class . She was very professional , serving customer with the best she can. Always smiles. I feel good whenever I see her walks by, smile and very professional When the meal was serve but they only had one dish to choose instead of two ( I guess that day Chicken Masala dish was high on demand so there are only Japanese dish left) she said we are so sorry with a very sincere gesture , I chose Japanese food because I like Japanese food anyway , she politely thanks me for my choice and later bring a bag of small mix snack for me and said thank you for being flexible . Later on, when we getting off the airplane she even helped me to stroll my carry on out to the airplane because I was carry too many stuffs with me and my daughter being so tired of the long flight so I have to comforted my daughter . The stewardess saw that and helping me a hand . I wish every airlines has someone like this crew member . Thank you so much for the awesome service on Japan Airlines."

The hostesses were super friendly always offering some sort of beverage, the food was tasty (Be careful not to drop noodles on yourself like I did, those bad boys left a little mark). The video selection wasn't huge, but it was definitely adequate with good titles. Maybe I haven't noticed this before in other airlines, but they had new toothbrushes (packaged, not someone's forgotten toothbrush) in the restroom so the poor sap next to me didn't have to smell my stinky breath. Finally, they were quick with boarding! They were very punctual and we took off right when we got on, so nice!"
Miinukset: "The seats were pretty adequately sized, however, I felt like I couldn't lay back too far or if the the person in front of me did, it made it really difficult to get the seats. Also, I thought it was my headphones, but it happened on a couple of flights with different headphones, but the audio only comes out of one earphone which was slightly annoying... Other than those things, JAL is super solid and I would recommend it to anyone considering them."
Plussat: "Airplane is well kept. Snacks are available near the beverage area."

Cabin foods are generous, filled with variety and tasting the best among various international airlines that I have experienced between LAX and Taipei, Taiwan in the past ten years. The seat belt on light and bell were kept at minimal, in contrast to other airlines like EVA, China Airlines, Korean Airlines and United Airlines."

Plussat: "What sets JAL apart is the quality of service both on the ground and in the air. As customers, even in economy, no request was too minor to be treated as the most important of the day. Both legs were on time, the meals were excellent, and the chouce of movies was more than adequate. I will fly with JAL again."

Miinukset: "I didn't like that the crew at check-in and the crew on the plane told me different things. The crew at check-in told me I could keep my purse with me, and the crew on the airline told me I had to put it overhead. Please be consistent! Flying is very stressful for me, and I want the staff to make it as stress-free as possible. As for boarding, I wasn't allowed into the gate until an hour before. What really bothered me was that they had already let some people into the gate and shut some other people out. Either let people in or don't. Don't follow the rules halfway because then they won't mean anything. I was very shocked by this and have never experienced this at any airline before. All I wanted to do was sit down and relax at the gate before boarding. If this ever happened to me again, I would not fly with the same airlines. To think that this was a JAL flight, with such a high reputation of customer service, makes me even more wary of booking a flight with JAL. I didn't appreciate being treated that way, and I will not tolerate it if it happens again."

Yeah my flight was delay by 3 hours for reasons out of their control and I missed my connecting flight but they completely made up for it. The food and drinks were really good along with the service. Plus they booked me on another flight along with a hotel for the night. Awesome service and experience, I would travel with them again."

Discovered in LAX that my luggage tags were improperly tagged in TPE. I had someone else's luggage tags on my bags going From TPE to KIX to LAX to Houston instead TPE - KIX- LAX- Austin."

Also, I had recalled on a flight I had taken a long time ago, how impressed I was at how clean the restrooms were maintained. Well, the high standard has not changed. JAL has great domestic connection service at Haneda and you don't need to go through security again once you clear security at the international terminal to board the shuttle to the domestic terminal."

Miinukset: "Asked specifically at the ticketing counter not to be seated in a non-emergency row. Were seated in an emergency row. For a 12 hour flight with seats that don't recline and nothing the on-board staff could do about the ticket counter's negligence and bad faith other than apologize. Seated upright for an overnight flight (for the second time on the same trip) for 12 hours. Not a pleasant experience. Had a feeling ANA would be bush league. This trip confirmed those suspicions. It wasn't the crew's fault (though they, unfortunately bore the brunt of my displeasure) so much as the counter's fault, but airlines charging what they are shouldn't be putting passengers or crew in this position. The ticket counter folks literally mislead us. They specifically told us that these were not emergency row seats and that we would have reclining seats and seatback displays in front of us like everyone else. The entire reason I asked is because we got stuck in the last row on the way in with seats that don't recline, which blows for a 12 hour red-eye flight. Instead we got seats that did not recline and a fold out screen that came from the right-hand arm rest. Not the end of the world if one had no choice, but certainly not what I paid for and certainly not what the ticketing counter people stated we were getting (under specific inquiry about the very point). The ticketing counter in particular seems to be skeevy, at best. To the detriment of their own crew, who is left apologizing for things they can do nothing about. As stated, this is a bush league international carrier. Avoid unless you love sleepless nights crossing the international dateline..."

Miinukset: "The personal entertaiment touch screen worked intermitently. When the touch screen did not work, i had to use the remote control to do what i want it to do. Boarding process experience can be improve with better sign for the queing lines and have boarding crew station at end of every quing lines to make sure all passengers are queing in the correct line."
Plussat: "I like the way the flight attendants treat the passengers. They are very courteous, friendly and wearing very sweet smiles.The airplane is very prompt when it comes to arrival and departure schedule. Thank you very much for providing me a wheelchair which made my travel more convenient."

The food was decent for an airline and there was enough space for me in the economy class. I'm 193 cm by the way. Space is required for long flights. The entertainment was very good with a volume selection of the lastest movies that recently came out a month or two ago. If you have a chance to fly ANA take it. You won't be disappointed."

Plussat: "The hard product of seats and plane was really nice. Flying the new A359, very comfortable. Lower cabin pressure felt really nice on the skin. Lie flat beds were a treat, and a massive entertainment system."
Miinukset: "The food was average. Had some chicken on pasta on the way over, chicken was dry and without sauce. My wife fainted on the flight and the flight attendant wasn't the most reassuring. Also her foot rest broke and they blamed her weight which was mean."
Miinukset: "I personally don't like how you can't choose seats until check in. Although the food menu states that noodles and snacks were available upon request, we were turned down several times when we requested. Food served, especially main entree, were barely edible. It was probably the worst airline food I've ever had, and I travel very frequently. When we arrived back at JFK from our trip, it took over 2 hours for our luggage to arrive at baggage claim."

Miinukset: "Online check-in system is terrible. 2 out of the 4 legs of the flights I was unable to check-in and get a seat assigned. Then there's nothing you could do except to show up at the counter on the day of the flight. How could the system be so inflexible that we are now almost in 2017?!"
Plussat: "Everything was great. The crew was polite and helpful throughout my flights. The food was good, tasty and hot! Had some newer movies available."
Plussat: "This plane was an Airbus 350. Seems to be the lated Airbus model. Business class section very much like the Boing 777, maybe a little better in some design modification of the seats."

Miinukset: "Flight was delayed in to HK. The restaurant staff (not airline staff) came round offering HK$ 75 to each passenger for a snack. This much appreciated, but I wondered why a restaurant worker was doing this, not airline staff. Being delayed into Osaka, the captain kindly told us that buses were arranged. Good! I thought, until the organization was seen. Ground staff were no where to be seen. Eventually found them huddled at one arrival gate directling passengers to buses. Other passengers at the other arrival gate similarly swirling around without info or help. staff unhelpful, rude, uncaring. SHOCKED by level of incompetence."

KLM offer a superior flight experience - it is a shame their terrestrial customer servic does not match it!"
Plussat: "The crew came to get me from the arrival gate to get to the departure gate since our plane was delayed. It helped to know that the airline was checking to make sure we made the flight."
Miinukset: "I did not get my luggage in Nairobi. The delayed flight that was the most likely reason it did not get to the connecting flight to Nairobi."

Plussat: "Efficiency and speed of boarding was acceptable. I have no complaints about that aspect. The Comfort+ seats were worth the upgrade, pretty comfortable and reasonable legroom unless you have a big carry on stowed under the seat in front of you."
Miinukset: "The first announcement they made to all of us in the economy section was thay they did not have any headphones for anyone but business class. I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. So I did not bother to bring any assuming they were going to keep their word; I figure I'd make it work and watch a movie without sound. If that isn't bad enough midway through my nine hour flight my monitor went out and would not turn back on."

Contact to executing airline KLM very difficult, because the case-nr. on the "lost-luggage-form" was unreadable. but without this number, you can do nothing, because it almost impossible to get someone on the phone at KLM. Mostly you talk to computers. Obviously the phone is oldfashioned and you need twitter and facebook. Poor service, KLM So you can have a pleasant flight, but if you need service, you are lost."
