Flight cancelled whilst checking in luggage No help or information for alternative flights Absolute mess
Plussat: "Yes.. crew was awesome.. Wish they did not charge us for drinks the second time around"

Miinukset: "No complimentary water! The first flight I ever had like that. Very disappointing!"
Plussat: "Due to weather, the flight took off an hour and a half late, but we landed at Heathrow only an hour behind. Cudos to the pilots for making up much needed time for many passengers."
Miinukset: "While waiting to board, they could have explained the reason for the delay much better. We stood in line for over 15 minutes beyond the initial time for boarding without reason."
Miinukset: "Are you kidding me? Plane was delayed and we miss the next plane. We were in airport 14hr. Still in London."
Plussat: "On time and comfortable flight."
Miinukset: "No free snacks."
Plussat: "Kind and caring staff"

Miinukset: "Long lines to board. Take a bus from the terminal to the plane. Walk up a lot of stairs to get on the plane. No free bottled water or soft drinks. Ten minutes before landing they gave me tap water."
Miinukset: "Just believe overall they could do better"
Miinukset: "Late departure caused down stream issues."
Plussat: "Nothing, nothing. At all."
Miinukset: "After hours at the gate, the flight was finally deemed cancelled. I missed my layover and was forced to stay over night at a airport hotel. I had paid a change fee to come home specifically for that day which I lost, not to mention 9 hours in the airport... the flights for the following day were totally downgraded from my original booking. Was so upset I could have cried...."

Plussat: "I managed to get onto an earlier flight than anticipated when my original flight to Milan was canceled. The flight went well and service was certainly completely acceptable. I don't recall many details more than two weeks later."
Miinukset: "The exit row seat available on the rebooked flight was a middle seat, and I can't really complain since I did get the extra leg room I originally booked. I didn't like the length of time I had to wait at Heathrow, however, due to the canceled flight. It was several hours! My apartment rental landlord and I were both inconvenienced somewhat by the late evening arrival when an early afternoon arrival was initially scheduled."

Miinukset: "I received an email before the flight telling me as the flight would be operated by another carrier there would be free refreshments - but it wasn't and there weren't. Rather odd."
Plussat: "Was not able to check in for the flight on the ba.com. Called BA on the phone - no help. Person in the Geneva airport - unprofessional, unhelpful, had to go to another agent to get seat assignment. British Airlines - disappointing."
Miinukset: "Customer service - useless and with attitude. Couldn’t check in for the flight either on ba.com or over the phone."
Plussat: "The crew, all the way around were very attentive & courteous, food was great!"
Miinukset: "I was completely satisfied with this airline, would use again!"
Plussat: "British AIT flight attendants are the nicest"
Miinukset: "The metal entertainment boxes where your feet go- io am 183cm and the boxes don’t allow me to stretch my legs"

Miinukset: "Passport control at Miami flat out socks and seems to be getting worse."

Plussat: "<i really liked the seating as <i could push up the arm rests and relax and streatch out in Coach."
Miinukset: "I was disappointed in the food. On my second flight that day my ticket said I would get a meal but I didn´t."
Plussat: "Seats very tight on BA. Departure late, arrival late - had to run to Terminal 3 to catch plane to Philadelphia."
Miinukset: "Seats, woman at check in very rude."
Plussat: "Not much, crew were pleasant though and the flight on time."
Miinukset: "It was like being on a really cheap budget airline, but paying expensive prices. Food only for sale with a British credit or debit card, won't take cash,no menu cards, and even if I'd wanted to get food, no gluten free options, which is not a lifestyle choice for me, but a necessity.Scruffy dog-eared magazines in the seat pocket. Not even an offer of tea or coffee. Check-in online would not allow me to change my seat, although it told me I could. I fly a lot, but tend to avoid BA now if I can, and this flight just confirmed that preference."
Plussat: "Not much - the entertainment choices were good and the flight was safe and smooth. Plus my bag turned up from Helsinki, Heathrow, Singapore, sydney"
Miinukset: "The biz class seats on BA are just horrible. The biz class service - BA aren’t even trying to match other airlines. A stingy snenities kit and a blanket doesn’t come close to qantas or emerites. The food is an embarrassment - microwave dinners over heated is a a generous description. Crew do as little as possible (they don’t want to be they’ve either)"

Miinukset: "hard to check in to BA in Helsinki. signage could be better as this was a code share."
Miinukset: "Flight connection in Chicago for flight to Austin was missed. Had to stay the night in Chicago instead of getting home to Austin that day."
Miinukset: "No USB port for charging phone and poor audio watching entertainment"
Plussat: "Crew was very courteous"
Miinukset: "Boarding is totally chaotic. Once priority boarding is done it is every man for themselves. Most airlines give you a boarding number and that cuts down on the pushing and shoving."
Miinukset: "After sitting on the tarmac (I understand the delay) for 2 hours there was no water available for another hour past takeoff. And then it was only available for purchase. Really, a cup of free water is asking too much?"
Miinukset: "The woman who worked the British Airways desk in Helsinki and checked our bags is not suited for a customer service position. The screens on the British Airways long haul planes are tiny and difficult to operate. A 2,5 h flight where you can't even get water complimentary is appalling. Honestly all of your competitors offer a snack and beverages complimentary even if the flight is only 45 min. The boarding for London to Dallas flight was very confusing and could have been made easier with grouping the boarding instead of tons of people piling up to rush in at once."

Plussat: "Very attentive, kind caring"
Miinukset: "Flight was late, boarding was confusing. Not even a free glass of water. Really quite mediocre"
Plussat: "The crew was very friendly and accommodating. Service was wonderful and the food was good."
Miinukset: "Boarding was very disorganized with only signs showing for priority boarding. In flight entertainment did not work for first half of flight. Once it began to work a little, there was no notification on how to use it since it was still not working properly."
Plussat: "we got a 787 dreamliner, the coach seats had good space between rows, so we had enough legroom. food - dinner - was tasty, and breakfast was plain but was completely OK. entertainment was excellent, lots of new movies, and also older movies and TV programs. crew was courteous and very helpful, and boarding was quick and smooth. all in all, a very positive experience."

Plussat: "Aer Lengus is great. Complete contrast with the trip from the US to Heathrow with BA-D. That leg was horrible, one of top two worst over my 30+?years of traveling internationally Viva Aer Lengus comfort and customer relations, what a difference with BA-Disastrous customer support in Heathrow"

Miinukset: "No screens to help time pass, enjoy watching movies on the longer trips. Offer a "snack" and free small drink would be helpful. Pretzels or chips. Explaining customs would be helpful for those of us who don't travel. Cramped seating."
Miinukset: "Massively cramped seating. BA needs to work out if it is the national carrier or a budget airline. The seat back of the passenger in front, when reclined, basically trapped me in my seat and made the entertainment screen very hard to see.The crew were efficient but quite rude to the passenger next to me when she hesitated over a meal choice. I will go quite a long way out of my way to avoid traveling on BA in the future, based on this experience."
