Miinukset: "The new carry-on laptop caused a delay of about 1 hr before departure and arrival an hour late, then claiming the laptop was almost a nightmare with long queue after picking up the luggages, one has to also claim their laptops in a make shift station In the baggage claims area. My suggestion is to put the computer laptops in alphabetic order by last name/surname, with the claim ticket,for easier access when picking up. As for departure, probably at check in to inform them that if you have a laptop carry-on so that can be taken care of right away as not to delay departure when they take it at the departing gate. This should be done at check in if in Turkey, or as a transferring traveler, to inform the traveler to take care of that as soon as arrived to transferring destination and for the traveler not to wait until boarding time at the boarding gate."

They were unhelpful, rude, blatantly ignored people, dismissive, walked away from customers when they didn't want to deal with them, did not do anything to keep order when people were cutting in line after people were waiting for 4+ hours. I will avoid flying Turkish Airlines as best I can."

As opposed to United where you have to stick your feet in a little cubby the Turkish plane has just an open bench which opens to provide storage and gives ample foot room. I have never slept so much on a flt. Also he bathrooms are much more spacious than others."

Stewards couldn't give out bottles of water, only those little cups from time to time. They could bring more of those little cups when you called for them, but not during turbulence. So having no access to water was not great (or planned out on their part). Also, no random sweeps of the aisle by the stewardess from time to time, to check on comfort. My seat kept being pushed by passenger behind me. Flight into Istanbul two weeks prior was great all around. This knee was filled with too many negative moments."

Miinukset: "The entry to the plane in Istanbul was complicated--double checking at the gate for security and then also the boarding entry. The lines were crowded and disorganized and began late. After we were on the runway, we actually turned around and went back to the gate to let one sick passenger off. the flight attendants went up and down the aisles multiple times opening bins and asking people if the luggage was theirs or not before we could leave the gate again. It was really disorganized and bizarre. The flight itself was fine. The flight attendants weren't overly friendly, and they were missing during longer stretches, leaving passengers to find refreshments on their own. Beyond that, things were thankfully uneventful."

Crowd of people, huge lines, all disorganized. The control for EU passengers was not so crowded but you couldn't see it at the end of the line, so even people who didn't have to were all crowding in the same cue. Horrible experience and I almost missed my flight because of this mess."

Once I got to the airport there was a wheelchair at the gate and it was great because we were on the opposite side if the airport for our next flight and he was very nice to talk to as we were walking."

I LOVE THE GERMAN SAUSAGE, SAUERKRAUT, MASHED POTATO MEAL served just before landing in San Francisco. I wish I could have this meal on every flight!"

The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

Miinukset: "- Schiphol airport (AMS) is small, crowded, noisy; no water fountains; toilets are dirty and insufficient in number; SFO is much better - KLM boarding process was chaotic (not by group or row number), boarding/security personnel (4 old guys) didn't have a clue - 787 is noisy, chairs are uncomfortable (my back still hurts) and very close together, they also recline way too much - food trays not collected promptly - noisy babies on all flights - clearly not enough cabin crew for a full flight - no or wrong info by pilots on timing (crew are always lying anyway) - gate is all around the back at SFO (long taxi to get there) - they inserted people in wheelchairs during deboarding thus holding everybody up."

I planned to take a taxi to have it take me around a nice at night to see the city. But lost that opportunity.. Then the next morning before boarding I got inquired by French police asking why did I stay in Nice over night. My suitcase locks was cut open and a special silver plated cup,handle,was broken in my suitcase."

Plussat: "We could tell upon boarding that the crew was focused on making our fight of 10 hours as pleasant as they could. They got along well together, which aided in providing excellent coordinated care to the passengers. Not an hour passed without being offered food, drinks, snacks, drinks, and more food. Even a time delay at take off due of a passenger leaving passport in the terminal was made up mid flight, for an ontime arrival in SFO. Would definitely look to British Airways for my next European trip."

Miinukset: "For the 2nd time, neither me or my husband got our food choice...it has happened everytime we have flown. And we purchased full fare business class seats! I can understand once and maybe for one of us but it has happened EVERY time. MOST IMPORTANTLY, I sadly left my laptop onboard and I called the number for SFO BA Lost and Found for 48 hours....every 20 minutes. NO ONE answered and no one returned my messages. I finally had to drive back to the airport to talk to a human....a 5 hr round trip. No laptop turned in and it didn't turn back up in London. So clearly, cleaning crew stole it. That in its own right is a problem but NO ONE returning my calls. Completely unacceptable. I got the duty manager's email and emailed him TWICE over TWO days before he returned my email. I highly doubt I will fly BA again, I'm afraid."

Other people were in the same boat. We had no chance to make our connection but others did. While the flight crew offered weak apologies advising they had no control, they made no effort to help connecting passengers in ways the could control. Such as asking all passengers to remain seated allowing connecting passengers off the plane first. Something I've seen done on many other airlines numerous times."

If I had known we would be placed back a row and not able to be more comfortable I would not have paid that fee. I do feel as though I was scammed for the $225 for reserving the seats."

Miinukset: "There was nothing different that could have been done. We had a 5 hour layover after our flight from Shannon. That was ok because we ate, shopped and generally used the time. But we were 1/1/2 hours late taking off, then had to wait to land because we were out of order for the gates. It turned into a 23 hour day."
Plussat: "LOVED the hospitality of the crew, the food was great and they feed you a lot on the flight- my guess is to quell the anxieties of flying over the atlantic LOL. Flight to SFO from London was smooth."
Miinukset: "The seats are intensely uncomfortable. I upgraded to emergency exit this flight and still no room. Also, would be amazing if there was WiFi (even if for parts of the flight and not the entire flight). 11 hours is a long time to listen to same songs on your ipod lol."

However, what was not ok was that the last hour to hour and a half, we were delayed because 2 people decided to leave the airplane and staff were looking for their bags. I find it outrageous that BA inconvenienced 400+ passengers for the sake of 2! This should not happen no matter how much they paid for their seats."

Miinukset: "Lost my wife's reservation for return trip. Thus, lost the extra luggage reservation and payment as well. Seems Aer Lingus failed to input her ticket properly into BA system. That's what BA claimed, anyway. It had been a mystery as to why we could not check in on line so we knew something was wrong. Could not easily pick up phone to correct while in UK. FINALLY, BECAUSE OF LATE CHECKIN, SEATS WERE MIDDLE MIDDLE in a giant airbus jet and quite a bit less desirable than we usually get by checking in early and arriving early. Overall a disappointment, tho we arrived safely and nearly on time."
Miinukset: "They cancelled our flight and the only reason we flew with them is so that we could fly on an L380. After they booked us on American Airlines, they rescheduled the flight that we really paid for. THEN, when we tried to check in at the airport we found out that BA did not actually book us on American even though they gave us seat assignments. We almost missed our flight home because of their horrible service. Will NEVER fly BA again."

Miinukset: "The most uncomfortable flight I have ever been on. British Airways website would not let me check-in in advance so me and my travel partner had possibly the worst seats on the entire plane. The seats were miserably uncomfortable. All of the people surrounding us were extremely inconsiderate. The person in front of me reclined their seat to the max, leaving me with inches of space in front of my face. My knees were sinking into the seat in front of me and I'm not even a tall person (5'5" with average length legs). I had to recline my seat a bit and when I did so, the person behind me kept kicking the back of my seat. The passenger to the left of me used both armrests available to him and left me with none. He was also a creepy person and asked my friend if she wanted to sleep on him."
Plussat: "The crew, food, and comfort of the plane were all outstanding. The plane was the quietest and smoothest ride I have ever had. We were delayed almost 3.3 hours because of a change in planes that needed to take place earlier in the day, but there was plenty of notice ahead and some minor credit was given for food while waiting at the airport. All understandable."
Miinukset: "The baggage at the end of the flight was quite delayed and after waiting almost 1.5 hours was told that a significant portion of the baggage had not made it to SFO from London. Curious as the flight had been delayed 3.3 hours so one might assume there was plenty of time for all connecting baggage to make the transfer. All the agents on the ground were very helpful, however seriously understaffed and overwhelmed by the scale of the problem so passengers, already delayed 3.5 hours, lost about another 1 - 2 hours, no fun at 9:30pm."
