Food was horrible on every leg. Husbands tv did not work. I am petite and seats too small even for me. never again will o give this airline my money."

Some people even had to missed there flights altogether! Lufthansa, from the 4 times I have flown with them always seems to be late with no sense of urgency. Ultimately after arriving in Venice, I get an email that my bags did not make it, yet I was told by the boarding agent that the plane was still loading our bags."

The flight attendants were polished, professional, and actually wanted to provide a service. Their interactions made me feel like I was cared about and that they wanted my unique needs to be met. This made a 10 hour flight an enjoyable experience which I certainly didn't anticipate."

I had to call up to clarify this as I found it unacceptable for a 7-8 hour flight to put a family in separate seats especially considering my child is 6 years old. Instead of always looking for a way to make money use some common sense. I spent over an hour on the phone trying to get someone to address this issue the night before the flight. They eventually put us together and upgraded us to Economy Plus."

Plussat: "Everything was top of the line but the baggage fees are exorbitant. Had I known I'd pay $100 for a second bag & $200 for a 3rd on my flight to India, I would have booked with a different carrier."

The contact number that O’Hare had was a disconnected Verizon number, which was the same number listed on their website. I had to call the international number where I was told I was rebooked on United with 2 layovers instead of one. I also lost my business class upgrade and was told there was nothing they could do about it."

Miinukset: "Boarding was not organized at all. I was sitting in the front yet I got in almost at the end and barely was able to find a place for my handbags. Ut took way too long and people had to stand for a long time to board. Crew members were not up to par either. I had my earphones and was watching a movie and feel asleep. And everytime one them passes by, they will knock me awake. I was extremely tired and tried hard to sleep yet they kept waking me up every time one of them passes by, no matter how skinny they were! Totally unprofessional."

Miinukset: "There was no entertainment unless you paid for it. We already pay enough for our tickets to fly and entertainment should be included and not another added expense, especially for families that already pay so much for their flights!"

Miinukset: "had a narrow connecting flight VIE to MUC, VIE flight was delayed and had to catch MUC to IAD flight in less than 15 min. One luggage was missing at baggage claim, but as DC/ Baltimore is home, luggage arrived in 48 hrs. All is well that ends well."

Then when I did travel, it turned out I didn't have the right for a piece luggage (again "small print"). I paid for the extra piece and I was double-charged (same amount withdrawn twice). Now I have opened a complained with Austrian and they haven't responded so far."

Plussat: "It's just normal seats with the middle seat blocked for Business class. It's not a true Business class seat by any definition. There is no entertainment system for this flight. I would choose to fly economy for this leg, if given the option as there is no added value to the Business class."
Plussat: "The flight was nowhere near full, which was terrific. The crew were excellent, polite and attentive. Everything was on time."

Miinukset: "Flight get cancelled and they needed 4 hours to tell me you are going with another airline with multiple steps for next day. I missed two very important meetings."
Plussat: "People at the desk didn't know or don't wanna say much why we have no plane"
Miinukset: "I arrived at Vienna on time but to Skopje we had no plans and we hade to wait till 13:40 to board"
Miinukset: "My father and I were seated in biz class but were unable to sleep because of a fan noise directly over our seats in Row 9. We complained to the attendant about it but she was unable to determine the cause. Many hours later, a different crew member identified the noise source and stopped it by simply flipping a switch. This disruptive noise could have easily been avoided but the ignorance of the crew member to whom we complained failed to solve it. By the time the second crew member identified the problem there was not enough time to sleep. This experience was extremely disappointing. We paid extra to fly business class so we could sleep, but this ridiculous crew error fouled our plans. We asked the crew to file a report about it and they did. Look into it. We expect a refund of the extra fare we paid, or else we will never fly Austrian Airlines again. I am an affluent person and I travel internationally 6 times per year. You would be smart not to anger me and lose my business."

Plussat: "Even though I was very disappointed at what the Austrian airline did to me, the staff and crew and captains where professional and the flight was comfortable especially on Lufthansa. However, I missed the experience of enjoying the flight with the group of people that I joined on the way to Vienna and to Egypt."
Miinukset: "I didn't like the fact that they cancelled my Austrian flight to a completely different company (Lufthansa). I paid extra money when I reserved the tickets in the USA to make sure I am on the same plane as the other three families that i wanted to be with as a group. They had reserved their tickets and I got the flight numbers and when I reserved my booking I paid extra to be on the same airplane as the rest of the group. My plan worked going to Vienna and to Cairo (although one of the planes were delayed 3 hours which ruined our stay in Vienna) but on the way back from Cairo to LA, I couldn't be with the group because I left 2 hours early and arrived in LA 2 hours late. I pleaded that I came with a group but they said I have a different booking so they couldn't honor keeping me on the same plane as the group. I am very disappointed and will avoid my future travel with Austrian airline"

Miinukset: "We paid to pre-book our seats and when we got on the plane they had been given away. We heard several different reasons, none of which made is feel better about the two middle seats we were told we had no choice but to take, while people who had NOT prepaid sat in our aisle seat. It was offensive to be forced to pay to select our seats in advance on a major international airline in the first place, and then to not have those honored just made it worse."

Miinukset: "As usual, boarding in Miami airport is awful which is not exactly coming from austrian airlines, but they also took part in the unpleasant experience. The announcements were badly articulated, the boarding time was delayed and so on. Onboard, part of the crew completely refused to speak english."
Miinukset: "The website is a horror, particularly from an iPad. Trying to web checkin was an arduous battle. Obviously the consumer is the least important factor in the lack of managing the product. I avoid Austrian for that simple reason. Crew polite. Pilot informative."

Miinukset: "They could not issue boarding pass for the all the segments of the travel. The agent had to talk to someone in order to even issue the boarding pass and even though the bags were checked in all the way to Pittsburgh boarding passes were not issued. I cannot blame the agent because Luftansa had issued the ticket for this Austrian Airline flight."
Plussat: "The plane was comfortable and the crew was very nice."
Miinukset: "The boarding in Budapest was not efficient. The gate was not announced until it was almost time to board. Hurry-up for me who arrived at the airport in plenty of time to avoid rushing. But I indeed had to rush because of the late gate posting."
Plussat: "I flew to Venice on Austrian Airlines to make a connection on an Air Canada flight to Toronto. When we debarked from the Austrian Airline onto the tarmac and picked up our luggage, I could find no signs indicating where to go for connecting flights, nor any signs indicating the gates of connecting flights. I was told that to make a connecting flight, I should go out to the main lobby of the airport, At the information desk they directed me to the Air Canada check in desk, where I found the check-in for my flight was closed. That was the the beginning of a nightmare chase to get to the plane to Toronto. I made it only because of the kindness of people in the check in, security and customs lines. Austrian Airlines should be kinder to its passengers making connecting flights. They seemed to abandon us passengers in a chaotic airport."

Miinukset: "Uncertinty at boarding.Changing the time of take off several times and very slow boarding.Rough landing."
Plussat: "The meal and drink service was quite good. The stewards/stewardesses were very attentive and kind."
Miinukset: "There is not enough leg room. There is even less room if the person in front of one's seat has the seat reclined. The seats barely recline at all, so sleep is impossible. Sleep would be possible if there were enough room to rest one's head on the tray in front of the seat. This is impossible if the person in front of one's seat has reclined his or her seat. Thus, sleep is totally impossible on this aircraft. The sinks in the bathrooms also need to be deeper and need to drain more quickly."
Plussat: "The crew was the only good thing about this flight/airline."
Miinukset: "I was very disappointed with Austrian airlines. I was not able to pick my own seat even after I checked in and the actual seats on the plane were extremely small and uncomfortable. This made it impossible for me to enjoy mi flight. A 5'6' person should not have any issues but my knees were touching the seat in front of me. The seat was very narrow - it felt cramped and as if they turned a space designed for 2-4-2 into a 3-4-3. When I called the customer service before the flight to get a seat next to my husband who had a separate reservation, it took about 4 calls before anyone even mentioned that out reservations could be linked together. will not fly Austrian airlines again."

Miinukset: "Food & extremely old plane with no electrical outlets no Wi-Fi and the entertainment system was rubbish . The food was terrible. One passenger mentioned that the bathroom was in terrible shape. I actually tidied up the bathroom before I left cause my bathroom was also in terrible shape or getting there. This plane needs to be retired it is so old! United Airlines should be embarrassed! I can't believe this plane is still in circulation at least the inside of it! How about updating it to modern times?"
Plussat: "It seemed like the crew and passengers had really good attitudes; which always goes a long way."
Miinukset: "The screens were very small. It would have been nice to have an entertainment menu, with the ability to choose a film and to have a play/pause option. Meal options were limited; by the time I could choose pasta was the only choice left. I would have also appreciated the option of herbal or decaf tea."

Miinukset: "I am vegeterian and they served me meat twice. At the first time they forgot to serve me food while I was at the restroom. It took me a while to reach their attention and I started my meal when everyone finished."
Miinukset: "Seats fold to something like 1 degree in the economy class; feels more like a lowcost only expensive."
Plussat: "The staff was friendly and the meals were nice. It's crew was trained and the flight was pleasant. The seats were comfortable and the entertainment had lots of options."

Miinukset: "KLM had bumped us to a later flight for no reason and again we had to call with a long wait to get our original connection restored, However, we did not get boarding passes during checking in Europe and thus had to go outside security in Detroit to the main check-in gate and wait 30 minutes to get the error resolved. Then it was back thorough security and a rush to the gate to get there in time to board. Lost our original seat assignment and wound up in the last row at the tail of the plane. Extremely poor coordination between KLM and Delta who operated the flight."

Miinukset: "Horrible. First, we lost a suitcase. It could happen but for two days they did nothing and only told us stories (so as not to use the word lies). Within a few hours (and thanks to airline assistance) we were able to locate the suitcase. Even then it took them two days to bring it to us, two precious days off our planned vacation (7 days) At the end of the shortened vacation, we got to the chek in, and told that since the ticket I had purchased form them two months earlier was too cheap ... and since the flight was Over booked, they would take me off the plane if all the passengers would arrive. It's unnecessary to describe what I felt until the plane took off. They apologize constantly, but do nothing practical. a bae company. no me nor my freinds/family will go with KLM"

Ground staff in Marseiile great but gate crew didn't control carry on baggage and many of us could not use overhead bins because of passengers who stowed more than one and often oversized suitcases above, so we and many others had to place carry on suitcases under seat. Attendant on plane totally unhelpful and could have rearranged a few bags to make room but preferred to stay in back of plane and talk. To be fair, rest of flight was pleasant although late due in part to boarding issues."

So it's one thing that you have to cancel the flight because of fog; but rebooking us the next day on a flight through New York that doesn't exist, was way below the standard of care I would expect from any airline. Apparently, the NY to LAX flight that KLM booked us on, was only one leg of the flight to Sydney Australia; and according to some airline agreement, only Australian nationals are permitted to take that flight! Running around at JFK from terminal four, to terminal seven, to terminal eight, back to terminal four, to get a flight out, was a bit much considering how tired we were – not to mention hungry, since KLM neglected to provide the kosher meals we had requested with plenty of time – BOTH going to and returning from Europe."
Miinukset: "One and a half hour delay on a 50 minute flight. Flight was operated by Cityjet on behalf of KLM. Never have I seen such bad customer service: from rude people at the bagage drop off to incompetent hostesses at the boarding gate."

I was moved to SAA in the end after a truly traumatic time in Johannesburg. This is not the first time I have suffered at the hands of Air France sadly. Needless to say, I wont be booking with Air France again."

They have computers and could have cross – checked with my name, but they refused to do so until I told him to try to use the one claim ticket that I did have. They did and the matter was eventually resolved, and I am awaiting my bags now at the place where I am staying."
Miinukset: "Although Air France sold me a return ticket from Zurich to Edinburgh via Paris CDG both connections in CDG were very tight and needed me to run between terminals. They say you can make it within the 50 min change over but it is really pushing it. One and a half hours would be better. My incoming flight was delayed by 15 mins and the plane parked off stand and we were bused to the terminal. That all left just 20 mins to get from the bus to the departure gate having to clear passport control and security. Ran to the gate with seconds to spare."

Though there were slight delays due to technical checks at boarding time, everything else was on schedule and we even landed slightly ahead of time, never a bad thing. The flight was smooth and quite pleasurable. Now we are prepared to experience flying with Brussels Airlines again."
Miinukset: "1) They left our luggage at Brussels, the lost and found desk in Venice that handles Brussels airlines was unmanned. Took 40 minutes to talk to a person. 2) Although promised to bring the luggage on the next day, only brought 2 days after! We had to buy some cloth and still waiting for response from them. 3) We almost missed the connection flight (we had almost hour and a half) because the line for connection flight security was enormous and only 1 person worked in the security. Not only that we were rushed by the crew to RUN (!!!) for the bus, that was ridiculous ! We could fall and hurt ourselves."

Plussat: "We got warm washcloths to refresh our hands and face. A full bottle of water to save as we needed, followed immediately by a beverage service and pretzels. Dinner of either fish or chicken was delicious, and included bread, cheese, salad, and dessert. Followed by additional beverage services, a mushroom calzone and finally Belgium chocolates. The crew was friendly and entertainment on personal monitors was very good. This was the best overseas flight I have had in several years."

We have the number and Brussels Air was the one that got it for him on his outgoing trip! When I called the airline to get his route details they said he does have one and they saw that he did. So what's up Brussels Air staff? We hope you will offer some recompense for the error and the trouble."

Miinukset: "Our flight (operated by Air Canada) was delayed due to a control tower fire. Other flights seemed to have been delayed 1 or 2 hours, but ours was delayed 3.5 hours. That's not really the airline's fault, but it seems like they didn't want to communicate updates or give us any options for alternate flights. They also listed the delay at just under 3 hours, rather than the real 3.5 we were late leaving the gate (to avoid giving out vouchers, I suspect)."

Dozens stood for over a half hour waiting to move forward. They wouldn't let us back into the gate area to sit. Poor planning"
Plussat: "Second time I called customer support a A nice lady named Elisia was super friendly and helpful and was able to switch me to another flight on the same day."
Miinukset: "Received a text message that my flight back to the US was canceled. The first time I called Brussels Airlines customer service, I was offered only the same flight one or two days later. Phone support person was very unfriendly and unwilling to look at other options like booking me on another flight that same day."

Miinukset: "Every time, I board my United flights at Heathrow, London airport, the staff makes the customers very stressed out. First, customers can not see the signs for the different groups (1,2,3,etc.) and the staff makes you feel like that you should know the process (when we don't)! A couple of suggestions, 1) the staff needs customer training, and 2) have some staff outside boarding area to help direct people to different groups NICELY!"

Abidjan to Brussels was free food then mid flight rules changed and the food was on sale on the last leg of the flight."
