We had a connecting flight both with Ryanair - both delayed nearly missed it.
I had checked in requesting Special assistance. They claimed they didn't see it. On leaving Naples I confirmed that this notice existed. I recently had hip surgery and am suffering from severe autoimmune disease on immunosuppressive therapy. I was not assisted or allowed to go through Fast Track (while my booking clearly stated this) resulting in me having to run a huge distance on foot. I arrived in extreme pain and limping just before missing my flight. If there hadn't been a fight with another passenger and the company (hence delay in boarding) I would have lost it for sure. Unacceptable.
Good flight although had to wait a long time to board but great crew
The plane was late and the crew made jokes about it. There was no food or entertainment, there never is.
Our original flight was canceled, so we had to fly a day early (or 3 days later, which wasn’t an option for us) and not even to our original destination. Due to this change, we not only had to spend 1 hour on a bus and then 3+ hours on a hot train to arrive at the destination we originally paid for. We also had to get a hotel for an extra night and spent money on meals, etc in transit. Did I mention that the flight we were put on was also over an hour late taking off?! Not a great experience.
One of the suitcases never reached Milan Bergamo Airport. Of course we filed a case and we are still awaiting.
The problem is that it was a delay and we lost connection in Milan Bergamo. But the really problem was not ryanair but Kiwi.com and kayak that sell this kind of connection that are very risky and kiwi guarantee option doesn’t work. They say that they will find you another flight but after some days where flight is. They gave us money back after 3 months and we pay for other connection more.
The people on the gate was arrogant and unsympathetic. Creating a lot of problems with the luggage, being that it did not exceed the weight. I'm not used to travel with Ryanair and I think that I will not travel again with this company .
Fast, good loads in and out, totally worth of price.

Boarding started ahead of time. But then we were waiting on the tarmac without knowing why there was a 40min delay. Would have been nice to have a bit more information regarding duration and reason of the delay.

The windows were white and grey sue to the rainy clouds and then super brigth as lightnings struck.. the plane was shaking like crazy..."

Miinukset: "Every group on plane seemed to have been purposely split up even though there were many empty seats. Difficult to book luggage on the website. They said there were strict size limits on cabin bags, but when we got to the gate they didn’t check any - we had to pay for an extra bag in hold when we could have just used a bigger bag for hand luggage. Everything was difficult. Bag drop didn’t work - we had to queue to to go to the desk 3 times and the lady eventually did it herself. Staff were polite and nice."
Miinukset: "Awful experience with Latvian staff during boarding. Luggage passed weight and size inspection from Milan to Riga. It has also passed inspection in Riga, but was checked again during boarding. Staff did not want to work with us and penalized my kid by charging him 53 Euro luggage fee. Disappointed that some staff members have suaded us to never fly Ryanair again"

Random seat selection for your group is an example of pissing 1/2 customers of every time I’ve flown with them. Pay extra to stay close to friends... would avoid"

Miinukset: "Was told by 4 diff people to stand in 4 diff long lines which proved incorrect. Airport organization was terrible at both points. My liquids were broken and ruined (I never have issues with liquids.) whole process took 2x normal amount of time and I lost my train because of it."

Miinukset: "At SXP there was no separate line for security for those who purchased priority boarding like at many other airports. I almost missed my flight because of the line. I don't honestly think there's a point in buying priority from SXP because it doesn't help here."

Miinukset: "When checking in I noticed me and my boyfriend were "randomly allocated" seats 10 rows apart. When I called and enquiried about this I was told that I would have to pay to move the seats even though there were 4 seats available next to my boyfriends allocated seat. This is ridiculous seeing as it was not a separate booking and there were plenty of seats available! On the way back my boyfriend was charged 50 euros for a bag which the flight attendant deemed as oversized even though on the way there it was perfectly fine. Her reasoning was that it would have to be put under the plane... When walking to the plane we saw that most people were asked to leave their hand luggage on the tarmac to be put "under the plane" without being charged so essentially we were ripped off yet again!"

Miinukset: "I showed up to the airport (Stansted) RIGHT on time to make the flight, but ran into several issues: 1. I was flying with an american passport, and the line to have my boarding pass 'stamped' to verify the passport was insanely long. 2. Missed the flight due to long commute within the Stansted terminal 3. Made it to the flight 25 min before takeoff, but was too late, so missed the flight. Had to wait in the terminal for 20 minutes for someone to come pick us up and drive us out of the terminal. 4. Ryanair customer service simply instructed me to rebook my flight online. They were not of any help. 5. I had a tight connection in Milan to the bus that would take me to the city, which i almost missed because my carryon bag had to be checked in. 6. Boarding was absolutely hectic, I was almost put on a flight to Greece instead of Milan. Stay away from Ryanair if you can."
Miinukset: "Besides being really uncomfortable for various reasons, like the endless security procedures, the crew's bad manners and lots of other annoying things that really baffled me like making people stand in line for half hour before boarding (why?), at the end of the day you have to take into account that Stansted + Ryanair means adding an extra hour to what you would normally take for a flight and a lot of stress, not only for what aforementioned but also for the constant feeling of potentially being ripped off with additional charges like late check in and baggage size."

Plussat: "Ryan Air's prices cannot be beat! The low cost to fly has made it possible for me to travel around Europe the few times I have visited. I have never been stopped for my carry-on luggage *knock on wood*, which I'm sure may have been slightly over the limits, and it has been greatly appreciated. Very friendly crew, and relatively painless boarding process."
Miinukset: "The ability to check in online SOUNDS like it will save time, but this is my third Ryan Air flight where I have stood through the line to get my documents checked, been approved, and then gotten all the way to security where I have been told my boarding pass won't scan. If anyone is reading this, I would suggest checking in online, and then just having them print you off a boarding pass at the desk. That boarding pass will for sure scan once you get to security, and will save you the hassle of getting in line twice!"
