If you are 5ft 5 and above person, I honestly would suggest you buy extra legroom for comfortable purposes. Also, there is like 1 restroom on the whole plane and if you sot at the end, you are screw. Lets not forget that they delayed our flights like 4 hours and only gave us 1 voucher for snack. I don’t expect the experience will be fancy but this is a total disappointment!"

Miinukset: "There are way too many announcements that interrupt the viewing and listening of entertainment. In lieu of announcing redundant information about customs, the weather, arrival time, safety, etc., why not offer that as information that can be provided on the screen and in the primary language of the listener so everyone isn't forced to listen to the same lengthy message twice? I'm sure the Lufthansa Customer Service Dept. has and is considering other alternatives, I'm just reiterating the obvious."

Plussat: "They didn't charge me for my surfboards which was great. It was my only check-on bag and under two meters and that should be free on every airline. Flight attendants were very nice and professional. I gave the food 5 stars based on other airline food, I'm not expecting restaurant quality at 37,000'. Movie selection was adequate for me, although I've seen some complaints in the reviews here."
Miinukset: "It was a little tricky checking in on my phone. The check email reminder didn't carry the info I needed to check in which required extra searching and copying and pasting. That experience could be streamlined. There was group confusion when being directed to board the plane on two flights."
Miinukset: "I had a business class seat but it was really more like premium economy for other airlines, but with lower quality. Food, especially for business clsss was not very good. The person next to me flies with them often and pre-requested gluten free but they didn't have anything for her. The seats were not clean with a leftover tissue and apple core from a previous flight. Lufthansa is now my last resort option when flying to and from Europe."

Furthermore I couldn’t use the check-in kiosks because my name was listed as Reidmr instead of Reid, which meant that my boarding pass did not match my passport. Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

Miinukset: "Aeroflot and Finnair systems are not talking to each other good enough. Aeroflot system was not able to see my status and perks with AA, member of the same Oneworld alliance as Finnair. So, it took extra time at the check in to explain, convince and get my extra luggage free perk."

Miinukset: "Plane was placed far away in the airfield. Buses were taking people and were waiting to be filled. Doors of busses were open, it was cold outside. Priority and non-priority were waiting in the buses outside. Long ride through the field , letting taking off plane to go first. Bus by bus was bringing new portions of passengers. Plane departed late."

Miinukset: "Boarding process was not well-organized. Specifically, there was no announcement of the boarding starting or continuing. You just had to know when it's supposed to start and show up at the gate. Boarding is general, without any division by rows or groups, which means people in row 6 and in row 20 board at the same time, creating a long line. This slows down the boarding process and causes frustration in less patient people."

Plussat: "Crew was exceptional! Flight was comfortable. They provided slippers, a blanket and pillow for everyone. 2 meals and a snack for our 12 hour flight. Entertainment was varied and good. Overall great flight!"

Plussat: "I gave it a 10 as the flight itself was very good, as have been all of my Aeroflot flights. More comfortable seats than most airlines, attentive and kind stewardesses, a very good flight, and good food. They even pass out sleep masks, slippers, and have personal toothbrush and toothpaste kits available in the bathroom. Much better than most American airlines."
Miinukset: "However, the ticketing and boarding personel at JFK are no longer the former polite and efficient Russian-speaking staff, and I wonder if this is a forced change due to JFK union rules? They are now native New Yorkers of various ethnic groups, like random JFK personnel, but not one of them ticketing us in the late evening spoke Russian! I saw several Russians struggling to try to get them to understand ticketing problems, and one older woman burst into tears, thinking they were telling her she couldn't get on the plane. The woman at the desk just coldly held up her hands in an X, gesturing her to get away. Please go back to the native Russian-language speakers. I didn't know if these were really Aeroflot employees, so didn't give a low rating as the flight itself was great. Also, when they lined us up to get on the plane it was four lines, with no instruction and no signs, even in English as to what the lines were for-- we were simply lined up like cattle, and after shoving me from one line to the next, with no explanation, even in English, finally herded us on the plane. It was a dehumanizing experience."

Miinukset: "I had problem with entertainment system because I could see any images on the screen and they couldn't fix it. For 12 hours flight it was not fun."

Miinukset: "The crew had no smile, neither a hospitable attitude. The food in the second meal seemed stale. I did not finish the meal for fear of getting sick. The entertainment system was the slowest I have ever used in my life. The glass holder for my seat was broken. It took me 7-8 times calling assistance that someone finally came, which took at least 40 minutes. And last but not the least there was water dripping on the passenger next to me."

They got everybody onto the bus with no air conditioning and made us wait standing for 20+ minutes until the very last passenger got on the bus packed like sardines in a can. Than we rode on that bus all the way around the landing strip to the other side of the field. Seats on the plane could use a little more padding for backbone support. Crew could be a little more inviting and smile once in a while."

An agent met us with our boarding passes printed and gave us an expedited slip that allowed us to get through the lines faster. Because of that we made it to our connecting flight."
Miinukset: "The airlines lost our luggage at the end of the flight. Because of this we had to stand in line and subsequently missed our bus home. The next one came an 90 minutes later. The luggage has been gone more than 24 hours already and still not returned."

Miinukset: "Our flight left late causing us to miss our connection in Moscow. Because of the missed connection, we also missed at least a half day of being able to tour and enjoy Barcelona. Additionally, the flight attendants were not very friendly. The one person who seemed helpful was the woman at the Moscow airport who allowed us to use the phone to contact our hotel in Barcelona to let them know we would be arriving extremely late."

Miinukset: "Boarding process was in fact dangerous, with people corralled into small spaces without letting them out on the other end. We felt claustrophobic, crushed, and at one point people were even having to jump over the escalator to the bus loading area because there was too much crowding. Dangerous"

Miinukset: "The queue for the check-in / bagagge drop-off took almost an hour; only towards the end a second regular counter (besides the premium) was opened."

Miinukset: "I was in seat 35G. The space under the seat in front of me was very small, and it was nearly impossible to get to my bag when the person in front of me reclined. Also, the young boy sitting behind me was kicking the seat throughout most of the flight. Not your fault, but it was pretty crappy."
Miinukset: "We didn't select our meal option for vegetarian because the last time we did we ended up with a horrible, horrible, hockey puck like dry food option. We assumed there would be a cheese pasta option, as there usually is, well we were completely wrong. Both options were meat, even the salad had meat in it. So we got a roll with butter, a tiny fruit, and a disgusting wet dessert. Even the breakfast was meat and cheese. I got online to select our meal option for our return trip, and the options are out of control. We have a lacto-ovo-vegetarian option, whatever that is"
Plussat: "In flight crew is really nice and respectful, seats were comfortable, clean bathrooms, in flight entertainment is good."
Miinukset: "Boarding at Lisbon airport was one of the worst experiences. Passengers were asked to line up at least 30 minutes before boarding started and it was hot in the terminal. As boarding started, passengers were split into groups by boarding zones...premium passengers boarded first as expected, then people with small bags. This is where the problem was because a group of four passengers who had one small bag (that could fit under seat) were allowed to go before passengers in boarding zones A/B. The whole idea is people who could fit bags under their seat would board first, but the tap team made a mess and allowed many passengers with large bags in as well. I was one of the last ones to be boarded and stranded on the line for over 40 minutes with my backpack...after traveling for a month and being delayed in Rome, last thing you want is stupid mistakes like this to cause you stress."
Miinukset: "the ground personnel were not nice. They also did not seem to know what they were doing. Inconsistent communication. No patience with customers."
Plussat: "There is enough space between seats. Good selection of movies."
Miinukset: "Luanda personnel refused to check luggage lad to mxp even when the other flight was also TAP. We had to pick up luggage and recheck in LIS."

Miinukset: "TAP Airlines stranded us in Lisbon. They were late flying us from Vienna to Lisbon and then canceled our seats on our connection to JFK. Instead, they rebooked us on the next day's flight a full 24 hours after, refusing to rebook us on earlier flights on other carriers. Their customer service was as bad as I've ever experienced. Multiple agents admitted their company is terrible and doesn't care about its customers. The indifference to our situation was surreal. Lesson learned."
Plussat: "You can charge your devices (only in one plains from London to Portugal)"
Miinukset: "Cabin crew were far from welcoming when dealing with the African passengers (including me though I'm Spanish) the food was a disgrace On a 5 hour flight to Accra there was no entrainment, the chairs were incredibly uncomfortable and you could not even charge your devices... The food arrive way too early. I believe the airline has put less of an effort on these planes due to the nature of the passengers... I have been traveling for 20 years and I never felt so disappointed by an airline... I will not use this airline ever again"

Miinukset: "The boarding process. It was slow, disorganized, didn't take off on time and some people were rude including the searching process that I enter voluntarily because nobody directed me. I when you schedule a flight you should try to take off on time because it can be disruptive for everyone. And when you sell discount tickets at least say you are going to charge 45 dollars for the bag... i wouldn't purchase any discount offer"
Miinukset: "Purchased tickets that included one bag each for our international flight. But at ckeckin they "couldn't find it in the computer", so charged 45 Euro ($50) per bag. The checkin lady was quite distraught about this, but charge they did. In our reservation there is no indication of what fare level (they have about five) has been purchased. Beware!"

Miinukset: "They were lying about a supposed compensation for denied boarding which was supposed to be handed out in Lisbon. I didn't expect this behavior from grown up people, and such a company in Europe. TAP should be excluded from star alliance."
Plussat: "The only airline that makes me feel like a human being and not a piece of baggage. Very comfortable seating with good legroom for tall people like me. Attendants treat you with respect and are responsive to requests."
Miinukset: "Gate number was different from what was on my ticket and the tv screen at the original gate didn't indicate where the new gate was supposed to be. Don't need that kind of stress when traveling!"

Plussat: "Friendly service, with the exception of having to request a drink repeatedly (i finally gave up, got up and went to the back of the plane myself for water). Despite the tight connection times, made each flight and luggage came out quickly."

Plussat: "TAP counter staff helped get seat assignments for knee injury. New aircraft with good video system and comfortable seats in Economy Plus. Crew was helpful. Food OK. Arrived on time."
Miinukset: "Not TAP's fault, but long lines at customs and security at Lisbon Airport made us run to arrive at gate for next flight. Again, not TAP's fault, but additional security check at the waiting area, opening carry-on baggage and emptying my purse seemed over the top."
Plussat: "Once we were boarded, everything went fairly smoothly. The cabin staff are not rude, however they are just there to serve food and drinks, and are totally uninvolved and unwilling to enforce any rules."
Miinukset: "TAP is notorious for delaying departures, and both times I have flown with them, the flights have been delayed at least an hour. Their boarding procedure is also unorganized and often frustrating. The food is terrible. Don't eat the beef stew with Madeira sauce. It's like dog food."

Miinukset: "My entertainment system at my seat kept freezing. Would have used it throughout the flight but was only able to watch one movie. Reset attempts occurred but eventually I gave up."
Plussat: "We were shuttled to the plane then the plane wasn't ready, so the bus took us back. We just stood on the bus by the gate for a good 20min. Then went back to the plane again. This time it was ready for boarding. I don't understand why they took us if the plane was ready. Once we were there why did we go back to the gate again?? Get it together TAP. My first and only experience and it wasn't a good one."
