I just filed a claim and got rude service saying I should have filed the claim at the airport baggage area but there was not anybody there to do the claim then he agent upstairs said they just spoke to them and they are there and I should have done it there. This was so rude and there is no way to get back into customs area. If we paid 200 for bags I expect them to arrive on time. I’m asking for a refund of the baggage fees."

Miinukset: "The plane wasn't refueled and so was not ready for take off once the passengers were loaded. The plane had a technical problem when it tried the first take off and so it had to be abandoned. This was alarming.."

Miinukset: "I paid almost $400 for upgraded seats. When I got to the airport-- no seats-- both ways!! i didn't even have regular seat assignments. I had to choose from the last few seats available. The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

No hay un teléfono a donde hablar, la web está desactualizada y con información equivocada. Direccionan a usar canales de twitter y facebook que no responden. Primer experiencia en KLM y no pienso nunca más usar esta aerolínea. Llevar el equipaje o resolver un problema sobre valijas es de lo más básico de una aerolínea y no lo hacen."
Miinukset: "The Guy who had an accident when boarding causing a delay. Also I didn’t like the wait fir checking as passengers with children went before business class and should be after."
Plussat: "Staff both at the airport and in the plane were professional and welcoming. Depsite short distance sandwich and drink were offered."
Miinukset: "Nothing to be honest . All positive."
Plussat: "I was pleasantly surprised they had a snack service on such a short flight. The flight attendants were very friendly"
Miinukset: "Amsterdam customs is the most disorganized I have ever seen. With the number of tourists entering the country you would think they would have done something about it. There were only 2 customs agents!! One for all passports and 1 for all passports. We were in the customs hall longer than we were in flight!"
Miinukset: "Per usual, KLM can't seem to figure out the order of boarding the plane. Should be business - priority - everyone else. Instead they do priority first, and that's usually two-thirds of the passengers. Strange choice of in-flight movies; no accounting for taste, I guess."
Plussat: "The crew service is impeccable. Ground services very friendly and professional."
Miinukset: "The seats are very uncomfortable. The individual screens are simply outdated like you basically will damage your eyes looking at them. No chargers for phones."

Plussat: "The crew were really helpful since I am a short person in putting my luggage away in the overhead compartment and attentive to everyone's needs. I am a fussy eater and don't really like airplane food but the food was actually really nice. We was given plenty of snacks and drinks in between meals as well. There was plenty of programmes to choose from to keep me entertained."

Empty plane

The flight was half an hour late, which is the new normal in Europe. Friendly crew.

Questionable leg room for tall people in economy

Baggage never made it to Frankfurt so which sucks when taking a European vacation. Luggage showed up three days later.

Miinukset: "Delayed 20 minutes out of Denver, and when I arrived at my connecting city in Munich I was immediately told I would not make my connecting flight due to customs lines and to reschedule. I walked 5 minutes to customs, no lines, walked another 5 minutes to my gate, and easily made the connection."

Miinukset: "I felt duped by Lufthansa by the so called business class, where my legs barely fit, there was no entertainment, and there was no real difference at all from economy except for not having a person in the middle seat. It was equivalent to economy plus at best, but charged at business rate."
Miinukset: "Giving economy seats with the middle seat empty does not make it business class. Very uncomfortable seats. No recline and very hard."

Miinukset: "App or website didn’t work for check in. Lines at the airport were very long. The flight was over booked so I didn’t get a seat until at the gate. Overall too much hassle. Food options in the plane were horrible for vegans/allergies"

Miinukset: "We were able to upgrade to a business class seat (row 1) just 2 days before the flight since we had put in a bid a month before to do so if it was accepted. Honestly, the seat DID NOT EVEN RECLINE, NOR DID IT FEEL VERY SPACIOUS! I felt very taken advantage of to only have access to that part of the plane giving us more leg room for $200 upgrade for each seat. When does a Business Class seat NOT recline??? At least my flight attendant was kind enough suggesting that I let the airline know about my unhappy experience."

Plussat: "Premium economy seats make a huge difference in terms of comfort. The Vegan pre-selected meal was way better this leg of the trip than the LAX to FRA trip. Entertainment was good too."

Plussat: "Easily the most comfortable I've ever been in TATL economy. Lufthansa's 747-8 is set up strangely: the main deck is arranged First - Business - Economy - Prem. Economy - Economy. This means that if you can book a seat in the forward economy mini-cabin, you get dedicated cabin crew, no other passengers walking through your space to get to the bathroom, plenty of bin space, and – best of all – a lot of aisle space to stretch your legs. Row 16 aisle seats are especially good, as the bulkhead between J and Y doesn't extend all the way, and therefore you can stretch your feet out. Food was actually excellent (for economy), hot and flavorful and generous, with snacks available mid-flight. Beverages also tops – gotta love Lufthansa for offering Campari (!) and more than one wine choice."
Miinukset: "Entertainment (music and movies at least) was up-to-date but not very interested. Boarding and transit security in Frankfurt was anxiety-inducing – between getting to the US departures area and additional screening, it took more than an hour from deplaning to getting in line. Boarding w/o group numbers was an exercise in patience. And the terminal wifi is so spotty!"
Plussat: "Flew business class. Service and food were excellent!"
Plussat: "The Lufthansa crew in Nigeria airport are not friendly at all...expecially there crew supervisor."

Miinukset: "I had to run from Terninal A to Z to make this flight since our first flight was delayed arriving due to weather. As a result, my luggage didn't make it to my destination."
Miinukset: "I made seat reservation in the internet and the LH agent change it"
Plussat: "Individual entertainment center with multiple video options, documentaries, old and new movies."
Miinukset: "The entire Economy and Economy + had to walk to a section in the middle to use few toilets, instead of having the restrooms spread out. This resulted in a long line and awkward waits facing 10 more people in a very small space. The blanket was not washed well, had long blond hair on it. The temperature was very cold."
Plussat: "Great service and flight crew"
Plussat: "Professional, friendly, helpful staff in a new, quiet plane (A380-800). Smooth landing. Easy disembarkment despite approximately 500 passengers from a large aircraft."
Miinukset: "Unreliable domestic Lufthansa flights (in Germany) connected to this international one, and the departure time history for this LH400 proved typical for this flight, which ultimately left nearly 2 hours late despite good local weather. An announcement cited technical difficulties with the originally scheduled plane. Several small groups we recognized from embarkation on this LH400 flight filed lost luggage claims, as we did. Uncharacteristically bad planning by LH on food choices left our rows near the front of Economy without a choice of meals: only pasta, tasty though it was, was available. The chicken option was gone. The flight status video program function did not work for anybody near us despite three equipment restarts by the crew."
Miinukset: "Do not choose this Airline by any means."

Plussat: "the two older female stewards spoke slow enough so I could understand. The customer service rep in the lobby was always friendly, knowlegeable and able to help me. For example, I did not know, when boarding, if we had to show our passports, but I asked him and we did not. I did not grasp the five levels of boarding he mentioned. I knew our group was not handicapped and we were economy, but I did not really know if we were group 4 or 5 to board."
Miinukset: "There was one female steward who made me take my carry on bag from the upper deck and store it below my seat so another lady's much, much larger bag would fit. Her bag was so large, I can't believe it met the standards. On the other hand, this procedure may be the way things work out,for the good of everyone, but it came as a surprise to me. To accomplish the task, she even asked another female to move her carry on from the rack above her to another several rows down. This lady's hair was too big for such a small plane. She talked way too fast in the first monologue. The plane seemed cheap and the sub airline had an air outlet that would not turn off and leaked with water mist. There was an air conditioner that also had a water vapor leak overhead, which my son said was a 'strip' which he could not control. We were seating in the back row. We noticed the plane was operated by Mesa airlines and the plane was assembled in Brazil, giving me a feeling of excessive cost cutting. Also, the pilot had an accent that sort of added to the 'Brazil' thing that he was not a native English speaker. However, he had a good landing at Atlanta near midnight. I did not feel I was on a real 'United' Airlines flight."

Miinukset: "The second flight they board us then left us on the bus in the parking lot for 25 minutes breathing airplane fuel."

Plussat: "Boarding was late and disorganized. Would recommend boarding by rows from different areas of the plain. Flight landed on time. Entertainment offered a wide selection"
Miinukset: "My wife developed a stomach problem from the second meal."
Miinukset: "Because of a family illness I had to reschedule my flight 2 weeks before. Because the flight was booked through a secondary company, rebooking the outgoing flight ended upp: a) costing me as much as the whole original return flight; b) was no longer a 1 stop flight as I also had to stop in Frankfurt plus the company would not allow me to choose directly, I sent them details and then they booked what they could find; and c) I lost both the outgoing flight ( which was charged) and the return flight ( which was not changed) premium seat bookings both of which I had to pay for a second time. If I had booked directly with the airline this would have cost a transfer fee and I would not have lost the premium seat bookings. This was therefore a great expense and inconvenience. I will no longer book flights indirectly when using kayak. In future I will search using google flights and then go straight to the airline sites to book. Very disappointed. I never had this problem when booking with kayak before"
Plussat: "Service was good, boarding was fast, no other issues."
Miinukset: "The seat pitch is inhumane. I could barely fit into the seat without hitting my knees on the seat in front. And that was before the person ahead of me reclined. It's not like Lufthansa is a budget airline. It's a full-fledged major carrier charging full-fledged prices. Seriously, I was expecting more."
Plussat: "Crew worked hard to make the journey pleasant, including the second crew for my connection to New York JFK, a much longer flight. Even some of the food was edible."

Miinukset: "We had to cancel our tickets due to passport issue. They could not find acceptable new tickets. Plus additional money to pag was too much"

Plussat: "After domestic US flights where even gingerale can cost $2, it was wonderful to be fed two meals and taken care of. Even in economy, the seats felt comfortable."

Miinukset: "Food. For a 2-hour plus flight, from 11am to 1:30pm, we got 20gr pretzel sticks. This is ridiculous. Don't pretend you are not low-cost! Formerly, before the Joon failed (thank God) venture, Air France had real sandwiches around that time of the day on that line."

Plussat: "Fly was delayed.i was told my bag would go to end but it was not.instead of coming to the hotel 7pm i came 1am."

Miinukset: "My connecting flight to san francisco was through Delta, which it was on a different terminal, I had to carry my luggage out of the airport in order to get to delta’s terminal - the buildings are not connected."

Plussat: "The flight departed on time and arrived early. The crew were all courteous and kind even to the man who was sitting next to me who seemed quite demanding."
Miinukset: "I am small but the seats seemed a bit too tight. The plane itself seemed a bit outdated."

The world is at the customer's fingertips, let their first choice be Delta. When their are bad days, customers will understand"

Miinukset: "The fact that you cheapskates don't allow credit or refund is downright usury. I didn't take that flight because of medical issues that caused me to cancel my trip 2 weeks in advance. I pleaded with you to be able to take a credit, to no avail. You lost a customer."
Plussat: "Flight attendant Ms. Sophie Picard made every extra effort to try to find a meal when they had run out of Business Class meals. She made up for the uncomfortable seating in Business Class."

Miinukset: "Plane was canceled at the last minute with a transfer desk literally assaulted by 100s of people. Only 3 persons on the desk. No lane for sky priority. Queued for nearly two hours before some airport employee gave us instructions to travel by train without any other information or tickets etc. Had to buy my ticket. Couldn’t recuperate my suitcase. Had to wait for it the next day for three hours. Up to this hour I don’t know how I am going to be reimbursed (train and plane)."
Plussat: "Comfort, food and service are better than average."

Then they announced anyone on our flight needed to go to s different line to check in as we were nearing boarding time. In the rush we lost a jacket and no one from Ryan Air. Could care less. Not one smiling face! Awful!!!"
Miinukset: "Have one line for check in and then passengers can check in in order- quite fair! There was someone with a problem at the front of our line and we were dtuck there for over an hour!"
Plussat: "It is a cheap flight. I don’t espect first class. The ride was smooth, the flight was cheap, the cabin crew were friendly and it wasn’t horrendously dirty."
Miinukset: "I had to print the boarding pass on my own, cannot get it at the airport. Also the fact that they delay in telling you where the gate is and then it is a 10 minutes stride to get there."
Plussat: "I like nothing about this airline."
Miinukset: "No check in email reminder is provided. Had to wait in 3 different lines to print boarding pass, check in, and find out if your bag fit airline restrictions. We were charged 68 euro each to print boarding pass. The airports credit card machine was down and we were forced to go to an ATM and pay in cash. The carry on size restrictions are ridiculous. Your bag will be marked as too large (at a 50 additional euro charge) if it sicks out by 1 inch thickness wise, even if it fits into the box provided. Horrible experience and I will never use this airline again."

On the return flight my husband was able to get his bag through and it fit just fine. He noticed mine would have fit as well. But another €55 for mine. Not much of a bargain."

Miinukset: "The flight was late and the transfer check in was closed by this time. I asked THY to help me, showed them the boarding of Ryanair and they did it. I will newer use the Ryanair for the internal flight. It is better use the train and take more time rather be late."

Then we all crammed into buses to Rome for a 3 hour drive. Then did not compensate for the lost time or lost money due to being 6-7 hours LATE to Rome! Horrid!"

Miinukset: "This airline actually charged 62 Euros, this was to print a boarding pass--and this was after I was deliberately delayed in getting one and then charged another 62 Euros at the gate because they claimed my luggage didn't fit. This was after I watched the guy before me leave with his bag that didn't fit, and I had paid for priority boarding, which was what their site had suggested when I did the online check-in, which I was charged for. In all, I paid over 130 Euros in total in addition to the money I paid for the ticket. Dispicable!!! a real rip-off!!!"
Plussat: "Crew were competent and happy, not overworked, dour or dim."
Miinukset: "Big queues to board, followed by bus transfer to plane => first ones to stand in line at the last ones off the bus to board the plane. My fault really, but why encourage people to stand in a queue for 30 mins at all?"
Miinukset: "Consider taking another airline at CDG IF 50$ more expensive. Will be worth it"

Miinukset: "Boarding time kept changing. I stood in line from 2:47 until I finally took my seat on the plane at 4:03!! If you are not checking luggage and the plane is full as was the case, you are made to stand in line because only the first 90 carry ons are guaranteed. The heat in the boarding area was unbearable. Then we proceeded to the boarding tunnel where we were made to wait AGAIN in the heat. I felt like a hostage packed into a tin can! Never in 50 years of air travel around the world have I experienced such an inefficient process. I will never fly Ryan Air again."

Not anymore. Nowadays the generic name should be very-high-cost/service-ratio airlines. They charge you way too much for the same crappy service as always. Bye, bye!"

We had to wait for another plane to land in Timisoara (from London) and they scheduled that plane to take us to Bucharest. They should be honest from the beginning instead of telling a lot of lies - it may avoid a lot of conflicts between passengers and crew."

Plussat: "Low cost, flight schedule on a route (Athens, Greece to the island of Rhodes) which fit my travel plans"
Miinukset: "When my incoming flight to Athens on Delta was postponed a day by that airline, the delay was going to cause me to miss my RyanAir flight on 13 August, 2016. Despite two sessions in on-line chat with RyanAir customer service prior to the missed flight, RyanAir refused to re-schedule me. By the time the flight was actually missed, all RyanAir flights on the following day were full and I had to book a flight on Aegean Air. RyanAir is a terrible company with an incomplete web site (no phone number for customer assistance, missing data and hyperlinks that don't work or lead nowhere), unwritten rules which are non-sensual and work to the detriment of customers, and customer assistance representatives on the on-line chat who won't do anything to actually help customers."

Miinukset: "They charge everything from water to snacks to hot food, and extremely pricy! Attendants rude and indifferent; charge 100 dollars for baggage check-in--good! More expensive than intercontinental flights!"

Miinukset: "Everything. We were stuck 3 hours on a hot plane with no air conditioning for "technical problems" and they gave us no information as to what was going on. They also charged us for water and let two people off the plane. Very terrible experience I am extremely disappointed to say the least."
