Miinukset: "Should have made an announcement that the 3g cellular coverage was turned on. Went on in the middle of the flight and had no idea. My phone was in the overhead bin and I thought it was off. When I landed I had an outrageous fee. Should be given a choice to use it or not."
Miinukset: "The crew could be a little bit more accommodating. Both flights ran short of toilet paper. They don’t conduct an intermediate check of the toilets."
Miinukset: "Not over selling the flight and making passengers stay over night. I would have loved to be home as planned"
Plussat: "Great crew. That’s about it."
Miinukset: "Absolutely horrible business class on the A330-343. Honestly, they should be ashamed of flying this airplane. They have four of these from Singapore Airlines and of course on both flights I was unlucky enough to get stuck with it. The cabin looks horribly outdated, is worn out, and smells."
Plussat: "On time, not expensive"
Miinukset: "Really uncomfortable seats, no tv"

Miinukset: "One of my checked bags never arrived. It has been a week and I still don't have my bag."
Miinukset: "2 hours late, problems with entertainment, bad service at chack-in"
Miinukset: "If you're going to charge for a checked bag on an international flight, it would be nice if you made that clear on the ticket purchase. A tiny link buried in the information section "See baggage information for additional fees that may apply" doesn't make it abundantly clear that you're going to be hit with an $85 charge each way (ultimately $380 for my wife and me round-trip). Sneaky and dishonest!"
Plussat: "food and comfort was okay.."
Miinukset: "Outbound flight - Miami check -in personal was extremely unfriendly for no reason - got charged $160 - although have not received an upgrade - the connection flight had 3h delay- resulted and 8h waiting time at the Lisbon airport after an already 10h flight"
Plussat: "Anything I liked feels inconsequential."
Miinukset: "My wife and I arrived to the airport for our honeymoon extremely excited. We had been saving for our trip to Italy for months, and we were finally going to get things started. Everything fell apart when we went to check in and we were told that my wife couldn’t use her ticket because she had changed her last name. We were told that there was no way that the name on the ticket could be changed because of TSA regulations. Of course, we were also told that we could have changed the name had we purchased a more expensive ticket. In other words, we were lied to and told the issue was regulation, when really they wouldn’t help us because we couldn’t afford a more expensive ticket. The only help we were given was the pleasure of paying over $1,500 more to get my wife on the flight. I am in the process of trying to get this refunded, but as of now we have paid twice for my wife to fly, and neither ticket has been refunded. We may have accidentally broken a rule, but the only function that rule seems to have is to make us pay twice for the same seat. As of now, I would never fly this airline again, and I would warn everyone away from it. I will update this post if TAP does the right thing by two honeymooners."
Miinukset: "Huge delay. No clear explanation what caused the delay"
Miinukset: "Without notice, we were put on “standby” line, all of the workers told us all of the flights for the remainder of the day and that we could wait by the gate all day or just “take a taxi” from Lisbon to Porto.... a 3 hour ride. Ridiculous! We finally begged our way into being squeezed into a flight to Porto. But of course our bags didn’t make it with us and they could not locate where they were or track what time they would get to Porto... we sat at the airport for hours waiting for our bag until they finally offered to deliver them at a later time, which we are still waiting. We missed a full day of our vacation to Portugal because of this situation and are still hoping that our bags will make it to our destination..."
Plussat: "It was a very comfortable flight and I love the dinner they served! Would fly TAP again."
Miinukset: "Boarding was refused at gate due to late arrival of previous flight which was also a TAP flight. No assistance to delay following flight or accelerate our deplaning even though the next identical flight was three days later."
Plussat: "Very gentle staff. Good food and service. And I will visit Lisbon next time."
Miinukset: "Too early in the morning. A better connection in Lis wil lhelp"
Miinukset: "1) I tried several times while traveling but was unable to figure out how to choose a vegetarian option for the flight. When I called customer service, after a long hold time, the woman I finally spoke to told me it was too late to order vegetarian and refused to help me. I have never flown another airline (Air India, Turkish Air, United, American, China Southern, etc., etc.) that did not make this easy to choose during booking or check-in and that did not already have a standard ovo-lacto vegetarian option on the regular menu. Vegetarians practice for all sorts of reasons, including religion and health needs. It's unacceptable to make it so difficult to meet your meal needs while trapped on a plane for nine hours. 2) The check-in agent did not know the rule about all remaining seats being opened for passenger choice three hours before booking and insisted we had to pay to get aisle seats despite one of us having a health problem necessitating her standing up and walking every 45 minutes. Then another agent told us we couldn't choose seats for free for our Porto to Newark flight when we check in for our Madrid-Porto flight because it wasn't technically three hours before the Porto-Newark departure. But how were we supposed to choose seats for the Porto-Newark flight three hours in advance if we are in an airplane flying to Porto at that time? This makes no sense. Seats should be opened for every leg of a same-day journey at the same time. The agents were unhelpful and unsympathetic. 3) This was an old plane without options to choose a film or show to watch. Instead, passengers could flip through a few channels and hope to find something of interest that was already playing -- there was no way to begin a film or show from the beginning if you landed on it in the middle of its running time. I cannot recommend TAP Portugal to any of my friends, family, or colleagues after this experience."
Plussat: "Ability to see a bit of Lisbon on the way"
Miinukset: "Baggage charges that were not shown anywhere on the website. A nasty surprise when we checked luggage. Lost wallet on plane and customer service was unhelpful."
Plussat: "The crew were kind and considerate."
Miinukset: "This was the worst flight I've ever experienced. There was an incessant, loud high-pitched buzzing noise for the entire duration of the flight (we were seated in the very back row so it was particularly loud for us, but others further up said it was bad for them too). Also, we had straight turbulence for over two hours. I've never gotten sick on a plane before, and my husband never gets motion sickness, but we both threw up (and I think several others did, too). I don't blame the crew for any of this, as I know most, if not all, of it was out of their control. However, I would be very nervous to flight TAP again due to this experience."
Plussat: "They were in such a bad mood!"
Miinukset: "The captain had fasten seatbelt on because of turbulence. As soon as it came off the crew insisted on doing the service instead of waiting for desperate people to use the restroom. They made everyone sit back down so they could serve sandwiches and drinks. There was plenty of time and they should have waited. The only time the crew smiled was when the flight was over"
Plussat: "Attendants were great throughout. Prompt takeoff. Food was good; drink service even better! Best movie selection I've seen on commercial planes. Seat was comfy. I enjoyed the flight very much and will always consider flying with TAP."
Plussat: "I asked if it were possible to change my seat at the gate and was promptly given a window seat. They were very pleasant and professional. Food was very good and movie choices excellent. Good customer service."
Plussat: "The new Business Class is phenomenal! Best seats I've experienced in a Business Class thus far. Too bad the transatlantic flight from New York to Lisbon is too short to enjoy it longer."
Miinukset: "There is nothing that I did not like, other than that the flight duration was too short. ;-)"

Miinukset: "No offer of coffee in businesss when woke up. Still 35-40 before landing"
Miinukset: "Filthy dirty airport, club and plane. No power in the seats to boot. Clown show. Never again see above."
Miinukset: "They kept us all day in the airport t to then tell us at 7pm that the flight wouldnt actually leave that day."
Plussat: "Everything was mediocre,"
Miinukset: "Seats were too narrow,very little leg room,poor choices in entertainment"
Miinukset: "We had to pay for a check in luggage fee. Then flight was delayed for about an hour. The gate number change so we had to keep on checking to see what gate it was to be. They keeping on changing the delayed time so it end up being nearly two hours before we got on the plane. I was very disappointed that we didn't get where we needed to be on time. Our hour and 45 minute flight end up just wasting time waiting for the plane. They could of at least refund our check in bag fee for the inconvenient."
Plussat: "Flight staff was great, service was top notch. food was surprisingly good, red wine included in your ticket. movie choice was good. coach seat was as manageable for a long flight. you pretty much know what your getting yourself into flying coach overseas. this was a pretty good seat."
Miinukset: "We flew thru about an hour straight of moderate turbulence but i'm guessing that was unavoidable. Checkin was a bit weird, they had a gate change and never announced it. Fortunately, i checked the board. about 6 of us had been at the other gate for a long while."
Plussat: "+ quick and easy flight + Snack was okay"
Miinukset: "- Difficult to find TAP to get boarding pass. The boarding pass is necessary for Wifi in the airport."
Miinukset: "They didn't hold the flight for a minor delay of our flight into Lisbon."
Plussat: "The flight was mostly ok minus squeezing in seats. Crew was delightful. Delay lowered my rating."
Miinukset: "Severe delay. Almost missed connection."
Miinukset: "Lobster appetizer was dry, hard, and tough. Steak dinner was prepared nicely, but of medium- low quality meat. Announcements are not heard in headphones, which in emergency situations could be dangerous. Noise reducing headphones supplier are effective in the noise reduction function, but not high quality audio resolution, with some dialogue intelligible. Business class seat wasn't a full recline as are those of most competitors, but it was comfortable. I didn't see any snack offerings that most other airlines have available between meals."
Plussat: "Big space between seats. Best screen entertainment."
Miinukset: "Food was only average. Especially fish."
Plussat: "Good planes! Entertainment is modern, food good, service great. Boarding fast, planeson time. Special thanks to TAP taking off from Boston on 12/29/16 with snow and even heavy snowing. I was lucky did hey stuck in Boston. The only weird part was that i was not able to pick seats without a fee even 24 hours prior flight."
Plussat: "I know the flight between Lisbon and Amsterdam is only 3 hours, but it could have been better. First, boarding was a mess because no one could hear announcements being made. Once on the plane, things only got worse. I'm a small person- only 5'4" and even I had no leg room! This was made worse when the seat in front reclined- very claustrophobic. There were also zero entertainment options."
Miinukset: "It was nice that they served light snacks even though it was a short flight."
Plussat: "Flight was overbooked. TAP Portugal removed me from the flight without warning (I was already at the airport, with plenty of time to spare), and is now making it nearly impossible to get a refund. Would NOT recommend flying with them."
