This is not the airline's fault but I had a crazy lady next to me who was very disoriented, who could not speak English and needed assistance. No one would deal with her! She had a little pouch with her name on it -- like a UM -- so someone knew something was not right when they put her on the flight. I bought drinks inside the terminal for this 14 hour flight but they were all confiscated at the additional security at the gate!! WTF"

We came in a large plane and had to deplane very far from the terminal onto buses, down a long set of stairs. They did not send enough buses so we waited on the hot outside stairs for about 15 minutes. It took us a full 45+ minutes from landing to get to the actual terminal. We were grateful we had a long layover or we would not have made our connecting flight!"

Miinukset: "I had a terrible experience on my flight from BLR to LAX on 12/30/2016. My flight from BLR was delayed for 3 hours because of fog. I had a connection flight from Dubai at 3:15 pm the same day and I was going to miss it. I had a flight from LAX to SFO(I had booked this separately via a domestic airlines) on the 31st at 10 am. The ground staff at BLR told me that they would put me on the 8:30 am flight to LAX on 31st. That would mean more than a 12 hour wait at Dubai airport and they informed me that accommodation would be provided. Based on this I rebooked my LAX to SFO(I paid extra for this) for the next day. On reaching Dubai I was told that I will be put on the 3:30 pm flight on 31st instead of the 8:30 am flight. That would mean a 20 hour wait at the airport. I was also given a SINGLE food voucher and told that no hotel accommodation would be provided. I was also going to miss the LAX to SFO flight which I had rebooked. I requested the ground staff to try and put me on a direct flight to SFO instead. After begging them for a while they put me on a stand by status on the 7:30 am flight the next day. I spent 12 hours in the airport. That flight was further delayed by 3 hours. When my husband contacted the customer service on 31st morning, they told him that accommodation would be provided and sent me an email confirming that. This was in the morning after I had spent 12 hours in the airport. If accommodation was available why was I told by the ground staff that all rooms were full? I also saw them hand out hotel vouchers to other passengers with shorter wait times than mine. Was it based on their nationality(I sincerely hope not but the reviews I am reading of Emirates online suggest otherwise). Fog and other weather conditions are completely understandable but the discriminatory behaviour of the ground staff in Dubai was really disappointing. This new year weekend was my honeymoon and it was completely ruined because of this trip."

However flight design is little awkward that it squeezed me, wife and our baby in bassinet seat. - We had opted for Asian veg food and was very tasty and was served hot all the time. - Many restrooms - Travel accessories - Great entertainment options."

Miinukset: "Seat selection is very constrained 48 hours before journey, even for passengers booked together on same ticket. Would strongly recommend that automatic default seating selection for passengers booked on the same ticket should be for all of them to be seated together, right from the time the ticket is paid for rather than having to individually select where each passenger sits."

Miinukset: "1. I joined at Bangalore. The staff worked strictly according to the rules. While this is good it lends itself to passenger discomfort at times. Example: I had only 1 suitcase of 45 pounds, and I had a hand baggage of 13.7 kgs, because I was carrying all my precious crystalware back to Houston. The attendant kept insisting I lighten the hand baggage to les than 7 kgs. Finally he even suggested I send the hand baggage as checked luggage. He must be insane! I had a few thousand dollars worth of crystal in that hand bag and there was no way I'd send as checked luggage. Finally, I lightened the load to 10 kgs and called his manager and I was allowed to carry the hand luggage. 2. On landing at Dubai, everything unraveled. The airport was full of thousands of stranded passengers because 18 hours ago a plane had crash-landed at the tarmac causing flight cancellations. Obviously Emirates was poorly prepared for handling this this emergency. Many of the passengers, including myself, ended up standing at the customer service counters (there were about 10 customer service stations all over the airport), and every customer station had about 500 irate passengers and 3 or 4 agents handling them. Not only that, the customers were standing in stuffy atmosphere, no fod no water for hours, many mothers were desperate with children. Emirates had no idea how to handle this situation. I caught hold of a senior police official and told him that the least he could do was to give the customers some bottled water to keep them hydrated. Within minutes, in typical Arab hospitality - many cases of bottled water showed up, followed by cupcakes and then Mango Frootis. This helped to calm the passengers down. Then there was the chaos of everyone crowding the service desk. No lines, no semblance of order. After discussion with the policeman, we installed barriers for that passengers would stand single file. One thing that was very wrong and out of our control was there were only 3, sometimes 4, persons behind the desk, attending to more than 500 stranded passengers at each station. I reckon we would need at least 20 or 30 staff at each station. I noted that at each customer depot there were at least 10 computer stations at our service station, but only 3 were manned. Also, there was no one to advise the passengers on their status, what arrangements were being made, what the status update of the situation was...... nothing. We just stood in a bunch at the customer service desk and hoped for some attention. Appalling. Emirates needs to beef up their crisis management strategies. As a Crisis Manager myself, I was appalled to see how poor their capability to respond to a crisis situation was. I have many ideas based on my experience in crisis management. If you want suggestions call me. Besides this crisis, Emirates has always been a very good airline to me. Their everyday service is impeccable and a treat to experience. Miinukset: "You need to do a better job of placing families together. I moved from my seat twice in this first flight because of poor seating choices you provided for families and young women. The first move was because a father wanted to sit next to his young son. The second was because a young women was uncomfortable sitting in a row of men. I started with an aisle seat but had to move to a middle seat through all of this. I gave up my comfort to ensure that other passengers were properly taken care of. You should only hope that others will be willing to do the same."

For a French airline I was looking forward to breakfast -- maybe some nice pastries or at least a decent croissant with jam. None such. It was disappointing. Meals were not impressive either, but the complimentary wine was good."

Miinukset: "At one point during the flight I took a video out of my window with my camera, a member of the cabin crew barked at me in French. In bewilderment I asked her in English to repeat herself and she sarcastically repeated what she had said, in French, I asked for her to speak in English (which she had done to me previously on this Paris to London flight) yet again she scolded me in French. I was left absolutely none the wiser and it left a bad taste in my mouth."

Plussat: "movies were great, watched a lot of them food, while nothing to write home about, was at least tasty and not inedible the staff was great, friendly, welcoming, hard working loved that we could have wine and snacks"
Miinukset: "we had paid for the exit row and had a luxurious amount of room. But when we tried to sleep, our fellow passengers came and stood at our feet and talked so loudly that we could not possibly sleep. They stayed there for more than an hour. Would have loved for the staff to maybe ask them to tone it down, if not move."

Miinukset: "Flight crew was so rude and had no respect for elderly people. Never seen before they were charging for simple drinking water. Flight from Dulles to Dubai was excellent but from Dubai to Sialkot totally different. Shame Emirate Airlines having double standards. You serving and respecting people coming from west excellently but terrible for poor people of Pakistan. Some of them were elderly coming from Umra on connecting flight and air hostesses were almost screaming at them. Shame Emirate Shame."

Miinukset: "One of the worst flight experience I have had. both website and boarding pass say go to terminal 2 but flight is actually from terminal 3.no offer of assistance, no offer of how to get to terminal 3 . Rude ground staff with zero ability to manage the complaint process."

Miinukset: "You van only buy food and drinks when the crew do their service rounds of which there were 2 on a flight of nearly 6 hours. 2 toilets for over 200 customers meant long queues in the narrow corridor. Staff were very rude when I asked if I could order a drink. You can pay for entertainment which is fine but you need to have wired earphones with you."

Miinukset: "The plane was very old with no padding in the seats. You could feel the back of the seat grinding into your back. Everything, including water, had a price tag, unless your flight originated from an international previous flight. During the four hour flight there was no entertainment available, wi fi was expensive, and flight attendants were practically non existent. Water......, a plain bottle of water, cost $2.00! I had to beg for a paltry cup of water that supposedly came with my flight. Fly Dubai is nothing near the service and reputation of Emerites. Other connecting airlines to Nepal are much better."

Miinukset: "Everything. I booked a flight Prague to Dubai and return with Emirates and flew Prague to Dubai on a very nice Emirates A380 800, nice seats, nice "free" food and drink profesional crew. Return was coad shared on cheap FlyDubai, bad seats, kept hitting my knees on the seat in front had to buy drinks and snacks. If I wanted a cheap airline I would have booked it. I will make sure when booking an Emirates flight if it is code shared with Flydubai I will look for another flight."

Miinukset: "The crew was incredibly rude. One flight attendant yelled at me to take my seat even after i told him the seat was wet. He insisted the plane didn't come from anywhere so it could not be wet. I showed him how it was so wet that it soaked my pants and told him it smelled like beer. He seemed annoyed i was bothering him and said he would replace the seat cushion. It took ten minutes before he replaced the cushion. When he did he threw it over the seatbelt preventing me from bucking up. I told him the arm rest and side of the plane were sticky from whatever had spilled. He ignored me and walked away. Another attendant came by and told me to buckle up before landing. I explained the situation that I did not have access to the belt to her for the second time and she rudely told me to move my seat. When I requested a new seat before the flight the first attendant told me no that was the seat I had paid for. Ignoring the fact that I had also paid for a dry seat. Now when the flight is landing my safety suddenly became a priority. Its safer to say I will not be recommending this airline."

Miinukset: "they should serve food at least one time, instead serving they are selling and it's only in Durham and connecting flight it's too long maximum waiting time should be 5 hours and I never seen any international airline who didn't serve food."
