I tried a month later but the problem was not solved. They foward any problems and inquiries to reservation center but calling the number won't find anyone to talk. Always they put me on hold for hours and never reached anyone. I have food allergy and tried to request for special meals but the option was not there under my eticket number as described in their website. They say the option may not be available because I purchased my ticket from 3rd party, not from JAL or it was code share flight. Very inconvenient. I had to skip 2 meals out of 3in leaving for Japan. I got very hungry at the end of the flight...."

The flight was apparently overbooked but than at the last minute, they gave me and my girlfriend seats separated from each other. I sat in the back, she sat in front. The tickets also had trouble scanning and kayak isn't a known agency."

The house slippers were a nice touch and we really enjoyed the large movie selection. The miso soup with meals was great! Overall really enjoyed our flying experience with jal and would fly with them again."
Miinukset: "The food for our return flight from haneda to Honolulu was definitely subpar compared to the food we had on our first jal Honolulu to Hong Kong flight (layover in narita). Also the plane was not as big and older so we didn't have the touch screen. We were quite impressed on our Honolulu to Hong Kong flight, then were a little let down on our haneda to Honolulu flight."
Kayak, the Singapore airline website and the checkin desk did not inform us of the requirements for entry to Singapore. This caused lost time as well as frustration
Cleanliness Help for boarding and sitting Food should have been better
I was very impressed with this airline. The flight was comfortable the plane was clean and the attendants were very nice. The zipper on my suitcase broke after I checked it. The airline wrapped it in plastic wrap, so it wouldn’t continue to fall apart. Every item I had in the suitcase was there when I got to Los Angeles. That is above and beyond!

The food n crew were excellent, but my TV monitor had problems n they had to move my seat. This is the second time my TV has problems, shame on the engineering crew.

On the SQ469, I occupied seat 12 A (mono, aisle-window): A lot of plastic curved walls etc. For larger persons, the result is not quit comfortable."

The starter (vermicelli) was overly salty, dry and severely undercooked. The main course was acceptable but the portion of chicken was more like side dish not main. Missing sides."

Flight stuff need to be more polite. What passenger and more experience
Economy seats are smaller compared to other long haul international flights. Entertainment was awful. No digital monitors, bad audio ( no good ear phones) and worst of all most of the movies don’t have subtitles ( image you watching with poor quality headphones with noise from flight .
Nothing you guys book me the wrong flight and I have to run around until I find my right plane
Staff was great and very helpful. But in Mumbai airport had a tough time to get wheelchair and some misunderstanding in getting wheelchair for me and for my wife. It took them almost 2 hours to give us wheelchairs

When we we asked for the third time they brushed us off with a time frame. It was extremely disappointing."

Miinukset: "With the new security rules for flights to the US, they took my water bottle at the gate during boarding. I was dehydrated during the whole flight. The small cup of water they give during the flight is not enough for me."

Miinukset: "The 777 was tired. Tray tables weren’t clean and it was fitted with seats that did not recline. Most uncomfortable!"
Miinukset: "Flight delay was not announce until boarding time. Such chaos!! at 1:00 AM. Rescheduled the next 24hrs. I was lucky to live within one hour of the airport. Next day, after boarded the plane, had to sit inside plane for 2 1/2 hours until the plane takes off. It was not a good experienced, even though they gave us a voucher for 75.$"
Miinukset: "The rush at lay over to get to the next plane. No time even for just a cigarette, before the long flight to NYC."
Plussat: "Flight from Toronto to Hong Kong was late departing due to a snow storm. Most on the flight missed connections. Cathay staff were waiting on the jetway with plans for everyone that missed their connection to Sydney. Just impeccable organisation and service."

Miinukset: "No vegetarian options at all for breakfast (was either beef congee or eggs, sausage and bacon). We were not offered any options to select meal preference during online check in either"

Plussat: "My husband fainted twice and they are so nice to accommodate my husband to the first class section so he can rest and sleep well! Amazing crew and I thank each and every one of them for their concerns and kind heart!"
Plussat: "...except the plane was dirty (dirt all over the ceiling above me, long black hairs on the pillow they gave me) and one of the stewardesses had a bad attitude with me. Otherwise it was great."

Plussat: "The flight attendants were top notch and very busy and efficacious. I was impressed that they were always so helpful, courteous, and energetic even after a 12 hour flight!"
Miinukset: "Very uncomfortable with POOR AIRFLOW, mid way in the economy cabin, next to window (seat 44k). It was like trying to breath through a straw. I asked flight attendant if they could check the air flow, and her answer was that the temperature was 23C and everyone one else had blankets. My concern was not with temperature but FLOW. SO I went to back cabin (6 rows back) and the airflow was much much better and I could actually sleep. So bottom line there is an airflow issue mid economy cabin on the central AC jets. They should address this by putting back in air nozzles or checking actual airflow on these jets. This is very uncomfortable on long flights. Not sure I would fly this jet again for this reason."

Miinukset: "Online check-in system is terrible. 2 out of the 4 legs of the flights I was unable to check-in and get a seat assigned. Then there's nothing you could do except to show up at the counter on the day of the flight. How could the system be so inflexible that we are now almost in 2017?!"

Miinukset: "The service was quite frankly bad. We felt as if we were in a forgotten zone between two curtains sandwiched between business and economy. There was no dedicated staff for premium economy and this may have been part of the problem. There were only six passengers in Premium economy yet at meal time our choice wasn't available. We were offered meals from economy as an option. Getting any service meant having to use the call button because the staff rarely popped in to see if we needed anything. I've never used the call button so often in one flight. Friendliness came across as a forced response to our queries and at times even that wasn't masked so well. Drinks were served in plastic cups instead of real glass (like Air NZ) and filled nearly to the top...practically a tumbler of wine. Not very classy. We were forced to use the economy toilets instead of the business ones (like Air NZ). Overall we felt that Premium Economy on Cathay was economy with a wider seat with the exception that the services was worse than our economy trips with Cathay. This was a huge disappointment especially when compared with the first leg of our trip with Air NZ which was outstanding. We are not keen to fly Cathay again but unfortunately we'll have to on the way home."
Miinukset: "Flight in hongkong had a 10 hour layover and I was not helped with the hotel fees. Landing in JFK my flight was delayed 3 times then finally cancelled. I was asked to go to LGA for an 830 flight to PIT. The airline did not help cover any transport fees (IT WAS $14 USD!) Seriously?! And the bags did not get changed to the other terminal. Once I got to LGA my flight was cancelled and I was rebooked for the next morning. The airline did nothing to help me with a hotel or transport, absolutely nothing. I arrived at the airport for the 12:30 flight but that was delayed until 2:30 then 3:30 then 4:30 and eventually took off at 5:30. I was given no sympathy from any of the staff I interacted with. Everyone was rude to me, I did my best to remain civil and did not at anytime raise my voice. Although, looking at other customers it seems if I had made a fit or raised my voice I would have gotten better service. Absolutely ridiculous, I am never flying cathay again."
Plussat: "The crews on Cathay Pacific set the standard by which all airlines could learn. Experienced, professional, helpful and courteous. Gentle with the elderly, going the extra mile to make them comfortable. No bickering between flight attendants, they work as a team and made my first time experience flying into another country enjoyable."
Miinukset: "Most airline food is awful. It is what it is. The fruit appears to be frozen and just thawing making it a bit tasteless. However, it is better than most while traveling within the USA."

Food could have been better. No wheel chair arrangements by ground staff. Had to walk a long distance to boarding gate

They ran out of small bottles of water, with the flight 5/6 full. I also did not like that announcements were really loud through the entertainment system. I had to lower the volume several times. The meals could be improved as well. Staff was very responsive.
My bags never arrived to Beirut.
The Layoever in ISTANBUL WAS TOO SHORT. We did not have enough time to cross the entire airport, back through security check and then cross again. It is not reasonable and not right for the airline to sell tickets with unreasonable layover times or to have a representative fast track the process.
The flight didn’t even happen.

He even passed my row and did not serce us and I had to ask the steawrd of the other aisle who was very friendly and nice. I was very desappointed by his behaviour. It was my first time on Turkish Airlines."

Instead of beginning boarding at the time printed on my ticket, like every other airline, boarding was completed and closed fifteen minutes before my ticket said they would start, so even though I was eight minutes early I was actually seven minutes too late. Turkish Airlines service desk took the evidence (my ticket) and then refused to rebook me, forcing me to pay $600 for a new flight and for a visa to Turkey just so I could exit through security to book & pay for it. They will not be getting any more of my business in the future!"

Miinukset: "Stuck in Istanbul airport for three days because of snow. The way the airline handled it was APPALLING. Second night stood in line for a hotel for over four hours only to find out at 3am that there weren't any more. And none of that captures the insanity of being sent to a transfer desk with no way out except buying a Turkish visa and going through immigration. Inexcusable. I have traveled to over 40 countries in the past 30+ years and this was beyond the pale, absolutely a nightmare, and almost all of it (excepting the actual snow delay) in the airline's control. NEVER FLY THIS AIRLINE THROUGH ISTANBUL."

We had to board next plane the next day, 24hours latet! One day of our vacation lost. Going back was no better since the plane from Manila had slight delay and we missed our connecting flight to Ljubljana for just few minutes. Disappointment again! We got home 15 hours later than we should have. Don't think we will fly with Turkish airlines ever again."

It has been a great experience traveling on Turkish Airlines, and I would suggest it for everyone."

Plussat: "I flew Paris -Hong Kong(round trip) with transfer in Istanbul and overall everything was ok. The in-flight service was great, food was very good and their fleet seems quite new and clean."
Miinukset: "Thw only aspect I didn't like was the fact that our flight from Istanbul to Hong Kong was delayed and that is not a big problem,flights gets delayed all the time. But the attitude we got from the ground staff in the airport was a big problem. We got to the customer service counter to get further information about the flight and nobody was giving us any information.Not even an apology for the fact that we waited for 3 hours in an airport at 2 AM. Everybody seemed so bored,that they barely spoke 3 words.They offered us a voucher at Burger King, but we couldn't order anything from the menu,but the simplest burger. We just expected a bit more from an airline that has somebody dressed as a chef on-board while serving the in-flight meals."

The person in front of me had his chair pushed all the way back, what the hell was the crew member thinking? I still did not move my chair and argued with the female crew. Crew members do not treat everyone equally. I asked for functioning pair of headphones and water, crew members never brought them to me. Responded by saying yes, BUT never brought it to me. I noticed crew members treated children and Turkish passengers first. I'm Chinese and flew Turkish airline- I felt the discrimination. Never traveling with Turkish airlines AGAIN."
