Instead of beginning boarding at the time printed on my ticket, like every other airline, boarding was completed and closed fifteen minutes before my ticket said they would start, so even though I was eight minutes early I was actually seven minutes too late. Turkish Airlines service desk took the evidence (my ticket) and then refused to rebook me, forcing me to pay $600 for a new flight and for a visa to Turkey just so I could exit through security to book & pay for it. They will not be getting any more of my business in the future!"

Miinukset: "A series of about 9 rows of 3 seats each row, had errors in to the monitors that normally you can watch a movie, watch news, or listen to music. Approximately 27 people could not use these monitors affixed in the seat before you. These monitors (screens) control the reading lights, the signal for the stewardess. Flight 33 on 6/30/2017 had 12.3 hours of blankness and the complaints were numerous, but the crew were of no use. I wish this would have happened to business or first class. The crew were horrible."

DFW to MN, St Paul to Schipole, Amsterdam to final destination, Glasgow. So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."

The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

We were traveling with 5 kids including an infant and we were not allowed to board until we found the receipt. I thought surely they would have record that I had paid, but I guess not. We were the last to board and all very stressed out. The staff seemed not to care the least in our troubles."

Plussat: "The passengers, the Brussels airport retail area, 1 of the flight attendants who was polite and welcoming, and the entertainment selections. Finally being connected to Swiss staff."
Miinukset: "The crew was not very welcoming and was borderline rude when I asked any sort of question such as why I was not allowed to wear my headphones prior to take off. I was patient in not wearing them, but could not relaxing into the trip for the 40+ minutes we remained on the ground mostly not moving. I was tired when boarding and fumbled with my documents and was very curtly told to just hand them over. Another time I accidentally mistook headphones the stewardess was handing out for something else. I took a pair and then immediately gave them back with an apology that I didn't realise what they were, but thanked her anyway. This was met with a scowl and a bit of opposition. There was one stewardess that was very nice and accommodating out of the entire crew. On top of this the toilet seat on the plane was broken, so it fell on you when you were trying to go to the bathroom, and the soap dispenser was broken. I didn't dare mention these things to the flight crew though. The plane was late taking off from Montreal, and so was late landing in Brussels. No effort was made to provide connections assistance, or provide directions on where to go to rebook our missed connections. I and all others traveling to Zurich spent the entire morning trying to find anyone from Air Canada to help us rebook our flights. We literally were going from desk to desk between two terminals, and consulting each other as we went to limit the amount of leg work we all had to do. We all had to finally leave the terminal area and go to Swissport and stand in a long slow line. By that time any afternoon flight was already overbooked. So I and a group of other passengers were booked for an evening flight which forced me to book a hotel in Zurich because I couldn't get to where I needed to be that evening. After being rebook, I still tried to get on an earlier flight by going directly to the gate. It was confirmed that there was some extra space available, but they would not switch me to the earlier flight because I had a checked bag that I could not separate me from. Ultimately my bag was lost which made me have to stay awake and in the Zurich airport even longer after I finally arrived going from one lost baggage representative to another, and then waiting in another line to finally fill out paperwork because my bag had never been scanned in Brussels. The Zurich representatives were very polite, helpful, and efficient compared to anyone I encountered in Montreal, or Brussels. I was without my bag for 3.5 days of what was supposed to be a 10 day trip. My trip was reduced to 9 days because I spent an entire day in the Brussels airport and then had to spend the night in Zurich. I arrived in Zurich on Saturday night, and received my bag on Tuesday afternoon. All in all it was not a good experience until I got to Switzerland."

Miinukset: "After landing in Newar. One had to exit into the terminal and in order to connect, I had to go through TSA again, and the line was way too long. I had 2 hrs between flights and was able to make the connection, but I'm not sure if I only had one hour... I would have probably missed my connection."

Plussat: "The flight attendants were very nice and helpful. When they passed out dinner my husband and I were asleep, we woke up when they were serving drinks (right after). They got us our food. On our flight over however we didn't get options on food since they had run out. The flight crew was nice though."
Miinukset: "Unbeknownst to either of us the Air Canada Rouge is a low cost carrier international flight. It didn't have a player in the seat, or even old school TV's. You had to use your own device on their WiFi which was SLOW and the sound went out. The seats are small with very little leg room. I'm 5'1 (156cm) and my legs almost touched the seat in front of me. Also the airport was the biggest hinderance of getting to the gate and the airplane. After customs, to get to our gate we were told to wait in another line while they went through nearly every passenger again... And checked bags. Since it was taking so long they would let some go through without checking them. It was strange to say the least. We eventually left the gate late but made up for it in the air."

Miinukset: "Air Canada flights are always delayed. The crew is rude and usually not helpful when asking for something. In addition, when I bought the ticket I was asked if I spoke English because I was sitting in the exit row; however, the couple sitting next to me obviously did not speak and they let them stay there anyways."
Plussat: "The counter employees as well as the people who helped me navigate the airport ( I am disabled) were very helpful."
Miinukset: "The crew on the plane seemed very overburdened and somewhat annoyed by passengers. Maybe they were having a challenging day. I don't know. I didn't even want to ask for a glass of water."

Miinukset: "Our flight was over an hour late getting to the airport in Morocco and when there we were left standing in the jetway after scanning our tickets for a good 30 minutes. The flight was so delayed, many of us missed our connecting flights and had to be issued later flights. I was originally booked to fly out the next day, which would NOT have worked out but was booked instead for 5 hours later. I stood downstairs for 2 hours trying to find my baggages, however, they never came where they were supposed to come out and I received 3 different answers on where they were. "They're at carousel 5," "you don't have to get them they will be checked to your final destination," no they're at carousel 3, so you can grab quickly and recheck upstairs." My bag wasn't at any of these places. I finally found a nice air Canada agent who took the time out of his day to actually go to the back and check on my bag to which he returned 10 minutes later with it. It was just "circling around back there" with nowhere to go. Had I not been persistent, my bag would not have made it to my final destination. I wish the story ended there but it does not. After a 5 hour wait, I sat at my gate which continued to say "American Airlines" I asked the gate if United Airlines flight was still leaving from there she just stated she "had no idea" frustrated, with no gate to go to with a flight leaving in 1 hour nobody seemed to know where our new flight was boarding. After 3 gate changes we were finally able to board our flight to D.C. I am sorely disappointment in both Air Canada and the YUL system. This would be my second time flying this way and both times I have had issues. It's too bad. I do not plan on doing so again."

Miinukset: "The staff are barely polite and do not really care about the passengers. No smiles, Not friendly or welcoming. We trwveled in US last month.. What a difference in attitude. The food was awful, bordering in inedible. (example salad was cold canned corn with shreds of cabbage and no dressing.) Breqkfast was a piece of bread with choice of orange or tomato juice. No tea or coffee. They lost one of our bags, no apology and another company handled the search and return. No reason given to leave it behind. baggage and carry on rules are complex and complicated, and you never know when they will decide to enforce them and penalize you. If you can get there any other way don't go Air Canada."

Miinukset: "I haven't been on a plane with no tvs in more than 10 years. The least you could do is let people know prior to boarding. Like when you purchase the tickets or 24hours before!"
Miinukset: "Flight was 45 min late leaving & I only had 1 hr between the next flights. Because Winnipeg is a small airport, I just made the next connection but no time to go to the restroom."
Miinukset: "Misinformation and poor scheduling caused us to miss connecting flights both ways! Luggage was delayed for 2 days. Flights were late and cramped. I had to buy one way ticket on another airline or be stuck in Montreal for 3 days."
Miinukset: "They boarded early while our connecting flight was late. They told us they could not allow us in even though we arrived 1 hour before. Had to purchase all new tickets."

Miinukset: "Not enough food for passengers on board. Flight attendants were visibly upset, rude, unable to handle the passenger load, uncommunicative when problems arose."

Miinukset: "do your self a favor and find a different airline. When i got home and talked to others about my travels the said " what did you expect, i wont fly air canada" I wish i would have know before i booked my flight."
Miinukset: "on march 13/ 2016 booked my tickets on kayak.com so end up getting it with vayama.on july 28 missed my flight for a family raison called vayama and explained the situation they said they will help me just they need to confirm with the airlines (air canada) and they will give me new tickets.no body called me back ,called air canada said: we have ticket but you need to get it from vayama.called vayama again he said sorry about that i will let everyone know and he promise me that i will get help a.s.a.p.did't hear from them left with my wife and two kids in morocco for a week end up buying new tickets from laufthansa."
Plussat: "The Air Canada agents and staff were very helpful and accommodating to the best of their ability. I hugged one female AC Agent in TO as she was so kind and helpful, and told her she was the highlight of my day."
Miinukset: "The processing of Air Canada passengers to the connecting Gates and through Customs for USA international flights was a nightmare. It was very disorganized, with hundreds of passengers herded like cattle, poor communication, customs slips not provided on the AC Flight before landing so as to be completed in advance. There was staff shortage, and not done in a timely manner so as to make your connecting Flight. It has truly been a most stressful experience for me this and each time I have to go through Toronto to make a connecting flight , and I will avoid this flight plan in the future at all cost."

Miinukset: "Non weather related cancellations of 10 flights to the US and every other flight was delayed by a minimum of 2 hours. Many flights were delayed by hours then cancelled later on. There was no explanation from the staff. Also, one of the door fire alarms kept going off every few minutes and it was never fixed but eventually shut off. Very unreliable air carrier."
Plussat: "The plane wasn't too bad; comfortable and plenty of movies to choose from; the only thing headsets and volum didn't work as well."
Miinukset: "Airport was a complete mess; I would say I will never fly out of Rome. Air canada wasn't too bad here since we didn't run into any issues with rebooking flights"
