Frustratingly got placed in the last row with a teenage kid who was not mine and fell asleep on me. When I tried to push him off of me his glasses fell off his face and behind the chair. He seemed too dazed to crawl under the seat to get them so I had to do it. So cold and so uncomfortable. Fortunately just a short flight.
The flight didn’t even happen.

Miinukset: "On my ticket, it said Philippine Airlines and there was no terminal mentioned. It's a good thing I didn't go to the Philippine Airlines terminal, which is in NAIA 2. I went to NAIA 1 because I checked the airport website beforehand. Once I was in the airport, people weren't sure if the flight mentioned in my ticket was the Turkish Airline flight because it said Philippine Airlines on my ticket. I also couldn't do an online check-in."

Instead of beginning boarding at the time printed on my ticket, like every other airline, boarding was completed and closed fifteen minutes before my ticket said they would start, so even though I was eight minutes early I was actually seven minutes too late. Turkish Airlines service desk took the evidence (my ticket) and then refused to rebook me, forcing me to pay $600 for a new flight and for a visa to Turkey just so I could exit through security to book & pay for it. They will not be getting any more of my business in the future!"

Same dry or overcook pasta and dubious meat. So on my profile (i am an Elite frequent flyer) i ticked that I prefer a special meal (sea food).. which is never available. So they apologize and promised they will make a commercial gesture that... never came."

Plussat: "This was my first time flying with Turkish Airlines, and I had a great experience. I travel internationally a lot and it has been by far the best airline I have been on. I love flights that give you a hot towel when you arrive, so that was a big plus in my book. The flight stewards were so helpful both on and off the flight. The food was delicious. Movie selections were freat ad well."

Miinukset: "The crew was inefficient: delivering coffee one cup at a time and not even offering it to everyone. I had asked a flight attendant for a glass of water and was never brought water until I asked someone else. The check-in personnel and flight attendants seemed to have no knowledge of toddlers traveling with a carseat, so I had to explain to them that he travels with his carseat or he manages to get out of his seatbelt. They made some calls to see if it was fine to bring the carseat onboard and finally gave us the ok, which we were very grateful for. When it was time to board and also to exit the aircraft it was a very slow process...much slower than usual. Most airlines have you boarding 30 minutes prior to your flight, but we were still standing around waiting."

Miinukset: "For long flight over 13 hours, for main meal, the choice was only between 2 meat-meals. (1) Beef or (2) Chicken I was rather surprised and almost shocked that they did NOT have a option for vegetarian food. For any airline not to have any veg option in their main meal was I thought, fairly inconsiderate. The vegi food can be of any style - Turkish, Chinese or what ever. ."

24 hour delay due to a crew member arriving 1.5 h late. People clapped for this? Obscene. Will never fly delta again. A simple error could have been resolved by holding connecting flights for 15 minutes. But no, not enough passengers to cross the 8-10 person threshold. Lost $800 due to this malfeasance. Never flying delta again.

KLM blamed the fog at Manchester but to be honest most other flights seemed unaffected. Put up in an IBIS hotel and fed substandard food and shitty hotel room with an Aircon unit that clunks into action every 30 seconds keeping me awake. It's external so I can't switch it off. Being given a 10 Euro voucher for food at the airport when most food and a drink will cost you 12 to 15 euros."

The plane had a delay of over one hour. We were boarded and until they fixed some technical error we were in the plane without air conditioning, in Catania with an outside temperature of 38 Celsius. So everyone can imagine that we were boiling in the airplane. 🙁

Then you will be charged if you want to pick a seat or carry on a bag. You will be put on a bus to get to the plane then climb stairs to board. It takes forever to claim your bag."
Miinukset: "I booked a flight using Kayak and did not receive a confirmation email with boarding pass. When I arrived to the airport they said that because I didn't have a boarding pass they need to print it and charged me 50 euro. I felt that this was a scam for Ryanair to make money off their customers. They said it was Kayak's fault that I did not receive a confirmation email. Then after my flight left, an email came. I want a refund of 50 euro."

Also, according to the gate staff my husbands bag ,which was smaller than mine, required a baggage fee as did mine. €110! On the return flight my husband was able to get his bag through and it fit just fine. He noticed mine would have fit as well. But another €55 for mine. Not much of a bargain."

Plussat: "I don’t need anything fancy for a short flight. Low cost, safe travel is the primary goal, and that’s what we got. The ratings chart doesn’t allow you to choose N/A but there was no food or entertainment for me to rate anything, and for such a short flight, it wasn’t needed anyway."
Miinukset: "Baggage fees are too high. €40 for one bag, each way? Too much. €20 each way is more reasonable, in my opinion, especially when standard international carry-on bags are not allowed. So for one bag for a family of four, we had to pay €80 and still had to buy a carry-on bag that was small enough to be allowed, other than taking the kids’ school backpacks. Please reduce the cost of luggage if you need to maintain the much smaller carry-on bag size. Also, passengers should be directed to keep their carry-on above their own seat, and not fill the front overhead compartments if their seats are in the back. It causes a lot of confusion at time of boarding and de-planing. Some elderly travelers were unable to manage their luggage, let alone go against traffic in the aisle to find overhead space in the back when they likely paid more to have their seata in the front. Not fair at all to pay more for front seats but not have the benefits of those seats. Also, I used the online chat tool before the flight to understand the baggage fees. The representative on the chat was particularly rude. Not good customer service. I figured out what I need to know so that’s the most important thing, but there was no reason for his nastiness."

I had to pay an additional €150 and it's sad that you have to find ways to make extra money on us passenger's. Your rates are low but the extra fees cost more than the airfare. then when were ready to board they said my carry on was too big, which it was not and the stewardess wanted to charge us extra fee but when she realizes that it wasn't too big she still wanted to take our luggage because there was no room on the plane. In fact we got on the plane and there was plenty of room for our carry on I am hoping that Ryanair will do the right thing and reimburse us the extra 150 we were charged for not doing the online check-in that once again I was not aware of because I never received an email or a text as she stated I should have received. This is NOT right how you have low rates then we are forced to pay all the extras."

Finally, we did not BUY and, I think out is spite, you put us 30 seats apart I know this is an economy airline-but we had NONE of these problems with WIZZ airline. 2 people should be able to sit together without paying an extra money. Your extra charges are really ridiculous."

But, we were the only ones targeted for this additional fee (other travelers had much bigger bags, and were not charged the fee). I assume it's because we had US Passports, while the others were local travelers. Warning: you will pay low ticket prices, but they will burn you on added fees. Consider all hidden fees when comparing prices."

Then I watched bag after bag come down the luggage carousel with a "free gate checked" tag on them so apparently we were the only people chosen for the privilege of paying to have our luggage fly with us. Done with this airline."

The person ahead of me and the person behind me in the line had the same size bag and were not charged for their bags. The employee definitely had an anti-american attitude. I never want to fly on this airline again. Boarding and disembarking from the plane was like the great wildebeest migration on the Serengeti. No thank you."
Miinukset: "2 days before our flight we received an e-mail telling us to pay for our bag or we would have an excessive charge. Also, if we didn't print off our boarding pass we would pay a 17 euro fee for each ticket. It's a bit hard to print things while on vacation. This airline is LAME."

During the flight they made so many announcements and then sold many things constantly from credit cards to food, duty free. Sooooo many announcements, forget about closing your eyes. Seats don't recline either at all! Overall like a herd of cattle forget comfort."

The crew was busy promoting their merchandise - perfumes and make up, and one sturdiest keep talking on the speakers about the wonderful quality of what ever he was selling. It was a terrible flight and we finished with a headache. Besides, we were charged highly for the suitcases, being a party of 4 (parents with 2 kids) with 2 suitcases 25 kg each. shouod have bought another bag for the kids.."
Plussat: "Not organized boarding; not comfortable seats; ridiculous prices for food that isn't even good! No entertainment at all. I sugest better prices of food and better quality as well; more confortable seats and some sort of entertainment!"
