Never more flight with your company!!!
The actual flight was ok. But was a mess before departing AMS. My previous flight was late, so missed my connection in AMS. Then I spent over two hours getting things settled to get another flight. I was unable to complete my request online, and no one at KLM in AMS wanted to help. They kept giving me the run-around until I finally convinced them K was stuck without their personal help. It added a lot of stress (and about 5 more hours of transit time) to my overall journey.

Efficiency of the crew. The planes are small and outdated.
They overbooked our flight and moved us to the next day. We were unaware that our flight had been moved until we got to the check in. Even now you email us about a flight we never had. We had to pay close to 1k to quickly book another flight just to make it to our destination in time.
The most comfortable business class seat/bed I have experienced. A lot of room to stow all your stuff. And excellent food and service, to boot!

The worst new development is that you have to pay an additional charge if you want to sit together. That is pretty ridiculous for an international flight AND when you have a small child with you. I can see doing that on Ryan air, but that is pretty low for a Scandinavian airline. Scandinavians have a very strong sense of family."

I had to call the SAS headquarters in Stockholm before receiving any guidance on what to do next. All service attendants ditched the ticketing desk leaving one poor employee to answer questions for over 70 disgruntled passengers. Very very very poor communication. Luckily I was finally able to book a flight using another airline after waiting on hold for 20 minutes with the regional customer service provider."

I ended up paying 140 additional Euros for two bags. It appears that SAS's pricing is gaming the system when searching for flights or that Kayak is not being up-front about the type of fare they are advertising."
Miinukset: "since all tickets and passports are checked in advance and do not need to be scanned again when boarding, they really should start boarding from the back of the aircraft (after all the business, first-class, and priority folks) because it would really speed things up the main meal was good, but the snack was much smaller compared to my flight from Chicago to Stockholm"

There was a rep there that was trying to prevent people to getting into the line because it was sooo long (1+ hr). So we tied the machines again. Didn't work. So we convinced the guy to let us in the special line. It was nuts. We waited as our flight got closer and closer. Right when it looked like we might make the flight, one of the TWO reps left. When we finally made it, they said we wouldn't make the flight. We rebooked and had to pay extra. WORST travel experience ever."

Plussat: "boarding is different and they were talking over pa announcements at heathrow so you could not hear what to do. you go through one ticket agent to the down stairs to another ticket agent. everyone knowing what to expect crowded around the second ticket agent and there because of that forget about boarding by row or zone you couldn't get throught the crowd. plus the second ticket agent was right next to the downstairs escalator so people coming late got on before us."

I was finally able to check in online the afternoon of the flight, but no seats were left, so had a boarding pass with no seat assignment. Got to the gate and they sent me and about 25 other folks with no seat assignment to wait for a "colleague" who finally appeared after almost everyone else had boarded. I did get a seat, but I was one of the last to board. They ran out of salmon dinners, so the stewardess plopped a chicken dish in front of me--didn't eat since I am vegetarian. The stewardess did give me a free mini bottle of wine, which is normally free on Lufthansa. I am just not all that impressed with SAS. I will try to avoid them in the future."

They cancelled our tickets after missing the Porto to Lisbon leg. We had car troubles and called emailed and messaged. We were boarding after customs, Covid testing and baggage. We spent 6 hours at the airport just to have to buy full fare replacement tickets.

This makes NO SENSE and requires that you retrieve your luggage from baggage claim, and then check in once more and then another trip through security once again! This never happens in the US - one of the few things we get right. Also, I have never had to board a plan from the tarmac since 1970 in the US - why do we have to always wait for and take buses from our check in gate out to the flight line? And how is this ever considered, "Premium Boarding?" It's like a cattle car. Fix these things and I will sing the praises of TAP forever."

When we spoke to the TAP people at the gate they proceeded to tell us that they are used to this and it happens on every flight!!!!! I cannot believe that their is an airline that is so greedy that they purposely overbook their flights! It almost ruined our entire trip because we almost missed two connection flights and they did not care at all."
The delays were brutal. The Covid rules traveling through Canada was a mistake. Never flying to or through Canada ever again.

Miinukset: "Coffee costing 3 euros on flight to Venice Uncomfortable seats. My husband and I had to sit apart because airline didn't check us through from Washington DC We will not be using Brussels Airlines"
Plussat: "The airline insisted I check my bag because it was 2lbs over the weight, but it was an empty flight. We had a transfer in Brussels where some how the tags on the bags were not there and we were without a luggage for 5 days. I feel that the Venice airport claim was horrible as they seem to misplace luggage alot and on our transfer flight they fave us the wrong carousel. The service on the plane was great. But that was it."

Miinukset: "4 hour delay"
Miinukset: "Entertainment was weak. Not enough choices. There was a mixup with my food preference. it was not passed on to the flight and they did not have any vegetarian options. Not even fruits. I was even ready to pay, yet nothing."
Miinukset: "Waiting an hour and a half to check the luggage and obtain the boarding pass. Totally unacceptable. They only had a couple of agents to check a full plane and one was dedicated to business class. They said it was to save costs !! Flight was delayed and upon arrival no finger so long wait to deplane again."
Plussat: "Alles goed"
Miinukset: "The delay (due to weather) that caused me to miss the connection."
Plussat: "The food served was wonderful, as well as service."
Plussat: "Leg room seemed above average. Food was very good."
Miinukset: "Having games on the monitor is not a good idea because people are constantly pushing on your headrest!"
Plussat: "I flew on United, not Brussels, on this leg, too."
Miinukset: "We weren't allowed access to fill empty water bottles before boarding the plan. The plane made a stop at Kigali, Rwanda, where it was cleaned, resupplied and picked up passengers. It was almost 4 hrs. before we were offered water to drink. Drinking water is vital for maintaining health while travelling."
Miinukset: "Need more movies. Fly this route all the time and very little change."
Plussat: "The service was only exceptional l, there weren't too many good movies selections.overall The turbulence made made the trip worse although the whether was very.l clear. There was also a weird background noise. Boarding was terrible had to wait an hour in a long line"
Miinukset: "Lousy treatment to passengers/customers"
Miinukset: "They charged us for coffee and drinks."
Plussat: "As far as flying goes the crew where very professional, pleasant and helpful. Honestly, I did not interact with them much but they seemed to all get along well and do their work happily and efficiently. They managed a large multi cultural flight well which is likely no easy job!"
Miinukset: "Seats: Why is that head rest attachment on the seat? It's AWFUL! It forces your neck in a very bad position. You have to be tall to use it properly. There should be a way to remove it for those of us too short to use it as it was meant to be used. The food on this flight was not the worst I have ever had but it certainly was not goo either. Two rice dishes...why? Boarding seemed to be slow and a bit unorganized. Why not board by seat zones?"

The plane was filthy again
Flight was nearly an hour & a half delayed and we had to change gates at the airport with no warning and no updates the whole time we were on the plane. And then all the drinks were warm, they had no ice and no food, everything was out of stock. Terrible experience.
The flight was delayed 2h, no one to ask or to talk to, the carpet under my seat was ripped so my shoes were glued to the floor all the time and they got dirty, when I got to Edinburgh was so late I had to wait over 1h for a bus to get to Edinburgh 😑
Fast, good loads in and out, totally worth of price.
There was a good process in place for checking documents at check in..staff were helpful a bit frustrating having to wait to queue for the gate no seats..so not great for older customers or those with kids

Miinukset: "Worst plane seat of all carriers. No leg room, to close to seat in front no where to put anything , no usb charger. My local bus is more comfortable & better equipped. Same as 90% of people only fly Ryanair as a last resorts. Friend tried to down load boarding pass in the morning of flight was not able as need to be done 24hrs before. 50 euro to get printed at airport outrageous. Perhaps you could Justify £10 but 50 euro!! Why do they try so hard to rip there customers off at every turn"

Miinukset: "priority passangers can board first, but must wait half an our standing up in the corridor. I do not understand this and what the advantage is. next time, I will wait in the chairs until the last ine, because you already have your seat number."

Miinukset: "On the check in process we fell force to pay for our seats, we bought the tickets (my wife and myself) in the same transaction and paid with the same card, the check in was made from the app, both at the same and they put us apart (row 6 and row 33) when in both cases were free seats next to us."

Miinukset: "Checking opened 20 minutes late and lengthy queues through security meantwe had no time to grab food/shopping as we had to rush to gate as no notifications that our flight was actually delayed by an hour. Everyone was herded onto buses to wait there for some reason rather than at gate"
Plussat: "Quickness with the site. Easy to use"
Miinukset: "1) my first issue is that my card was charged 2x before having to run it a 3rd time to guarantee my flight. I guess Kayak and Ryanair do not communicate as easily as other carriers. 2) I was charged $50 Euro at the counter for NOT checking in. I attempted to check in numerous times, but it was not allowing me to check in. I received a booking confirmation, but never received a confirmation ID that would have allowed me to check in on the flight. I would appreciate if Kayak would have a response to this?"
Miinukset: "Late, dirty and not properly stocked..."
Miinukset: "The landing was dangerous and rough."
Miinukset: "Booked 3 flights all on Ryanair for a trip inside Portugal. The booking agent, Gotogate.com, and Ryanair left me deserted. Some error occurred and I received the same flight booking # for all 3 the flights. I discovered this when trying to retrieve my boarding pass for the second flight. Neither company fixed the problem and I could not board the flight. I ended up having to rent a car and drive to Porto (6 hours away). Neither company have anyone that can assist with these issues on the weekend. The worst experience I could have had on my birthday vacation."
Miinukset: "We attempted to cancel our reservations more than a week before our trip because my husband was hospitalized. Not with the flu or a broken arm, but a major and serious life threatening illness we are still dealing with. We provided numerous documents as proof of the absolute dire situation and they denied the request over and over again. I get that the tickets were "non-refundable" but at least offer vouchers, credit, or be totally a stand-up company and refund the tickets. It wasn't buyers remorse, trust me, we would have preferred to be in Portugal, rather than sitting in a hospital hoping and praying for his recovery."

Miinukset: "Was approached when queing and told my bag was to go in the hold, there were people that had bigger/more bags that were not told this, i understand that if there is not enough room but surely first come first serve, we stood in the que specifically that this would not happen as we were in rush once we landed and did not have time to wait for bags. There were many people behind us that got to take their bag into the cabin."
Plussat: "It got me home"
Miinukset: "Boarding was slow, seats not together unless you pay, uncomfortable seats, park up in poor location meaning you have to go up and down steps. Not good with push chair"
Plussat: "Not alot,crew was pleasent and staff in London were lovely"
Miinukset: "Small seats, uncomfortable,over priced drinks and food terrible landing.delayed"
Plussat: "The flight boarding was delayed by 45 mins originally, which was added 15 mins onto then half an hour when we were then we were all very badly moved to another area when I say very badly, we were given poor instructions and me and some other passengers almost ended up on the wring flight. After we finally got to where we were supposed to be half hour was said that came and gone then another 15 mins when we were moved back to boarding area. Another half hour finally got boarded then and after this was the usual great Ryanair experience."

Plussat: "The helpful, friendly, happy crew. The fact you get a choice of food and the crew are not run off their feet serving everyone food that is included in the flight price. Very efficient shuttle bus service between airport and destinations, again with helpful and friendly staff."
Miinukset: "Cramped seating. High cost of booking hold luggage."
Plussat: "We paid for our seats but the staff decided to move people that were separated due to Ryanairs booking system to move with us who had paid for seats. No good"
Plussat: "Prompt take-off, good in-flight service, landed 30 minutes early."
Plussat: "I needed a glass of water as soon as I boarded to take some tablets as I was starting to feel unwell. The crew accommodated this immediately and were very pleasent."
Miinukset: "Why people don't just pay if they want to sit together. It is that way now so go with it rather than main and play chess on the plane, asking people if they will change seats. Sort it out your adults. Surely you can cope for a few hours?"
Miinukset: "My wife and I was split up and ended up in middle seats of different rows and neither of us had people to either side of us. This is Ryanair trying to get you to pay for guaranteed seating the next time you travel. Ridiculous!!"
