If i wanted to buy something its in their mag and as a regional flight it should include some form of nourishment other than juice or coffee one off, tight fisted and not a descent selection of food either"
Miinukset: "The passenger sitting next to me smelled REALLY bad. Like he hadn't washed himself in weeks. Other passengers around me got a whiff too and also reacted the same. I asked the main crew member from my aisle for a seat change but he came back 10 mins later saying there was nothing else available. Later when I was walking around to stretch my legs, I saw there were AT LEAST 10 seats open in the next cabin. Why lie? The entertainment system touch-screen was not working properly and the headphones kept falling out of my ear."

Miinukset: "The food was filling, but not particularly tasty. For those seated toward the back, there was no choice. Although maybe there was no choice to begin with. Normally, on international flights, for the first (bigger) meal at least, you are given two choices, such as meat or vegetarian, beef or chicken. The food itself wasn't great. The salad was below average on both flight, from and to Chicago. So was the desert. Drinks are offered once with each meal in very small glasses. Although there is a bottle of water from the start."

Miinukset: "The flight from Helsinki arrived 2 hours late to JFK due to mechanical reasons causing some passengers miss their connectiing flights, which is quite normal in airline practice. What was not normal and supper aggravating was the fact that nobody met us at the gate to help us rebook our missed flights. We had to find an AA agent in the departure area and stand in line with other passengers who were checking in to their flight to Jordan. There was no customer service what so ever provided by Finnair."

I've had it actually happened to me before on British Airways flights too couple of times. So it's not too big of a deal. I just wish that pasta tasted better)))"

It took at least 30 minutes to get off the plane and then getting through customs was a nightmare. Arrival board at O'Hare said plane was on time, but listed gate as 0, which of course doesn't exist so our ride home had no idea what was going on or what was taking so long and ended up waiting over three hours for us to get through everything to meet them."

It seemed about average for comfort; overhead bins held my backpack easily, while I find many older planes do not. Coffee or soda was free, everything else was for sale. Attendants on this flight were very busy and very friendly. Check-in was run very efficiently. My check-through luggage arrived intact. Overall a good experience on a two-hour journey. Plane arrived about 10 minutes ahead of schedule, which is always a plus."

Plussat: "Brand new A350 business class was excellent - far better than tired old BA planes. Great IFE and food and beverage service. Excellent cabin crew aervice. Overall, thoroughly good from start to finish (Finnish?)."

It also took a very long time to get a hotel assignment because I was stuck in Chicago overnight. The finnair air agents at ohare were not very understanding or helpful. I was sent from their line to American Airlines and then back again. They were slow. We waited in the line for a long time for someone to come and help us. overall they were not very apologetic regarding the fact that I was stuck there overnight. It took soooo long to get to the hotel. I arrived there well after midnight. Overall it was a very unpleasant experience. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY FLIGHTS ARE BOOKED SO CLOSE TOGETHER. NO LAYOVER TIME IN BETWEEN MEANS MISSED CONNECTIONS! THIS HAPPENED BOTH WAYS ON MY TRIP. VERY ANNOYING"

Miinukset: "Experience was totally let down by the airport; nothing to blame the aircraft staff though. Avoid Helsinki airport like the plague for stopovers: bad signage, woeful information how to get to the city efficiently in English. HORRIBLE experience when trying to get lost property: you got to PAY for your initial email or pay top dollar just for a stupid and aggravating phone call!!! The number of exclamation marks is not exaggerated here. You can't even ask if they even have the item in their possession. Rarely had such a bad experience at an airport, and I travel a lot for work. This alone makes me think thrice about EVER getting Finnair again. Same company that manages the airport, so I'm giving this flight a bad review."

Miinukset: "I am disabled, in wheelchair & in pain. The crew in JFK in NYC carried my bag into the plane and put it in overhead bin w/out my involvement in placement. Upon departure no one helped me get overhead bag and it was left behind. I'm at a terrible loss without it. Its Large black backpack"

We are paying 3 x the price of an economy ticket, so we should have a few perks besides a more comfortable reclining seat with a footrest. I am not asking for perks that cost the airline any more money as I know this is an economy airline."

The clincher for me was that they charge by the kilo for excess baggage. I had just gotten married and we were moving my wife to Asia to live with me. We had 1 extra bag and they would not even listen to our situation. They charged me $600 for an extra bag. I will never fly Norwegian Airways again. No consideration for their passengers. The bottom line - do not fly Norwegian Airlines..."

Miinukset: "FLIGHT WAS DELAYED OVER 6 HOURS. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE NON-STOP TO ROME BUT INSTEAD WENT TO OSLO AND HAD TO STAY OVERNIGHT"

Miinukset: "here is why i am not going to fly norwegian anymore. they have a weight limit on carry ons. it's a scam. mine had clothing in it and was hardly packed tight and it went over the limit. this was an automatic checked bag fee of $60 each way. added $120 to my fee the moment i got to the airport on my first leg so much for discount airline. my 5pm flight home was delayed 2 hours.. then 3. then 4.. then no information then at 11pm the flight was officially canceled. we were given no hotels or instructions. panic'd passengers also with no real information were passing stories around. the most popular story was the flight is CANCELED YOU HAVE TO BOOK YOUR OWN NEW FLIGHT THERE ARE NONE FOR 2 DAYS! so i did. i booked a flight on my phone thinking i was stuck for 36 hours. At 1am they finally unloaded our bags off the plane. the bag that i wanted to carry on the whole time, mind you. Since there were "no hotels" according to the airline, i booked one within a few miles of the airport (airline does make it easy to reimburse for taxi hotels and food online). as I was leaving after 1am they finally made an announcement we will have a plane it will leave around 5pm and they will text us details, which was a slight relief. naturally they had no transportation for us, so another 45 min wait for a cab. I was able to cancel and get a refund on my new booking and had to trust that they would come through. ultimately they had some old plane from another airline show up that got us home as scheduled that day.. whatever. the screens were not working so that was just that extra punch in the gut. Things happen, planes break, and i certainly am all for making sure equipment is safe, but being stuck at the airport for little reason waiting for my carryon i was forced to check for a massive fee with no information until after 1 in the morning was disturbing."
Plussat: "The flight had status of delayed for 24hours due to technical difficulties. No updates were provided, except to wait while they check the issue. Given the technical issues for 24hours there should have been another plane provided for the 300+ passengers."
Miinukset: "I missed my flight waiting at the wrong gate( there was another flight to Stockholm, my connecting city, being conducted by another airline) I did not notice until it was too late. The airline neglected to offload my checked luggage, refused to do accommodate me with a change fee and now has lost my bag and has no idea where it is."

Miinukset: "I did put my initial reservation on hold which cost me $150 and to have 12 months to use my credit then I was told after 2 weeks by trying to book a different dates that Norwegian will not fulfill my credit anymore....therefore I paid $150 and then got screwed by them after collecting an extra $150....what a joke! Stay away from them... low-cost airlines are not worthy when you add all headaches. Never did I fly with them never will."

Plussat: "I flew round trip from Oakland, CA to London. This is a budget airline. You pay for anything extra. That said, the airplane was new, spotless and comfortable. The toilets were clean and well stocked with paper products. ( I have experienced quite the opposite on more expensive flights.) The crew was efficient and responsive. The plane was on time and the flight was great. Given the $700 price reduction, I don't mind paying to check luggage or bringing my own food, water, blanket, pillow, ear phones, music, sleep mask and earplugs. If you want a snack, drink, coffee or water, it can be ordered for airport prices. The snacks looked better than the food they served."

Miinukset: "Showed up to my flight an hour before and was told I was late and booking closed... was told by another airline three hours later that an hour before I was able to change my flight for another time but was never told by Norwegian airlines employee. Not only did I pay $542 for a flight home that I actually never was on but had to pay an additional $1400 to get back home and getting home the following day. I would like a refund of my $542 since I was told the wrong information and was on time for boarding."
Plussat: "We didn't even get on the plane"
Miinukset: "We arrived 15 minutes late because our previous flight was delayed so they wouldn't let us on the plane. They said we lost our ticket and the next flight is next week. Now Wer on the way to cologne Germany to travel to Orlando tomorrow. We had to pay a 1000 more Euros. We don't have money and we might get fired from our job. Wer very upset and we need to speak to management. Non of this was our fault."
Plussat: "The engine purred like a kitten. Seats, free videos, easy access to order drinks & food w tap of your finger. Friendly, courteous greets you w a warm smile. Spacious airplane."
Miinukset: "Norwegian airlines needs to tell their customers that their luggage was left behind in Stockholm. We are exhausted from the long travels & are even more pissed off when multiple customers kept waiting for their luggage. I felt even more horrible to the family that was taking a cruise the next day. Can you believe Norwegian airlines are closed on Sunday. Couldn't talk to customer service until Monday when they opened. Bad customer satisfaction;("

Miinukset: "When you purchase their lowest fare class, EVERYTHING except water requires paying a fee (even a blanket, and they keep the cabin very cool). And, they charge a $25 penalty if you don't pay to check a bag before you check-in. Check-in at their counter is required, and they weigh your CARRY ON BAGS, WHICH ARE LIMITED TO 10KG TOTAL. (I missed this requirement when purchasing the ticket and in the pre-flight emails.) So they made me check my small roller luggage, which required standing in another long line because ONLY ONE agent could collect fees. So by the time I was done paying, I had already decided that I would NEVER AGAIN fly Norwegian Air!"

Miinukset: "This applies to all airlines: crack down on travelers trying to bring to much cabin luggage! Also, travelers should have to first use the bin space above their seat before using some other bin space. Many people in the back of plane cram their cabin luggage into the first bins they see so they don't have to carry it from the back."

Plussat: "The seat was fairly comfortable. The pilot communicated with the passengers about the reason for the delay, due to mechanical issue."
Miinukset: "I was not made aware, until I got to the gate and was boarding, that a personal item (that was small enough to easily fit under my seat), would not be allowed on the plane without incurring a $60 Euro charge. Plussat: "You know i have never had a bad experience on any airline until till today at 2:15pm on September 29, 2017 while boarding the plane for flight number 4244 on easyjet airlines when i was told that i had to take my backpack that served as my purse for my last two weeks of travel and put eveything in my backpack, which included my wallet, passport, ipad, phone, meds, and ereader in my other regular size carry on. My son and i each had a carry on suitcase that met the requirment when I flew to Rome last friday on the exact same size plane. I was told I was NOT to have two types of carry on bags i was only ALOWED ONE and was NOT given the option of putting it under my seat. They were more than willing to charge me another 50 Euro to check my carry on bag. But first she asked to see my ticket to see if i was even allowed another checked bag. She DID NOT look at my ticket but immediately flipped my passport and saw that i was from the US AND TOLD ME I WAS ALLOWED ONLY ONE CARRY ON BAG! Yet this awesomely nice Canadian couple (they spoke to me after the flight landed in Paris and were shocked i was made to do this given what they carried on the plane) who had checked and paid for 3 bags and then turned around and carried on a cloth canvas bag for him, a black purse for her, a shopping bag bigger than her purse with items in it and two backpacks. What happened to being able to carry on a carry on suitcase and a purse for women or a lap top size bag, which in some cases is larger than my backpack?I have never hated anyone in my life but I am really tired of the world judging ALL AMERICANS under the same umbrella. I spent my hard earned money in Italy and to be treated with such disrespect on the way out of the country completley floored me! I will not ever fly back into Rome, Italy on any airline! These people are rude and do not care who they offend but Americans are supposed to kiss eveybody's butts! Sorry but I am mad and have written to the airline and i am sure nothing will happen."
Miinukset: "Also, there is a reason for the space under the seat in front of you. The crew seemed completely untrained to deal with a problem of no place to put bags. There were many samll backpacks and purses in overhead bins that should have been on the floor in front of the petson carrying them. My bag or nobody else's bag should have to ne put at the back of the plane while my seat is damn near at the front if the plane. They were not afraid to offend me but people from countries other than the US they wouldn't even make them put the bag under the seat in front of them."

Miinukset: "We were told that we could only carry on one item, unless we upgraded to Easyjet plus, but we were not able to upgrade because no seats were available, even though the plane was only ~2/3 full. Our 'extra' items were a knitting bag and a laptop bag, but the checkin agents persuaded us that we would need to check the carry ons anyway, which slowed our departure enough that we missed our bus and had to get a taxi (for 200 pounds). Our flight had plenty of empty seats, and there was more than enough room for us to have had our carryons and personal items (which I would have been willing to pay the upgrade fee for, as the total price would still have been competitive."

Miinukset: "The flight was late taking off by an hour, we received messages that it was going to be late, but by only ten minutes. Even at the desk, a long line formed at the original boarding gate, before we were told that the gates were chaning to one at the other end of the building. Then made to queue at the gate for half an hour, then sat in the plane for an hour. Plus on top of that it was from Stansted which is the worst aiport."
Plussat: "The crew in Iceland tried very hard to make the best of a bad situation that they did not create."
Miinukset: "Our Easy Jet flight from Reykjavik to Geneva was cancelled because the plane that the company sent over from Geneva was about 15 seats too small. The ground crew told us that all rows after 26 did not exist. At first, this was characterized as an overbooking, which probably made me more angry than the subsequent explanation that the plane from Geneva had maintenance problems, and that passengers from Geneva to Reykjavik had suffered the same fate. The real problem here is that Easy Jet lacks problem solvers. We watched a bag jam-up the conveyer from the check in to wherever it goes from there. Ticket agent after ticket agent tried to fix it until one got lucky. Where was the person with a toolbox who knew about these things? Likewise, with our situation, there should have been a customer service specialist who had seen this type of problem and knew just what to do. Instead, the ground crew, friendly as they were, really just made a lot of phone calls for us and tried to be empathetic. We'll be filing a claim for compensation and hopefully Easy Jet can make some improvements."

Miinukset: "I was put in the awkward situation of trying to stuff my handbag in my carry on suitcase because apparently with eastJet you can only bring one bag on not even a small hand bag. Unfortunately my friend had a backpack and could not fit it in her carry on suitcase and we were then charged an additional £45. EasyJet should make it more clear that only one bag is allowed on the flight as many people were not aware of this and everyone had to open their bags and try to stuff everything into one bag. Unsure why this is a rule as most other airlines allow a carry on and a small handbag considering the space by my feet was empty because I had to shove my handbag/purse in my carry on which was stowed in the hold anyways because they did not have enough room for it. Very disappointed and will never book with EasyJet again."

If u dont you pay 50€ fee to checkin at airport ( absolutely rediculous to start with!!!!!) However, i tried to checkin online at 09:40 and payed for my suitcase, once i payed for my case, not only it didnt send me confirmation of payment or receipt, it asked for my passport details and date of birth which i entered... and then it told me the flight has already departed and wouldnt let me checkin. after 4 attempts trying.... my father called ryanair to ask for advise on what to do with this situation, and was told that we can checkin at the airport. We go to Pafos airport, where staff of ryanair at checkin were extremely rude.... and after explaining the situation... told us we must pay €50 to check in and get on my flight... told us to go to the other side of the airport to pay. We tried to explain the situation to another extreeeemely rude member of staff called Evi... who says she needs proof that i couldnt check in... so i showed her the emails i had received from ryanair.... and she said she could see it on her screen that i was in the ryanair site... but said she needed a print screen to prove it.... how pathetic!!! Then when questioning why emails from ryanair were not sufficient proof she said she is just doing her job and she doesnt care because she doesnt work for ryanair. Ironicaly told us to pay and have a nice day. We paid. And will make a huge complaint... and advertise how pathetic this airline is... not only the rules, they even ignore their own rules, as they have the rudest staff both ground and on board im sure they need the extra money to understandably employ better staff or maybe get better planes... or hopefully follow monarch so bad airlines get out and leave the good ones to do their job professionally. The way they service ob is another story. Staff look exhausted... unmotivated and very unhappy. I work for the crewing dept of an international shipping company... where we arrange travel for officers and crew hourly 24/7 , 365 days a year.....and will make sure that under no circumstances do we use ryanair as it will reflect badly on our company. I paid €250.00 for the ticket + €40.00 20kg + €50.00 because they wouldnt let me check in. = €340.00 €340.00 i could have gone with a better airline... had a happier flight.... not feel ripped off...and not been spoken to so rudely. I never complain. But this experience was continuously awful. And i will make sure this is expressed world wide. Cheating people is unacceptable. If i was late to try check in, or i did something wrong, or i was rude, or if the flight cost was rediculously low. i would understand.. but i paid good money for a ticket, too much money for a 14kg bag and ontop extra for the fault of the airlines webpage & acepted attitude!!Lesson learned!! For sure they will lose alot more than 1 customer!!!!"

People just moved the barrier and sat in the priority section. No enforcement of rules at all. So everyone got priority treatment - or you could say no one got priority treatment, just some of us paid extra to be treated like cattle."
Miinukset: "As far as I am concerned, Ryan air is a scam, they are not the cheap airline they profess to be after all there bullshit charges and fees they become one of the most expensive ever. For one thing there luggage weight allowance is 3 to 4 kg less than any other airline, plus a $40.00 fee. Then because they didn't email my boarding passes as promised I was fined $50.00 per pass to have then print them (x4). I won't say never but it WILL be a cold day in hell before I ever fly Ryan Air again!!!"

Miinukset: "First problem started when the Rynair website would not recognize my information when I tried to check-in online. I assumed that this may have been completed during the recent purchase because there website said my flight was confirmed. Arriving to the airport later than I would have liked but within more then the 40 minutes required to check-in when I arrived I was put on the incorrect line, after explaining that I wasn't able to check-in online, then when told finally I needed to go customer service. I should have been on the line to check-in instead, and after standing on long lines as a disabled passenger was told that it was to late to board. Your customer service agent didn't apologize for his staffs incompetence putting me on the incorrect lines to check-in and then did not offer to put me on the same flight schedule for the following day unless I payed an additional $100. I would have made my flight in more than enough time especially in such a small airport if the staff put me on the correct line to check-in. I was flying to Madrid on business and missed and had a small window of opportunity to meet a client who because of the delay would no longer be available because they were also soon traveling on business.This snow balled into a variety of problems; I had to pay for the apartment in Madrid I had pre-booked, and train tickets that where purchased would no longer be used, I had to go back to Paris and find another hotel to stay in."
